Things have really been jumping lately.
We’ve had a ton of inquiries since the radio interview
and I’ve also been quite busy replying to the
feedback from Steve’s latest article. Most people
now, do seem to understand where we are coming from…
but there are also still quite a few who just don’t
seem to understand the plain meaning of the Scriptures
concerning “coming out” of Babylon the Great.
Below I’ll paste a short summation from the email
replies I’ve given and then I’ll address
one other point (once again), which has been put before
us numerous times. After that I’ve got a ton of
articles to share via links in the journal. A special
thanks goes out to our readers for most of these links,
especially to JN and Stephen G. First things first however,
and I want to share once again the premise behind God’s
command to “come out” of Babylon.
As I said above, most people do seem to
understand at this point, where we are coming from,
on this matter. Yet there are still those that do not
get it. They point to the sinful state of the other
nations of the earth and they point to the fact that
“the whole world lieth in evil” to buttress
their argument that several other nations are just as
evil as Babylon the Great or to say that it doesn’t
matter where you are when the end comes. The Bible just
doesn’t support those lines of thinking and to
the contrary (and as has been pointed out in this journal,
for examples read the November 24 journal
entry) shows a single nation from which the great evils
of the end of the age emanate. The Bible also shows
clearly that the call to God’s people is to flee
from this nation… lest in not fleeing, you become
a partaker in her sins and remove yourself completely
from God’s will. Below is a summation of recent
email responses I have made on this matter:
The great difference [between the
US, itself and the world-wide system it has established]
is that the US is a self-professing Christian nation.
It's president claims to be a Christian, its elected
representatives at the local, state, and federal level
all claim the same as well. Its people overwhelmingly
claim to be servants of Christ. The Church, as a social
body and as an institution is intimately involved in
the affairs of the State. As a matter of fact it is
the Church that is behind the right wing, militaristic
direction of the US over the past 24 years.
No other country on earth, be it England,
Canada, Germany, etc. is even marginally Christian on
a societal level... much less as zealously Christian
(in an apostate way) as the US is. The Bible describes
the relationship between the Church and the US state
as a Woman (the Church) riding the Beast (Babylon the
Great/America). The significance of fallen Christianity
as the driving force behind this empire is what separates
the US from all other nations and it is in this role
that it is identified for the "special" destruction
laid out for it in the book of Revelation chapter
18.
To continue on that thought... it
is America's false Christianity that makes it so terribly
evil. It is the fact that all it does is done in God's
name... and with the consent of the majority of its
"Christian" citizens. The system is terrible
as well, but in and of itself it does not lead people
into worshipping another Christ... especially in nations,
which have not embraced an apostate, societal form of
Christianity that sanctions, murder, poverty, destruction,
torture, etc, etc. as being a necessary part of serving
God's Kingdom. It is the mixture of Christ's name and
His Church to the corruption of the World that is anathema
to God… and it is this mixture, which is the driving
force behind what is driving the US to fulfill the Bible’s
predictions concerning Babylon the Great, the Beast,
the Antichrist, etc. etc…
As to… …comments on "coming out"
of Babylon (as mentioned in Rev. 18:4)...
we have dealt with both the first and second part of
this verse extensively in our writings over the past
year or so. Fear of physical danger should not be the
motivating force here because Christ has plainly told
us in His words that as His true followers we are to
be subject to such things... and that our fear should
be directed towards the Lord:
Mat 10:28 And fear
not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill
the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy
both soul and body in hell.
The relevance of this to Revelation
18: 4 is that this destruction takes place
at the beginning of God's execution of judgment upon
the earth... i.e. the Day of the Lord... i.e. the Wrath
of God... i.e. the time at the end of the age spoken
of in Daniel when the Stone Cut Without Hands (Christ)
strikes down and topples to utter destruction that final
gentile world empire (Daniel 2). At
this point, all who receive of this judgment are receiving
God's judgment and are therefore "appointed"
to receive of His wrath. It is this wrath... and the
spiritual implications of being counted among those
who receive it that leads us to write what we write.
The physicality attached to the verse
is because those who remain will be changed. They will
by remaining, become partakers in Babylon's sins...
therefore God will be justified to count them among
those who receive of her plagues (judgments). The Bible
says that a little leaven, leavens the whole lump. Those
who physically remain in Babylon will both physically
and SPIRITUALLY partake of the leaven
and will in the end be a part of the "leavened
lump" unworthy to God. This will happen due to
the fact that the spiritual and the physical, insofar
as Babylon the Great is concerned have become so intertwined
that God characterizes it as a picture of a Woman (the
Church) riding a Beast (the Antichrist Nation, i.e.
Babylon the Great).
One cannot come out of the one without
coming out of the other. Whether the corrupting process
of leavening will take place by coercion, intimidation,
delusion, or the loving of family, friends, and the
things of this world over Christ... I do not know (on
an individual basis). It will be different for each
person who remains... Yet, what is clear is that ALL
who remain behind will become "partakers in her
sins" and will receive of her plagues... once again
plague that bear a spiritual price for eternity... in
that we know that God will not destroy the righteous
with the unrighteous... when executing His wrath.
Hopefully my once again going over these
matters is of benefit to everyone out there. I just
felt led to share this information one more time. Another
subject we have been contending with lately is the thought
that this message of fleeing Babylon is one that only
the well off can countenance. There have been a few
emails lately, which have said as much and in doing
so these people have not clearly seen or understood
what it took for us (as a group) to get up here.
When we left Sacramento, there were essentially
nine adults and three children who came up here. Of
the nine adults only two were working full-time in the
world (and therefore making income), while another worked
part-time, one was attending college, and most all were
still doing “full-time” work for the ministry.
The two working full-time worked for the State of California
and were by no means getting rich from their efforts.
An additional income source was the support brought
in by the ministry (but most the overwhelming majority
of that goes back into keeping the ministry itself going)
The only way we were able to survive in Sacramento,
much less countenance a move to Canada, was to freely
share of all that we have with each other.
Nonetheless, we dedicated ourselves to
getting out and were able to do so. Due to the call
the Lord has put upon us to prepare others in this message
we were also able to find a place up here that is big
enough to house our large group and still have room
for others to come. This was made possible by the sale
of a house in Sacramento and the God sent assistance
of a very few others, who made very real and substantial
sacrifices to help us in this. As I said though, this
was necessary for us to have a place for others in addition
to ourselves.
In addition to the financial challenge
we also had serious health matters to contend with.
One person in our party is a diabetic and another has
serious heart problems. Finally, about a week before
we were scheduled to leave one of our group was hospitalized
with a severe and life-threatening respiratory ailment.
