In S.R. Shearer’s latest article he talks about the machine that is the American New World Order System.  He talks about how it devours and destroys everything in its path.  He also talks about the “greatest sin” of the machine… that it puts a Christian stamp on its murderous rampage.

This is the great dividing line… the litmus test between the evil perpetrated by the US and that done by the other nations of the world.  The other nations of the world do not sell themselves as Christian nations.  They do not go about the world extorting, robbing, pillaging, raping, and murdering in the name of Christ.  This is the province of the US alone.  It is the self-professing “light of the world.”  It is the self-proclaimed beacon of hope.  As George W. Bush, a professing Christian himself has said on many occasions… it is the charge and duty of the United States to bring God’s ideals of freedom to the world by hunting down and rendering justice unto all evil-doers, who would seek to do harm to the US.

What this is really all about is self-righteous justification of greed and avarice on a scale not seen before in the annals of history.  The US is no bastion of freedom… particularly in the sense that Christ describes freedom.  It is also most definitely not a force of Christ-like goodness mandated by God to rid the world of evil.  A true definition of the US is that of a Theocracy… founded on apostate doctrine… which elevates power, wealth, and privilege to be the true definition of “good”.  The reality is that “good” in the eyes of God has little or nothing to do with what men think the term to be.  “Good” in God’s eyes is that which magnifies His glory.  “Good” in God’s eyes is that which testifies of His Son.

Yet the antichrist system… cloaked in the trappings of Christ… is the system, which rules the world.  There is not a nation in existence that is able to fully shield itself from the power and wrath of this terrible entity.  Yet the lot ascribed to them in no way compares to that which is destined to befall those who remain within.

You see… as bad as it is to be persecuted, tortured, murdered, impoverished, or enslaved by the American New World Order System… it is even worse to be a partaker in its sins.  As bad as it is to be oppressed by this beast from without… it is all the more worse to be consumed from within.

Once again, the danger of being consumed from within is the greatest danger of all!  The system is rigged to insure this happens.  The Elites control the media, the Church, and of course the economy… and once again, as S.R. Shearer put forth in his latest article, the machine they have constructed is not designed to bend one’s will towards Christ… but instead towards their own satanic desires.

Contemplate for a moment the recent words by President Bush.  He stated just today that violence, bloodshed, and suffering going on Iraq is “worth it.”  Worth what?  Is it worthy of Christ?  Does it bring honor to His sacrifice?  Does it reflect His glory?  Come on… it is the leadership and citizenry of the US who have gone out there and proclaimed the US to be a Christian nation.  In this respect their actions are only judged as worthy insomuch as they are Christ-like and fulfilling the will of the Father.  Does what the US is up to in Iraq meet this standard… or instead, when Bush says it is worth it… does he mean the tens of thousands of Iraqis and thousands of Americans who have been wounded and killed in Iraq are worth the carnal goals of the US Elites? … Goals that have everything to do with profits and power… and nothing to do with our Lord and Savior.

A very relevant point to consider in all this is that those in power are not done yet… heck… they are really just getting started.  The same pathology that is leading to the slaughter in Iraq is at play in the build-up to war in Iran.  Recent Iranian elections cementing the hard-line towards the US are but another stepping stone in the path to the next phase of the war.  And just like with Iraq… the right wing, Elite controlled press is stoking the flames to further the war and bloodshed.  These people do not want Christ to be glorified… They want wealth and power on an empirical worldwide scale… and they care not who or what gets destroyed in the process.

Christians who have studied prophecy often involve themselves in speculative thought on how the things, which must come to pass will actually come to pass.  Thoughts of the identity of the antichrist, when the tribulation will begin, and such have more often than not already been mulled over in the minds of those with a deep interest in prophecy.

There are many who speculate that George W. Bush may actually be the antichrist.  They look at his ability to lie and convince the American people that he serves Christ and see the characteristics of antichrist.  They see how Bush has brought the US into a war of great destruction and oppression in the name of Christianity and see the antichristian nature involved.  They make note of Bush’s true service to the rich and powerful while merely giving lip service to the principles of the faith and see a man that could very well be the “coming man of sin.”

Many looking at G.W. Bush in this light are wondering how he will be able to extend his “reign” over the US beyond the end of his term in January of 2009.  Will there be some terrible disaster or terrorist attack, which allows him to seize dictatorial powers in the US?  Will a World War, likely to be the Gog Magog War, provide the same opportunity?

I don’t know… To be honest, I don’t really know whether or not Bush is the antichrist.  I do believe the antichrist is going to be the leader (or ruler) of the US and as such it is plausible that Bush could be the man of sin… yet at this point I am still open.  We won’t know for sure who this terrible world-ruler is to be until the commencement of Daniel’s 70^th Week… when he (the antichrist) makes his treaty or agreement with Israel. [In Isaiah 28 the Bible calls this treaty Israel’s “covenant with death” and an agreement with hell.  It is further expounded upon in Daniel chapters 9 and 11.]

