Welcome to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Today is Monday, October 02, 2006 and I am very happy to be bringing you today’s program.  I believe we have a pretty good broadcast on tap for everyone today.  I have just a few things I want to discuss on the program… and also… I am excited to let you know that Steve’s segment will be back on the program today.  That is right.  Our own S.R. Shearer is up and running again with his segment on the audio journal… and what we are going to do is pick up right where we left off with Part 2 in his series, NOW IS THE TIME TO DO SOMETHING; IT MAY BE TOO LATE TOMORROW.  This series is based on his original article of the same name… released back in September of 2003.

I think the message of the title alone is very apropos to all of our situations.  Now certainly IS the time to do something… now is the time to stand for the truth… now is the time to obey the Lord… and yes… now is the time… because it very well may be too late tomorrow.  I’ll get a little more into all of that later in the program… for now though… I want to let you know some of the other matters we’ll be discussing today.

We are going to spend a little more time talking about the situation between the US and Iran… the pending strikes the US has planned… what the outcome of this might be… and also the continuing reports that the US may well use nuclear weapons in their assault.  I also have some further developments to discuss regarding the growing American Police State… specifically the increasing powers that are being gathered into the hands of GW Bush… powers that essentially make the President above the Constitution and able to act as a full-fledged dictator.  Lastly… at least for my segment of the program… I want to talk about the mindset of those in the Church... specifically a mindset that leads people to decide just how much they are required obey and serve the Lord… by comparing their lives and decisions to those around them.

This might seem like something of a trivial thing… but there are much larger implications involved.  I’ll get into all the details of that later though… as I will also do with the other subjects.  Before we head in that direction however… I have a few preliminary comments to make.

I also want everyone to know that we were able to make it through the financial crisis, which hit us toward the end of last month.  Thanks to the generous support of a handful of people.  The position we are in now is one in which past due bills scheduled for cut-off have been dealt with… and we are up to date on our insurance and mortgage payment.  We still though… do have October’s bills to deal with… and a past due electric bill that is now close to the getting us in trouble.  I am bringing these things up because I truly want folks to remember us now… before we get in such a terrible straight again.

I realize that we are no different than most of you… living hand to mouth… and always on the edge insofar as finances are concerned.  What I want to do though… is assure everyone out there that we have our belts as tight as they can get… while still getting this message out to everyone.  Our only other solution is to radically change things up in a way that would entail doing away with the sort of effort we put forth on the website, the training, and other things.  I do not though… believe that this is what the Lord wants… I believe He does want this message out there in all the ways we are doing so.  In fact… I truly believe He wants us to take it even further.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was wrapping up my preliminary comments for today’s program… and with those matters being wrapped up let’s jump into today’s first topic.

The first thing I want to discuss today is the situation between the US and Iran.  For starters… this subject just will not go away will it?  Since 2003 there have been rumblings about the US taking the same sort of preemptive action against Iran that they have taken against Iraq… and over the course of time those rumblings have not abated… but have instead grown exponentially.

Things are now to the point that it appears the question is not “Will the US strike Iran?”… But instead “When is the US going to strike Iran?” And also how severe will the strikes be?  Are they trying to merely destroy Iran’s nuclear program or are they also trying to overthrow the leadership?  Heck… I guess one of the biggest questions to be asked is, “are they going to use nuclear weapons in the attack?”

Well… as the data keeps coming in… it appears all the more likely that this attack is going to take place sooner… much, much sooner… rather than later.  Seymour Hersh began writing about this reality a couple of years ago… and has continued to this present date.  Scott Ritter has also written on the same subject. Jorge Hirsch has written extensively on this subject… and so have Mike Whitney and Chris Floyd.

To one degree or another… these men are all highly-respected for their truth and accuracy in journalistic, governmental, and academic circles… and they all seem to be quite adamant in making the point the US is not only planning on attacking Iran at some murky point in the future… but the US already has concrete plans on the table… and is in fact already involved in special forces activities in Iran… and in many other ways is for the most part fully prepared to take the plunge on very short notice.

Well… I want to add to that by making mention of a very informative and sobering video clip I watched over the weekend.  It is over on the Information Clearinghouse Website and the article to which the video is attached is entitled: Attack on Iran Inevitable - Nuke Use in White House Plan.  The video is an interview with Col. Sam Gardiner… who is an expert analyst on the US military… and in the interview Gardiner brings further evidence to the table, which suggests that the US may possibly attack Iran as soon as this month… but also… that at the latest any attack will take place before the conclusion of the Bush presidency… Gardiner says though… that rather than expect an attack toward the end of the Bush Presidency… that he is about 90% sure the attack will take place in the next 3 to 4 months… since Mr. Bush feels that the powers he has accrued in the executive may never be replicated… and also that he has some sort of a calling to quote-unquote eliminate Iran as the “central banker of terrorism.” Much like Winston Churchill… Bush feels that though he may not be appreciated now… He is on the only acceptable course.

In addition to the video of the Gardiner interview… there is also a link to his report for the Century Foundation, entitled: The End of Summer Diplomacy.  This report serves as the basis of his comments in the interview… and I really encourage everyone out there to give it a read.  Gardiner is unemotional and truly bi-partisan in his assessment of what is going to happen over there… and his conclusion… as I alluded to earlier… is that the US is going to attack Iran… as soon as this month… and probably within the next 3 to 4 months.  He concludes the attack will be a gigantic air operation… that will take place in two stages.

The first stage will knock out the Iranian nuclear program and will probably include the US using at least one low-yield nuclear bunker buster against underground Iranian facilities.  This first stage will probably last about 5 nights and after that word will be sent to the Iranians that if they retaliate an escalation and widening of targets on the part of the US will commence.  Gardiner believes the Iranians will retaliate anyway… against Israel through Hezbollah, through Shiite militias against US troops in Iran… and against US forces in Afghanistan.  Gardiner also believes Iran may attack the assets of other Western allies in the region… in an attempt to paint the conflict as a West versus Islam battle… and if might interject… this is exactly what the US wants.