This ailment ended up requiring two surgeries and nearly
three months of hospitalization. It also left the person
with a nine-inch scar where surgeons went into their
chest with their hands to complete the procedure necessary
for recovery. Praise God that three months after our
arrival here, this person was able to join us.
In spite of all these stumbling blocks
we left Babylon anyway. We came on faith… and
God has been merciful. Since here we have been poverty-stricken
and we have had to scramble at all times to survive.
We have had to rely on the Lord to keep us healthy and
we have had to rely upon Him to provide a way for us
to get medical care when it has been necessary. None
of us who came up are landed immigrants yet. We are
still visitors in Canada… and as such have had
to leave Canada on more than one occasion to keep ourselves
in the good graces of Canadian law. Yet we trust God
to always get us back… and we also trust Him that
our immigration issues will be resolved in due time.
All this has been mentioned to say that
while having compassion and understanding for how hard
it is to leave the US, we do not see anything or any
reason the overrides God’s commandment to flee.
Nor do we see any circumstance of poverty or health
that He is unable to overcome, in respect to allowing
“His children” to follow “His Word.”
Canada is not the only option. There are other nations
easily accessible to US citizens, which are not as stringent
as Canada in their immigration process. In this sense
it is not that important to us exactly where you go
(I don’t mean that in a bad way, but that it should
be where God leads you to go), but it is extremely important
for you to go. It is important because God has commanded
you to do so.
While I’ve been quite busy contending
with all the matters noted above I have also received
some fantastic links from dear friends and readers.
Since the primary purpose of this journal (as I see
it) is to share relevant news with commentary…
we’ll now proceed with such.
First up is the system of torture and
abuse the US uses to maintain the empire. As noted in
a recent Washington
Post article the significance of Abu Ghraib
is that the “system” was revealed to the
public and survived its public exposure. Not only has
it survived, but it still flourishes.
Rather than love their enemies, Americans
have chosen instead to revile and dehumanize them. An
example of this is the ambivalence shown towards “what
is necessary” insofar as obtaining information
is concerned… and how the “rules concerning
such things” are not moral imperatives…
but instead abstract guidelines meant to be bent and
broken when necessary. A recent piece recounts this
practice in its reporting of how interrogators in Afghanistan
kept looking for “loopholes”
to justify harsher treatment of prisoner:
“But the interrogators kept
returning to the idea, looking for a loophole. Mackey
said he came to approach it like a tax problem: here's
the outcome the client wants, how can the tax code be
interpreted in such a way to justify it?”
In this example the inflicting of suffering
and pain upon another human being is approached coldly
and calculatingly as a “tax problem” in
which a loophole must be found to justify wreaking larger
doses of pain and suffering upon captives. What this
really means is that the means justifies the ends. It
means that evil acts are acceptable if done in the service
of good… but I tell you, God will have none of
this and it is a big thing to Him when those who hold
themselves up as being His servants do or approve of
such things.
This is also big because the US is supposed to be a
“Christian nation” and therefore claims
to be a nation of servants to God. The president is
supposed to be a Christian as are the majority of the
men and women in positions of power in the legislative
and executive branch. In spite of these public professions
of faith by the people of the US and their leaders…
there has been no real effort to examine or change a
system that makes frequent use of murder, violence,
torture, etc.
These are just the things that take place
in secret places. What about what is involved with waging
a war such as the one going on in Iraq? A US soldier
seeking
asylum in Canada has said his unit killed
more than 30 innocent Iraqi civilians in just two days.
Plus, I don’t think people truly consider what
it is like to be involved in such a struggle and how
antithetical to Christ and His kingdom it truly is.
James Carol offers a very relevant statement to this
effect in a recent Boston
Globe article:
“The main horror of what the
"coalition" is doing is not a matter of the
occasional soldier who, in the heat of battle, commits
a war crime, but the steady destruction rained on cities,
villages, the Iraqi people. This violence is wreaked
calmly, from a distance, within the rules of engagement.
The war itself is the American war
crime. But that is lost in the "normalcy"
of the news.”
Yet Americans, and specifically Christian
Americans do not make this connection. Instead they
glorify victory in war… if not war itself…
as a noble and necessary venture to combat evil in this
world. In doing so they reveal that they truly do not
know Christ and are instead serving another God…
a god of war, greed and avarice. It is this “Christianization”
of war, conflict and the quest for empire… that
sets the US apart as the terrible nation that is Babylon
the Great.
Come on now… think about it for
a second. What is it about America that makes it's evil
so much more significant than that perpetrated by other
nations? It is the “Christianization” of
America’s sins… by her own people. What
other nation could or would produce a limited
edition Bible tailored for use by Special
Forces units? The forces are the ones involved in the
most combat, at the closest range, and are required
to be the MOST indiscriminate in their use of lethal
force to take human life. Yet America has a Bible, just
for them… one that will no doubt make them feel
good about executing their duties, no matter the cost
in human life.
What should we expect from Babylon the
Great? America and its people are playing their role
to sad perfection. Their belief that God is with them
is in the same
vein as the belief Germany and its leaders
held and acted upon decades ago. What happened then
cost millions of lives and destroyed the testimony of
Germany’s Church. The future America is unleashing
will bring even greater death and calamity upon the
world and will reveal American Christians for the tares
that they apparently are.
"Go out of the midst
of her, my people! Let every man save his life from
the fierce anger of the LORD! Jeremiah 51: 45.
November 27, 2004
Recently there has been a lot of talk
centered on what we are saying here at Antipas Ministries.
“What we’ve been saying,” is referring
to our stand on fleeing Babylon, i.e. the US. The predominant
stream of thought among detractors is that our going
to Canada actually accomplishes nothing, because Canada
is going to be absorbed into the American empire.
The thought process follows that fleeing
to a nation, which is destined to become a part of the
“Babylonian Empire” in the end will accomplish
nothing… since once it is absorbed those who oppose
the American New World Order and the Religious Right’s
involvement in it will be, to put it nicely, “dealt
with.” Those saying such things totally discount
the fact that our moving to Canada has nothing to do
with insuring our physical safety from the forces of
the American Empire. Physical safety against this beast
probably cannot be secured by fleeing to any country.
Our concern was of course to follow God’s
commandment to flee from Babylon because of the SPIRITUAL
dangers inherent with remaining within it. These are
dangers, which we have dealt with in detail via this
journal and Steve’s articles… yet they are
ones that our detractors discount as being misinterpretations
of the Bible. To them the passage in Revelation 18:4
is insufficient evidence, and the Old Testament passages
speak of ancient Babylon’s destruction…
therefore we haven’t a leg to stand on. Interestingly
it appears they must not have read the passages I have
quoted from the Old Testament, since all of them deal
with a future
destruction of Babylon and a future judgment
of those residing within it.
