Welcome to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host Sean Mayfield.  It is Tuesday, August 01, 2006 and I am once again very glad to be bringing you this program.  I had planned on broadcasting yesterday… as is normally the case… but there was just to much going on over the past few days for me to make that happen.  We were able to get about half of our hayfield cut, raked, and baled last week… and over the end of last week we got right at 700 bales of hay in the barn… and that is only half of it… like I said earlier.  So hey… I am really happy since there was a thought that the field would not even be worth cutting… since it needs so much work on it.

I will say though… all that hay came out to around 20,000 pound, which we had to lift heave and hoe… and stack in the barn… and to be quite honest with you… I have come to the realization that I am not the young man I used to be… because I don’t think my back has ever been as sore as it was over the past 3 days.  Praise the Lord though… I’m feeling better today and wet weather means we’ve probably got another week before we’ll have to do something with that which is still on the field… and in the interim I am really going to get cracking on everything here at Antipas Ministries.

Coming up on the radar this week… we of course have got today’s audio broadcast… and then tomorrow I will release the transcript over on ISRP.org.  Plus… in addition to the release of the transcript tomorrow… I also have a couple of guest commentaries to share with everyone.  I will probably say a little more about them today… but I will also provide you with direct access to them tomorrow.  Then Thursday we’ll be back with another audio journal… followed by another transcript release on ISRP the next day… and then Steve will release the next module in our Antipas Training series on Saturday.

Also… I had planned to do an interview with Fred Palmquist this week… and while I am still shooting for that to happen… it will be on Thursday’s broadcast if I do get it done this week… and just may get pushed back to next Monday.  Hey what can I say?  I do all of this from my computer… in addition to everything else going on around here… and  on occasion time gets the better of me… especially when I’m trying to get 20,000 pounds of hay into the barn.

Enough about all of that though… let’s go ahead and talk a bit as to what today’s show is going to be about.  I have a few comments to make about the continuing situation in the Middle East… a situation, which we have discussed in great detail over the past few weeks.  I also want to share some of the reader and listener responses we have gotten during this time… related to our message on these matters… and also related to the article Steve Shearer released this past weekend for our training program… which debunks all of the hoopla surround the various conspiracy theories that Christians in the West in particular always seem to gravitate towards.

Plus… I want to talk a bit about those two commentaries I am going to publish tomorrow over on ISRP… one by a friend who is still in the US… and the other from a dear friend in Uganda… which was essentially written as a defense of Steve’s article about what is really going on in Africa.

Lastly… we do also have Part 2 of S.R. Shearer’s series entitled, Sowing the Seeds of the Gog/Magog War.  This series is very, very significant in light of everything taking place in the Middle East at the moment… and what is also significant is how dead-on accurate Steve was in his assessment of this situation and how it was to unfold… way back when he wrote the article in April of 2004.  I am not saying that to give Steve the big-head or anything like that… I am just pointing out the truth here… and with that said I suppose we ought to just get started with everything on tap for today… because we truly do have a lot of ground to cover.

First up… let’s talk about the continuing conflict between Israel, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Hamas… primarily in Gaza.  Since the end of last week… quite a bit has happened in deed.  In spite of increasing pressure from the international community for the Israelis to at least temporarily cease their efforts… the battle has raged on.  In fact… at one point the US stated that Israel was going to pause its aerial campaign for 48 hours for talks to begin… and it seems as if the Israelis did not get the memo on that one.

During this time Hezbollah has also made several cease-fire offers… yet the terms and conditions offered in these submissions were never going to pass muster to the Israelis… hence their rejection.  The point still to be made here… is something we have been talking about since all of this started… and this point was that the US and Israel want to keep pushing this thing until it can be transformed into a wider… regional war… in which the US and Israel can attack both Iran and Syria.  I haven’t seen anything happen to date… which disproves this… and in fact… the longer this goes on… the more it looks like this is exactly what we are rushing toward.

Additionally… way back at the beginning of all this I also said that one thing the Israelis wanted to do was depopulate Gaza as much as is possible… since they know that inevitably they are going to be pressured by the US to accept some sort of final settlement on the Palestinian issue between now and the signing of the coming defense pact, which the US and Israel are to sign.  Well… I still things going down exactly this way… and in fact there has been a huge surge in the number of refugees fleeing Gaza during the course of operations there… and when you throw in the fact that something like 800,000 Lebanese are now without homes due to the bombs being dropped… ostensibly on Hezbollah targets in the South… you should be able to see that regardless of how far the Israelis and the US take this present conflict… well… you should be able to see that the aftermath is to be one in which maybe half of Gaza’s population will have either fled or become homeless… and also that the Hezbollah dominated southern half of Lebanon is going to be left in a similar state.

This is not all that the Israelis desire… but it is a large part of it… since they know that eventually they will have to come to terms on securing some sort of lasting peace in the region… and from their standpoint… having these two areas… as well as the West Bank… depopulated and thus not containing so many potential terrorists… is a very desirous scenario.

I am a long way from wrapping things up for today… there is still a lot more to discuss… before I continue though… let’s pause so we can listen to a brief message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about the effect, which the present conflict in the Middle East is going to have on the populations in Gaza and Southern Lebanon… specifically how one of the goals Israel has in both cases is to depopulate these areas and reduce the number of potential terrorists able to fire rockets into Israeli town and cities.