All in all… there is a ton of very good information in both the interview and the report… And I recommend that everyone out there check this information out.  Much of it has been stated before from other sources… but this is a powerful piece of collaboration to these previous reports from Hersh, Whitney and others.

I guess the first thing I want to talk about… based upon all this evidence… is the total disconnect from the Truth in Christ… that exists in the minds of those who think all of this is a good idea… necessary, or required.  Before I get into that though… let’s pause once again so we can listen to another message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was going over a recent report and interview with Sam Gardiner, which provides a great deal of insight and information as to just how things may play out between the US and Iran.  Well… without going over all of that stuff again… I want to now talk about how this all offers tremendous evidence of just how disconnected from the Truth in Christ are those who make these plans… and those who applaud them.

What I mean is this… and this is something I have said literally hundreds of times on these broadcasts.  The professing Christian leadership of the United States, George Bush and company… along with overwhelming support of the American Church… are planning to preemptively strike another Muslim nation in the Middle East.  They are planning to use nuclear weapons.  Potentially, hundreds of thousands will die… it is practically for sure that tens of thousands will.  Millions will suffer… and the threat of this thing erupting into a greater… regional war is very real.

Now remember… these are supposedly Christians who are pushing for all this.  These are Christians… who have spurned diplomacy… dealt treacherously in order to bring about this conflict.  These are professing Christians who claim… for all practical purposes… that it is God’s will that these things come to pass.

It is kind of funny… because when you look at the Church’s part in all of this… these are the same guys pushing the fantasy of the pre-tribulation rapture.  These are the same guys pushing the prosperity gospel.  These are the same guys… pushing the plan to take back America and the World for Christ.  These are the same guys who don’t see America as having a place in prophecy… but instead see Russia, the EU, or the UN as the bad guys.

These very same people… who push all these other lies… damnable lies that is… well… these very same people who claim to be servants of Christ… are the one’s that are not just salivating to bomb the Iranians back to the stone-age… but will also call you a traitor or a heretic should you choose to disagree with them.

What we are dealing with here my friends… is the most dangerous group of people that have ever existed… in all the history of the world.  They have more power at their disposal than any past group… they have more weapons at their disposal than any other nation… they have more wealth… and they have a lack of conscience never before witnessed.  Worse than that though… what they have done is link the name of Jesus Christ to their plan for riches, power, and world dominion.

They have attached the banner of the Prince of Peace… to their violence, their torture, their bombings, the theft, and the misery they spread throughout the world.  This my friends… is the most significant aspect at play insofar as the United States of America is concerned.  It is not so much that the US is engaged in evil deeds in spite of its Church… No the fact is all too clear that the US is engaged in evil deeds because of its Church.

It is the American Church… which serves as the backbone… the base of support for Elite plans relative to Iran… and all the oil riches of the Middle East.  The same holds true for their plans in Latin America and all throughout the world.  The same holds true for their plans to continue the deregulation and strangulation of the US economy.  The same holds true for the US tax system… which robs from the poor to pay the rich.

In all these facets and many more… it is the American Church, which is the enabler of evil… insofar as the US is concerned.  It is the American Church, which makes it all possible.  And we are not done yet…

There are more things on the horizon.  Over the past several years… to this date… here is a small sample of what has happened to individual liberties… courtesy of Timothy Gatto at www.opednews.com in an article entitled: The American Choice: Freedom or Fear.  Gatto wrote… and I quote:

“This President, deciding to do away with the writ of "habeas corpus" as pertains to the so-called "terrorists". In doing so, Bush will forever hide the truth. Were they all in fact "terrorists", or were some of them just people that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? We will never know. He didn't just "suspend" habeas corpus for these people,... he did away with it. In case you don't know what that term means, and you are too embarrassed to ask, it means that people holding another human being, must charge that person with a crime in order to hold them. It gives us those annoying little things that take up so much time, like trials and getting evidence and proving that somebody did indeed break a law. I guess Mr. Bush doesn't want to go through all of that trouble, and he will then just hold them for as long as they wish, because somebody decided that they "might" have done something wrong. Mr. Bush is, after all, the decider of everything. Before you chuckle at that last statement, I'm not just playing with words. I am cold stone serious. The fact of the matter is, he could arrest you or me and we could disappear forever without anyone having the knowledge of where we disappeared too...

...We have abrogated the Geneva Convention, thrown out habeas corpus, turned our back on the Magna Charta, what is next? (The President) has already made attacks on our Constitution, pushing for warrant-less wiretaps of telephone calls, even when Congress had already given him the authority to wiretap anyone as long as he turned his request into the secret FISA court 72 hours AFTER the fact. He doesn't even want to have to do that! He wants the authority to do it without clearing it through anyone! This is the "Unitary Power" of the President.

And once again… on all these matters… whether we are talking about the suspension of habeas corpus, wire-tapping, attacking the Constitution… or whatever… it is the American Church, which serves as the primary base of support.  It is the American Church, which leads the charge to remake America into the image of a dictatorial police state.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about how the largest part of the blame for what the US has become… for the unjust wars… the indiscriminate killing… the stripping away of freedoms… well…when all is said done… there is no one to blame here… except for the American Church.

After all the rich and powerful can only be expected to become corrupted by their riches… turned amoral by their power… it is the nature of man… that he succumbs to such temptations.  Yet the Church… the body of Christ is and was called to so much more.  Because of this it is imperative that a clear distinction be made.  Because of this it is necessary that a particular message be preached.