Some take this even one step further and
attempt to say that Canada and the US are one in the
same in all areas relevant to this discussion. A quote
from one such person reads as follows:
“One would have to be incredibly
naïve if they thought there was anything culturally,
politically or economically unique about Canada compared
to America to the south.”
To support this statement a link to an
article was offered, which shows plans between US and
Canadian military planners to form a sort of “binational
integration.” In all honesty, I am
dumbfounded that anyone could say that there is no uniqueness
between (i.e. no differences between) Canada and the
US insofar as culture and politics are concerned.
Speaking as someone who has lived in both
countries I can freely and quite easily say that the
differences between the two nations on matters of culture
and politics are as dramatic as those between night
and day. Apparently I am not the only one who feels
this way, since a recent article in the Washington
Post puts forth the following tidbits of
information:
“Longtime observers here say
the societies in Canada and the United States are drifting
further apart in values and outlook even as
their economies become more closely intertwined. Politically,
they say, the two countries' populations are more
estranged than at any time in recent memory,
and Canadians are becoming increasingly critical of
their southern neighbors.”
Even the title of the article makes it
plain that Canada… and more specifically Canadians
want nothing to do with the direction the US is headed
culturally and politically. The article is titled:
Forecast Frosty for U.S.-Canadian
Ties
Cultural Gap Between Neighbors Widens Even as Economies
Grow Closer
Once again, as someone living in Canada
I can verify, at least insofar as my own personal experience
is concerned, the veracity of the premise put forth
in the Post article. Though the Canadian economy is
losing its independence to the US, this is a fact that
only the wealthy in Canada are pleased with. As to matters
of culture and politics, the great majority of 30 million
plus Canadians want nothing to do with the direction
the US is headed. More specifically they want nothing
to do with one particular aspect of the US in a cultural
and political sense.
The aspect they particularly abhor is
the Religious Right and its Dominionist Agenda in both
the culture war and politics within the US. Ironically,
this “false” Christian involvement is the
very thing that God abhors as well. It is this facet
of America that singles it out especially for the destruction
destined to befall Babylon the Great. The fact that
America is building its beast empire under the guise
of being a “Christian Nation” angers God
above all else.
There have been empires in times past.
Yet never before have economic might, military power,
cultural self-righteousness, and religious zeal merged
so seamlessly under the banner of Christianity, as they
do in the United States. Add to this the fact that the
military power and economic might of this “beast
nation” is greater than any throughout the world’s
history and one should begin to see the prophetic significance
of it all.
Yet to lump Canada in as a part of this
is farcical. There is no desire to incorporate God into
country within the provinces of Canada. Canadians have
no desire to “take back their country for Christ.”
Unlike American Christians, Canadians (even Canadian
Christians) have no compulsion to say as Kenneth Copeland
has that:
“This country belongs to God
... He's the One who brought the United States of America
into existence. He had a special purpose for it ...
He raised it up, and it's not going to be taken away
from Him.”
In the Antipas
Papers, S.R. Shearer summed up the sentiments
at work on the “Christian side” of America’s
culture war as follows:
“People like Hunt - and even
Pat Robertson and Tim LaHaye - have come to sincerely
believe that their civilization - Western Christendom
- is under siege by a godless "Secular Humanism"
bent on its destruction; they think of themselves as
modern-day "Crusader Knights" united together
in a "holy brotherhood" to confront this menace
and that in doing so, they are doing nothing more than
what the Templars, the Hospitalers and the Teutonic
Knights did when confronting the Asian and Islamic hordes
which were hurling themselves against Christendom a
millennium ago.”
This is where American Christianity “is
at” and the ideology of these men is now the predominant
ideology within the US… as Election 2004 proved
beyond a shadow of a doubt. For someone to state that
the Canada is the same as the US in this regard, especially
someone who in times past had no problem identifying
the US as Babylon the Great and was able to make the
distinction between Babylon the Great and the rest of
the world, leads me to believe that there are ulterior
motives at play. What else can explain so radical a
shift in thought? The Bible hasn’t changed its
meaning… and the other countries of the world
certainly have not become more “Christian”…
at least in the militant, Dominionist way, which characterizes
“The Woman” riding the Beast in the Book
of Revelation.
Below is just a short sample of previous
emails from one who formerly understood the significance
and peculiarity of the position of the US as Babylon
the Great and also understood the call to leave it:
“Thu 8/14/2003 1:11
PM
I did not object to the direction they were going, but
how they were going about it. I have no problem as
you can see in EVERYTHING I write that Christians must
leave Babylon. But insulting them rather than
communicating clearly are two different things.”
“Sat 9/20/2003 1:17
PM
I never said that I disagreed with Antipas over
the matter of leaving Babylon. I believe that
the system is as corrupt as can be. I believe
we should give the best, most reasoned arguments as
to why Christians should leave, along with a solution
– i.e. what to do?”
“Fri 1/23/2004 11:03
AM
…I have no problem if you all feel to
go to Canada. I think it is a very good idea, and Lord
willing, I will be able to leave as well…
… Oh, I think it will be bad.
It will get very bad but there will be few places to
go to escape unless you keep a very low profile, don’t
let anyone know where you are and pay for everything
with cash. Dropping out with a “high profile”
is like not dropping out at all but waving a red flag
at the charging bull! You should have just gone
quietly and raised as much “hell”
as you want from a secure server somewhere. But your
vulnerability increases geometrically with your financial
exposure and a growing number of people seeking refuge.”
Aside from the fact that once again this
person misses the mark in thinking this is about physical
safety instead of spiritual safety... the bigger issue
is that less than a year from the date of the last correspondence
referenced above the same individual has no problem
with openly stating the following:
Friday, November 26, 2004
2:31 PM
" …One would have
to be incredibly naïve if they thought there was
anything culturally, politically or economically unique
about Canada compared to America to the south.
The only separation that counts from
the world is spiritual - not physical. All of Sean's
latest scriptures on Babylon, especially those that
refer to ancient Babylon are taken out of context and
miss the real point. We are told to overcome in this
world - "even in the streets of that great city"
(Revelation 11:8). We are "in" the world but
not "of" it.”
[As a side note I encourage everyone to
read the info at the following link,
to truly understand the meaning of the term "that
great city" as cited in Rev 11:8 and to therefore
understand where the testimony of the two witnesses
is to take place, in that it refers to the world, which
Babylon has conquered, excluding Jerusalem which is
the Holy city.]