Well… to change gears just a little… one thing I have made note of over the past few days… is how an international press, which was fairly positive toward Israeli actions in this present war is now becoming much more critical.  To a large degree this is to be expected… especially in light of events like that which happened in Kanan … in which 60 civilians, many children died when the Israelis bombed the village on early Sunday.  Throw in all the coverage of Israeli strikes, which hit a UN building in southern Lebanon… and it seems that the early spate of good will offered by the West may be turning.

Let us be clear though… the sentiment of the Elite has not changed.  And this is true whether we are talking about the US Elite… or their junior partners in Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and Canada… No the rich don’t care about the Lebanese or those in Gaza.  They could care less about how many children die.  I am not trying to be overly cynical here… just stating the truth you know…  The thing is though… the general populations in these countries are beginning to recoil in horror from the severity of the civilian casualties in this present conflict… and the balancing act which the Elite must do… is keep their own people placated all the while towing the line, which the US Elite have set.  And this is of course to remake the entire region… as George Bush is not afraid to say… even if remaking it means further carnage in Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, and eventually Iran and Syria… and eventually beyond that… the destruction of about 5/6^th of the Muslim world… or at least their armies.

You see… the great difference between the these countries on the one hand… and the US on the other… is that the population within the US does not have the same level of disaffection  toward the wars now being fought in the Middle East and those, which are still to come.  And the single greatest reason why this is so is because of American Christianity… and the fact that by and large America considers itself a Christian nation… albeit in a totally self-serving sense.

You see… these countries in Europe and even Canada… do not have the same sort of quote-unquote Christian populations… they do not fashion themselves to be quote-unquote Christian nations… As such the way they view the conflict Israel is presently engaged in is one in which the ultimate goal must be an end to the violence… whereas on the other hand… Christian America by and large views all of this as a good thing.  They wholly support the present Israeli offensive… the US War in Iraq… and even the coming war with Iran… as part of their version of what is required to fulfill prophecy and bring God’s Kingdom to earth through the fire-power of the US.

At the moment… one of the ring-leaders for this crowd is our old friend John Hagee… Pastor of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas… Well, Brother Hagee is at the forefront of those within the US who are pushing for a deeper alliance and partnership between the US and Israel.  There was an interesting commentary about him over on the Counterpunch website this past weekend… and it really got me to thinking.  Hagee sees a future in which Israel and the US must engage God’s enemies throughout the region until such time as they are all destroyed and Israel restored to all of the land promised to them.  What he sees is a world where bombings, and assorted other military strikes are a part of the arsenal of Jesus Christ… when used by the people of God against His enemies.

Aside from the utter blasphemy inherent in sullying the name of Jesus Christ by attaching it to such carnage… what Hagee apparently doesn’t see is that he is nothing more than a dupe… a pigeon… so to speak.  He is being played by the US Elite… as are all the others in the bomb ’em for Jesus crowd.  What these guys are doing is providing a religious justification for US Imperial ambition… ambition based not upon doing God’s work… but instead upon controlling the wealth of the world.

What Hagee and his ilk are doing is further delivering the people of Christian America… into the arms of the US Elite.  Whereas the average citizen in other countries in the West is hoping for some sort of peaceful solution to the violence in the Middle East… and does not want an escalation into a regional war… the average Christian American… of which we are talking about from 35 to 60% of the population… want to see all of this continue.  They want to see the Israelis continue taking it to Hezbollah and Hamas… regardless of the quote-unquote collateral damage.  They want to see the US do whatever is necessary to win in Iraq… and they truly desire that the US bomb the Iranians back to the stone-age if necessary.

This my friends… is a huge part of the distinction between the US as Babylon the Great… and the other nations of the world… which is that the US claims to be a Christian nation… and uses the name of Jesus Christ to justify the destruction it is unleashing upon the world.  In no other nation will you find this same situation… and the corrupting influence of this false Church… this false religion… which claims to be of Christ… is that which will eventually infect all who decide to remain within the US.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  Before the break I was explaining how the difference between the US and the rest of the West was that the people in these other countries don’t want the war presently being fought… not the larger ones to come… whereas the people within the US… in other words the street… i.e. Middle America… or whatever you want to call it… do want this fight.  They want Israel to continue its present campaign… they even want this thing to widen into a bigger war.  They want this because they want to see end of the age… and they also do this because in their view it is the duty of Christian America to not just defend Israel… but to also you the power of the US to vanquish the enemies of God.

I realize how twisted this all sounds… hopefully all of you do as well… because the simple truth of the matter is that God does not require the depleted uranium shells, tactical nukes, cluster bombs, and other such horrific weapons of the American arsenal to bring His Kingdom to the earth.  Neither does He desire that Israel trust in these things nor the United States of America for its security.  In this sense pragmatism equals absence of faith… and Israel is going to pay a heavy price for its pragmatism here.

What I want to do now is talk a little bit about some of the feedback we have been getting of late.  A lot of it has been centered on what is happening in the Middle East and our views concerning Israel in all of this.  In all honesty… we have gotten it from both sides.  On the one hand we have those who call us everything, but good up standing Christians because we have been critical of what Israel is doing right now… in serving as an accomplice to US imperial efforts in the Mid East.  We have also gotten it from those who think our refusal to deny Israel’s favored status in the eyes of God in light of what they are up to… is way off the mark.

I don’t know how to be any clearer on this matter than we have already been… but I will certainly give it one more go…By and large I agree with the left in its assessment Israel's actions... and more so from the standpoint that Israel is presently not acting within the Lord’s will… as well as the fact that the shoulder, which Israel has chosen to lean on throughout all of this is not that of God… but the United States… a.k.a. Babylon the Great…. Here is my distinction though... Regardless of whatever state Israel is presently in… I will not deny the grace by, which a remnant of the sons of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will be spared... will be reconciled to God... and will inherit the promises made in His covenant with them.