I am in general talking about the message of truth… but I am also talking specifically about a message, which stands against the actions being perpetrated in the name of Christ… a testimony against the blasphemy uttered in His Name… in opposition to the hellish direction, which has been embarked upon by the American Church.

We must bear this testimony… each and every one of us.  There are no exceptions… and there are no excuses.  Your quarrel here… should you have one… is with the Lord… it is not with me.

You see… this is the heart of the matter.  So many… even those who in one way or another are in agreement with us… are too busy looking for ways to give their own selves a pass.  They are looking for ways to rationalize their failure to testify… or their failure to obey the commandments of God… by pointing out the failure of others.

What I mean is this… people will say… well I may not be doing such and such… which you say I should do… but you are not doing such and such… so that means I get a pass for my lack of obedience.  This is all such nonsense.  We will all stand before the judgment seats as individuals.  We will all be judged according to OUR OWN actions… or inactions… our own obedience or disobedience.  There is no sliding scale involved.  There is no Bell Curve in all of this.

Regardless of what I say or do… you are required to obey and serve the Lord… and vice versa.  Now let me be clear… the blood of Christ cleanses us of all our sins.  His Grace covers all of our unworthiness… yet what I am saying… is that those who love Him with all their heart are going to be led to obey Him… and conversely… those who refuse to obey Him are those who ultimately will show themselves to have not loved Him with all their heart.

Sometimes walking in obedience is difficult… sometimes you end up taking two steps forward and one step back… sometimes it takes a while to accomplish that which He has commanded you to do… the point here is that obedience begins in the heart… and it is confirmed in the mind… it is professed with the mouth… and it leads one to take action… action which will ultimately place you in the position of being that good and acceptable servant the Lord desires.

This is true whether we are talking about bearing His testimony… forsaking our own lives for His sake… fleeing Babylon the Great… and all other things.  We are all accountable as individuals here and the responsibility to act in accordance lies upon us as well.

Today we have covered the fact that the US is soon to embark upon another preemptive war against Iran… a war that will cause a tremendous amount of death and destruction.  We have covered the fact that the freedoms most Americans have always taken for granted are being rapidly stripped away.  The combination of this coming war will not decelerate this process… instead… it will accelerate it.

Now more than ever is the time for obedience.  Now more than ever is the time to bear the testimony of truth.  The price may be great today… but it will be all the more great in the days ahead.  S.R. Shearer’s segment on today’s show is part 2 of his series, NOW IS THE TIME TO DO SOMETHING; IT MAY BE TOO LATE TOMORROW… and those are the words I choose to wrap up this segment on today’s journal… Now is the time to do something; it may be too late tomorrow.

Hello this is Antipas Audio Journal and I am Sean Mayfield.  I want to welcome everyone to today’s program… the Monday, September 25, 2006 edition that is… and I am really excited to be bringing this program to you today.  I have a few topics to discuss… ranging from Hugo Chavez's speech at the United Nations last week to an update on the whole concept of Fortress America… and I also plan to talk a little about the situation between the US and Iran.

Who knows… along the way we might cover some other things… but we’ll just have to see how things turn out… insofar as that is concerned.  Also… I am sad to say that we are still unable to include Steve’s segment on today’s program… though I really do promise that we are going to get that part of the show back up and running as soon as is possible.

Now before I get started in earnest today… I want to make a couple of brief comments.  For starters… I want to thank everyone out there who has reached out to the ministry lately.  I thank those who have called or emailed me expressing their support, care, and concern for all of us here… And I also want to thank those who have given to this ministry during this time.  Over the past couple of weeks I made known some of the difficulties we have been up against and some of the needs we needed to meet.  Well… I am truly humbled by those who have stepped up to bat… so to speak… and I do want to encourage even more of you to help us now when we need it most.

We are almost able to square ourselves away for this month… and I just have to trust that the Lord will touch a few hearts out there to fill these needs.  Hey… like I said earlier though… more than that… I am oh so thankful for those who have already risen up to send assistance our way.  Thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Also… I wanted to sort of update everyone out there on the training program we are offering here at Antipas Ministries.  We made some changes to the program over the past few weeks… in that we essentially removed the information as something accessible to the general public.  In the new setup folks are going to have to actually register to go through the training… which I assure you is not a bad thing.  And thankfully… it hasn’t been taken that way either.  Several more people have signed up lately… and I guess I am bringing all of this up to encourage some of you out there… who may be interested in all of this… to go ahead and sign up yourself.

Alright… with those general announcements out of the way let’s go ahead and get moving on the subject I want to discuss today.  The first thing I want to talk about are the remarks made by Venezuela President, Hugo Chavez, last week at the United Nations.  Chavez made his speech to the General Assembly on the 20^th… after G.W. Bush and other world leaders held court earlier in the week.  Well… to backtrack a little… during Bush’s speech he essentially laid out all the same sentiments he always does… We are fighting evil… we must not back down…. We must be prepared to fight even more evil… free trade American-style capitalism is the path to freedom and prosperity… yada, yada, yada…

Well… it seems Mr. Chavez was not buying what George Bush was selling… and who can blame him?  I mean the US has already attempted to have Chavez removed from office on multiple occasions over the past few years… they have identified Venezuela as a potential terrorist state… and anyone who believes the CIA would not put a bullet in Chavez’s head were they to think they could get away with it is only deluded themselves.

So like I said… Chavez definitely is not buying what Bush is selling… and in one of the most remarkable… if only for its candor… speeches in the history of the UN… Chavez let the world know in no uncertain terms just where he stands on the matter.  I want to share some excerpts from the speech, which iterate this point… so here we go… I am going to jump around a bit… but all the following are quotes from the Chavez speech:

“The hegemonic pretensions of the American empire are placing at risk the very survival of the human species. We continue to warn you about this danger and we appeal to the people of the United States and the world to halt this threat, which is like a sword hanging over our heads…”

“…The devil is right at home. The devil, the devil himself, is right in the house.