Above I mentioned that only ulterior motive
can explain such a pronounced shift in sentiments in
such a short period of time… especially when the
former sentiments were based upon a literal interpretation
of the Bible and the latter seem to be a total disregard
for the plain, literal meaning of those same scriptures…
scriptures that by and large Antipas Ministries has
been aware of and has written about often over the past
two decades. Steve touched upon the motive behind such
people in his last
article when he stated:
“They know what they should
do! - that they should leave Babylon; that they should
get out. The Scriptures are plain enough to see if anyone
really wants to see. They don't leave because they "love"
it there, and/or they are MORAL cowards insofar as their
wives and other loved ones are concerned.”
Steve is no doubt direct and very much
“to the point” on this matter. He is also
completely correct. In our correspondence and communication
with those who refuse to leave in spite of what the
scriptures say… it is almost always out of their
fear to confront or stand up to a spouse or loved-one
that has no desire to receive the plain truth of God’s
Word on this matter. Yet that will not be good enough
for Christ ON THAT DAY… as He
plainly says:
Mat 10:34 Think not
that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to
send peace, but a sword.
Mat 10:35
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter
in law against her mother in law.
Mat 10:36 And a man's foes shall be
they of his own household.
Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or
mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that
loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of
me.
In these passages what He is saying is
that to totally follow Christ, His message, and His
commandments will set you at variance against your loved
ones. Those who choose convenience and the things of
this world over true servitude to Christ will be against
the true believer… even if they are bound as husband
and wife. Those who stay in the apostate Church and/or
desire to remain within Babylon the Great will hate
those who stand against these things… even if
they are father and son. Yet Christ says to true believers
that to choose father, mother, son, daughter, husband
or wife over the truth exposes that person as someone
who loves the people around them more than they love
Christ… And that in doing so they are not worthy
of Christ. What a fearful thing to be deemed unworthy
by Christ Jesus!
On top of all this it is for sure that
those who harden their hearts to fleeing, or even towards
the concept of fleeing will no doubt be transformed.
They will be changed, so to speak, and given over to
believing a lie as opposed to believing the truth. The
Bible says that only a little leaven is necessary to
leaven the whole lump… which means that clinging
to one falsehood will eventually lead to the whole of
one’s beliefs being false before the Savior.
Those who claim they will be out in the
streets of Babylon testifying against it at a later
date while enjoying its pleasures now; will most probably
have become so transformed by that point that they will
never speak out in testimony against it… especially
when the price to be paid is real and will be charged
upon them by men able to take away all their possessions
and even their lives, not just by a wife or husband
who loves what Babylon has become and has no desire
to leave. We pray for those headed down this slippery
slope and we desire only that all men see clearly what
God is calling His Church to do in these last days.
On a positive note, Thursday night’s
interview with Joe Myles of CJUM 101.5 FM in Winnipeg,
Manitoba was a smashing success. Email responses to
the interview have been voluminous and very positive.
Joe also phoned me yesterday to say that the radio station
was inundated with requests for transcripts of the show
and inquiries as to when we would be on again. He also
said that the number of online listeners was one of
the highest ever for the station. Amen to that!
Based upon this positive response we will
be getting a copy of the interview on the website and
available for download in the next few days. We will
also be working to provide more of our message in an
audio format as rapidly as is possible. We have wanted
to offer our own version of Internet Radio and audio
presentations of the information we cover for quite
some time. To do this and to do it quickly, we need
assistance from all of you. Audio equipment and extra
bandwidth are very expensive. Help us in defraying this
cost by supporting this ministry. You can do so by clicking
on the following link:
http://www.antipasministries.com/support.html
In the days ahead we’ll have the
remainder of Fred’s travel journal posted and
we will also have another installment of the Scriptural
imperative behind fleeing Babylon. Until then...
God Bless,
Sean

NEWS ALERT:
STEVE SHEARER AND SEAN MAYFIELD WILL BE TAKING PART
IN AN INTERVIEW BY JOE MYLES OF CJUM 101.5 FM IN WINNIPEG,
MANITOBA, CANADA ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT (NOVEMBER 25,
2004) AT 11:20 P.M. PACIFIC TIME (2:20 A.M. OF THE 26TH
EASTERN TIME). YOU CAN LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW LIVE
AT: www.umfm.com
Though TV news in the US is trying its
best to spin what is going on in Iraq in the best light
possible, international news and commentary
offers a much harsher look at what is going on. Having
never been in combat or even having served in the military,
on a personal level I cannot imagine all the brutal
details of just what happens in a war zone… but
I know enough of the details to see that what is required
to wage and win wars has nothing to do with Jesus Christ
or His Kingdom. That is a hard thing for many people
to take. You have no idea how many emails we get from
“Christians” who call us cowards, unpatriotic,
and even antichristian because we refuse to sanction
or support this supposed war against evil. Most Christians
have only a passing (at best) acquaintance with the
Bible and therefore have easily been duped into thinking
that men can somehow battle evil on earth with smart
bombs and assault rifles. In doing so they reveal that
their true allegiance lies in the things of this world…
and that in taking part in this battle they are not
defeating evil… but becoming evil.
In addition to the horror being visited
upon civilians in Iraq, let us also not forget the price
to be paid by the soldiers. Estimates
now place US casualties from the war in Iraq at 15,000.
Independent sources going over the evidence say that
number could be as high as 30,000. The above article
estimates that 300,000 members of the armed forces have
served in Iraq… so that puts the overall casualty
rate at 10%. The left keeps hoping that news such as
this will push American sentiments against the war…
but I hope they are not holding their breath. Americans,
and Christians in particular are by and large hardened
in their resolve that the troops can’t leave until
victory is achieved. These are the same people who are
mad that “we didn’t finish the job in Vietnam.”
They are not former participants or admirers of the
60’s peace movement, but are instead people who
more than anything else believe America’s power
and its exercise of power are God ordained necessities
(for the country and the world) that are not to be deterred
by the facts of what is actually going on.
The transition of the US into a sort of
Christian/Orwellian state is saddening, yet remarkable
to see. Just today I ran across this story,
which shows how Big Brother-style billboards touting
Bush the Leader have sprung up in Florida… what
is next 24 hour surveillance of citizens? … Oh
wait; they are already implementing that… Seriously
though, how a nation, which is supposedly Christian,
be so devoted to man who is not Christ? First century
Christians in Rome suffered murderous torture and death
because they refused to worship or even pay “homage”
to the genus of the emperor, yet Christians in the “greatest
Christian nation ever” worship the cult of the
new emperor on a scale that would have made Nero blush.