The question in this case is how will this ruler maintain power in respect to the US Constitution and its electoral process.  As noted above, the right kind of calamity or series of events could bestow upon a US president dictatorial powers and the suspension of the constitution and the electoral process… or something else could take place.  Currently no US president can serve more than two terms.  The 22^nd Amendment to the US Constitution insured that upon its passage in 1951.  In light of this George Bush’s presidency will be over in January of 2009 when whoever were to win the 2008 campaign would be inaugurated.  Yet there is now more than idle talk about repealing the 22^nd Amendment.  An actual resolution to appeal the Amendment has been submitted in the US House of Representatives.  Whether or not this resolution will actually come to fruition is anyone’s guess… just as it is still to early to say definitively who the antichrist is… but repealing the 22^nd Amendment would make it possible for GW Bush to be elected again and would open up one more avenue towards providing him with the time frame to fulfill some scary prophecies.

While at this point we don’t how all this is going to play out… there are matters, which we can see a little more clearly.  We can see clearly that US war efforts in Iraq are not going to desist anytime soon.  We can also speculate fairly safely that these efforts are going to expand from Iraq into other areas in the Middle East.  Syria and Iran are the two most prominent targets and there is news currently out there stating the attack on Iran has already begun… not the actual troops and air-sortie part of the campaign, but the positioning of troops, air units, support units, and special-ops-type excursions into the country.  This is alarming news… which gives even more of an indication that the US is committing itself to a whole-scale civilization conflict with the Muslim World; and that we are inching ever closer to the scenario of the Gog Magog War, which along with the Treaty with Death and Hell, will usher in Daniel’s 70^th Week.

At this point in time it is still worth taking a look at exactly whom the folks making all of this terrible stuff possible really are.  They are professing Christians, first and foremost.  They are also not one bit afraid to invoke the name of Christ in service of their terrible crimes.  Nothing is sacred to these men and the truth is malleable at best in their hands.

Look at Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist for example.  Frist proudly and defiantly identifies himself as a conservative believer in Jesus Christ.  He has been a staunch proponent of the war, the Patriot Act, the use of torture, and gutting healthcare and social assistance programs.  Frist is also a licensed physician who stood on the frontlines of the politicized Terry Schiavo case.  He stated as a doctor himself, that it was clear Schiavo was not in a vegetative state, that she was responsive, and that she had improved in condition in some areas.  He ran with the pack that characterized the doctors who diagnosed her as a vegetable as incompetent quacks.  He also ran with the pack that equated the judges who refused to halt Schiavo’s feeding tube removal as extremist, liberal murderers.

Well, now the full evidence on Schiavo is finally coming out after her recent autopsy.  Schiavo was a vegetable.  She was blind, and had no cognitive abilities at all.  So now what does Frist the Christian physician do?  Does he admit that he was wrong about statements on Schiavo?  No instead he says he never said them… even though he is on tape doing so.

It may seem like I am grinding the axe a bit here… but I assure you I am not.  Some of you may also latch onto the issue of Schiavo and accuse me of supporting her murder.  I am not doing that either.  What I am doing is pointing out that one of the most powerful Christian politicians in the United States, a man some believe could be President some day, used his status as a physician to assess and publicly comment upon Schiavo’s condition in such a way as to discredit the medical evaluations of the professional, court-appointed attendees… and when the evidence proved him wrong he denied ever doing so.

This is American Christianity in a nutshell.  And what of all the other powerful Christian leaders who lied and purposefully obfuscated the facts on this matter?  None of them have spoken a word of apology for their lies.  To these men, the end (keeping Schiavo alive) justified the means (lying about the extent of her brain damage and attacking the medical professionals and family members who said she was a vegetable).

These are men like the powerful President of the Family Research Council, Tony Perkins.  Perkins is a “rising star” in the ranks of the Religious Right… and he has proven that no lie is too outrageous to spread, no slander is too damaging to withhold, and no hatemonger is too vile to enlist when it comes to winning America for his version of Christ and the Church.

In addition to being a major player in the whole sordid Schiavo saga, he also has a past linked to David Duke, the Ku Klux Klan, the Council of Conservative Citizens and other hate groups.  Media Transparency’s recent expose on Perkins highlighted these connections in their quotation of information from an April 2005 article by Max Blumenthal in The Nation, which states:

“Blumenthal wrote that in 1996, while Perkins was running the campaign of longtime conservative Woodie Jenkins, the right-wing Republican candidate for the US Senate in Louisiana, he ‘paid former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke $82,500 for his mailing list.’

Blumenthal explained:

For years, Jenkins had been grooming Perkins as his political successor. ‘To Jenkins, Perkins was like a son, and the feeling was and is mutual,’ wrote former Jenkins staffer Christopher Tidmore. In 1996 Perkins cut his teeth as the manager of Jenkins's campaign for US Senate. It was during that campaign that, in an attempt to consolidate the support of Louisiana's conservative base, Perkins paid David Duke $82,000 for his mailing list. After Jenkins was defeated by his Democratic opponent, Mary Landrieu, he contested the election. But during the contest period, Perkins's surreptitious payment to Duke was exposed through an investigation conducted by the FEC, which fined the Jenkins campaign.