In doing those I am not turning a blind eye toward the fallen nature of the present state of Israel… and I am also not disregarding the fact that Israel is most certainly not conducting itself in a manner pleasing to our Lord Jesus Christ… and additionally… let me be clear on this point… THERE IS NO SALVATION OUTSIDE OF THAT FOUND THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.  Yet once again… for that remnant, which is destined to receive those promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob… be they presently in Israel or some other country in the world… God’s grace is what will enable them to receive the fulfillment of those promises.  Merit has nothing to do with.  The Law has nothing to do with… Grace is what enables God to keep this unconditional covenant… and I have faith that He will do so… and do so regardless of what the nation of Israel is up to now.

Finally as to this point… once again… this does not mean there is any excuse in the eyes of Jesus Christ for killing women and children as collateral damage even.  There is no excuse for oppressing and mistreating your enemies… even if they have sworn to kill you and push you into the sea.  The Words of the ONE and Only Savior are crystal clear on this point… and there are quite simply no exceptions.

Enough about that though… because there is another matter, which has seen us receive a veritable flurry of emails over the past couple of days… and that is the matter of conspiracy theories.  Steve released the first of a two part article in our training series this past Saturday, which debunks the fallacious conspiracies related to the Illuminati, the Bildebergers, the Free Masons, etc. etc.  In addition to debunking these myths… Steve also rails against those who propagate them… and shows how these things ultimately lead to the worst kind of anti-Semitism.

Well… it seems a fair number of people in our audience really and truly buy into these things to one degree or another… and were in fact quite offended that we came out so hard against all this claptrap.  What I want to sort of do… is sum things up insofar as where we are coming from… and also offer what I truly believe to be the rationale as to why so many people get captured by these fables as it says in 1 Timothy 4: 4.

To start with… in debunking conspiracy theories as we have… we are not saying that there has never been a conspiracy... and any coherent reading of our efforts on this subject is pretty clear.  The point is that the conspiracy theories, which so many Christian bandy about... i.e. the Illuminati, the Free Masons, the Bildebergers, etc... are nothing but deception, which leads to the worst sort of anti-Semitism.

As for the NWO and all that other business... I stand by all we have previously said in our writings... which I encourage everyone to check out for themselves.  Just click on the Topical Index link at the top of our home page at www.antipasministries.com.  And scroll down to our writings on conspiracy theories and those on anti-Semitism.  To provide a very brief summation though… I say that there is a New World Order... the American New World Order System... of which apostate American Christianity is the religion.  This Empire is ruled by the rich... who give their allegiance to money.  They have been corrupted by their riches and their greed for more.  No pentagrams, no black masses, no secret chambers, no Luciferic worship... and no motive other than wealth and the power, which comes from controlling the riches of this present world.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host, Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I had begun explaining why it is that people want so much to believe all the conspiracy theories relating to the Illuminati, the Free Masons, The Bildebergers, etc.

This is the thing though… this is why I think people by into these fables to the degree that that they do… In doing so… in painting a picture of some ethereal faction of Elite who are devoted to Satanism… people in large measure can excuse their own actions as being constructors of the system.  By placing the motives of the Elite as being Luciferic instead of greed-driven… people can still place all of the blame on the secret cliques of the powerful in spite of the fact that they are just as greedy in their own way.

And listen to me… this is no small issue… It is the truth.  It is not without reason that the Bible goes to such great detail to explain the evils associated with money, riches, and the lust of such things.  In fact the Bible says the love of money is the root of ALL evil… not some evil… the Bible says it is the root of all evil… and that those who are given over to this love… and it is not so much being successful and possessing a lot of money… but just desiring after it… coveting after it as the Bible says.  Well… here is what it says after stating that the love of money is the root of all evil in 1 Timothy 6: 10:

“which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

And isn’t this precisely what American Christianity… in fact the American dream… isn’t this what it is all about? Isn’t it about coveting… isn’t it about the desire to accumulate more… and isn’t it about seeing your neighbor with his new ski boat and praying to the Lord if necessary to bless you with one as well?  I say yes… by and large that is what the American existence is all about… and that is what American Christianity is all about… and I am not just talking about those proponents of the prosperity Gospel… but American Christendom as a whole… which by and large believes God blesses those who are holy before Him with material gain… and curses those who are spiritually lacking with poverty.  It is a belief system guaranteed to make those who have not blame themselves for their financial short comings… and to also desire after the riches of this world… since in the eyes of American Christianity… these riches are the fruits of the faith.

Well… here is the bottom line… this sort of thinking is in no way that of the Lord… and what it is instead is that of the Elite… who must justify their overwhelming hold upon the wealth of the world… what they have done is projected their own moral view concerning money onto the masses… and in order to make it palatable to the masses who would never realize any riches… they have co-opted the doctrine of the Church as a tool to convince people that the unfettered pursuit of riches is a God-ordained right.

This is no new thought I am sharing with you… the Marxists of the late 19^th Century saw this very clearly… though their solutions were wrong.  In particular look at what the 19^th Century Italian Marxist, Antonio Gramsci had to say… and this information is coming to you courtesy of the Wikipedia website.  Their summation of Gramsci’s view explains… and I quote:

“Capitalism, Gramsci suggested, maintained control not just through violence and political and economic coercion, but also ideologically, through a hegemonic culture in which the values of the bourgeoisie (i.e. the moneyed Elite) became the 'common sense' values of all. Thus a consensus culture developed in which people in the working-class identified their own good with the good of the bourgeoisie, and helped to maintain the status quo rather than revolting...