What is happening is that a “synergy”
of sorts is taking place. The two “great”
movements of the early 21st Century are coming together.
Those two movements are Neo-Conservatism and Right-wing
Christianity. The two have a lot in common and they
no doubt feed off each other. What they also do is offer
a similar
false prophecy of America and the Church’s
future. The one sees American Hegemony being achieved
through aggression and control of the world economy’s
most vital resource… while the other offers a
similar yet slightly splintered view. Those yearning
for hegemony on its own terms are of course the Neocons,
while the splintered sect is Right-wing Christianity.
They are splintered into two main camps. The first is
the group which though actually Dominionist in the way
they live their lives… still holds to the old-line
“false teachings” concerning the rapture
and the return of Christ. The millions of fans for Tim
Lahaye’s Left Behind series typify these. The
other group is made up of those who are out and out
Dominionist. They are the true radicals behind this
movement and the most dedicated to using America’s
entire arsenal to defeat the forces of evil on this
earth. They are Succeeding
in Their Quest for National Control and World Power
and will not stop until the US and the world have been
made over into their image of Christ’s Kingdom.
Their image is not of Christ however;
it is instead that of antichrist and his kingdom…
Babylon the Great. Over the years we have written volumes
about Babylon the Great and over the past year and a
half (or so) we have written extensively about God’s
call to His people to come out of her. As of late there
has been a lot of email activity covering these subjects
and over the next few journals I will be sharing some
of the scriptures we have been going over in these emails.
For starters let’s look at some of the basic scriptures
that define Babylon the Great and that compel “God’s
people” to flee from it. The compilation of Scripture
and original comments for the following analyis came
from a friend and brother in the Lord who had no interest
in receiving credit for his work. I offer that credit
"anonymously" nonetheless.
Who (or What) is Babylon?
There are two Babylons, the first is the
false Christian religious entity which the Bible also
describes as the Harlot and the Woman. The other Babylon
is the Kingdom… or nation of Babylon. This Babylon
is the greatest superpower nation to ever exist. Also
known as the Beast, this nation eventually corrupts,
plunders, pollutes and destroys the whole world.
Jer
51: 7 Babylon was a golden cup
in the LORD's hand, making all the earth drunken; the
nations drank of her wine, therefore the nations went
mad.
Rev
14:8 And there followed another angel, saying,
Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because
she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath
of her fornication.
Rev
17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into
the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet
coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven
heads and ten horns.
Rev
17 :4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet,
and bedecked with gold and jewels and pearls, holding
in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the
impurities of her fornication;
(With
which she has made the nations drunk as we find in Rev
14:8)
Rev
17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written,
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND
ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Rev
17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore
didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the
woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath
the seven heads and ten horns.
The two Babylons, in their relationship
of co-existence are described in the Bible as a woman
sitting upon a beast. What is significant in examing
these passages and in examining the actual relationship
between Babylon the Great (the US) and the Harlot (Apostate
Christianity) is how difficult it is to see where the
one ends and the other begins. The two have become so
enmeshed, so intertwined, that the function of the one
is the service of the other… and vice versa.
The Coming Judgment of Babylon
and the Pronouncement of Judgment and Doom on Babylon
and a Call from God to Flee the Destruction…Will
(this) be both spiritual and physical ?
Judgment Pronounced on Babylon:
Rev
14:8 And there followed another angel, saying,
Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because
she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath
of her fornication.
Rev
18: 6 Render to her as she herself has rendered,
and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double draught
for her in the cup she mixed.
Rev18:7
As she glorified herself and played the wanton, so give
her a like measure of torment and mourning. Since in
her heart she says, `A queen I sit, I am no widow, mourning
I shall never see,'
Rev18:8
so shall her plagues come in a single day, pestilence
and mourning and famine, and she shall be burned with
fire; for mighty is the Lord God who judges her."
Rev
18:9 And the kings of the earth, who committed
fornication and were wanton with her, will weep and
wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning;
Compare those passages with the following
from Jeremiah and 1 Thessalonians:
Jer
51: 8 Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been
broken; wail for her! Take balm for her pain; perhaps
she may be healed.
1 Thess
5:3 When people say, "There is peace and
security," then sudden destruction will come upon
them as travail comes upon a woman with child, and there
will be no escape.
But, since we find in the OT, (that) Babylon
cannot be mended… God tells people to abandon
her.
The Call to Abandon Babylon and
Flee Out of Her
Jer
51:9 We would have healed Babylon, but she
was not healed. Forsake her, and let us go each to his
own country; for her judgment has reached up to heaven
and has been lifted up even to the skies.
Rev
18:4 Then I heard another voice from heaven
saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take
part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues;
(The same thing is being echoed in Revelation
as in Jeremiah, also consider the following two verses)
Jer
50:8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and
go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as
the he goats before the flocks.
Jer
51:45 "Go out of the midst of her, my
people! Let every man save his life from the fierce
anger of the LORD!
(The goats are to show the way for the
sheep to follow and the call for God's people, i.e.
the flocks, is to "Go out of the midst of her.")
Next consider the following verses:
Isa
48:20 Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from
the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell
this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye,
The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
Isa
48:21 And they thirsted not when he led them
through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out
of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the
waters gushed out.
(This appears to call for God’s
people to flee… and in doing so, declare the Good
News [including the Gospel of the Kingdom] to the ends
of the earth.)
Stones, Foundation Stones, and
Corner Stones at the Time of Harverst… Will any
be taken from Babylon the Great? How Does This Effect
Christians Remaining Within It?
(Understanding) Symbolism in the Bible
(is) crucial. We should be familiar with the terms,
Corner Stone, Spiritual Stones, Foundation Stones and
how they relate to Jesus Christ, Believers and the Prophets.
Eph
2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers
and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints,
and of the household of God;
Eph
2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the
apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the
chief corner stone;
Eph
2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed
together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph
2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for
an habitation of God through the Spirit.
1Pe
2:5 and like living stones be yourselves built
into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to
offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through
Jesus Christ.
1 Pe
2:6 For it stands in scripture: "Behold,
I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and
precious, and he who believes in him will not be put
to shame."
Now consider (this) warning in Jeremiah
in connection to Babylon (Read the whole chapter of
Jeremiah 50 and 51)
Jer
51:26 No stone shall be taken from you for
a corner and no stone for a foundation but you shall
be a perpetual waste says the LORD.