"And the devil came here yesterday. Yesterday the devil came here. Right here." [crosses himself] "And it smells of sulfur still today.

Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, from this rostrum, the president of the United States, the gentleman to whom I refer as the devil, came here, talking as if he owned the world. Truly. As the owner of the world.

I think we could call a psychiatrist to analyze yesterday's statement made by the president of the United States. As the spokesman of imperialism, he came to share his nostrums, to try to preserve the current pattern of domination, exploitation and pillage of the peoples of the world.

An Alfred Hitchcock movie could use it as a scenario. I would even propose a title: ‘The Devil's Recipe.’…”

And speaking further of the US and President Bush… Chavez later says… and I quote:

“They say they want to impose a democratic model. But that's their democratic model. It's the false democracy of elites, and, I would say, a very original democracy that's imposed by weapons and bombs and firing weapons.

What a strange democracy. Aristotle might not recognize it or others who are at the root of democracy.

What type of democracy do you impose with marines and bombs?

The president of the United States, yesterday, said to us, right here, in this room, and I'm quoting, "Anywhere you look, you hear extremists telling you can escape from poverty and recover your dignity through violence, terror and martyrdom."

Wherever he looks, he sees extremists. And you, my brother -- he looks at your color, and he says, oh, there's an extremist. Evo Morales, the worthy president of Bolivia, looks like an extremist to him.

The imperialists see extremists everywhere. It's not that we are extremists. It's that the world is waking up. It's waking up all over. And people are standing up.

I have the feeling, dear world dictator, that you are going to live the rest of your days as a nightmare because the rest of us are standing up, all those who are rising up against American imperialism, who are shouting for equality, for respect, for the sovereignty of nations.

Yes, you can call us extremists, but we are rising up against the empire, against the model of domination.”

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am you host… Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was sharing some incredible excerpts from the speech Hugo Chavez gave to the UN General Assembly last week.  In the speech Chavez called George W. Bush the Devil… and even crossed himself while saying it.  He also essentially called Bush and the US out as working exclusively toward the further, “domination, exploitation and pillage of the peoples of the world”.

Hey… at this point I guess I will come out and say it… by and large everything Chavez said about the US is absolutely correct.  I am not shocked by what he said… nor do I really disagree with him.  I guess what was shocking to me was that Chavez had the guts to lay things out as he did before the whole world… and right there in New York City… to boot.

The only thing that is sad to me… is that I do not hold out a tremendous amount of hope that Chavez will achieve ultimate success in his attempts to thwart US efforts toward hegemony… and even those efforts to remove him from power in Venezuela.  The US has a long and brutal history of resorting to genocide, assassination, torture, and a myriad of other detestable practices to keep only those national leaders willing to lick Uncle Sam’s boots around.

And especially… when I look at what the future may hold in respect to what the Bible says… I certainly feel that there will come a day in the future when Chavez will be undone by the US… even if it means they have to actually go to war against Venezuela.  In the interim though… I am certainly very thankful that Chavez had this opportunity to tell the truth about what Bush and the US Elite are up to… and that is one thing he did.  He was very distinct about the fact that his indictment was toward these people… and not the average American.  Once again though… I am glad the truth he shared has been put out there… and find it a little ironic that this man… who is constantly demonized and belittled in the Western Press… spoke words much more akin to God’s Truth and much more in line with the message we preach… than anything that has ever come out of the mouth of America’s professing Christian President.

Alrighty then… enough about that… for now at least.  Because at this point I want to move on into the next topic of discussion for today… and that topic is the concept of Fortress America… or in other words… the idea that the US is indeed moving toward become some sort of Gulag-State in which the land of the free is becoming the land of the policed.

Well check out this little nugget I ran across on the MarketWatch.com website… which relates to a huge new contract Boeing received from Homeland Security.  The Market Watch release says… and I quote:

“Boeing-led group reportedly wins U.S. border-security pact

Last Update: 6:26 AM ET Sep 20, 2006

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Boeing Co. has emerged as the winner of a federal contract to provide infrastructure and monitoring systems aimed at bolstering U.S. border security, the Washington Post reported. Citing congressional sources, the Post said the contract's valued at about $2.5 billion over four years. Subcontractor participants in Boeing's bid include L-3 Communications and Unisys Corp., the report said. Boeing's proposal centers around the construction of 1,800 towers to be built along the borders with Mexico and Canada, equipped with a variety of sensors, cameras and motion detectors. The Department of Homeland Security is expected to formally announce the contract on Thursday, the Post said.”

Now did everyone catch that?  The US government is contracting Boeing and others to build 1800 towers along the US borders with Mexico and Canada.  Now the US shares 1,951 miles of border with Mexico… and it shares roughly 4000 miles of border with Canada.  So what this means is roughly every 3 and a third miles along the border there will be a big tower with sensors, camera, and Lord knows what else.  I guess the question is which way all that stuff will be pointing.  Will it be used to keep people out of the US?  Or will it be used to keep them in?

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host… Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about the fact that the US plans to build 1800 security towers spaced roughly spaced out about three miles apart on its borders with Canada and Mexico.  Man… this seems like something out of an Orwell book… it seems like something out of one of those futuristic films about a fantasy fascist police-state America… except this isn’t a book, it isn’t a movie… and sadly it is not a fantasy.

This is reality my friends… and regardless of how the good folks at the Department of Homeland Security want to spin it… what they are doing is building a cage around Americans.  The pretext might be to keep the evil-doers and illegal aliens out… but the reality is that cages are constructed to secure the contents inside… not vice versa.