…Gramsci stated that, in the West, bourgeois cultural values (i.e. the cultural values or morality of the moneyed Elite) were tied to Christianity, and therefore much of his polemic against hegemonic culture is aimed at religious norms and values.”

Do you see the point Gramsci is making here?  What he said was that the Elite have successfully convinced the masses to buy into their view of what is right and wrong… and in the view of the Elite… everything revolves around the justification of their wealth… and that which provides justification to the attainment of more and more.  Furthermore… Gramsci says that in the West… the medium through which the Elite establish their hegemonic or in other words dominant cultural view… is through Christianity… and this is what we at Antipas Ministries have been talking about all these years in our pointing out of the alliance, which the Church has made with the Elite and how the message of Christ has been co-opted for a message, which serves to under-pin Elite justification of their wealth.

Well… to bring things back to the whole subject of Conspiracy theories… That which the people should identify as evil… which is the lust for money… the desire for riches… is that which their religion and the Elite has convinced them is Godly.  Yet the people still recognize that something is afoot in this world… they recognize that it seems as if event beyond their control are conspiring against them… and in fact it also seems that the most wealthy and the most powerful act in a concerted way to take what little from them that they already have.

Sadly though… the people are unwilling to recognize the love of money… a.k.a. greed… as the sole source of this… and remember again that God’s Word says that the Love of money is the root of all evil… No instead, the people have… as Gramsci notes… bought into the consensus culture… of which the love of money… the desire for wealth… is held to be noble… and the realization of such in fact a blessing.

So what the people have done… since they refuse to recognize the true cause of the evil in their midst… what they have done instead is turned to these fables… which purport that the Elite are evil because they are part of some Luciferic, Mason, Illuminist Conspiracy… and the terrible thing here is that the Elite really don’t care… in fact I would imagine they rather like this… since it leaves alone the true impetus for their very existence… money… and the desire for more and more.  And what is also terrible here… which is what Steve is in the process of pointing out in the training series on conspiracy theories… is that these fable always lead to anti-Semitism… since that is how they originated… no matter how much the Alex Jones’, Pat Robertson’s, and Jeff Rense’s of the world scrub them clean of such.

And on this note I don’t think the Elite care all that much either… since historically they have always allowed or even promoted the scapegoating of the Jews for their own mistreatment of the masses.  So I’ll say it one more time and then get off this subject… the fact that people are so willing to believe all of these conspiracy theories reveals just how manipulated and just how much of a partaker they have become in the sins of the American Church… the Woman, which rides the Beast… in that they endorse the love of, pursuit of, and coveting of… the very thing, which the Bible typifies as the root of all evil.  So absent being able to identify the true source of evil… of which they have also become partakers… THEY TURN TO THESE FABLES… WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THE BIBLE INDICATES THEY WILL DO WHEN THEY REFUSE TO SEE AND BELIEVE THE TRUTH.

Look… that is just about all the clarity I can provide on this matter… but let me tell you… it is a very critical matter.  I have just a couple more matters to discuss today… and brief matters at that… Before I jump into that though let’s pause once again for another message from those of us here Antipas Ministries.com.

I will also be publishing a couple of guest commentaries.  The first is from Mark Evans… and Mark really does a good job of going into how presently fallen Israel… and the apostate US Church are pushing the world toward the end of the age… all the while thinking that they are doing God’s service.  Well… they may be doing God’s service in the same sense that Pharaoh was… but that is about it.  Mark really does a good job of showing how the point we are at today is something that has been in the works… and has in fact been building… since way back in the days of Darby on through to the Zionist movements of the late 19^th Century.  While I don’t agree with everything, which Mark believes concerning eschatology, theology, etc… I think this piece will be beneficial to everyone.  So please be sure and check out the link to it… which I will provide tomorrow.

Also… I have a commentary from Kato Mivule… a dear friend of ours in Uganda, Africa.  On his own website… Kato highlighted Steve’s recent article on what the US and American Christianity are actually up to in Africa… and in doing so unleashed a firestorm of criticism upon himself… from many of his American readers.  In reply Kato wrote one of the best rebuttals I have seen…  This man is on the ground and has seen and experienced first hand… just what American Christianity and its Empire are up to in their efforts to plunder the riches of the African Continent.  Well… tomorrow I will also provide a link to Kato’s article… and one to his wonderful website… which I encourage everyone to check out.

So with that said… I suppose we ought to turn things over to S.R. Welcome to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host, Sean Mayfield.  It’s Thursday, July 27, 2006 and as has been the case over the past two weeks… there are a lot of critical items to discuss today.  We have the whole situation between Israel and Lebanon, plus the still continuing conflict in Gaza.  Out of this terrible mess it is beginning to look more and more that both the US and Israel are going to push for a much wider war.  Well… I want to spend some time speaking about all of this today.  So I hope you guys are not tired of this discussion yet.

We are also starting Part 1 of a new series from S.R. Shearer.  This new series is, Sowing the Seeds of the Gog/Magog War, and given everything going on in the world right now… it is very appropriate for us to revisit this subject at this time.

Before I get started on all of this however, I do have some preliminary matters to discuss.  For starters… I wanted to let everyone know that we are always doing everything we can to expand our capabilities insofar as bringing this message to you is concerned.  Along these lines I have finally gotten things set up from a technical standpoint to be able to do some different things with these audio broadcasts.  One such thing I plan to do next week is have our own Fred Palmquist here with us for a little Q & A session.  There is a wide gamut of things, which I’m sure well discuss… the training program, Fred’s upcoming plans to visit people that want to be a part of this message, and his thoughts on all the craziness taking place in the world at the moment.