Six years later, in 2002, Perkins embarked on a campaign to avenge his mentor's defeat by running for the US Senate himself. But Perkins was dogged with questions about his involvement with David Duke. Perkins issued a flat denial that he had ever had anything to do with Duke, and he denounced him for good measure. Unfortunately, Perkins's signature was on the document authorizing the purchase of Duke's list. Perkins's dalliance with the racist Council of Conservative Citizens in the run-up to his campaign also illuminates the seamy underside of his political associations. Despite endorsements from James Dobson and a host of prominent CNP members, Perkins was not even the leading Republican in the senatorial race.”

Now Perkins sits atop one of the most powerful Christian groups in the United States.  He has the full backing of James Dobson and his powerful Focus On The Family Empire.  He is also an unapologetic liar and friend to some of the most damaging voices of racism and bigotry that exist in the United States.  He does all this as a professing Christian leader in a professing Christian nation and hardly a soul among the masses calls his bluff.

What should we expect though?  By and large the American people, Christians included, do not want to know the truth.  They don’t want to know the underbellies of men like Frist and Perkins any more than they want to know the truth about the lies and deception George W. used to bring us to war with Iraq.  Take the issue of the Downing Street Memos for example.  All the facts have been plainly laid out on the table.  They all point to clear, unequivocal evidence that Bush and his team purposefully lied about and manipulated the evidence to bring about war with Iraq.  They prove he started bombing and killing innocent civilians (women and children included) in 2002 in a callous attempt to bait Saddam Hussein into giving the US a reason to invade.  They prove he lied so that he could kill and destroy the lives of others.  Yet the Church sits silent in support of their Christian President.  Heck, he is still lying about it.  Just four days ago Bush blamed the 9/11 attack as the reason for our invading Iraq, when in a radio address he said:

"We went to war because we were attacked, and we are at war today because there are still people out there who want to harm our country and hurt our citizens."

These are the men who hold the reins of power in the US and they are the one’s who claim to represent Christ on earth.  They are liars.  They are deceivers.  They are murderers… and they are men of greed.  They lust after wealth and power no matter the cost to others and no matter the cost to their supposed faith in Christ.  It is this “Christian” element, which separates the US from any other nation on the face of the earth.  There is violence in every nation.  There is poverty in every nation.  There is immorality and relativism in every nation.  Yet the US alone is setting out to conquer the world for Christ.  The US alone condones lying, murder, torture, and oppression as tools of Christian statecraft.  The US alone condemns sinners to hell while propping itself up on the bloated corpses of those it has slain in the name of Christ.

So many Christians are so busy chasing after liberals, homosexuals, abortionists, new-agers, pornographers, and rock musicians that they fail to see the raping and pillaging of the world being perpetrated by their own hands and those they call their leaders.  They fail to see this because they choose not to see.  It’s one thing to cast stones at sinners while riding by in your Lexus… but it’s another thing entirely to judge by the whole of the law and judge yourself a sinner as well.

The American Church only wants the outside of the cup clean.  They could care less about the inside.  Just put the Ten Commandments on the wall of every courtroom and schoolhouse, pray before every ball game, take the porn off the tube and the queers off the streets, make abortion illegal, and God’s will on earth will be done in their eyes… No matter the slaughter of innocents taking place abroad, the oppression of the poor and weak at home, or the avarice and lust for money that rules their everyday lives… just put another coat of whitewash on the outside of the tomb and everything will be as God wants.

It is for this reason God is calling His children out of the United States.  There is no hope within its boundaries.  Those still within need to witness on the way out… Yet don’t so much witness to the Dobson acolyte cruising by in his SUV on the way to softball practice… witness to the poor, the broken-hearted, and the downtrodden.  There is more hope for them than those who already claim Christ and the riches of this world as their birthright.

Christ said:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised," Luke 4: 18

Preach His message to these self-same people on your way out and let Him move their hearts to accept Him and do the same.

Dark times are upon us… yet our hope and glory is in Him.  It is not in America, nor any other corner of the world.  It is in Him.  I began this missive by commenting upon prophecy and speculation upon its playing out.  While we don’t know all the facts yet… we do know the times in which we live.  The US is Babylon the Great, it is allied with a false and deadly form of Christianity, and in league they are setting out to conquer the world.  This unholy union will birth the antichrist.  It will make treaty with Israel and it will bring about a terrible war, encompassing most of the Middle East.  These events will usher in Daniel’s 70^th Week, i.e. the Tribulation.

It bodes well for true believers to make hay while the sun still shines.  Obey God’s commandments.  American Christians need to flee the US.  All believers must be a witness throughout the world… because all the events of prophecy, as laid out in the Bible… will come to pass and our Savior will return.  Let us not be found wanting on that day.

No matter how much you love the truth, life is always a constant battle between the search and service of it over against the distractions of the world.  Believe me when I tell you… the world has made perpetuating distractions and leading the gaze of mankind away from the truth an art form.  The whole of the system is literally constructed to pull men away from the truth and to instead deliver them into the arms of their own carnal passions, moral fortresses, foolish interests, and idle past times.

Those holding the reins of power in this present world know full well the proclivities of men and use them towards their own advantage.  Look at the media for a simple example of what I am talking about.  Soldiers, civilians, and insurgents are dying by the scores in Iraq.  The whole of the Middle East and Central Asia is a cauldron on the verge of erupting. War in Iran and/or Syria is looming on the horizon.  Bolivia is on the edge of revolution. Venezuela is getting further locked into a showdown with the US… And Israel and Palestine are still in the midst of major crisis.  With all this going on one would think the news would be rife with coverage on these matters.  Next consider the situation within the US; where battles over the Patriot Act, the Downing Street Memos, Social Security, the Draft, the stagnation of the economy, and the battle over the judiciary should be dominating the news coverage.

Yet instead of providing the viewing public with important and substantial news items related to these very serious matters; we have instead been treated to the spectacles of the Michael Jackson trial, the runaway bride, the Robert Blake trial, the Scott Peterson trial, and many other such trivial fare.  Now, I do realize that to those directly involved in these matters, there was nothing at all trivial about them.  However, to the average American… don’t you think what is going on in Iraq or with Social Security is just a little bit more important?  Shouldn’t coverage of the rundown to war with Iran take precedent over coverage of the sad and sick life of Michael Jackson?

In the end what the US ends up doing with Iran is going to affect everyone’s lives a heck of a lot more than anything that has taken place in the Santa Monica courtroom, which tried his case.  Yet the news media claims they are just giving the American people what they want.  What they don’t tell you is that they are also filling you with pabulum so that you will be too sated to spend much if any time looking for the hard truth on the issues of real importance.  The media is owned by the Elites… the same Elites who stand to make trillions off America’s wars, brutal regimes in Latin America, and the privatization of Social Security.  They can more easily secure their booty through further transforming the US into a police state and remaking the judiciary into an ultra-rightwing apparatus.

Because of this situation it is in the best interest of the Elites to have the media continue pushing celebrity scandals, trials, and other such absurdities upon the American people as real and important news.  It plays into their desire to squelch any real revelation or discussion of the facts on the truth of what is going on in the world today.

Remember back when the OJ trial was dominating the news and American society as a whole?  Well, that’s also when they rammed NAFTA through the House and Senate… with hardly any real reporting on what was going on.  This was done even though a scant 2 years earlier over 80% of the American people stood in opposition to the Agreement.  Yet, all it took was round-the-clock coverage of the OJ trial to pull people’s attention away from the hijacking of millions of American jobs.

This same game plan is still in play.  While Americans followed every twist and turn of the Jackson trial… as reported upon and analyzed by the news channels and network news programs… The larger issues of our day have gone unreported or under-reported at best.  Even many with a heart for the truth have been swept up in the spectacle of it all… as they probably will be when the next big celebrity scandal or runaway bride stumbles into the spotlight.

But while America slumbers the world goes on… The powerful continue to exert their will over the powerless and the rich continue to steal from the poor.  Examine what is happening in Ghana for proof of this.  It seems the national poultry industry is under severe attack from the IMF.  Subsidized European and American imports are destroying Ghana’s own poultry producers and placing Ghana further into the position of many African nations that can no longer feed themselves… due to IMF destruction of their indigenous agricultural base.

Who cares if 20 million people are placed closer to the brink of starvation in Ghana… or if hundreds of millions can no longer afford to feed themselves due to the dictates of the corporate bottom lines in the US and Europe.  What is important here is the profits to be made by expanding into Third world markets… not the fact that the predatory expansion practiced by the Corporate Elites destroys a nations ability to provide for itself.  Apparently Christian America doesn’t care… since they are the most ardent supporters of the American New World Order system… and travesties such as this.

As we have said a million times on this website, what the American Church wants is a theocracy.  They want their version of a Christian America that is radically pro market, radically conservative, and militantly against any separation of Church and State.  If you want to get just a small idea of what the future looks like… then check out this article on life as a gentile (non-believer) in the Mormon world of Utah… Salt Lake City, specifically.  In it you’ll get a glimmer of what things are going to be like once the theocratic transformation is complete on the national level.  Yet what the Mormons have done in Utah pales in comparison to what is destined to occur once the theocratic kingdom of Christian America has been established in full force.

As we have also said millions of times on this website… this aberration, which they term Christianity has nothing to do with true faith in Christ.  It has nothing to do with His true testimony, and it in no way gives credence to the truth of His commandments.  It is a lie… one which has prospered under the guidance of the father of all lies.  Like a runaway train it is not going to be stopped from within or without until the appointed time.  Based upon this God has called His children out of the US… not because He cannot stop it… but because He is not going to stop it until the return of His Son at the end of the age, which IS the appointed time. 