So what we have is a situation that appears to be a giant step toward what can only be described as a complete lock down for Americans.  Thankfully… due to waste, graft, mismanagement, and all the assorted Halliburton-esque happenings on these sorts of big projects… it will no doubt take a long time for them to get these towers built… but hey… the point is that they are building them.  The point is that stuff like this is now handled in the realm of bureaucracy and off the radar.  And what I mean here is that no one got to vote on such an extreme measure… or at least if they did… they certainly didn’t let their constituents know they were planning to build surveillance towers to encircle Americans at their borders.

This is crazy stuff… and like I said earlier… it ought to make it clear to everyone… that the move now is toward lockdown.  I don’t know how fast we’ll get there… but that is definitely where we are headed.

And to make matters worse… there are still other things out there, which could potentially exacerbate this trend.  Take for instance the prospect of a US War against Iran and Syria… for instance.  This thing appears to be something that IS going to happen… regardless of how wrong you or I think it to be.  And when this happens… isn’t it logical that they will step up the already extreme security measures being used against US citizens by their own government?  Isn’t also logical to conclude should there be some sort of conjured up terrorist strike against the US… in the context of providing a covering to hit Iran… or whatever… but isn’t logical to assume that should this happen they will really ramp up their Gestapo tactics?

Sure… I think these are very, very reasonable conclusions to draw… and to go back to the Chavez thing… because I think he is right.  The US is the Imperial Hegemon of this present world.  And so long as they can herd the cattle without resorting to extremities… they will… but once things get to the point to where more than opaque fear and intimidation are required… heads will start rolling at that… and the lock down will no doubt… begin in earnest.

What is truly sad about all of this… is that even at this late date… there are a great number of Americans who want no part of this.  Some of them are even listening to this message right now.  I know there are people out there who are just as offended as I am by what Bush and all these other buffoons are trying to pass off as Christianity.  I know there are others out there who are just as appalled as I am that these guys are attaching the name of Christ to their wars, their torture chambers, and all the misery they are spreading throughout the globe.  And I also know there are others out there who are horrified that the US is rapidly becoming a police state… and that they are facing the prospect of becoming caged in and constantly monitored… like some sort of animal.

I know this… and what I want to do now is offer a bit of encouragement.  I want people to know… that the Lord will not forsake His children… He will not abandon those who love Him… and whose hearts desire is to serve Him.  He just will not do it.

Yet I also know this… He has given all of us this information… the truth about His Son… the truth about the Kingdom in which we live as opposed to the Kingdom to Come… well…. He has given us this truth so that WE CAN SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS… FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOPS… AND FROM THE VALLEYS.  He has given is this truth… not for silent contemplation and meditation… but so that we can share it with all around us.

Now I also want to be very clear here… God’s Word is very straight on the fact that those who love Him and reside within Babylon the Great… i.e. the United States of America… well God is very clear on the fact that His children are to COME OUT of that nation… as it says in Revelation 18:4.  And I want everyone to understand that.

What I also want folks to understand though… is that regardless of where you are at this present moment… the call to speak the truth is now.  Because you love the Lord… you love the Truth… hey… Jesus Christ is the Truth… well you speak the truth now because of this fact… first and foremost… but you also speak it because this is how you get to where the Lord is leading you.  And in saying that I am inferring the prospect of getting out of the US as well.

You have to stand for the truth NOW…  I was talking last night with someone about what is going to happen to those who remain within the US.  And what I said is essentially this… People who remain behind are not going to be magically transformed from good Christians to evil servants of the antichrist over night… no indeed.

What is going to happen is that people are going to make a progression of decisions… a plethora of compromises upon the truth…. They will remain silent in the face of apostasy… hoping to ride it out… stay below the radar… hold on to what they got… and each step along this path is one, which will lead folks further and further away from Christ… away from the truth… Until one day… like the scriptures say… they will be found as having betrayed their Savior… to such a degree that judgment is all which remains.

Like I said though… the thing to do NOW… is to testify on behalf of the truth… regardless of the price that comes with it.  You see… I really do believe that in doing so… you will be led to get of Babylon… and greater than that… as it were… you will also find yourself firmly in the presence of the Lord… Because let’s face it… He is out there in the fields… He is out there on the streets… He is on the front line of the battle… so if we want to be with Him… then that is where WE need to be.

Alright then… listen… I have rambled on for long enough today… so I am going to go ahead and wrap this thing up.  Before I shut it down though… I want to play one more brief message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries… and then leave you with a presentation of the true Gospel Message from all of us here.  So until next time… God Bless You All.

Hello to everyone… this is Sean Mayfield and you are listening to the Antipas Audio Journal.  It is Monday, September 18, 2006 and I am oh so glad to be bringing you this broadcast.  I had planned on doing this show on Friday of last week… but decided to push things back because of some other events going on… and I must say that I am glad to have done this because there are a few things that I really want to talk about, which did not come to my attention until this past weekend.

I want to discuss some remarks US President George W. Bush made to conservative journalists… remarks, which shed an incredible amount of light into the direction in which the US is headed.  I also want to show how so much of this… in other words the rhetoric Bush calls upon to paint the present US conflicts as some sort of a holy war… well I want to show how this rhetoric is merely the veil… or maybe the prayer shawl… meant to mask what is truly an imperial agenda of conquest and dominion… meant to be extended over the whole of the earth… and most especially the Middle East.

In addition to these matters… I am not quite certain what else we will discuss today… but I am sure these starting points will lead us into other things.  Also… I am sorry to say that we are still unable to bring Steve Shearer’s segment back to the program… but I promise that as soon as we are capable of doing this it will be back up and running.