So I hope everyone is sufficiently looking forward to this.  I hope to have Fred along on next Monday’s audio journal… that is the tentative plan.  Plus… in future we will also do some similar sessions with Steve… and as our capabilities expand we’ll try to do even more to make these audio broadcasts an even better resource for all of you out there.  So be sure and do what you can to help us out… by supporting our efforts.

Also… before we jump into the topics for today… I want to follow up on some of the remarks I made last week about false interpretations of prophecy.  I drew upon my past experience with someone who had set the date for the start of the Tribulation as being last July… in other words July of 2005.  Well… though the rest of you probably had no idea who I was talking about… this fellow must have gotten wind of what I said… because he emailed me to let me know how lost and forsaken of the Lord we are… because of all the lying accusations which he helped spread about us… and as an originator obviously believes.  That though…was not the crux of what he had to say… the crux of the matter was that because we have been given over to a reprobate mind we did indeed miss something very important… and this was that the Tribulation started on July 12 of this year 2006.  Here are his exact words on the matter:

“If you still had the gift you would undoubtedly (k)now that the tribulation started on the 12Th of July which just so happens to be 3 1/2 prophetic years to the exact day from Christmas, December 25Th 2009, the giving of gifts one to another Rev.11.10, which is by the way the most apostate Christian holiday there is.  The next thing to happen will be the signing of the covenant with many, but what our Lord calls, the treaty with Death and Hell to be followed shortly there after by the Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38 &39.”

Now look… the only reason I bring this up once again… is not to single this guy out.  The reason is because it is a great opportunity to reinforce a very clear and elementary point concerning the Tribulation, i.e. Daniel’s 70^th Week.  This Seven year time period can indeed be divided into two segments.  The first 3 ½ years is a time period, which Jesus defines as the Beginning of Sorrows in Matthew 24… and the second 3 ½ years is the time, which He identifies as that of GREAT TRIBULATION… at the end of this time period Babylon the Great is destroyed and God pours His wrath out upon the nations during the DAY OF THE LORD… and these two 3 ½ year time periods are divided by an event known in Biblical parlance as the Abomination of Desolation.

To go back to what will indeed be the start of the Tribulation though… what the guy who wrote me is trying to do is taking the passage of Scripture, which describes the loyal subjects of Antichrist giving gift to one another in celebration of the annihilation of those who testify as the Two Witnesses… and use this as the date for the mid-point of the Tribulation… and since gifts are involved he extrapolates this to interpret that it must be Christmas time when this takes places… which is somewhat of stretch… but not beyond the realm of possibility… though the reason people are giving gifts at this point is not out of Holiday spirit… but their soulish joy in having finally silenced the testimony of the Two Witnesses… which is a testimony that indicts them… all the way to the center of their being.

Anyway though… what this guy does is go back and count 3 ½ years back to arrive at the July 12 date.  This is what he did last year… and since the Tribulation didn’t start then… he simply readjusted things for this year.  I guess when he realizes the Tribulation didn’t start of July 12 of this year he will revise things again for 2007.

Now there are a couple of things to make note of here… since what this guy is saying is blatantly untrue… and even a cursory study of God’s Word should make that clear.  One thing to mention… of which I am not sure if this guy is aware… is that the Old Testament says that false prophets are to be stoned… so I wonder if he is willing to endure that… especially since I am sure he would love the opportunity to stone me for those beams he wants to take out of my eyes?  Now I am being somewhat facetious here… because as a believer and lover of Jesus Christ… I want no part of stoning anyone… nor of even judging anyone… There is one who judges such matters… and I will let Him do His job.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  Before the break I was talking about a false prophecy someone sent me… which indicates that the Tribulation has already started… on July 12 of this year to be exact.  I am bringing this matter up because I want to be very clear as to why the prophecy this fellow made is not true.  It is not true because there is one single event, which is to begin Daniel’s 70^th Week, i.e. that 7 year period of time identified as the Tribulation… and that event is the signing of the Treaty between the Antichrist and his nation Babylon the Great… and Israel.  Concerning this fact Steve wrote the following in the Antipas Papers… and I quote:

The Bible says:

"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." (Dan. 9:27a)

The living Bible translates this passage thus:

"This king [Antichrist] will make a seven year TREATY with the people [Israel], but after half that time, he will break his pledge and stop the Jews from all their sacrifices and their offerings; then as a climax to all his terrible deeds, the enemy [Antichrist] shall utterly defile the sanctuary of God [which is to say, he shall commit the Abomination of Desolation]." (Daniel 9:27a LB)

Concerning this treaty "made with the many for one week," J. Dwight Pentecost writes:

"According to Daniel 9:26-27 the prince of the Roman empire (i.e., the West, called Babylon) will make a covenant with Israel for a seven year period. This covenant evidently ... guarantees Israel's integrity [is a defense pact] ... [and] also is a Satanic imitation of the fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant (see chapter 3 - this book) which ... [guaranteed] Israel title deed to the land. This action is pictured by John [in the Apocalypse] (Rev. 16:2) as a rider going forth to conquer [as the first horseman in the Apocalypse] ... This condition exists for three and one-half years, after which the covenant is broken by the ... [Antichrist]."