As I said above, the whole of the system is constructed to pull you away from the truth. So don't take your eyes off the ball. Don't allow the powers that be to draw you away from those things which are the truth in Christ... and above all else, heed His words and follow His commandments... no matter the cost.

It seems like everyone has been getting complacent of late.  Though a terrible event, people have become desensitized to what is going on in Iraq.  And they have been too busy getting by to do much more than read about the continued “Christianization” of the US, the expansion of the police state, and the economic troubles on the horizon.  Yet time stops for no man.  The march continues, whether we choose to pay attention to the signs or not.

More and more the news points to colossal shortages of military man power and the potential expansion of military action in the Middle East and possibly even South America.  Considering the course, which the US is currently on… there is hardly any doubt that a military draft is on the way.  Recent news reports show military recruitment is 40% below original projections and substantially below the “revised projections”, which were concocted to cover up how dire the manpower shortage actually is. Just today, Democratic Senator Joe Biden said that:

“The United States would "have to face" a painful dilemma on restoring the military draft as rising casualties saw the number of volunteers dry up, a senator warned today.”

Similar murmurings are being heard all the more frequently in the hall of legislation within the US. The facts behind them are quite simple and straightforward. Over 1900 soldiers have been killed in action in Iraq and conservative estimates reporting between 12 to 19 thousand wounded. Combine this information with the fact that there appears to be no end to hostilities in sight and it is little wonder that the young people of America are not lining up to serve.Another pressing matter is the shortage of medical personnel in Iraq.

Whereas the lack of recruits to replenish the frontlines is pressing, the shortage of medical personnel borders on the tragic. Recent news shows the military is offering 6 figure bonuses to recruit and retain medical personnel and is still falling short of what it needs. The bottom line is that at some point down the road… possibly not too far down the road… the US is going to have to reinstitute the draft. It will encompass America’s youth (primarily those under the age of 25) and will also force into service a great number of doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel.

Just what exactly will these new conscripts be serving? They’ll be serving a country, which is being rapidly transformed into a theocratic state… a nation claiming to serve Christ, while it makes violent war on its enemies.

A recent Baltimore Sun article highlights a local woman that has designed and produced a new “Christian-American” flag. The description of the flag itself is the height of apostasy… yet even more alarming are some of the quotes within the article, which provide real insight into the pathos behind America’s emergence as the world’s “Christian Empire.”

Quoting the flags creator, Marcia Thompson Eldreth, the Sun article says:

“Eldreth is untroubled by the notion of combining American and Christian symbols this way, as she quickly answers yes when asked whether the American purpose in the world is a specifically Christian project. Short of curbing freedom of religion, the U.S. government should not shy from declaring its service to scriptural ends, Eldreth said.”

Additionally, the article provides comments from American Christians on not just the flag, but also the position of the US as God’s nation on the earth:

‘"I believe this country can only be great if God is behind us, and he is," said Gary Folk, who displays his national Christian flag on a pole in front of his home in Cloverdale, Calif. "That's why we are a superpower."

Bobby Ables, of Stephenville, Texas, displays his national Christian flag on a living room wall, next to the Stars and Stripes. He said, "I don't get in politics too much," but as he sees it, the flag suitably mixes God and country: "That's what we are, a patriotic, Christian country."’

According to the mindset, we (The US) are a patriotic, Christian country… and because of this God is behind us and has made us a superpower.  Praise the Lord and “kill ‘em all” seems to be the sentiment… and it is to this dogma that future conscripts will be attached.Plus, not just content to fight evildoers abroad, the right wing Christian power structure wants to ramp up its efforts at home as well.  If this means the eradication of constitutionally protected liberties in the process… well you can’t make an omelet…

Seriously though… While most Americans slumber the screws are being tightened around them on all sides.  The police have been raiding schools on the grounds of not being able to prove drugs aren’t being sold… and new legislation passed in congress can send you to jail for failing to report the suspected crimes of others.  These are the types of new “freedoms” future conscripts will be called upon to defend.

You see, the direction the US is headed may not fit so neatly into the definition of democracy… but jibes quite well with the definition of Theocracy… and not so ironically, this is where everything is headed.  Washington’s rightwing power Elite and Wall Street’s heaviest hitters have linked arms with a fascist-minded, hawkish Church that wishes to not just rewrite America’s history… but to send its future in a direction involving increasing warfare and violence against the “enemies of their cross.”

A roll call among the Christian side of things now encompasses practically every “big” name in American Christendom… guys like D. James Kennedy, who unabashedly believes any separation of Church and State to be “diabolical” and who’s only complaint about the direction of the US under Bush is that it has not been far enough to the right… and more aggressive in destroying the enemies of the US, i.e. God’s redeemer nation.

Lastly, more often than not folks in the US choose to remain oblivious to all that is happening around them because they have been captured by the realities of life in this world.  Jobs, family, bills, and even retirement concerns are the things that affect people’s decisions more so than God’s Word.  Yet in every avenue the bill of goods they are trying desperately to purchase is a lie.   The job market is as unstable as it has been since the early Reagan years.  The cost of living is up… including all family related expenses… and families themselves are as disjointed and pulled apart as they have ever been.  Throw in the battles between those resisting and embracing America and the Church’s new direction and things get really bad.  Plus, one of the few remaining saving graces of the average American… Social Security… is soon to be swallowed up by Wall Street.