This has been a very tough month for us.  As I said earlier last week… we have had to contend with health issues, immigration issues, and legal issues this month.  The whole thing has been extremely taxing… terribly disjointing… and we are certainly in helter-skelter mode at the moment here at Antipas Ministries.  Combined with all these travails is that we are facing some very serious financial difficulties within the next ten or so days…and to be blunt… support from you… our listeners and readers… just has not been there.  Absent a gift from one particular brother, which I had to ask him for… there has only been about $75 sent in to the ministry over the past two weeks… If this situation does not change… and change soon… well, I don’t know what is going to happen.

I firmly believe all this to be in the Lord’s hands… but I also firmly believe that financial support is not going to rain down from the heavens… it is gong to have to come from YOU… the people who believe in this message… the people who stand with us in this truth… those who spiritually benefit from our labor of love.  So I guess what I am asking is that those of you who fall in this category please step up to the occasion here.

Now I also realize that many of you get tired of me and Steve talking about this subject… and writing about this subject… but we have placed ourselves in the position to do this thing full-time… we have placed ourselves in the position of trying to train folks up in this message… of even trying to provide a place for people in times past… this is not just some hobby for us… it is not something we have taken on in moonlighting-style… No we have quite literally sold ourselves out for this message… which God has placed upon our hearts.

Maybe not the best move huh?  At least that is what the world would say… but in the Lord I truly do have faith that the support will be there… even though there can be no doubt we are up against the wall at this present time.  So to wrap my thoughts up on this matter… I once again just ask that those of you out there who stand with us… help us now… when we need it most.  I apologize for broaching this uncomfortable subject… and believe me it is uncomfortable on my part as well… but if you are so led to support us… then just click on the Support link… which can be found on the top menu of our homepage at www.antipasministries.com.

And with that being said… let’s go ahead and move on into the heart of the matter… insofar as today’s program is concerned.  To begin with… I want to discuss some remarks George Bush made a few days ago… regarding what he sees as a "Third Awakening" of religious devotion in the United States that has coincided with the nation's struggle with international terrorists, a war that he depicted as "a confrontation between good and evil."  And that quote comes from an article in last Wednesday’s Washington Times.

The Times article goes on to quote Bush as saying:

"A lot of people in America see this as a confrontation between good and evil, including me," Bush said during a 1 1/2 -hour Oval Office conversation on cultural changes and a battle with terrorists that he sees lasting decades. "There was a stark change between the culture of the '50s and the '60s -- boom -- and I think there's change happening here," he added. "It seems to me that there's a Third Awakening."

So in essence… what the President of the US is saying is that this present conflict between good and evil… in other words between the Christian US and the evil doers of the Muslim World… is leading to another stark change within America another spiritual awakening.

Now for those not familiar with that term… most historians agree there were two past periods of great spiritual revival within American culture… the first taking place during colonial days in the mid-1700’s and the second occurring during the early 1800’s.  And you see… it is from this historical perspective that so many on the religious right attempt to paint the creation and early history of the US as being that of being an overtly Christian nation.

Well… without getting into all the realities concerning the past history of the US… what I want to discuss is the ramifications of George W. Bush making such remarks in the year 2006… as the US is engaged in a world-wide war against what is essentially the whole of the Islamic World… yet before I get into all this… let’s pause so we can listen to a brief message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  Before the break I was talking about recent remarks by George Bush… in which he stated that the present actions of the US to combat their enemies in the Muslim world are in reality… a conflict between good and evil… in other words between the Christian US and the evil doers of the Muslim World… and he also said that all of this is leading to another stark change within America another spiritual awakening… in fact… in the direct quote he calls it a Third Awakening.

More than anything else I see all of this as just another way to use Christianity as a covering for the civilians being massacred, those being tortured, and all the pain and suffering taking place due to what can only be described as the US conquest of the entire Middle East.  By linking this thing as some sort of a battle between good and evil… and remarking upon how the good people of the US who support this war are turning more and more to God… in some sort of Spiritual Awakening… or national revival… well in taking things in this direction Bush is seeking to further increase the union between America’s apostate version of Christianity… and the beastly state, which he and his Elite cohorts control.

These guys must have a covering for their actions… they must have a way to keep the people in line… they must have justification among the masses for all that is on their agenda… and the best way for them to accomplish this is to essentially from this whole affair as some sort of holy war… and also… to link the success and ability of the US to quote-unquote stay the course… to the evidence of Spiritual Awakening among the US populace.

Quite a nifty trick I must say… and one, which the pew-sitters within the US will no doubt rally behind.  Yet the question that begs to be asked… is just what sort of spiritual awakening are we talking about here?  I mean… Bush’s language on this matter eerily mirrors all the predictions the false prophets of the American Church have made of some sort of national revival within American Christendom… and later the world.

This is the very sort of thing, which the Promise Keeper set… and the followers of people like C. Peter Wagner, Rick Joyner, Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch, Tommy Tenny, and Ted Haggard have been predicting was going to happen in America for years.  These guys have been talking about a revival of such grand scale that the whole culture within the US would be remade… and afterwards… this renewed nation would take the message to the four corners of the world.

So once again… seeing that Bush is tapping directly into this sort of thing… maybe we ought to examine just what kind of revival… or spiritual awakening these folks have in mind.  So let us begin… and for starters… let us look at the introduction to an article our own S.R. Shearer wrote back in March of 2005, entitled: The God Men of America’s New World Order System.  In that article… concerning the sort of quote-unquote Christianity these guys are pushing… in relation to this spiritual awakening Bush is speaking of… Steve wrote… and I quote:

“What we today call "Christianity" in the United States is NOT Christianity at all; it is in fact the antithesis of everything for which Christianity stands; indeed, it bears a striking and very foreboding resemblance to the "religion" that animated Hitler's Third Reich - and so much so that IF CHRISTIANS IN AMERICA WERE TO LOOK AT THEMSELVES IN THE MIRROR, WHAT THEY MIGHT FIND GAZING BACK AT THEM ARE THE GHOSTS OF ADOLF HITLER AND HEINRICH HIMMLER.

