Welcome to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  It’s Monday, August 21, 2006 and let me tell you I am very happy to be back on schedule with these audio broadcasts.  I say that because I like to do these things on Mondays and Thursdays… but over the past week or so had been sort of all over the chart with them.  This way you guys can fit these broadcasts into your schedules… which is very important to me… since the whole purpose is to make the information offered here available to you in a convenient and compelling formant.

I do believe we’ve got a fairly compelling program on tap for everyone today… maybe not as long as these broadcasts normally are… but chock full of lots of good stuff… regardless of the length.  I want to further discuss the situation in the Middle East… which has of course been the prime storyline here for the past month or so… and appropriately so I might add.  I also want to speak a bit more about the quote-unquote war on terrorism… and I have some excerpts from a recent interview Gore Vidal did with Progressive Magazine to comment upon.  In addition to all this I am sure there will be some other things along the way, which will get discussed… and we also have a new audio segment from S.R. Shearer today, entitled, The Weatherman Cometh.  This segment is drawn from Steve’s January 2005 short essay of the same name.

The central message of that essay… and something I want to speak about briefly… is that everyone out there really does need to discern the signs of the times in which we are living.  It is not so much about looking at everything happening in the world and saying… the Tribulation has started… or will start in the next few months… but instead… it is about realizing the reality of our present situation.  We need to realize the identity of the United States… and realize things are not going to get any better there.  We need to realize that the American Church has totally given itself over to the American Empire… and take appropriate action.  We also need to realize… regardless of where we are physically located… that these two entities… that are in league with each other… are literally bent upon subduing the WHOLE OF THE WORLD… for their own purposes.

As such… we must with urgency move forward as God has commanded us to do.  Now I realize that is fairly general advice… but I don’t want to get into all the details yet.  Needless to say… I am looking forward to Steve’s segment today… where the things I am touching upon now will be fleshed out in much greater detail… all though from a slightly different angle.

At this time I want to thank those of you who sent a little help our way to assist Eugene and get his laptop and printer sent to him.  We were able to send him some help over the weekend… help he sorely needed I might add.  Hopefully over the next couple of weeks enough assistance will be provided to get a laptop and printer sent to him as well…

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was going over a few general matters and since I have concluded those remarks let us now move on to our first topic for today.

For starters I want to spend a little more time speaking about the situation in the Middle East… specifically the role the US is playing in manipulating events to serve their purposes in the region.  Since the beginning of the Israeli/Hezbollah/Hamas conflict… which began over a month ago… everyone has known that Israel had the full approval of the US for their offensive in Lebanon… and their show of force in Gaza as well.

Along those lines… it is now becoming ever so clear that not only did Israel have US approval… but that by and large they were essentially doing the bidding of the US in taking on this offensive… one that has not been nearly so successful for the Israelis as they might have hoped.  Yet when one recognizes that ultimately this undertaking was not began solely as a means to accomplish Israeli objectives… and whether or not you thought they were in the right here is somewhat irrelevant… because instead… this whole affair has essentially been one meant to serve US plans for quote-unquote, remaking the entire region.

In order to remake the region the US must of course rectify their present situation in Iraq… but they must also… and this is in their eyes… eliminate any threat from Syria and Iran.  Once those objectives are realized… then any sort of blowback which might occur from the majority Sunni populated US friendly regimes in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan can be dealt with.  Now what the US hopes for here… is that their present puppet regimes in these countries will withstand the backlash sure to swell from the masses once Iran and or Syria are attacked.

Yet… if they do not withstand said backlash… then the US feels it needs to be in a position to utterly destroy any sort of regional insurgency that would develop.  Now clearly… we are getting into Gog/Magog territory in looking at prospects such as these… but for just a second I want to backtrack.

I want to go back to where we are now… because though they may realize that someday soon they are going to have to exterminate most of the population in the Middle East… the US still wants to hold onto the friendly regimes they have in the region for as long as is possible.  Along these lines… the US knows that were it to commence their plan of destruction for Iran… without diminishing the retaliatory capabilities of Hezbollah… then the specter of an all out Arab uprising is all the more possible.

You see… while the Sunni nations of the South are not exactly on the best of terms with their Shiite brethren to the North… one thing that would certainly bring them together would be a massive Israeli counterstrike against Hezbollah were they to fire long range rockets into Tel Aviv and other population centers.  Now you might be saying… “Wait a minute… didn’t Hezbollah already do this?”  And the answer is no… most of the barrage in the present conflict was directed at border towns… with Haifa only seeing a limited amount of damage from Hezbollah rockets.

What the US sees… is that were it to have started operations against Iran and Syria without degrading Hezbollah’s capabilities… Hezbollah would have forgone any restraint and fired everything they had as deeply into Israel as they could… once this happened Israel would have utterly destroyed the whole of Southern Lebanon… much more so than they already have… and all these events may well have pushed the Sunni nations of the south into the conflict on the side of their Shiite brethren.

So essentially… what the US has done is send Israel out there as its stalking horse… which is what Seymour Hersh recently reported when he quoted Donald Rumsfeld as saying he was, “delighted that Israel is our stalking horse.”  In this role Israel’s job was to degrade Hezbollah’s military capabilities… destroy as many of its rockets as it could… and generally make it incapable of inflicting any sort of terminal damage upon Israel once hostilities against Iran begin.  In their view… going this route will make it much easier to keep their Middle Eastern friends in the fold.

Poor Israel huh?  They get called out by the boss to go and take one for the team… in other words their American Masters tell them to spill the blood of their people in order to pave the way for the coming massacre to be directed at Iran… and probably Syria.

And for the uninitiated… lets be perfectly clear here… all of this is very much about opening a can of whoop… well you know what I mean… all of this is very much about raining bombs upon both Syria and Iran.  Regarding Syria… just check out what Stephen Zunes wrote recently.  In a paper entitled How Washington Goaded Israel… Zunes wrote… and I quote:

“On July 30, the Jerusalem Post reported that President Bush pushed Israel to expand the war beyond Lebanon and attack Syria. Israeli officials apparently found the idea “nuts.”