When this happens there will be little to no security for the average American in any circle…  Yet most still slumber, embracing the poison they know over a remedy requiring action and change on their part.  This is the story of mankind… and the story of the Church throughout the ages.  It is not a happy story though… and God is giving warning to His children to forsake the things of this present world.  He is commanding His children to come out of a nation that will deceive and destroy all who remain within.

How many will answer the call?  How many will not?  Those who do not will be swept away by military drafts, police state measures, economic hardships, and incredible pressure to tow the line no matter how blasphemous it is.  Plus, they will have to contend with the Lord above… on that day.It seems the choice would be simple doesn’t it?  Yet this is not the case.  It’s like a spouse in an abusive relationship that just will not leave no matter how bad they are abused.  Let us pray for heavenly strength for those within the US… that they will see, believe, and act upon God's Word concerning His call to “Come out” of Babylon the Great.

Talking with people over the past few days I had said I was going to get a journal update online on Saturday… well it’s still Saturday in Honolulu, so I suppose I’ve kept my word.  I’ve been forced to get this thing done so late because we have been pretty busy here lately.  Between getting the garden going, trying to fix this place up, dealing with health issues among our little group, and trying to get a handle on our financial obligations I admit I have allowed the number of journal updates I post to slip.

As all these things continue pressing upon us I’ll just have to do a little better at it.  The main reason for this is because there is an awful lot of really important news out there, which bears commentary.  First and foremost tonight is just how big, powerful, and scary the apostate, American, evangelical Church has gotten.

For example… look at Ted Haggard’s empire down in Colorado Springs.  Colorado Springs has been a hotbed for false doctrine for quite some time now.  Usually, its guys like James Dobson and C. Peter Wagner who get the majority of the attention when Colorado Springs is brought up.  Wagner sits atop a huge matrix of “Christian” ministries and organization, most notably the World Prayer Center.  Dobson of course is in the news almost as much as Michael Jackson these days… and quite frankly I’d rather face Judgment with Jackson’s record than Dobson’s.  Dobson’s enormous Focus on the Family empire gives him a platform to supposedly reach 200 million people worldwide.

Nonetheless, Haggard is not exactly small potatoes.  He is the lead pastor and founder of the gigantic New Life Church… a church, which Jeff Sharlet of Harper’s Magazine recently termed, “America’s most powerful megachurch.”  Haggard is also president of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE).  The NAE is composed of roughly 45,000 churches with over 30 million members.

Haggard is also at the forefront of the charge to bring about the total convergence of the three most powerful segments of the United States.  These segments are the American Church, American state power (which encompasses politics, the military, and foreign policy), and the American New World Order economic system.  Individually, each of these forces is malignant and destructive to the core… and combined, they are the stuff that evil empires are made of.

Yet Haggard and the millions of American Christians goose-stepping along with him see no such evil in their plans.  They see it as nothing short of bringing God’s kingdom to the earth.  They see the US as the Redeemer Nation, Free Market Capitalism as its God inspired economic engine, and they see the American Church as the only “body” that is capable (read worthy) to hold the reins.

In the Harper’s article, Sharlet seems to catch this as well and offers evidence of such in the following reiteration of Haggard’s “philosophy.”

“Free-market globalization” has made us so free, he (Haggard) realized, that an American cell-group system could be mature enough to function just like a market [emphasis mine]. One of Pastor Ted’s favorite books is Thomas Friedman’s The Lexus and the Olive Tree, which is now required reading for the hundreds of pastors under Ted’s spiritual authority across the country. From Friedman, Pastor Ted says he learned that everything, including spirituality, can be understood as a commodity. And unregulated trade, he concluded, was the key to achieving worldly freedom.”

Is this a religion ready made for the Elites or what?  Nevermind none of this has anything to do with the truth in Christ.  Christ ran the money changers and vendors out of the Temple… yet Haggard not only wants to let them back in… but thinks the guys who have brought us Enron, WorldCom, the Bhopal disaster, sweatshop labor,  downsizing, outsourcing, pension fund theft, and the Walmartization of the American economy are the ones we should emulate as when contstructing our model for the Church.

This is truly a doctrine of demons to the fullest extent.  But wait… it gets worse… as Sharlet continues:

“Free-market economics is a “truth” Ted says he learned in his first job in professional Christendom, as a Bible smuggler in Eastern Europe. Globalization, he believes, is merely a vehicle for the spread of Christianity. He means Protestantism in particular; Catholics, he said, “constantly look back.” He went on: “And the nations dominated by Catholicism look back. They don’t tend to create our greatest entrepreneurs, inventors, research and development. Typically, Catholic nations aren’t shooting people into space. Protestantism, though, always looks to the future. A typical kid raised in Protestantism dreams about the future. A typical kid raised in Catholicism values and relishes the past, the saints, the history. That is one of the changes that is happening in America. In America the descendants of the Protestants, the Puritan descendants, we want to create a better future, and our speakers say that sort of thing. But with the influx of people from Mexico, they don’t tend to be the ones that go to universities and become our research-and-development people. And so in that way I see a little clash of civilizations.”

Putting aside for a second the racism inherent in “Pastor Ted’s” views… check out what the man has to say about globalization.  To Haggard, it is “merely a vehicle for the spread of Christianity.”  Nevermind the shattered lives and ruined nations that lay writhing in its wake.  To Haggard globalization, i.e. Neo-Liberalism, i.e. the Washington Consensus, is there to serve the purpose of the Gospel.  My question is this… would God choose to spread the Truth in Christ through a system that ravages the world?  Would He choose to have His name attached to something that has destroyed practically every nation within the orbit of the American New World Order System?  I seriously doubt it.

While God does indeed reap where He hasn’t sown and He no doubt brings about great movements of faith out of tribulation and strife… when that strife is being perpetrated by a “Christian nation”, and that tribulation is endorsed by its “Church”  then I tend to believe any salvation coming to the world from this entity is one that stands against this system.

Yet Pastor Ted and His ilk will probably have me burned at the stake some day for holding such thought.

As I noted earlier, this is all leading to one big convergence.  The State, the Economy, and the Church are all being merged into one satanic entity.  Separately these forces hold sway over the hearts and minds of many, many people… Yet, when combined… they are a beastly force that will someday, possibly soon, rule the world.

As already noted, the Church is on board with the economic system… And as this system continues to move towards what will eventually spawn the “Mark of the Beast”, without which the Bibles says, “no man might buy or sell” (Revelation 13: 17)… otherwise faithful Christians will continue to get themselves in deeper to such a degree that when the “moment of truth” comes (so to speak)… most will be unwilling and unable to withstand.

The Church is also on board insofar as the direction of the State is concerned.  It is the American Church, which forms the core of George Bush and the GOP’s support.  They have been the most ardent proponents of Bush’s Wars on terrorism, Afghanistan, and Iraq… and already they are clamoring for more blood in Iran, with a recent movement within the US Church erroneously labeling Iran and it leadership as the evil and fallen“Prince of Persia” mentioned in the Book of Daniel.

As time goes on these entities… these forces… will continue to converge.  The Bible paints an endtimes picture of a Woman riding a Beast (Revelation 17).  This Woman is the False Christian Church, which has its seat of power within the kingdom that is the Beast.  Together they are to establish an empire through deceit, subterfuge, and brute force.  Holding it all together will be that one object of which the “love of” is identified by the Bible as the “root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6: 10).  When the convergence is complete the whole of humanity will be completely under the control of the terrible Beast empire.  Money, State Power, and Religion will all be merged into one entity and that entity will be the image of the beast.  This image will worship and serve the Beast… i.e. the Antichrist.

It all begins though… in the US of A.  The seat of power is there… and it is within the US that you will find the source of greatest damnation… the willingness of a supposedly Christian people to bring about this terrible monstrosity in the name of Christ.

Yet the whole world is not deluded… There are many who see the truth clearly.  There are Christians in the US working feverishly to get out of the country and there are a few who already have.  There are Christians in the US who are testifying against this evil entity as we speak.  There is a also a multitude throughout the world who reject the American New World Order System and more importantly reject the false christianity, which it spreads.  These are true believers are on the frontlines… and their testimony is leading people throughout the world into the real Truth in Christ.

Over the past few years this ministry has corresponded and built strong relationships with these dear saints.  Over the past few months things have really kicked into high gear.  The Lord is doing a wonderful work in places like Ghana, Pakistan, Mexico, Brazil, and in France.  Here at Antipas Ministries we’re going to start sharing this news with you as well in our new International Updates section of the website.  This section will be coming on line in the next few days, but in the interim we’ve already got the first update for all of you from Accra, Ghana.  It will temporarily be on the ISRP site until the new section is finished.

Dominionists, Reconstructionists, and other assorted militant postmillennialist evangelical Christian groups have been out there for quite some time.  Rousas John Rushdoony is generally credited with starting the “movement” back in the early part of the 1970’s.  Back in the day it was considered a fringe movement at best… and even as recently as the early 1990’s the idea of a militant, conquering, theocratic United States was one that would have found little support among rank-and-file American church-goers.

In 2005 we find another situation entirely.  What started as a fringe movement has become one of the most powerful forces in American Christendom.  Yet the power wielded by Dominionists is not necessarily done overtly.  Even today, if you were to take census of sorts… you probably wouldn’t find too many average Christians or too many within the leadership of the American Church who would openly label themselves Dominionists… But this doesn’t change the fact that the American Church has become a Dominionist institution.

Over the course of the past 3 decades Dominionist theology has overrun the sanctuary, so to speak, and has made its way down every aisle.  Powerful Church leaders like Tim LaHaye, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Jerry Falwell, James Kennedy, and Ed Young have openly endorsed and advocated the Dominionist agenda and the sentiments of the laity have decidedly swung in a Dominionist direction.  These leaders… along with their followers encompass the better part of what is known as Evangelical Christianity within the United States.  This expanding force has become the most powerful voice in the culture war as well as in US politics and it has also become an ever-increasing player in rallying support for the American New World Order economic system.

How has this taken place?  How has such a militant and apostate strain of Christianity managed to gain sway over such an ever-increasing segment of the American populace?  The answer is JUSTIFICATION. 

A people with so much wealth and power, relative to the rest of the world, must have a theology, which justifies that which they have.  Over the history of the United States the Church has time and again been offered the opportunity to choose the ways of Christ over the ways of the world… yet at all such opportunities they have for the most part failed.  From slavery and on through the genocide against Native Americans, Imperial conquest, supporting the robber barons over the poor, support of segregation, and the war in Vietnam… the American Church has always seemed to end up on the wrong side of things.  What is occurring now is merely the final and most terrible chapter in a long downward spiral.

As I said above… its all about justification.  The American Church has now fully embraced a theology, which justifies their wants and desires.  At this point in history, what is universally known as American Christianity is a religion of the haves over the have-nots.  It is a religion in which might makes right… and where the presence of wealth and power is proof of God’s blessing upon the possessor.  It is a faith in which we, as the good, have a responsibility to rid the world of evil.  Yet at the heart of it is the fact that those who are invariably typified as evil are those who seek to take back that which we have stolen from them, seek revenge or conflict based upon our oppression of them, or who are otherwise opposed to a world system that enriches us while impoverishing them.

While there is no justification for the violent acts of those opposed to the American New World Order system… neither is there any justification for the system itself… or for the violence perpetrated by the US in order to maintain it and strike back at those who have resisted.  However, if you were to say something like this at your average Church gathering these days… chances are you’d get labeled a liberal, commie, pinko, traitor and would maybe even get expelled from your Church if you kept it up.

The hard line is getting harder.  And as time goes by dissent and contrary opinion will by silenced all the more.  There are big plans on the horizon and the Church is not going to stand for dissention within the ranks.

Speaking of big plans… there has been a great deal of speculation on how soon the US will take action against Iran.  Recent news and analysis continues to point towards a sooner, rather than later scenario.  This does make sense, when you consider that if the US doesn’t begin taking action soon there is a chance the Iranians will be able to better defend potential bombing targets… but the big question is how will the US hope to marshal the manpower necessary to subsidize any air campaign, especially if and when the present regime in Iran does not crumble in the face of US bombing efforts.

The only answer I see is something taking place that would allow the US to reinstitute the draft.  This would properly galvanize the American public into supporting conscription to expand the war into Iran, Syria, and wherever else evildoers may lurk.  If and when such an event takes place… all bets are off.  The American Church has already proven itself a more than willing advocate for war and all its atrocities… with the right kind of stoking they can and will be compelled to support a draft and further expansion of the current war.

Obviously the greater part of the US populace has bought the lie… hook, line, and sinker.  Yet in other parts of the world there does seem to be an awakening of sorts… as to just what the US and its New World Order System are all about.  Recently France voted against supporting the EU constitution, meant to further unify the nations of Europe.  Whereas the French Elites and mainstream press have pushed the constitution and further consolidation of the states of the EU as a means to counterbalance US power… it seems the French people have figured out what is really going on.

In reality the EU is a vehicle benefiting the US Elites and their European underlings.  Within the present system the economies of established states such as France and Germany are being ravaged by low wages and unregulated industries in the Eastern European nations.  The economies of these nations are owned and operated by the US Elites and they have used them as a vehicle to destroy labor rights, wage protection, and environmental considerations within the European Union.  The French have realized this and have overwhelmingly voted against continuing down the road to serfdom…

I have two questions on this.  Number one… what will the US response be? Since officially the EU is supposed to be an economic “rival” to the US… and number two, what are all those deluded Christians who are looking for the EU to rise up and supplant the US as world power and birth the Antichrist going to do now that such a major setback has occurred?

Lastly, one of the main sticking points insofar as the French and many other Europeans are concerned is the negative impact of Turkey’s admittance into the Union.  European rejection of the Turks will eventually push them firmly into the arms of the Muslim World and will further set the stage for the Gog Magog War.

Even post-Christian, amoral Europe sees the obvious… while Americans flutter on in oblivion.  Yet this is a conscious choice by the American people.  It is all about justification, as I said above.  It is all about looking out for your own interests no matter how destructive and self-serving they actually are.  While it’s bad enough for a nation to justify war, oppression, and international larceny to maintain its status and wealth… it is ever the worse for a self-professing Christian nation to do so.  When this occurs the seeds are planted for more terrible times ahead.  Christ said that a little leaven, leavens the whole lump… and when things are all said and done the American Church, the American State, and all who reside within… will bear no resemblance to the Christ they claim to serve.