This appears to mean that corner stones,
foundation stones, and stones (period) are to be taken
from rest of the world but not from Babylon. This fits
with the statement in Revelation 18: 4, which infers
that those who remain within Babylon will become “partakers”
of her sins and will hence receive of her judgments.
Therefore, if all residing within Babylon when its time
for judgment comes are "fit for judgment, then
the logical deduction is that none will be included
in the "harvest."
Let’s go back to Jeremiah 50 and
51 to continue with more scriptures:
Jer
50:16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him
that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for
fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one
to his people, and they shall flee every one to his
own land.
(This looks to mean that at a certain
point there will be no more preaching of God’s
Word in Babylon and no more witnessing in Babylon.)
Jer
51:1 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise
up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the
midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying
wind.
Once again... examining these passages
looks to show that the desolation, both spiritual and
literal, of Babylon the Great is to be so terrible that
no stone shall be taken from there for a corner or for
a foundation. It appears that when speaking of stones
Jeremiah is not just be speaking of literal "building
blocks" such as bricks, granite, etc; but that
he appears to also be speaking of those "living
stones" which are those who make up the Church.
In other words he is speaking of those, "In whom
all the building fitly framed together groweth unto
an holy temple in the Lord."
If this is the case, then Jeremiah's statement
that no stone shall be taken (for use in building that
holy temple, i.e. the Body of Christ) from Babylon,
bears very grave ramifications for those Christians
choosing to remain behind. Additionally what looks to
be the case is that by the time of the Harvest (the
Rapture) all who had remained in Babylon and lived to
that point will not be counted as redeemable in the
eyes of Christ. Therefore, those who had formerly professed
to be Christians will have been eternally compromised
through their partaking in Babylon’s sins.
These passages do not appear to say that
believers who die before the Harvest will lose their
place. Therefore assuming that believers residing within
Babylon dying before the Harvest will be included among
the "tribulation saints" who are martyred
is not incorrect. However, the spiritual danger inherent
with remaining inside Babylon made known in the above
passages cannot be ignored. As S.R. Shearer
points
out, the great majority who decide to remain
in Babylon are not doing so because they are led to
be martyrs. They are instead making the choice Lot’s
wife did, in not wanting to leave her life and possessions
in Sodom behind, even when the Lord commands otherwise.
Once again consider:
Jer
50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their
shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned
them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain
to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
(Those currently standing as shepherds
for America's church are no doubt causing them to go
astray.)
Jer
50:7 All that found them have devoured them:
and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they
have sinned against the LORD , the habitation of justice,
even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
The earthly advesaries of those who have
been led astray say that they have not commited an offence
in devouring them, since these sheep, which have been
led astray have sinned against the Lord. These advesaries
are different from the shepherds which have led them
astray, i.e. false prophets, false teachers, false pastors,
etc, since these shepherds have done their evil deeds
under the guise of being God's servants.
This is relevant because it places an
emphasis on the point that false shepherds are going
to be held accountable for not just leading the sheep
astray (counseling them to stay within Babylon) but
for making them the prey of their advesaries, who "devour
them."
Jer
50:8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and
go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as
the he goats before the flocks.
Rather than be in the flock, which is
led astray or be counted among the "false shepherds"
God instead says, "Get out of Babylon, the land
of Chaledeans". He also calls on His shepherds
to be good leaders... and to be as the "he goats"
and lead the flock out.
As God's people follow His Word on this
there will come a point where true prophets, shepherds,
believers, etc. will no longer found in Babylon. All
indications from the Scriptures point to the conclusion
that believers will not be found or be taken from Babylon.
In the context of Jer. 51:9, 45 it appears God’s
people have thought it wiser (to say the least) to flee.
(To be continued…)
November 21, 2004
Was there vote fraud in the 2004 election?
Preliminary findings from a Berkeley study say that
yes.
What is the prophetic significance? Well as I mentioned
earlier, the significance is that those Americans who
“had the most to lose” by a Bush victory
have done nothing about it except cry in their milk.
I am not trying to foment rebellion, or anything like
that… what I am saying is that for all practical
purposes there is no worthwhile opposition to stand
in the way of anything Bush wants or plans to do and
in the prophetic sense that means that there is nothing
standing in the way of the alliance between the Woman
and the Beast. I mean; if people are too afraid to stand
in the streets now, are they going to stand in the streets
against the horrors to come? Decidedly I say no.
Just what are the plans that Bush and
the Christian have for America and the world? To find
out one would be better served watching
CBN than they would watching CNN. The agenda
of the Elites and of the Church have become so enmeshed
on economics, foreign policy, and social issues that
to see what the Church wants on most things is to know
what the Elites also want. Sadly what the Church wants
has nothing to do with Christ… and this too is
a fulfillment of prophecy:
“For the time will come when
they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their
own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having
itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from
the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (II
Timothy 4: 3-4)
The agenda of today’s Church is war, tax cuts,
and legislated morality… not exactly the blueprint
the Prince of Peace handed down to the Apostles. Especially
when one fully comprehends the horror that is involved
in waging
war of any kind. Where does the Gospel
of Christ have a place in a campaign where:
“more than 100,000 Iraqis have
been killed as a result of the US war on Iraq, the Abu
Ghraib torture case, the wedding massacre -- in which
40 civilians, including 10 children, were killed in
cold blood, as confirmed by an Associated Press Television
News film -- and the onslaught of consistent, documented
evidence of indiscriminate bombing of civilian neighborhoods
by US forces”
The simple truth is that it doesn’t
and those who lie to themselves and to Christ in saying
that they serve Him while supporting such things and
calling for more will find themselves squarely on the
wrong side of eternity… on that day. The Church
has allowed itself to be propagandized,
just as Germans did nearly seven decades ago. The reality
of what is going on is there for all to see… Yet
Christians choose not to see, since their actions prove
that they “love this present world” over
the Truth in Christ.
So what is next? The propaganda mill is
ratcheting up the rhetoric against Iran…
meanwhile Colin Powell is in the Mid East trying to
revive peace
talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
Looking at what must come to pass prophetically, one
has to recognize the significance of these two subjects.
Iran (with Egypt and Turkey as well) must be placed
in a position where they will be willing to attack Israel
and the forces of the US. News reports of the past few
months, in addition to preparing the American public
for the Elites plans to capture Iran’s oil wealth,
have also reported on Iranian
plans to do just such a thing. This attack,
as mentioned in Bible prophecy is the Gog
Magog War and it is this war, which “kicks
off, “ in dreadful fashion the events depicted
as the time of wars and rumors of wars (Matthew
24: 6)… i.e. the fulfillment of the prophecy
of the Red Horseman (Revelation 6: 4)
at the beginning
of Daniel’s Seventieth Week. However,
there is another significant event that occurs prior
to this and it is one that “officially”
begins the period of history known as the Tribulation.
This event is Israel’s “Covenant with Death
and Hell” (Isaiah 28: 15), i.e.
it’s defense pact with the Antichrist and his
kingdom, Babylon the Great. Could revived talks between
the US, Israel, and the Palestinians birth such a treaty?
It is highly probable. Would the US have to guarantee
Israeli safety to coerce them to relinquish land for
peace or to remove the wall separating the two sides?
This is very likely.
Given these matters it is imperative for
Christians in the US and abroad to soberly watch events
as they occur on the world stage. It is also imperative
that they take appropriate Biblical action, lest they
be swept up in the deception sweeping the Church and
become “partakers in the sins” of Babylon
the Great, hence receiving of her judgments.
November 13, 2004
"We ought therefore to suspect
that a great mass of information respecting the Bible,
and the introduction of it into the world, has been
suppressed by the united tyranny of Church and State,
for the purpose of keeping people in ignorance, and
which ought to be known."
Thomas Paine (1737-1809)
While many on the left grapple with the
disaster that was election 2004, as I noted the day
after the election… there are a few who understand
things. America
is a religious nation. More specifically,
it is a “Christian” nation… at least
insofar as the world defines Christians. What happened
last week was that people were asked to make a choice
between two sides. Both sides were for continuing the
wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Both sides were for the
war on terrorism. Both sides were more concerned with
issues related to Wall Street than they were to issues
relating to Main Street. Lastly, both sides had no real
plans to do anything that could be remotely considered
as contrary to Corporate America’s program of
globalization and free trade with its after-affect,
which is the “Wal-Martization” of America.
So what were Americans, a uniquely (at
least insofar as industrialized nations are concerned)
religious people, supposed to do? What they did was
vote on matters of “morality.” Absent a
candidate willing to do anything to “help the
little guy,” the people turned to the guy they
thought would push back the “liberal, secular-humanist
agenda”… an agenda that the average American
greatly fears and sees as evil in religious terms.
Proof of this matter is to a certain degree
available from the emails we have fielded at Antipas
since the election. While most have been positive, there
have been a few negative emails. Ironically, every one
of the negative emails touches on the subject of immorality
as their reason in voting for Bush. Here are a few excerpts:
Example One
“Just a note to let you know that many Christians
voted for Bush because Kerry was thought to be the least
moral represenitive candidate that had any chance of
winning. In no way does that mean we support a NWO nor
was it a Religious mandate. We believe that only Christ
will usher in the peace sought by most Christians...”
Example Two
“I recently visited endtimes.com for the first
time and I am very interested in your evaluation of
President Bush. I do believe however, that abortion
and gay marriage are wrong and I was curious to exactly
what your beliefs are on those subjects- Besides those
issues I would have voted for John Kerry- as I believe
so many would have done. Instead, I was so conflicted
I voted for noone! Please respond- who should I have
voted for -and if Kerry- what do we do with these issues
of abortion and gay marriage?”
Example Three
“What Christians voted against, is the left's
destruction of the moral fiber of this country and the
take over of the United States by the homosexual movement
and the secular humanists, which we have every right
to do. It's about time that Christians voted their convictions,
instead of handing the country over to the ungodly forces.
In addition, Christians went to vote for Mr Bush because
we know that he is pro America and anti United Nations,
that disgusting vile America hating body, blood sucking
body and we believe that he is going to fight the Islamic
terrorists wherever they are. I believe I can sleep
safely in my bed, knowing that I won't be beheaded any
time soon, as long as Bush is President of the U.S.A.
I would have no such feeling of safety with Bonesman
"Long Devel" Kerry at the helm. God is the
one who ultimately sets up the rulers over us. He is
the one in control of "the affairs of men".
So, like Nicodemus, I say if this is not from God, it
will come to nought. Your ministry does nothing but
bad mouth this country, and you should be ashamed of
yourselves. God set up this nation and regardless of
what the Illuminati and all the other secret groups
hooked in with them think they're doing, they can only
do what God allows them to do for his own purpose, which
purpose being the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to
this earth to rule and reign in righteousness.”
I realize I let that last one run on a
little longer than was relevant… but it was just
too juicy to cut off. Seriously though, those are the
sentiments of a HUGE number of Americans. Killing folks
in Iraq and Afghanistan (even women and children) doesn’t
qualify as immoral. Installing an interrogation system,
which makes ready use of sodomy and rape doesn’t
qualify as immoral. Lastly, building an economic/religious
system that quite literally demonizes the
poor and justifies their exploitation by the rich isn’t
immoral. It seems that to these people levels of immorality
are only measured by what takes place “in the
bedroom” so to speak. This is why Bush won. He
and Kerry are no different on those other issues…
there only difference was on the matter of immorality
related to sex and abortion.
In my replies to these folks what I tried
to make known, and what I’ll attempt to make known
here, is that by pointing out the sins of Bush we were
not endorsing the sins of Kerry. We also weren’t
trying to persuade anyone to vote for either one. Here
is the most “all encompassing” of the responses
I made… hopefully it will shed further understanding
on where we at Antipas are coming from:
“We too believe gay marriage
and abortion to be wrong... and we never counseled anyone
to vote for Kerry. Being that according to Christ and
His apostles, "our kingdom is not of this world"
then the no vote was probably the best vote. In reality
the choices were between immorality highlighted by killing
the unborn and abhorrent sexual practice or immorality
highlighted by slaughtering of people and stealing from
the poor to give to the rich. Not good choices on either
side. What is significant however, is that that Kerry
and his supporters never claimed to be servants of Christ
in their campaign... while Bush, his party, and his
supporters have gone to great lengths to portray themselves
as servants of Christ. It is because of this that God
will judge the latter harsher than the former.
As to the issue of gay marriage and
abortion, I am a believer that you cannot legislate
morality…
…The world, including the United
States, is under the dominion of Satan. This is why
gay marriage, abortion, and such things flourish. It
is not until the Second Coming that all these evils
of men will be swept away forever. Until that point
the servant of Christ should look to change the hearts
of men around him... not change the culture or laws
of a fallen nation in a fallen world.”
Changing the hearts of men is the primary
responsibility of the servant of Christ. This is done
by the testimony we are to have in Him… a testimony
given both by word and deed… and one that is always
in line with the commandments of Christ…. Foremost
of which is to love your neighbor as you love yourself….
There’s not much room for spectre-gunships in
that type of Christianity. Yet this isn’t the
type of Christianity that most Americans truly want.
Because this type of Christianity calls for meekness,
loving of enemies, and all that other stuff that doesn’t
get you ahead in the rat race. Since they can’t
embrace the real thing… they’ve embraced
a lie instead.
The route this lie takes you is straight
to the abyss itself. It takes you to a place where the
nation doesn’t even flinch when Donald
Rumsfeld says Iraq can, “can
learn from the recent history of El Salvador.”
Rumsfeld said this in respect to Iraq’s
path to Democracy, which he intimates will not be easy,
but that following the model of El Salvador they will
finally reach. El Salvador as a model for Iraq? US sponsored
death squads, indiscriminate murder and torture of civilians,
American Evangelical Christian involvement in the whole
affair, rigged elections, a US puppet regime and a country
that to this day lags behind the rest of the world in
human rights, economic development, and freedom of speech
are supposed to be the model for Iraq? I encourage everyone
to read our recent article on John
Negroponte’s involvement in El Salvador
(along with his new position in Iraq) and see the brutality
that took place (and is going to take place) and to
then tell me how El Salvador should be a model for anything…
especially anything to be promoted by a “Christian
nation.” Then tell me how Christians… who
elected the Rumsfeld’s boss… can keep a
straight face while passing themselves off as servants
of the Prince of Peace.
Lately we have all been made aware of
what is going on in Fallujah
and we have even learned of how Christianity has been
dragged even deeper in to that battle and the war in
Iraq as a whole. In all of this are the commandments
of Christ being carried out? I think not. What is being
practiced for the most part within the American Empire,
including its military, is a militant faith, which is
totally divorced from Christ’s commandments. It
is the type of faith where a Lt. Colonel in the military
has no problem telling reporters:
“The Marines that I have had
wounded over the past five months have been attacked
by a faceless enemy. But the enemy has got a face. He’s
called Satan...." In other words, Satan started
this conflict. And we -- the anti-Satan forces -- fully
intend to finish it by destroying him.”
Anti-Satan forces that are going to destroy
him (Satan)… That is how many within the US and
its soldiers are beginning to see their role in this
conflict. They see it as a conflict between Satan along
with his forces against God and his forces. In this
battle they see themselves as being blessed and ordained
by God to take up the sword to put down the enemy and
to destroy him. Theologically what they are doing is
divorcing themselves from the truth in Christ and instead
playing the role of the harlot, (i.e. the Woman) that
is to ride the Beast, (i.e. Babylon the Great), at the
end of the age. Terribly what they are also doing is
bringing about carnage on a horrific
scale in Iraq and soon to more nations
throughout the world. Even more terribly is that they
do it in the name of Christ.
November 9, 2004
The past few days have certainly been
very hectic… to say the least. With the Bush win
has come a flood of email response and quite a few kudos
to us for seeing where this was headed way back in 2003
when we decided to move the ministry to Canada. Thanks
to everyone for your support and for your prayers. It
is our sincere prayer that everyone takes serious heed
to the signs of the times.
In that vein let’s take a look at
recent news. Independent groups such as Bev Harris’
Blackboxvoting.org
are starting to piece a case together for massive fraud
in last week’s elections. There are two sides
to every story… and sadly both sides concerning
the election do not bode well for America. If fraud
on the scale hinted at did take place, then the fact
that Democrats and citizens at large are complicit enough
to remain silent about it says much about how far down
the road to dictatorship America has gone.
The other side to the story is that a huge majority
of those within the US who consider themselves to be
Christians voted for Bush, the Republican Party, and
in essence for their plans to remake the world. Remake
the world you say? Just what do you think the Project
For the New American Century’s up
to when they put out documents like Rebuilding
America’s Defenses, which was produced
in 1997? Were they conjured up out of thin air? Of course
not… and more importantly everything they’ve
done thus far was planned for in that document…
it is sort of like the evil cousin of the Mayflower
Compact.
It is happening my friends. America’s
leap into the abyss, one in which she will eventually
take the whole world along with her, has begun. Sadly,
especially insofar as our Savior is concerned is that
those who are leaders on this path to destruction are
doing so under the guise of being believers in Christ.
Middle America has been converted to the gospel of this
world, so too has the government. Now the very apparatus
that enforces America’s goals, the military, has
fallen prey to this cancerous form of Christianity,
which glorifies power at any cost… in this world.
Katherine Yurica has done extensive research on this
subject and she lays it out for all to see in her latest
article, Infiltrating
the U.S. Military: Gen. Boykin’s “Kingdom
Warriors” On the Road to Abu Ghraib and Beyond.
What she has uncovered is alarming…
in that it clearly paints a picture of a nation’s
military giving itself over to a type of Christianity,
which totally denigrates the commandments of Christ
and instead embraces a sort of Machiavellian, ‘the
ends justifies the means” type of faith. This
is a faith in which torture is not just permitted but
encouraged in the “proper” circumstances.
A faith in which military violence is sanctioned and
perpetrated by those claiming to be servants of Christ,
not as a means of self-defense, but of eliminating evil
from the earth. This is not just something affecting
a small segment of the armed forces, but instead one
in which soldiers currently in Iraq are embracing.
The idea of soldiers
praying to the Savior to give them success
in their operations in Fallujah (a city whose population
was 30% Christian when the war started), operations
that entail the type of urban warfare guaranteed to
produce massive "collateral damage" is chilling...
to say the least... in the same way that reading about
the atrocities of the Crusades were chilling as well.
I say this not to denigrate those who have been sent
over there on the orders of others… but to point
out that in times where one’s life is at risk,
it is natural… almost expected for many to search
out some kind of faith. Sadly, the religion being given
these guys in Iraq is not that of Christ and His Kingdom…
but one, which worships warfare, its nobility, and its
ability to deliver to Christ, a kingdom on earth.
Yet those of us who read the Bible with
a heart for the truth know that the kingdom being constructed
by George Bush and his America is not the kingdom of
Christ, but instead one for the man to be known as Antichrist.
That Kingdom, which the Bible calls greatest and most
terribly in all of man’s history is Babylon the
Great. Those who would serve this kingdom… whether
passively or actively… are to a very real degree
serving the kingdom of the one who is THE ENEMY OF THE
CROSS.
Recently there have been some serious
email discussions about what to do next. People are
worried about the draft and they are worried about how
much time they have before the last vestiges of freedom
are swept away in America and the Coming
Dictatorship becomes a reality. Reality
is also sinking in for them that serving in the military
of the Antichrist means one is actively serving the