This idea was not exactly secret. In support of the Israeli offensive, the office of the White House Press Secretary released a list of talking points that included reference to a Los Angeles Times op-ed by Max Boot, senior fellow for national security studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. The article, “It's Time to Let the Israelis Take Off the Gloves,” urges an Israeli attack against Syria. “Israel needs to hit the Assad regime. Hard,” argues Boot. “If it does, it will be doing Washington's dirty work.””

And moving on to Iran… Zunes also covers this matter when he writes:

“Iran, too, was in the administration's sights. The Israeli attack on Lebanon, according to Seymour Hersh, was to “serve as a prelude to a potential American preemptive attack to destroy Iran's nuclear installations.” But first, the Bush administration needed to get rid of Hezbollah's capacity to retaliate against Israel in the event of a U.S. strike on Iran, which apparently prompted Hezbollah's buildup of Iranian-supplied missiles in the first place.

Starting this spring, according to Hersh, the White House ordered top planners from the U.S. air force to consult with their Israeli counterparts on a war plan against Iran that incorporated an Israeli pre-emptive strike against Hezbollah. Lieutenant General Dan Halutz, the chief of staff of the Israeli military and principal architect of the war on Lebanon, worked with U.S. officials on contingency planning for an air war with Iran.”

Now go back into that just a ways… where Zunes… quoting Hersh writes: “But first, the Bush administration needed to get rid of Hezbollah's capacity to retaliate against Israel in the event of a U.S. strike on Iran, which apparently prompted Hezbollah's buildup of Iranian-supplied missiles in the first place.”  And remember that this is a point that I have been trying to make practically since all of this started.  Also of not here is the idea that the only reason Hezbollah was armed to the teeth to the degree it was in the first place… was because Iran had doubled-up their missile supplies to Hezbollah solely as part of their plans to retaliate once the US begins bombing them.

In light of this one should understand that even though most folks throughout the world thing Israel and the US are in deep kimchi in the region… I would have to say that this is not altogether the case.  Apparently the US knew that Iran was arming Hezbollah to the teeth… and as such goaded… which is the term used in the title of Zunes’ article… but appears they goaded the Israelis into striking Hezbollah for all the reasons I listed earlier.  Now things certainly didn’t go as smoothly as the Israelis and the Bush Whitehouse might have hoped… but there can be no doubt that the thousands of rockets Hezbollah fired were not boomerangs in other words they can’t get them back to use again… and over the course of the offensive most of launch sites have been pulverized by the IDF and a great number of Hezbollah’s weapons stores.

Additionally… like some sort of laboratory experiment… this battle between Israel and Hezbollah has been under enough control by the US so that it’s Sunni allies in the South though shaken… are still intact.  And with Hezbollah’s retaliatory capabilities seriously curtailed… it is certainly the hope of the US Elite that this will remain the status quo for as long as possible.

Will they be successful on this front?  Well ultimately I realize the answer is no… but I think the US Elite already know this… they just want to keep a lid on things for as long as possible.  They want to hold back from vaporizing the whole region for as much time as they can.  To get their Western partners on board… to deal with domestic matters… etc. etc.

But that day is a coming my friends.  The day when the gloves do come completely off… though for right now… it appears Washington is happy to have Israel continue doing their dirtiest of work… and taking the blows that come with the job.  Some love for the Jewish people huh?

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  Before the break I was discussing how Israel was goaded into doing the service of the US Elite in their offensive against Hezbollah.  Wrapping those thoughts up I said, “Some love for the Jewish people huh?”

Do you know what I mean?  Israel has been set up as the patsy here… they are the ones paying the immediate cost… both in blood spilled and insofar as anger and hatred from those in opposition throughout the world are concerned.  But you know what… Israel… though duped… is no doubt a willing participant here.  They hitched their wagon to the US a long time ago… forgoing God’s plan for them… in exchange for the American Empire plan.

Now this brings up a subject, which a friend of mine broached with me via email recently.  Let me read our exchange to clue you in on what I am talking about.  Here is the original email my friend Michael sent me… it reads… and I quote:

“I wanted to propose to you and Steve my germinating "double apostasy" theory as an essential ingredient in comprehending events to come:

Since the days of the First Advent, the mass of Jews have for the most part existed in the state of simple apostasy involved in rejecting their promised Messiah.  However, until Enlightenment times in the late 18th century, it was virtually unheard of for Jewsto reject the God of their fathers entirely - that is, the God of the Old Testament, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (as far as I know, anyhow; the philosopher Baruch Spinoza was an early and important 17th century exception) .

The poisonous leaven of Enlightenment atheism has led the mass of Jews to reject even the God of their fathers over the past couple hundred years, however.  Thus, their apostasy now is the double one of 1) not merely rejecting the true Messiah when He first came; but 2) of now even rejecting the God who promised them this Messiah in multitudes of ancient oracles altogether. 

 [A sidenote about the Enlightenment:  To a very substantial degree, pre-Enlightenment organized Christianity bears responsibility for spawning this phenomenon due to what your audio-broadcast messages speak of:  The persistent tendency of post-Constantinean Christianity of all types to align itself with worldly power so as to provide them with hypocritical moral cover to exploit the poor and downtrodden.]

Secular Zionism was born of this double-apostasy.  As demonstrated by the fact that the Orthodox remnant of Jews faithful to the God of their fathers rejected Secular Zionism until after World War II,  the regathering of unfaithful Israel into their land could not have been effected by the pre-enlightenment simple apostasy of merely rejecting Messiah, but required the present double apostasy in order to be effected - at God's great displeasure, but with His permission (for how could God be pleased if His Chosen people persist in DOUBLE apostasy?).