The very real fact of the matter is, the "prophets" and "apostles" of America's New World Order System - "seers" and "diviners" like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Bennie Hinn, Paul Crouch, Ted Haggert, C. Peter Wagner, Paul Cain, etc. - are harnessing the very same preternatural and aberrant spiritual forces to create their new world order system that the theoreticians of Hitler's Third Reich used for Hitler's "Millennial Kingdom" - miserable, wretched pseudo-intellectuals and spiritualists like Arthur Schopenhauer, Friedrich Nietsche, Guido von List, Jorge Lanz von Liebbenfels, George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Rudolf von Sebottendorff, Houston Stewart Chamberlain, etc.”

Now do you see what Steve is saying here?  The Christianity, which is being pushed most forcefully throughout the American populace is indeed… not Christianity at all… but instead… as Shearer writes… the antithesis of Christianity.  It is very much a false religion that is being constructed in order to serve the interests of Bush and the Elite… whose desire is to build their own Millennial Kingdom through the might of the US military.

This religion has nothing to do with the truth in Christ… and in fact is in every single capacity an enemy to this truth… yet it is the one to which the Elite appear to have hitched their wagons.  And why?  Because it is a ready made vehicle meant to provide covering and justification to their dreams of empire.  Back when the whole war on terror thing was first starting… these religious leaders were the first ones to blur the line between the spiritual war they see being waged between good and evil… with the actual war between good and evil, which Bush and his allies wanted to bring to the world.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am you host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about the fact that the religious vehicle through which President Bush and others are predicting revival and spiritual awakening for America has nothing to do with the truth in Christ… but is instead one meant to provide covering and justification for the ravages of imperial conquest.  Way back shortly after 9-11… super apostle of the apostate Church C. Peter Wagner… laid out the agenda quite clearly in a letter he wrote for his followers and underlings.  Here is what Wagner said… and I quote:

"The United States and the world are attempting to emerge from a history-altering catastrophe (by which Wagner means the destruction of the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001 by al-Qaida). President Bush used well-chosen (and appropriate) language when he characterized this conflagration as a conflict between good and evil ... For the first time in 50 years our nation is now unified, in heart and in voice, READY TO SHIFT FROM AN ERA OF PEACE TO AN ERA OF WAR."

And later in the same piece he writes:

"We have enemies in both the visible world and the invisible world, and, ultimately, our enemies in the invisible world, under Satan as their Commander-in-Chief, influence our natural enemies such as the hijackers who commandeered the commercial jets which inflicted unthinkable destruction on our nation."

"We must keep in mind that there are two important and interconnecting worlds, the visible world of the natural world and the invisible world of the spiritual world. God has established governments to set policies and execute strategies in the visible world. He has established the church to do likewise in the invisible world. When war comes, as it now has, God will accomplish His will both through governments and the church if the respective leaders will seek Him, hear Him accurately, and obey Him."

"It is our responsibility, as church leaders, to use the authority that God has delegated to us and to conquer the invisible forces of darkness ... THIS IS WHAT OPENS THE WAY FOR OUR GOVERNMENT LEADERS (i.e., Bush et. al.) TO MAKE GODLY DECISIONS IN THE NATURAL REALM."

"In God's providence, things have now changed in Washington. THE ELECTION OF 2000 (which brought George Bush to power) WAS A VITAL SPIRITUAL VICTORY FOR OUR NATION ... (TODAY) WE HAVE LEADERS WHO DESIRE A DIVINE CONNECTION BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH ... If our government leaders ... are to implement God's purpose here on earth, the church must be equally ready to move into a wartime stance and go on the offensive ... It is time to go to battle in the invisible world ..."

Now after going through all of this… do you not see why this sort of Christianity… is a ready-made vehicle for the imperial agenda Bush and the Elite have for the world?  Whether or not you have ever heard of him… Wagner is one of the most powerful men in the American Church… especially in the pseudo-charismatic circles that have moved to the forefront of American Christianity… and his doctrine… his vision… is one in which the Church has moved to a war footing… it has shifted from an era of peace to an era of war… so that they might spiritually pave the way for the worldly victories required for the US to attain its goal of hegemony.

And you see… there is even more involved here… because what Bush is also drawing upon… in making his comments about spiritual awakening… is a sentiment within this strain of religion in which success or failure is directly tied to the moral purity, spirituality, and righteousness of the people engaged in the struggle.  In other words… what Bush is hitting at in a coded way… is that the failures of the US in Afghanistan and Iraq are not the fault of those who brought us into this mess… but those of an American people who have yet to get with the program insofar as embracing this spiritual awakening is concerned.

Now I want to go back to Steve’s article, The God Men of America’s New World Order System… because he writes about this very subject as well.  Concerning the idea that this spiritual awakening is necessary in order to purify America for the present conflict and the wars to come… well concerning this idea… Shearer equates it once again to the very sort of pseudo-Christianity embraced by Hitler’s Third Reich.  Specifically… Shearer writes… and I quote:

“The answer is that both the Nazis and the adherents of today's "New Christianity" link "civilization success" to individual purity within a given society - what Carolly Erickson of the University of California at Santa Barbara calls the "MIRACULOUS POWER OF SANCTITY." Inherent in this kind of thinking is the notion that disaster and failure are the results of sin. It is the personal lesson of Perceval, Lancelot, and Tristan in the Arthurian legends applied to an entire society - and it is this kind of thinking which so intrigued Richard Wagner in Lohengrin, Tristan and Isolde, Parsifal - and even Gotterdammerung and Die Walkure - operas that enchanted and bewitched Adolf Hitler.

The late Rouses John (R.J.) Rushdoony, one of the leading "prophets" of the "New Christianity" of America's New World Order System, made the same linkage between "civilization failure" and individual purity in a community of believers that Wagner did.