The treaty will be in the form of a defense pact between Israel and Prophetic Babylon and will be directed against Israel's enemies - most likely a coalition of Islamic fundamentalist states in the Middle East. The Scripture calls this agreement between Israel and Prophetic Babylon as "YOUR COVENANT WITH DEATH" and " YOUR AGREEMENT WITH HELL:"

"Wherefore, hear the word of the Lord, ye ... men that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

"Because ye have said, We have made a COVENANT WITH DEATH, AND WITH HELL (Prophetic Babylon) are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us ...

"(But) ... your COVENANT WITH DEATH shall be disannulled, and your AGREEMENT WITH HELL shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it." (Isaiah 28:14-15, 18)

Why does the Bible use such strong language with regard to this covenant? - because it is an abomination to God for His people to trust in anything but the hand of God! It is a fearful thing for the people of God [be that people Israel or the church] to trust in gentile world power. God calls it "harlotry!"

The consummation of this treaty will signify the beginning of the Seventieth Week - the Tribulation period! Concerning this matter, Sir Robert Anderson writes:

"... the Seventieth Week [the seven year period of the Tribulation] will be a definite period of time, of which the beginning, the middle, and the end are definitely marked [by certain well defined]. [Just as the beginning of the first sixty-nine weeks were signified] ... not by the return of the Jews from Babylon, nor yet by the rebuilding of their Temple, but by the SIGNING OF THE PERSIAN DECREE [TREATY] which restored ... [them], so also the beginning of the Seventieth Week will date not from their restoration to Judea [May 14, 1948], nor yet from the future rebuilding of their shrine, but from the SIGNING OF THE [DEFENSE] TREATY BY THE COMING PRINCE [ANTICHRIST]."

Now I realize that was a very lengthy quote… but I wanted to provide all the evidence Steve offered on this subject… because I want to be very, very clear… the beginning of the Tribulation, i.e. Daniel’s 70^th Week… is not to be deduced by counting backward from Christmas 2009, 2010, or any other year… there is nothing Biblical about that.  Instead… the Bible clearly tells us that the 70^th week of Daniel begins with the signing of the defense treaty… i.e. the Treaty with Death and Hell… which Israel is to sign with the Antichrist… and to be clear here… there is no vagary involved, which would allow one to say that, “well yeah the treaty is the start… but it doesn’t have to be exactly on that day… it could come a little later.”  You cannot say this because the days given from the signing of the treaty… to its breach by the Antichrist… and from that point to the end of the seven years… are explicitly stated in Biblical prophecy… and Day 1 begins with the signing of the Treaty.

Hey listen… I could talk about this stuff all day long… I really could… and in one sense I will… but coming at things from a different angle.  Yet before I continue… let’s pause once again so that we can listen to another message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was wrapping up some very elementary points concerning when the Bible says the Tribulation, i.e. Daniel’s 70^th Week, will start.  It will start with the signing of Treaty between the Antichrist… i.e. the king of Babylon the Great… and this nation is of course the United States of America.  Well this treaty will between the Antichrist and Israel… and here is the point… At this moment as we speak… it appears things are rapidly heading toward this conclusion.

Along these lines… Steve pointed out in his most recent article, THE CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST: WHAT IT'S REALLY ALL ABOUT… well, he pointed out that this present conflict between Israel, Hezbollah, and Hamas… is one, which both Israel and the US hope to use to create the atmosphere necessary for an expanded attack by both against Iran and Syria.  In putting the pieces together… the conclusion, which Steve came to was that the ultimate end will be a situation in which the only way Israel’s security and existence can be guaranteed is through their agreeing to this defense treaty… or protection pact with the United States.

I do have to tell you… I can certainly see how where we are at right now… could lead us to that point.  If this war is indeed widened into a regional war between the US and Israel on the one side… and Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran, and Syria on the other side… it is easy to see how this could lead us to that treaty.

If the US and Israel begin a campaign against Iran and Syria… it will rock the Muslim World.  Their worst fears about US imperial ambitions… will in their eyes be realized.  They will also be led to believe… that their worst fears about Israel are true as well and in a larger sense will hold Israel ultimately responsible for bringing this all to bear.

Throw in the fact that any US attack against Iran may well involve the use of tactical nuclear weapons… and you are looking at a scenario in which there is no other entity… be it the UN, NATO or whatever… that could in anyway guarantee security to the Israelis… and the nations, which make up these entities in all honesty do not want to make such a guarantee anyway… and this would be all the more so should the US use nukes… since they too will probably in some way blame the Israelis for causing things to get to that point.

Once again… in this environment… the only way the Israelis can be guaranteed security… without letting them unleash their own nuclear arsenal against a Muslim World that would probably begin in earnest to strike back for the devastation to be unleashed against Iran and Syria… well, the only way there could be any sort of peace or security… so that the resources of the region can continue to be exploited is for the US to promise to defend Israel against any attack… or probably even the overture of an attack.

This my friends may very well be how events unfold and lead us to the signing of this treaty… which as I said much earlier today is the actual starting point of Daniel’s 70^th Week.  And concerning the idea that events very well may unfold this way… check out what Jorge Hirsch, Professor of Physics at the University of California at San Diego and a fellow of the American Physical Society has to say.  Now Hirsch is not just some Physics professor… instead he has been an active researcher and analyst on the use of nuclear weapons, US nuclear policy, and how this all relates to the coming war with Iran.  Well… in a recent article over on the Information Clearinghouse website… Hirsch says, and I quote:

“Members of the Jewish faith and others correctly point out that Jews are often blamed for the sins of others. They may be about to be proven right again, in a big way. The current conflict may escalate to the point where the US will use nuclear weapons against Iran, in what will be the first use of nuclear weapons in war since Nagasaki. And the world will blame it on the Jews.