So how does all this relate to Israel's future?  Basically, my contention is as follows:  In the aftermath of the Gog/Magog war, the mass of Jews living in Israel will come to be cured of half of their current double-apostasy.  The evidently miraculous character of certain aspects of Israel's victory in that conflict that seem to be prophetically indicated in Ez 38-39 will lead them to re-embrace faith in the God of their Fathers.  As such, they will once again come to embrace faith in Old Testament oracles promising messianic deliverance for the nation.

But they will persist in their classical unbelief that Jesus of Nazareth WAS this Messiah.  As such, they will be anxiously and eagerly on the lookout - in a way in which would not be possible for them to be doing now, given their current state of double-apostasy - for one who "comes in his own name" and presents himself as their messiah, this being, of course, the American antichrist.  In this way, the Gog/Magog war will pave the way in RELIGIOUS terms for the Jews of Israel to look for and embrace antichrist, something that, to repeat, is not something they could possibly be inclined to look for now given their state of double apostasy.”

Now I have some remarks to make concerning what Michael is putting forth… but for starters… let’s check out my immediate reply.  In that reply I wrote:

“I totally see where you are coming from insofar as "double apostasy" is concerned... and in fact I have made mention of this on ISRP before.  Usually though... I have more or less explained the irony involved that the greater part of both entities called to serve as Witnesses for God... are instead mired in deception and destined to serve the one who "comes in his own name."”

To go further here… do you see what Michael is getting at?  An Israel founded upon what was for the most part secular Zionism… will not be disposed to even look for the Messiah until after Gog/Magog… and sadly the man they are going to look for is the one… who comes in his own name… as it says in  John 5: 43. In other words… presently blinded Israel will by and large fall for the deception, which is going to lead the world to honor this coming man of sin as the Christ… when he is indeed the Antichrist.

Now I am an equal opportunity offender here… so let me also say that the greater part of that which calls itself the Church is also going to receive the one who comes in his own name… and isn’t this the greatest of all ironies.  On the side of the truth we are going to have God’s Two Witnesses… the true Church and the sealed of Israel… who will testify against the Beast… and those who testify for the beast… and on the side of apostasy we are going to have a counterfeit of both these entities… not just the apostate Church… but an apostate Israel as well.

You see… the god of this world is doing everything he can to counterfeit every aspect of God’s true plan.  God has his heavenly Kingdom… the world has Babylon the Great.  Of the true Kingdom… the Son of God, Jesus Christ is King… while the counterfeit kingdom is to have its king… the Antichrist.  God has His two Witnesses… the Church and Israel… while the Antichrist has his false witnesses the Apostate Church and Apostate Israel… Lastly… and somewhat loosely… The truth has the Holy Spirit, which testifies of the Son and shows us all things concerning him… while the lie has the false prophet… which is to testify of the antichrist.

Wild stuff huh?  The point though… is that I think Michael is dead on right… and there can be no doubt at this present moment… that the greater part of Israel is indeed in league with the very kingdom, which is dead set upon delivering this world into the arms of the man of sin.

When you look at it in this light… you ought to be able to see just how far along the time line we are… you ought to be able to ascertain that we are not all that far from moving into the events of the end of the age.  You should be able to discern the signs of the times in which we live… and it is my hope that not only do you see these things… but that you are going to take action upon them as well.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host… Sean Mayfield.  Before the break you were listening to S.R. Shearer’s audio presentation of his January 2005 commentary entitled, The Weatherman Cometh.

The point of Steve’s commentary was to wake people up… to help them understand the times in which they live.  People need to see the signs of the times.  They must discern that which is occurring all around them.  At the very beginning of the commentary Steve said:

“"You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows!" That's what Dylan said back in the 1960s; but Jesus said it much earlier than that, though not that much differently, when He said -

"... When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, it will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye HYPOCRITES, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?" (Matt. 16:2-3)”

2000 years ago Christ laid this out quite plainly for those who could not discern the signs of the times relative to His first advent… and how much more true is that today… concerning the signs of the times attached to his second advent?

It seems the Church… the very people who should know and understand what is going on right now… are totally and completely oblivious to everything.  They have no idea they are drowning in an apostate institution.  They have no idea how heinous their sin of allying with the power of the state is… and they have no inclination of the eternal price that is to be paid for staying this present course.

Additionally… even those who see some of these things refuse to take the full counsel of God on these matters.  The Bible is quite clear and very direct on the fact that those who are quote-unquote, “His people” are to come out of that terrible nation known as Babylon the Great.  They are to separate themselves from the midst of it.  They are to flee… everyman sparing his own life… and hey… we are not talking about our earthly lives… in which it is appointed unto all men to die once… we are talking about our spiritual lives… and as Steve went over in the commentary… those who remain behind will be consumed… they will be conformed to the image of this beast.

Now here is what is really interesting… Christians may not see these things… but the children of this world certainly do… they are not fools on the same scale as those within the US who claim to serve Christ.  And in this respect… once again the words of Christ are fulfilled when He said:

“…for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.”

And that is from Luke 16: 8.  Do you need proof of this… do you need evidence that this dictum is true to the minute?  Well check out the recent words of famous American author and essayist Gore Vidal.  In a recent interview for Progressive Magazine… it was put to Vidal what America’s youth should do in light of what the US has become… here is what Vidal said… and I quote:

“I would suggest Canada or New Zealand as a possible place to go until we are rid of our warmongers. We’ve never had a government like this. The United States has done wicked things in the past to other countries but never on such a scale and never in such an existentialist way. It’s as though we are evil. We strike first. We’ll destroy you. This is an eternal war against terrorism. It’s like a war against dandruff. There’s no such thing as a war against terrorism. It’s idiotic. These are slogans. These are lies. It’s advertising, which is the only art form we ever invented and developed.

But our media has collapsed. They’ve questioned no one. One of the reasons Bush and Cheney are so daring is that they know there’s nobody to stop them. Nobody is going to write a story that says this is not a war, only Congress can declare war. And you can only have a war with another country. You can’t have a war with bad temper or a war against paranoids. Nothing makes any sense, and the people are getting very confused. The people are not stupid, but they are totally misinformed.”

To this I would add… that a proper Biblical perspective should make it clear that the warmongers are never going to be gotten rid of… And as such… how is it that someone such as Vidal… is most definitely a child of this world… can see not just the problem… but a huge part of the solution… but the Church cannot?  How does this happen?

Vidal says people are not stupid… just misinformed… and I suppose this is true for the Church as well… except there is only one point to add… those who supposedly are indwelt by the Holy Spirit have no excuse for being misinformed… except that they desire to be as such.

It is my prayer that those of you out there listening to these words will not end up in this camp… It is my prayer that you will heed the signs of the times… and make the wise decision the Lord desires…  and with that said I will shut things down for today… otherwise I would ramble on for who knows how long.

Hey this is Sean Mayfield and I want to welcome you to the Friday, August 18, 2006, Antipas Audio Journal.  There is really a lot going on right now… in what is supposed to be the dog-days of summer… and I certainly hope today’s program can help bring a little clarity to the madness occurring all around us.

There are several matters I want to discuss today.  I want to talk about the foiling of the recent quote-unquote, terrorist plot in London… and what I want to discuss is that just as was the case in Miami earlier this year… there is not nearly so much to this as was initially reported.

I also want to speak about the situation in Lebanon… specifically what the outcome presently is… and where things are headed… and I also want to discuss the escalating violence in Iraq… as well as the deteriorating situations in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.  Along the way I’ll also get into the root of all this evil… insofar as deciding just who is to blame for the malevolence the US has displayed throughout the world.

And finally… we will also have Part 5 of S.R. Shearer’s series, Sowing the Seeds of the Gog/Magog War coming at you today.  What is oh… so appropriate about this series… is that most definitely the seeds for this great and terrible war are being sown right before our eyes… and Steve’s take on all of this back in 2004… which is when the original article was written… is all the more significant today.

I suppose as well… that there will be some other things discussed today… but those will just sort of come about in the moment… For starters though… I want to make a quick announcement or two.  I want to let everyone know that we are very close to getting caught up on our bills for the month… and I am truly thankful for the efforts many of you have made to assist us.

We are currently $500 short of dodging the bullet here… and I certainly do trust the Lord to see us through this.  Additionally… and I probably should have included this in more detail before… we do also need to raise the last amount of assistance necessary to purchase and ship a laptop pc and printer to our co-laborer, Eugene Bonsu… who is in Ghana.  Thankfully one dear friend and brother has already donated the majority of the help needed… which we had to partially dip into during the worst of our financial crisis here.  We still need to replenish some of what he contributed… plus raise more for shipping and software.

I really and truly pray that someone out there… or a combination of people will answer this call and enable us to get this accomplished.  The effort Eugene expends toward spreading the Message of Truth is unparalleled in my eyes… and equipping him with this pc will enable him to spread the message all the more.  He will be able to have the whole website on his computer so that he can share the content with the many people he reaches out to.  He will be able to print out materials and fliers for posting and distribution.  He will also be able to greatly step up the frequency and volume of the reports he posts on the website… and all these reasons make it apparent to us that we have to find a way to do this as soon as is possible.

The other matter I wanted to discuss is based upon some of the inquiries I have received of late.  Often people write to me inquiring as to what they can do to get involved with this message… and I thought I might as well just address this matter with everyone… in addition to my personal responses.

I really believe the best way people can begin getting involved is to help out in distributing our message.  Whether that means emailing articles to folks, printing and passing out information, or making CD’s or mp3’s of the audio and distributing those.

Let us lay the groundwork for you here… take the words we have written or spoken and get them out there to as many people as you can.  The next thing you want to do is be sure that everyone who gets this information from you has a way to contact YOU… in reply.  While it is OK for folks to contact us… what also has to happen is that you have to make yourself available to discuss these matters as well… and as such you need to be sure you not only believe in… but also really and truly know this message.

Sign up for the training if you haven’t already… or be sure and take it seriously if you already have.  But you have to know this message and you have to be willing to talk with people about it.  Invite people to your home to discuss the info you have given them.  Do this either individually or in groups.  It is our hope that when people go this route… that there will be those who will come together in a love of Christ and the truth… and that out of this a real meeting life can develop for folks… and also so that those still within the US can begin working together to GET OUT OF THAT NATION.

What it takes though is a willingness to take action… and I just hope my suggestions have proven slightly helpful in that regard… One more thing though… if you get the information out to everyone you know and don’t get any replies… this means you have to start taking it to people you don’t know… and if all the strangers you are comfortable approaching are not interested… then this means you need to take it to strangers that you are uncomfortable approaching.

I realize this does not sound easy… and it isn’t… but the Spirit of Christ within you will give you the words to say… whether or not there is a positive response to your efforts… and lastly… do also realize that in taking this step you will eventually meet up with persecution… in some form or fashion… but hey… the Lord promised us as much… and we should be grateful to know that He has counted us as worthy to suffer for His name’s sake.

Well… that wraps up the preliminary matters I wanted to discuss for today… and before I jump into everything else… let’s pause for a brief message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was making some initial comments concerning our financial situation, the situation regarding Eugene Bonsu’s laptop… and I also made some general suggestions on how people can get involved in spreading the message of truth.  Now that I have covered those things… let’s go ahead and cover the first topic on tap for today.

The first thing I want to discuss is the foiling of that quote-unquote terrorist plot in London… which has led to all kinds of restrictions on airlines… like you can’t bring liquids on board anymore… whether it be containers of water, hair gel, or whatever… Well my initial comments about all of this were that no matter what turned out to be true… what was undeniable was that things like this are always used to manipulate the fears of the populace… to strip away a little more freedom… and to make them a little more likely to succumb to the game plan, which the Elite have on tap.

So… as news about this thing continues to come out… it is starting to look like this situation is much more similar to the guys arrested in Miami… who were relatively harmless… than similar to any sort of genuine threat.  It seems the tip to arrest all the suspects here was one that was beaten out of a detainee in Pakistan… and of the 24 people arrested… many have been released… and 8 days later… none have been charged.

I do want to say that I personally have no idea what these guys were up to… because obviously I do not have all the facts.  Yet one would have thought the media did… as voraciously as they devoured and disseminated the story initially.  More and more though… it is looking like this is a mole being made into a mountain sort of affair… and that more than anything else… what has been accomplished here is a further projection of fear onto the populace… a further dose of xenophobia injected into the masses… and generally speaking what this has done is move the mindset of westerners one step closer to that which will acquiesce to the civilization war, which is to come.

On that matter that the evidence indicates this terror threat was far from the scope originally reported… I encourage everyone to check out the writings of Craig Murray.  In an August 17^th missive entitled, Hitting a Nerve… Murray lays out the facts to date and reveals just how little has panned out insofar as making any charges stick against the London airline terror suspect.  Murray writes:

“Still, after eight days of detention, nobody has been charged with any crime. For there to be no clear evidence yet on something that was "imminent" and "Mass murder on an unbelievable scale" is, to say the least, rather peculiar. The 24th person, who was arrested amid much fanfare yesterday, has been quietly released without charge today. Breaking news, another "suspect" has just been released too.

The drip, drip of information to the media from the security services has rather dried-up. The last item of any significance was that they had found a handgun and a rifle - neither of which could have been in any use in the alleged plot. If you were smuggling undetectable liquid explosive onto a plane, you would be unlikely to give the game away by tucking a rifle into your hand baggage.

As with the murder some years ago of the uncle of the suspect held in Pakistan, it remains a possibility that there could be some criminal activity here involving a few of the suspects, which is not terrorist linked.

As the Police immediately told the press about the guns, it is a reasonable deduction that it remains true that they still have found no bombs or detonators, or they would have told us, particularly as they haven't charged anyone yet. They must be getting pretty desperate to announce some actual evidence by now.”

From what Murray has put forth… it seems pretty clear that this is not a case of some sinister, master-minded conspiracy that was going to imminently strike in catastrophic fashion… which is exactly how the mainstream media originally reported the story.  What is also interesting here… is the next point, which Murray brings up.  After pointing out that it is reasonable to assume authorities have found no bombs or detonators… since nothing of the sort has been revealed to the press… and also since no one has yet been charged… well after pointing this out… Murray goes on to write… and I quote:

“This brings us to one particularly sinister aspect of the allegations - that the bombs were to be made on the plane.

The idea that high explosive can be made quickly in a plane toilet by mixing at room temperature some nail polish remover, bleach, and Red Bull and giving it a quick stir, is nonsense. Yes, liquid explosives exist and are highly dangerous and yes, airports are ill equipped to detect them at present. Yes, it is true they have been used on planes before by terrorists. But can they be quickly manufactured on the plane? No.

The sinister aspect is not that this is a real new threat. It is that the allegation may have been concocted in order to prepare us for arresting people without any actual bombs.”

This point is very significant… because if the law is manipulated to allow people to be arrested as terrorist bombers… without there being any actual bombs… then who among us is safe?  If you or I… or anyone else is on big brother’s hit list and all that has to be done to haul us in is find some bleach, nail polish, and a bottle of Gatorade in our domiciles… then we are all in really big trouble my friends… and the sad truth is that this is most definitely where we are headed.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host Sean Mayfield. Before the break I was discussing the ramifications of the whole terrorist plot thing that just took place in London… and the bottom line is that this whole situation is being manipulated to induce the populace into a greater state of fear… and to further create an environment in which those tabbed as enemies of the empire… can be hauled off and disappeared.

With that being said I want to move on to the next point of discussion… which is the aftermath of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.  Most left-wing scorecards are now indicating that Hezbollah has turned out to be the victor here… and they also seem to be thinking along the lines that all of this is going to work… along with US troubles in Iraq… and Afghanistan… to undue US imperial efforts in the region along with Israel’s efforts as America’s junior imperial partner.

Well… I am just not so sure this is the case… though I do no doubt see that Israel fell well short of all she wished to accomplish in Lebanon… and that the US is becoming greatly frustrated by its inability to squash the resistance in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

There was an article by William Lind… which I read over on the Counterpunch website… which ascribes the failure of the US and Israel to their inability to defeat 4^th generation warfare with traditional military tactics and weaponry.  For those wondering… here is a definition of 4^th generation warfare from Wikipedia:

“Fourth generation warfare (4GW) is a concept defined in 1989 by a team of American analysts, including William S. Lind, used to describe warfare's return to a decentralized form. In terms of generational modern warfare, the fourth generation signifies the nation states' loss of their monopoly on combat forces, returning in a sense to the uncontrolled combat of pre-modern times. The simplest definition includes any war in which one of the major participants is not a state but rather a violent ideological network. Fourth Generation wars are characterized by a blurring of the lines between war and politics, soldier and civilian, peace and conflict, battlefield and safety. While this term is similar to terrorism and asymmetric warfare, it is much narrower. Classical examples, such as the slave uprising under Spartacus or the assassination of Julius Caesar by the Roman senate, predate the modern concept of warfare and are examples of the type of combat modern warfare sought to eliminate. As such, fourth generation warfare uses classical tactics—tactics deemed unacceptable by the preceding generations—to weaken the technologically advantaged opponent's will to win.”

In essence… what Lind is saying is that the military might of the US and Israel cannot defeat a guerilla enemy engaged in 4^th generation warfare…  Lind also says that the present ceasefire will not hold… and I am inclined to agree with him on this point.  Lind then predicts… and I quote:

“Unfortunately for states generally, Israel appears to have no good options when hostilities recommence. It can continue to grind forward on the ground in southern Lebanon, paying bitterly for each foot of ground, and perhaps eventually denying Hezbollah some of its rocket-launching sites. But it cannot hold what it takes. It may strive for a more robust U.N. force, but what country wants to fight Hezbollah? Any occupier of southern Lebanon that is not there with Hezbollah's permission will face the same guerrilla war Israel already fought and lost. Most probably, Israel will escalate by taking the war to Syria or Iran, and what will be a strategy of desperation. That too will fail, after it plunges the whole region into a war the outcome of which will be catastrophic for the United States as well as for Israel.”

What Lind is saying in essence is that we are at the beginning of the end of US-slash-Israeli hegemony in the Middle East.  Lind believes groups like Al Qaida, Hezbollah, and Hamas… will be successful in thwarting US imperial designs upon the region… and will force Israel to come to terms with all her enemies.  Yet there is one thing that I am not sure Lind is considering… while coming to this conclusion.

There may just be a way for the US and Israel to come out victorious here… and by victorious I don’t mean taking some sort of a moral victory… but instead… total victory.  The way the US and Israel can accomplish this is by waging an unrelenting war of extermination against the whole of the Muslim World.  If they were to have world conditions present to carry out this sort of a war… they could defeat their enemies in the region… and realize their present ambitions… but what I am talking about once again… is a war of extermination… in which nuclear weapons will have to be used… and a great number of the population centers in Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, etc… will have to be turned into piles of ruble and corpses.

The harsh truth is that their will be no more insurgencies, resistances, and terrorism… when there are no more people left alive to battle the beast… and do not get me wrong here… this is a terrible thing… but this is very much where we are headed.  I believe the leadership in the US and in Israel realizes half-measures… even in the realm of combat… will not defeat their enemies here… and as such I believe they realize that ultimately they are going to have to kill millions upon millions of people in order to secure the region for their own purposes.

I think that guys like Lind… whom I do respect… and others on the left… just do not want to accept this reality as of yet… just as scholars and leaders of the left in Nazi Germany were unwilling to see the depths to which their country’s leadership willing to go in order to fulfill their evil ambitions.  These guys are in denial… just the same as their ideological forefathers… and as such they just cannot countenance the thought of such a war of extermination.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  Before the break I was talking about how many on the left refuse to believe the US will soon be willing to liquidate the entire population of the Middle East in order to secure their empire.  As such they look at what has transpired in Lebanon… and what is transpiring in Iraq… as proof-positive that America’s imperial operation in the region will soon be thwarted.

While I do disagree with that thought… I do altogether believe that the situation within Iraq is in serious trouble.  Levels of violence in and around Baghdad are higher than they have ever been.  Roadside bombings against US troops are up… attacks against US-supported Iraq troops and police are up… sectarian violence between Sunnis and Shiites is up… and over all the nation is a box of kindling just waiting for a spark.

Now I believe the ultimate solution, which the US will turn to is to destroy the population… while leaving the oil wealth in tact.  Yet I also think there are a few other remarks to be made concerning just how bad things are over there.

For starters… what this should prove to anyone still doubting… is that the whole invasion was based upon a lie.  It had nothing to do about WMD’s or toppling Hussein and it had nothing to do with bringing democracy to Iraqis… especially since recent reports are showing Bush and company now think democracy will not work there… regardless of what they say publicly to that effect.

No the invasion of Iraq was about conquest and the exploitation of wealth to come from controlling the oil… and destroying any currency threats.  Additionally… it had nor has anything to do with the cause of Jesus Christ.  His will is not being done over there any more today… than it was back in March of 2003.

Every soldier and civilian, which dies over there is not dying for the Lord’s plan… regardless of what the James Dobson’s and John Hagee’s of the world might tell you… instead… these guys are dying for the greed of the US Elite… because they are the architects of this war… just as they are the architects of the wars to come.

Now don’t get me wrong here… the Neocons have had their part to play… and most assuredly the American Church has as well… but nobody rides the beast for too long without being discarded or devoured by said beast… And at the heart of that baby is money… specifically the US Elite… whose desire for greater riches and power… regardless of the blood spilled and lives destroyed … cannot be satisfied.  Check out what Chris Floyd said about all this in a recent article I read on his website… which is entitled: Neo-Cons, Nabobs and Empire: It's Bigger Than the Neo-Cons.  Floyd writes… and I quote:

“These are dark days, serious times. The whiff of apocalypse is in the air. For it will be virtually impossible for the Gamesters to carry off their next immediate goal, subduing Iran--much less their long-range aim of dominating the world throughout a "new American century"--without the use of nuclear weapons. So let's be done with baby talk and comic books, with the comforting fairy tale that the vast crimes we are witnessing are the work of a few cranks who have somehow hijacked the noble U.S. government and are using it for their own purposes, or Israel's purposes, or whatever.

The reality is that Iraq was invaded because a powerful faction of the old-line American Establishment wanted to do it and the rest of the Establishment--the Democrats, the media, the "respectable" intelligentsia--countenanced the crime. The belligerence and oppression of the hardline Israeli government in Lebanon and Palestine are receiving unquestioned--and armed--support from the United States because this suits the larger strategic purposes of the "global dominance" faction of the Establishment, and the domestic political purposes both of the Democrats, heavily reliant on Jewish-American backing, and the Republicans, dependent on their rabidly pro-Israel evangelical base.

It is the American elite-- pursuing, as always, the enhancement of its own power and privilege, heedless of the consent of the governed or the genuine interests of the American people (or the Palestinian people or the Israeli people or the Lebanese people or the Iraqi people)--that bedevils us. The emergence of the cretinous neo-conservative cult is just a symptom of a deeper moral corruption coursing through the dominant institutions and structures of American society. The body politic is rotting from the head.”

Hey… Floyd pretty much sums it up.  The American Elite is the party pushing for all of this… and sadly… it is to these Elite that American Christianity has pledged its allegiance.  As such it has become the Church of Hell… and all who remain within it are sure to receive Hell’s wages.  Just as the Neocons have been “used” by the rich… so to is the Church… it is a vehicle they can use to provide spiritual and ideological cover for their own greed and avarice… and it is a willing vehicle at that.

God’s command concerning this Church… and the nation on which she rides… is to come out… to flee lest you too become a partaker in their sins… or as Floyd would say… fall prey to their deeper moral corruption… which has infected and overpowered all the institutions and structures of American society.  Come out of her my people… that is God’s answer.

Hello everyone… I’m Sean Mayfield and I want to welcome you to the Antipas Audio Journal.  It’s Tuesday, August 15, 2006 and I think we’ve got a pretty good program on tap for today.  I want to talk about some of the issues Steve initially brought up in his latest article and special audio, entitled, BE CONCERNED! BE VERY CONCERNED! - DETENTION CAMPS ARE COMING TO A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU.  I also want to discuss the situation in the Middle East… especially in light of the cease-fire now in effect between Israel and Hezbollah.  Additionally… we also have Part 4 of Steve’s series, Sowing the Seeds of the Gog/Magog War coming at you later in the program.  Along the way there might be a few other things I’ll go over… but I am going to play things by ear in that regard.

Hey… I also want to thank those of you who have stepped up and sent some help our way over the past couple of weeks.  We were really up against the wall and your sacrifice has made all the difference.  We still have around $700 worth of expenses unmet for this month… and we also need to get a laptop and printer and ship them to Eugene Bonsu in Ghana.  So please do go to the Lord on these matters and let Him lead you insofar as stepping up is concerned.  As I said earlier… I… in fact we all… are humbled and thankful for the help sent thus far… along with all the prayers and well-wishes.

Now… let’s get on to the business at hand.  For starters I want to touch upon a few things related to Steve’s most recent article… which went over the mechanisms already in place and the activities occurring… that are moving the US into full-fledged police state status.  And especially insofar as mass arrests and detentions are concerned… because let’s face it… you can’t really have a proper police state… without locking up dissenters en masse.

Seriously though… I want to say up front that I don’t want to see these things happen.  I have no desire to see the brown shirts unleashed upon people I know and love.  I have no desire to see any of the terrible things, which are certainly coming down the pike… and on that subject… I really do find it appalling… and a sign of someone’s lack of understanding of the truth… when they do talk about how they cannot wait for the tribulation to start.

Hey more than anyone else I am ready for the Lord to return.  I am ready to live the rest of my life in His glory and in His personal presence.  Yet I do not relish the thought of millions upon millions of people suffering and dying.  I do not look forward to the specter of loved one’s suffering or sliding away down the slippery slope of deception.

Yet with all that being said… I do believe the time before us is going to be quite interesting to see.  And in particular… I am interested to see how folks in the US respond once they actually do start disappearing folks… locking them up… shutting them out of the system.  I am interested because we have had a lot of critics condemn us for leaving the US and many of these same folks have been quite loud and vehement in stating God does not require them to leave… but that they will instead have His testimony there in the belly of the beast.

They have been extremely vocal on this point… and have let it be known that even if things do go to pot in the US… they will stand tall in their testimony for the truth… no matter what that means will happen to them.  Well… I guess fairly soon we are going to begin finding out if this is true won’t we?  Now like I said before… I am not looking forward to any of the bad things, which are to come… and I am certainly not looking forward to seeing anyone I know… whether friend or foe… placed within the vice of the national security state… but I do also have to be honest and say I will be looking on to see if people really do stand tall for the truth.

Will they be bold with a testimony that might place them in one of those detention camps Halliburton is constructing?  Will they testify against the evil being perpetrated by their own leaders in the name of Christ when said testimony can place them on the wrong end of a gun held by some Blackwater Mercenary?

You see… and this is something we have said from the beginning… the call to flee the US… which God has placed upon His children… is not one born out of protecting yourself against mercenaries… internment camps… or the Gestapo tactics of the new and improved Christian America… rather… the call to flee is on meant to spare God’s children from falling prey to the sins and deception of Babylon the Great… that terrible nation we no clearly to be the United States of America.

And sadly… what I think is going to happen in most cases… is that folks down there are going to clam up… they are going to refuse to speak out against the apostasy… they will remain silent so they don’t end up in one of those camps…  They won’t go out into the streets… they won’t speak out amongst their families, friends, and co-workers.  They sanitize their websites so as not to offend the Christo-fascists… and in doing so they will become agents of complicity in the sins of Babylon the Great… and this road my friends… is certainly the one to perdition.

Hey there has been a lot of big talk by folks… who have called us cowards for getting out of the US… and have let us know God has called them to stay and testify there in the US… well… to that I say get cracking my friends… let me hear your voice now… and also… let me hear it once the trains are running out to the hinterlands with their human cargo.  And finally… to state this one more time… I don’t want to see any of this happen.  My hearts desire is that all who love the Lord will hearken His call to come out of the US… my earnest hope is that all who love the truth will separate themselves from a Church and a nation serving the father of lies.  But hey… brass-tacks time is a coming… and it will no doubt be interesting to see if those who talk the talk… will also walk the walk.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about what people in the US are going to do once the bad stuff hits the fan down there.  Will they stand for the truth even if that means being locked up and cut out of the system… or will they quiet down and fade into the wood-work?  I suppose time will tell eh?

On another note… I am sure all of you know by now that there is presently a truce in place between Israel and the Palestinians… though who knows how long it will last… or if this does anything to derail the coming war against Iran and Syria.  I really don’t think so to be honest with you.  For one thing… the rhetoric against Iran is louder now than it was when the whole Israel/Hezbollah thing started… and at this point if nothing else, Israel has cleared out a lot of Southern Lebanon and Gaza… which may be very beneficial given the response to come from the Muslim World once the attack on Iran begins.

Do you follow what I am saying here?  Think about it… Southern Lebanon and Gaza have both been seriously depopulated over the past month or so… and additionally a tremendous amount of Hezbollah’s capability to battle the IDF has been negated.  I am not saying Hezbollah is a spent force… I am just saying they are not nearly as strong or potent as they were… and the population of Southern Lebanon, which to a great degree served to shield them… is no longer present.

What this means as that when the US and Israel finally do hit Iran… and Syria… a response by Hezbollah against the attack should not be nearly as effective as it could have been before the offensive.  The same thing goes for Gaza too… throw in the fact that an Iran and Syria under attack from the US and Israel… and one which may well include nuclear weapons… and it will be pretty tough for Hezbollah or Hamas to rearm… to the levels they were at before the events of the past month.

Now I am not saying this was the sole US/Israeli objective before the cease-fire… I am just saying that it is very much the situation… and one which serves their purposes quite nicely… and I am not the only guy to think this way either.  Check out what Seymour Hersh has to say about this in his latest New Yorker article:

“The Bush Administration, however, was closely involved in the planning of Israel’s retaliatory attacks. President Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney were convinced, current and former intelligence and diplomatic officials told me, that a successful Israeli Air Force bombing campaign against Hezbollah’s heavily fortified underground-missile and command-and-control complexes in Lebanon could ease Israel’s security concerns and also serve as a prelude to a potential American preëmptive attack to destroy Iran’s nuclear installations, some of which are also buried deep underground.”

And pay particular attention to Hersh’s comment concerning how this attack could ease Israel’s security concerns… because shortly thereafter in the article Hersh goes deeper on this subject when he writes:

“Hezbollah is seen by Israelis as a profound threat—a terrorist organization, operating on their border, with a military arsenal that, with help from Iran and Syria, has grown stronger since the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon ended, in 2000. Hezbollah’s leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, has said he does not believe that Israel is a “legal state.” Israeli intelligence estimated at the outset of the air war that Hezbollah had roughly five hundred medium-range Fajr-3 and Fajr-5 rockets and a few dozen long-range Zelzal rockets; the Zelzals, with a range of about two hundred kilometres, could reach Tel Aviv. (One rocket hit Haifa the day after the kidnappings.) It also has more than twelve thousand shorter-range rockets. Since the conflict began, more than three thousand of these have been fired at Israel.

According to a Middle East expert with knowledge of the current thinking of both the Israeli and the U.S. governments, Israel had devised a plan for attacking Hezbollah—and shared it with Bush Administration officials—well before the July 12th kidnappings. “It’s not that the Israelis had a trap that Hezbollah walked into,” he said, “but there was a strong feeling in the White House that sooner or later the Israelis were going to do it.”

The Middle East expert said that the Administration had several reasons for supporting the Israeli bombing campaign. Within the State Department, it was seen as a way to strengthen the Lebanese government so that it could assert its authority over the south of the country, much of which is controlled by Hezbollah. He went on, “The White House was more focussed on stripping Hezbollah of its missiles, because, if there was to be a military option against Iran’s nuclear facilities, it had to get rid of the weapons that Hezbollah could use in a potential retaliation at Israel.”

There it is again… the White House was more focused on stripping Hezbollah of its missiles because if there was to be a military option against Iran’s nuclear facilities… IT HAD TO GET RID OF THE WEAPONS … Hezbollah could use in retaliation.  Like I said before though… I am very confident this is not the only reason the Israelis took on this offensive… but it really does seem clear that it is one of them… and it also seems very clear that taking the fight to Iran and Syria… but Iran in particular… is a huge part of the reason this whole offensive began in the first place… and especially the reason for the overwhelming support the US has provided.

Because let’s face it… all of this has really caused things to spin out of control in Iraq.  Just go to any search engine and type in the words Iraq and violence… and see what sort of news comes up… things are turning from bad to worse there… and if the US didn’t have an interest beyond support their Israeli friends… they would have never supported Israel to the degree they have… shipped them the munitions they have… and stalled international diplomacy for as long as they did.  They never would have done this if there wasn’t some bigger interest of theirs to be served…

Hey welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about how the Israeli offensive against Hezbollah has certainly served the interest of those who are pushing for US/Israeli strikes against Iran.  And if we are going to make mention of those who are pushing for this… we really do have to mention the greater part of the American Church.

These guys are the biggest cheerleaders for further mid-east violence.  More than any other segment of the population besides the Elite who stand to literally make trillions of dollars by controlling the region… outside of these guys though… there is no other group of people more in support of attacking Iran than the US Church.  Hey check it out… they have totally twisted Biblical prophecy to the point where they are now saying God is calling for Israel to strike Iran… that those who do not help or support her will be accursed in His eyes.

Now pardon me for bringing the truth into all of this… but did or did not Christ say “blessed are the peacemakers”?  Did or did He not say to love your enemies?  Well… I just do not see how you can really and truly love anyone you are willing to drop laser guided munitions upon.   I do not see how any true servant of Christ could think that killing your enemies… or your friends’ enemies… is in His will… and the bottom line is that if you are not in His will on things like this… then chances are you are not one of His children… So all that I guess I am asking is don’t claim that you are… when your bloodlust clearly reveals otherwise.

Because that is what this is… it is bloodlust… and it is alien to the truth in Christ… and I just don’t see how anyone with the Spirit of Christ within them could yearn for the deaths of anyone… even if those in question really are evil-doers.