Rushdoony believed that it is the primary responsibility of government to maintain godly purity within a society; he believed that because American Christians had allowed their government to be usurped by atheists and humanists, the role of government and the institutions of Western Christendom had become perverted; he held - as a result - that America would experience God’s judgment if the situation was not quickly rectified. Moreover - and this is very important - not only would the atheists and humanists be judged, but believers who had allowed this to happen would also likewise experience God’s wrath. The penalty would fall on believers as well - mirroring in a very real way the severe code of conduct for the SS: "The SS man who fails in his office [or whose morality is brought into question] will not thereby merely be deprived of an office, but he personally, together with his family, his wife, and his children, will be destroyed."

It was the responsibility of the church's leadership, therefore, to place the church at the forefront of political and social action to take back the reins of government from the hands of the ungodly - and it is precisely this kind of thinking that has spurred Christians over the last twenty years to action to "take back the country for Christ and the church," an effort that culminated finally in the election of George Bush to the presidency. BUT, AGAIN, THIS IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF THINKING - the kind that links individual purity to national greatness - THAT UNDERGIRDED THE NAZI PARTY AND THE DEVOTEES OF ADOLF HITLER, and Christians who believe otherwise are only kidding themselves. The truth is, IT'S PROBABLY NOT SO MUCH THE WHISPERING OF ANGELS THAT ONE CAN HEAR IN AMERICA'S "NEW CHRISTIANITY" AS IT IS THE SHRIEKING OF WAGNER'S VALKYRIES BESTIRRING THEMSELVES TO TAKE FLIGHT AGAIN, THIS TIME IN THE SERVICE OF THE AMERICAN NEW WORLD ORDER SYSTEM.”

Now as I always I want to ask if you see what I am getting at by piecing all of this together?  The awakening George Bush claims to be seeing across America is one that is tapped into the same sort of belief system remarked upon in the quotes from Steve’s article.  These guys see a revival or awakening in which the impure… the immoral… and the unrighteous within America will be stamped out.  The belief that once the moral purity of America is secured the greatest successes will be won in the present war against evil.  They believe… the American Church is the vehicle through which this awakening will spread… and they believe the Church should not only engage in a spiritual battle against evil… but that it must also serve and equip the godly American State in its literal battle against the evil doers of the world… i.e. the Muslim world for starters… and eventually all of us who refuse to bow down to their satanic vision of the world, Christ, and His Church.

This is what we are dealing with my friends… and quite obviously… it is very serious business.  Hey listen… I only have a few more comments to share before we wrap this up for today… but before I continue… let’s pause so we can listen to another message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

This spiritual awakening has nothing to do with the truth in Christ… but is instead something much more similar to the same sort of spiritual movement used to undergird and provide covering to the imperial ambitions of Hitler’s Third Reich… it is a sort of pseudo-spirituality… which will serve to push the US further along the path to theocracy… and it is one which will serve to heighten the efforts of the religious right to stamp out moral impurity within the US culture.  What it has also done is provide an excuse for Bush and the Right… to explain all the problems that have been encountered in the war against the evil doers of the Muslim World.

To go over this again… what I am saying is that the rationale here is that Bush, the Elite, the Pentagon, Rumsfeld, etc… are not to blame for the failures experienced thus far… no instead the blame is to be placed on those who resist this spiritual awakening… those who reject the apostate church’s version of the truth… those who refuse to support their wars… and their attempts to remake America.

And finally… the reason Bush and the Elite embrace this concept of spiritual awakening… or revival… is because it is an incredible tool of manipulation to be used in their dreams of securing dominion over the riches of the world.  As I quoted from C. Peter Wagner earlier… the American Church… who is responsible for this awakening… is one that is a willing participant in the war against evil, Bush and company have declared.  They desire this war just as much as the Elite do… and they will serve their masters faithfully in this regard until the bitter end.

These guys are perfect partners for each other… and I really do believe that what we are witnessing here is the further cementing of the relationship between the Woman, i.e. the American Church… and the Beast… the American State.

This awakening is not one in truth… but essentially a false revival meant to further deliver the country and eventually the world into the arms of the man of sin… all we have to do is look at the product they are pushing here… war, torture, poverty, pain, suffering, witch-hunting, demonizing, scapegoating, and destruction of all enemies in both the spiritual and material world.  In all honesty… this has nothing to do with Christ… it has nothing to do with the truth… and it is humbly my prayer… that each and every one of you out there… get as far away from all of this as you can… as soon as you can.

So with that said I will wrap things up for today… and in closing I just want to once again encourage… no not encourage… I really am making a plea… for those of you out there who stand with us and believe this message to send some help our way.  I spoke earlier of how much of a spot we are in now… so I pray that at least a few of you will answer the call here.

Welcome to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Today is of course… September 11, 2006… the 5^th anniversary of the one of the most significant historical events in both US… and world history.  Now I realize that is a pretty hefty statement, but seriously… whether or not you believe terrorists brought those towers down, entities with the US… or even if you believe the leadership of the US allowed it to happen… what you have to agree on is that the course of the US and world really did change forever from that day forward.

Obviously a lot has been written about this subject… said about this subject… etc. etc. and I don’t just want to restate what others already have… but the plans of the US Elite to violently remake the world went into hyper drive on that day.  The 9/11 attacks served as the necessary catalyst to propel us to where we are today.  They enable Bush and company to act upon their previous plans for Iraq and Afghanistan… they set the stage for all that is now ramping up with Lebanon, Iran, Syria… and God knows where else.

They also served to dramatically accelerate the transition of the US from democracy to police state.  Due to 9/11 and all the subsequent events… we now have homeland security, the Patriot Act, Secret Courts, Wiretapping and other sorts of spying upon US citizens. We have renditions; torture by