Israel's hugely disproportionate response to Hezbollah's actions is causing immense suffering, is in blatant violation of the Geneva conventions, and deserves the strongest of condemnations…

The irony is, Israel's war crimes are going to be dwarfed in comparison to the crime against humanity that will take place if the US uses nuclear weapons against Iran. Israel, by its disproportionate reaction and by accusing Iran (without proof) of being behind Hezbollah's actions [1], [2], [3] , [4], will be seen as having played a key role if the conflict escalates to engulf Iran and the United States. Yet the motivation for those that want this to happen [1], [2] is not to ensure Israel's hegemony in the Middle East, rather it is to ensure US hegemony in the world.”

I do have to say that Hirsch really understands what is going on here… though he may not be aware that this is all leading to some sort of Treaty… especially the prophetic implications involved.  But at the heart of this… as Hirsch points out… is the fact that the motivation of the US Elite… who are indeed those who want the regional war… is to ensure US Hegemony in the world… and eliminating Iran in particular as a regional threat will go a long way toward accomplishing this.  Also what Hirsch has to say regarding the fact that Israel will pinned for the blame in all of this is quite astute as well… and will furthermore create an environment, which will hasten the Treaty… which will in turn hasten the initiation of the Gog/Magog War.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about how this present conflict in the Middle East will be morphed into a regional war between the US and Israel against Iran and Syria and how all of this will lead to an environment in which there will have to be a Treaty between the US and Israel.

As I side note here… I want to share something else, which Hirsch made mention of in the article I quoted earlier… concerning the US rationale for not only wanting to attack Iran… but to use nuclear weapons in the execution of said attack.  Hirsch says… and I quote:

“A US attack on Iran has been predicted by analysts for several years. The US policy vis-a-vis Iran is clearly directed towards confrontation rather than accommodation. There are many reasons for the US to attack Iran, including the control of energy resources, suppression of a regional power opposite to US and Israeli interests, etc. However I have argued for many months that the key reason for the US to seek a military confrontation with Iran is that it will "force" the US to cross the nuclear threshold and use low yield nuclear weapons against Iranian installations. And this is seen as essential to further US geopolitical goals.

The United States used nuclear weapons against Japan not because it had to. It did so to demonstrate to the world that it was in possession of a new weapon that packed the destructive power of thousands of bombing missions into a single one. To tell the rest of the world, beware.

Since then, it has spent over 5 trillion dollars in building up its nuclear arsenal, but nuclear weapons have become "unusable" after 60 years of non-use. America has achieved nuclear primacy but it is useless, until it shows that nuclear weapons are usable again...

And next… Hirsch details how the justification will be made for the use of such weapons when he says:

… Once Iran is drawn into a conflict and shoots a single missile against Israel or US forces in the region, the US administration will argue that the next Iranian missile could carry chemical or biological warheads and cause untold casualties among Americans, Iraqis or Israelis. A low yield nuclear bunker buster will be touted as the most "humane" way to prevent further loss of life…

… Americans will buy… (this) …argument because it will be true: American troops in Iraq will be sitting ducks facing Iranian missiles, with or without WMD warheads.

After the US uses nuclear weapons again, it will have established the usability of its nuclear arsenal against non-nuclear countries. It will be possible to wage war "on the cheap", saving many American lives in future conflicts. "Support the troops" is the one thing all Americans, no matter how diverse their views are, agree on.”

Do you see what Hirsch is getting at here?  Do you see how all of this may very well unfold?  Do you see how the US is going to morph this into a regional war against Iran and Syria… and how they will be able to justify the use of nuclear weapons?  I certainly hope so… because I really do.  And while I am not saying things are going to go down exactly like this… I really and truly do see this as not so far off the mark.  And also certainly see the aftermath of such a future as one in which a Treaty guaranteeing Israel’s protection by the US… will be the only way she can be secure without launching her own nuclear warheads against a legion of Muslim enemies rallied for revenge and encompassing her on all sides.

Hey… all the evidence is there to also show that the US does not want this present fight between Israel and Hezbollah to end until it has indeed escalated into a regional conflict.  Just look at how the US is doing everything it can to sabotage peace talks and any work toward securing a cease-fire.  In the past week there has been more than one plea for the US to step in and use their power to bring an end to the violence… but the US response can pretty much be summed up as opposing a cease-fire except as part of a broader arrangement that can endure for years, as a recent Washington Post article stated.  In other words… the US does not want a cease fire that will impede its plans to remake the Middle East… and included in that is this quote-unquote broader arrangement meant to endure for years… maybe 7 years huh?

Bottom line here people is that the US has no real desire to do anything that will prevent them from getting a crack at Iran… and Syria.  I imagine they will keep up the diplomatic charade… but to go back to something, which Wayne Madsen said… and I reported upon in the last Audio Broadcast… What the Israelis and the US appear to be doing is canceling all the previous treaties, agreements, and accords in the region…as a part of the US plan to remake and completely control it… and through this the world.

There will be no agreements, cease-fires, or anything made, which will impede US plans to attack Iran… nor will there be any made, which inhibit the coming Treaty… all the US has to do now is ensure that the environment in the world is one in which their partners, junior partners, and rivals… will acknowledge this treaty as the only solution… outside of an all out Israeli nuclear strike against the enemies encompassing her.

Now… those who know prophecy know that this Treaty will not prevent these enemies from attacking… as would be the hope of America’s allies… and even her rivals… but that it will instead hasten said attack.  Yet I really believe that this too is what the Elite desire… they want to finish the job.  I don’t mean to trivialize things by using an expression like that… but they really do want to eliminate all threats to their hegemony in the region…and throughout the world.  Concurrently…as this thing continues to explode… the nations of the world will come to realize that the US is the only nation militarily capable of ending the conflict in the Middle East… and all nations want this due to their dependence upon the oil reserves of the region.

While they may not like the idea of the US having complete control over these resources… they still need them… regardless of who is in control… otherwise the entire world economy will implode upon itself.  What they don’t realize though… is that once the US establishes itself in complete control… all other nations will be chattel to the beast… and once the world sees that the US is willing to use nuclear weapons they will also realize… given the overwhelming superiority the US possesses here… that there is really not all that much they can do to unseat the US beast… a point, which during the Tribulation will proven quite horrifically… and finally… isn’t this what the Bible indicates when in the book of Revelation it depicts the people of the world exclaiming:

“Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

Now I realize that we are not there yet… there is still much to take place… and the call upon those who love the truth is to testify on behalf of the Lord.  The call upon those within the belly of the beast… in other words those still within the US… is to come out of that nation… because if you stay behind… you will be changed.  You will be transformed… you will become a partaker in her sins… and this is not my own opinion but that of the Lord Himself.  He says to come out… and that if you do not you will become a partaker in the sins of Babylon the Great… and will receive of it’s judgments.

This is serious business… but like I said… we are not there yet… though the call to come out is given in the here and now.  What we are looking at now is the world lurching toward the coming Treaty between the US and Israel… which will begin Daniel’s 70^th Week… and will be followed by the Gog/Magog War.  And with that said I’ll go ahead and shut things down for today… turn things over to Steve for Part 1 of His series, entitled Sowing the Seeds of the Gog/Magog War… for further details on how all of this will come to pass.  Before we jump into that however… lets pause once again so we can listen to another message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Alright everyone, you’re listening to the Antipas Audio Journal… here at www.antipasministries.com and I’m you’re host… Sean Mayfield.  It’s Monday, July 24, 2006 and my-oh-my… the world sure is being shaken to and fro right now isn’t it?  For anyone hoping that the weekend would see some sort of cessation or down turn in the hostilities taking place in Israel and Lebanon… look’s like it is not going to work out that way.  Additionally… and this is something that has been pretty effectively buried in the news… what with the present conflict between Hezbollah and the IDF dominating the airwaves… Iraq is really and truly reaching another level insofar as sectarian violence and insurgent attacks are concerned.

All in all the world is not a very safe place right now… and most especially the Middle East.  Over the weekend we all did our best to be busy and productive… but it was hard to not get drawn into spending hours watching the grim spectacle of war being played out before our eyes courtesy of CNN, BBC, and CBC.  I am not sure how much different the coverage we are getting here in Canada is from that our friends in Europe are getting… and most especially from that our friends in America are getting… but one thing that has really surprised me is how the quote-unquote liberal media… actually appears to have aligned their sympathies with the Israelis in this campaign.

Well… I have some thoughts about that… and also some matters related to the information and analysis Steve provided in the special article he released on Friday, which is entitled: THE CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST: WHAT ITS REALLY ALL ABOUT.  Additionally… we have Part 6 of Steve’s series on Radical Islam on tap for today.  So all in all… I think we have a pretty good program lined up… in addition to everything already mentioned… I am hoping that everything I cover during today’s broadcast will help clarify some of the more common emails we have received lately… regarding our stance via Israel, Islam, and the part the US is playing in deceiving the one and destroying the other.

Hey welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I’m your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break we were just about to get rolling on the subject matter on line for today… So let’s go ahead and do so now.

For starters… I wanted to discuss how the mainstream media has been treating the war going on in Lebanon.  As I mentioned earlier… I have watched a ton of coverage on CNN, BBC, and CBC… and one thing that has struck me is how surprisingly favorable to the Israelis the coverage has been overall.  This is not to say that there have not been some critical pieces and segments along the way… but all in all… it appears that Israeli and American interests have been honored in the coverage.

Well… I do believe this shows just how far along the prophetic timeline we are.  And the reason I say this… is because as Steve noted in his most recent article on the Mid East… which came out last Friday…the sentiment required among America’s allies in Europe and the Canadians… is one, which will acquiesce to the coming regional war… and treaty to be signed between the US and Israel.  Whereas in times past… the international press has been very critical of Israeli actions related to Palestinians and Lebanon… this time the sentiment seems to be that Israeli action… while regrettable… is nonetheless understandable… given the circumstances.

What I also think this shows is just how powerful the US Elite are… given that when you strip this thing down to the bone… they are the architects and ultimate beneficiaries of this conflict… and more specifically… what it is leading up to.  Now what I mean by this is that the coverage offered even outside of the US… is much more pro-Israel than I anticipated… and whether or not this indicates that the US Elite have the ability to manipulate the news internationally… or that their junior partners in these countries are working toward the same goals… the point is that the public is being primed to not just accept this present conflict… but the larger war, which is looming on the horizon.

And regarding this larger war… which is something Steve went over in detail in his most recent article… it is something, which the Americans and the Israelis are both pursuing… for slightly different reasons of course.  As Steve showed quite conclusively… the US wants this war as a way to continue their plan to take full control over the oil riches of the Middle East… while the Israelis… given the predicament they are in regarding the Palestinians… believe that not just Hezbollah… but also Iran and Syria must be eliminated as threats to their survival.

Regarding the fact that the present military action is part of a larger plan… Steve said:
