Hello to everyone… Sean Mayfield here bringing you the Antipas Audio Journal.  Today’s date is Friday, June 23, 2006 and I want to welcome everyone to our little show for today.  I was supposed to release this broadcast yesterday… but we have been having some technical difficulties here… and we have also been trying to work on some things that have to be done here on the property.  So I do apologize for letting these things push the program back by a day.

Also… regarding our technical difficulties… our mail server has been down insofar as sending email is concerned.  So to everyone out there who has sent me an email over the past 2 days… and I know that is a quite a few people… to all of you guys though… please forgive me for not having sent you a response as of yet… We have just recently gotten the problem fixed and I am still trying to catch up on my emails.

Hey… I think we have a pretty good program on tap for today.  I want to talk about the laissez-faire attitude, which seems to have gripped most of the Church.  I want to talk about how the US is further transforming into a police-state… in light of some of the things presently going on… In light of this situation I am going to discuss some interesting things pertaining to the mind-set of Americans… which will make this transition to police-state all the easier.

I also want to speak a little bit about the violence taking place in Iraq… and how the actions of the US throughout the occupation guarantee that the quote-unquote, hearts and minds of Iraqis will never be won over… Relative to all of this I also want to discuss how the reality of what the US has planned for Iraq… and the Middle East play a huge part in why the Elite are so willing to administer the violence they have and why they are so willing to continue upon a course of action, which appears to be pushing Iraq into total anarchy.

In addition to my comments on today’s show… we also have Part 4 of Steve Shearer’s series, The Rich Have Seized Control of the Church.  So as you can see… there are a lot of things to discuss today… though as is always the case… we may end up going in a totally different direction… once I get into the flow here… but that is the plan, so to speak… and at this point I say we jump in and get things started.

So to get things started… what I want to do is ask a question… and the question I want to ask is this:  Are people truly considering the full ramifications of all that is occurring within the US at this time?  And in this context I am not merely talking about people who are within the United States… but those throughout the world… and especially those who in one way or another claim to be serving or seeking after the truth.

Because you see… sometimes I truly wonder about whether the reality of our present situation has actually set in for folks… regardless of whether or not they reside within the US?  And sadly… in more cases that not… the answer would have to be no… most folks do not seem to be considering the full ramifications of all that is occurring within the US… nor the present situation, which exists in our world.  The thing is though… this situation is one in which the Bible seems to indicate as to be expected… since we know from the Bible that:

"…as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." (Matthew 24: 38-39)

Having knowledge of this we should understand that the great mass of people throughout the world… and most especially those within the United States… are going to continue disregarding the signs of the times in order to focus on their own interests.  The cares of this present world will continue to blind men so that they will end up in fulfillment of Christ’s words in Matthew 24: 39.  In respect to this… I do want to be clear though… because when I use terms like “their own interests” and “the cares of this present world”… I am not merely speaking about frivolity and idle past times… I am also speaking about those who are consumed by doing and focusing upon what is necessary for survival in this present world.

How else can one explain the lack of action exhibited by so many throughout the world who profess to love the truth?  What other explanation can there be for those within the US… when the truth of what America is really all about seems to be leaping off the pages of the news directly at them?

As highlighted by S.R. Shearer in an article he wrote back in September of 2005, entitled… FEARFUL SIGHTS AND GREAT SIGNS FROM HEAVEN, there is an ever-broadening transition into full-fledged police state… which has been taking place within the US.  Already the police and military are working in conjunction to apprehend, detain, and “reeducate” suspected gang members in the Los Angeles area… and I reported on this way back last year… in conjunction with Steve.  This effort is still taking place in a manner, which shreds the US Constitution and reveals the hypocrisy inherent with Christian America’s claim to be THE beacon of hope, democracy, and freedom for the world.  Who knows how long it will be before such tactics are expanded into other American cities and who knows how long it will be before these actions are implemented against people other than suspected gang members.  In addition to this the US government has also been busy tapping the phones of US citizens… building huge databases of their financial transactions and activities… as well as stepping up their efforts to intimidate and marginalize dissenters at home… even those who are in no way breaking or abridging any laws whatsoever.

If the US were truly a Christian nation, one would think there would be some sort of uproar against such oppressive tactics.  So much of this though… has nothing to do with the quote-unquote, war on terror… or any other measure truly meant to protect the American people… but is instead nothing short of class-warfare… and an effort to eliminate threats to the plans of the US Elite… to remake America and the world into their image. 

Also… as I always point out… the American Church in this case… just like in practically every other case… has sided with their allies… the US Elite… in spite of the fact that doing so requires that they totally and completely disregard the actual message of Jesus Christ.

Now I do have some more things to say regarding all of this… but before I continue let’s pause so that we can listen to a brief message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Alright… welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was speaking about how the US is indeed transforming into a police-state… and how it seems to pretty much be a ho-hum affair for most people out there.

To make matters even more interesting though… rather than stand as any sort of beacon for the truth in all of this… the Church within the US has instead fashioned a future in which they will continue to “Christianize” America and the world by making use of their position of power and privilege within the New National Security State… and do so in a manner, which serves to reinforce the fallen nature of the American New World Order System.  Look… facts easily reveal the US and its Church to in no way truly be a Christian nation nor the real Church with good intentions for their own people and those of the world… but to instead be a debased nation of carnal-minded creatures.  The evidence shows them to be a people who have given themselves over to not just their own self-absorption… but to a jaded and hardened existence, which resembles the worst aspects of Darwinism, more than anything having to do with Jesus Christ.

Within this Darwinian mindset there exists a belief that those who “have” are somehow on a basic level more completely human than those who “have not”.  In the spiritual context in which professing American Christians claim to operate this mindset manifests itself as one, which justifies “plenty” as the blessings of God… and “lack” as the cursings of sin.  It promotes those who “have their poop together” as being more spiritual and righteous than those who cannot or will not apparently do so.  Yet this is merely the surface… or the tip of an iceberg… which runs much, much deeper.  In fact it is the beginning stage of a pathology, which leads straight to hell.

What this is really all about is the dehumanizing and demonizing of those who in one way or another have found themselves at odds with the American New World Order System AND the Church, which has allied itself to this entity.  It is this dehumanizing and demonizing process, which enables the professing Christian population of the US to glorify war, justify torture, and revel in the violence and oppression meted out to their “enemies”.  It is this mindset, which enables them to embrace the racism that has always characterized the American existence from the days of slavery on up to the present immigration crisis.

Evidence of this revelry in hatred and destruction can be found in the fact that one can peruse the Internet and gawk at the gory aftermath of America’s “just cause” in Iraq.  They can do so in much the same way most people sneak onto one of the thousands of pornographic websites catering to the US population.  Evidence of this can also be founded in the hardened and hateful dialogue, spoken by right-wing pundits, Christian and political leaders, which bounces across the airwaves, TV screens, and computer monitors of the US… and is done so with hardly any sort of counter-point offered from the overwhelming majority of the people… people who by and large claim to be followers of Christ.

Only a people who are well along the path of dehumanizing and demonizing their enemies so that justification is there to destroy them set about on this sort of a course.  Only a nation, which has given itself over to this pathology could still consider itself godly and just in this sort of environment.

America’s leaders in both the political and religious spheres are STILL selling the lie that God’s work is being done in Iraq.  In fact… just yesterday I sat there and watched Dick Cheney… the US vice-president… stridently put forth the notion that justice and goodness were being accomplished in that war and violence ravaged nation.  Sadly the people have willingly swallowed this lie and in doing so have chosen to ignore the stark evidence revealing the US war machine for what it is.  Take the words of Hart Viges, formerly of the 82^nd Airborne Division in Iraq for an example and tell me how US action in Iraq is a “just cause before the Lord”… back in late 2005, Viges said… and I quote:

"I don't know how many innocents I killed with my mortar rounds. I have my imagination to pick at for that one. But I clearly remember the call-out over the radio saying 'Green light on all taxi-cabs. The enemy is using them for transportation'.

One of our snipers called back on the radio saying 'Excuse me but did I hear that order correctly? Green light on all taxi cabs?' 'Roger that soldier. You'd better start buckling up.' All of a sudden the city just blew up. Didn't matter if there was an innocent in the taxi-cab - we laid a mortar round on it, snipers opened up."

And also consider that the horrors perpetrated back then have in no way ceased or abated.  A friend recently sent me an article that all the more hammers home the point of just how sad and grotesque Bush and America’s mission from God in Iraq has become.  The article is titled; Horror Show Reveals Iraq’s Descent… and can be found in the Times-Online of London.  This article shows the horrors taking place by offering a view of Iraq from one of its overworked morgues.  Check out this quote to understand what I am talking about:

“The single-storey Al-Tub al-Adli morgue, whose nondescript appearance belies the horrors within, has become synonymous with the seemingly unstoppable violence that has turned Baghdad into the most frightening city on earth.

It is here that bodies from the nightly slaughter are dumped each morning. The stench of decaying flesh, mingled with disinfectant, hits you at the checkpoint 100 yards away.

Each corpse tells a different story about the terrors of Iraq. Some bodies are pocked with holes inflicted by torturers with power drills. Some show signs of strangulation; others, with hands tied behind the back, bear bullet wounds. Many are charred and dismembered.

So far this year, according to health ministry figures, the mortuary has processed the bodies of about 6,000 people, most of whom died violently. Some were killed in American military action but many more were the victims of the sectarian violence that US and Iraqi forces are struggling to contain.”

Does everyone see what I am getting at here… insofar as relating this information is concerned?  Over the past few broadcasts I have made it a point to relate just how supportive of the war the Church leadership in America has been.  I have made it a point to show how the US leadership in both the political and religious sphere have consistently painted this whole affair as one ordained by God… and in His service.  Yet the truth… as revealed by the murder, torture, violence, hatred, and destruction still ongoing in Iraq… should show that this is in no way a Godly endeavor….   But you see… and this is the plain truth… the point is that most folks within the US do not look at these Iraqis as being human in the same sense that they are anyway.  They are less than men in the eyes of most… and demon possessed enemies of the cross in the eyes of quite a few.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host… Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about how terrible things have gotten in Iraq… and though I didn’t mention it before… things have degenerated to this state in spite of all the US propaganda efforts meant to somehow convince everyone that the tide is turning.  I was also speaking about how the sort of butchery taking place in Iraq is in a large way palatable to the American people… including the American Church… since they don’t really look on the Iraqis as being fellow-men in the fullest sense of the term.

This sort of racist pathology is not just confined to Iraq though… you know what I am talking about… the sort of pathology that enables people to demonize and dehumanize those who they view as their enemies.  No the same pathology has also always been at work within the US itself.

Yesterday I watched this documentary on the Discovery channel, which replayed all the events that occurred during the disaster that was Hurricane Katrina.  The documentary covered events pre-Katrina, what went on during the Hurricane, and what happened in the aftermath.  It was good to revisit this catastrophe… since so much of what went on… insofar as the government, the press, and the sentiments of the people of the US are concerned… serves to prove how the poor and especially poor African Americans have been criminalized and vilified within their own country.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina there were rampant reports of murders, rapings, and barbarities committed by the poor people left behind to seek shelter at the Superdome and Convention Center.  By and large these reports were treated as wholly credible by the corporate media and believed by the overwhelming majority of the US population.  I mean… after all… as one email I personally received just a few days after the storm stated:

“Should we be surprised that the blacks in New Orleans have acted the way they (sic) way they have?  Anyone who has ever lived in the city or knows anything about it has to have known that these people were a powder keg waiting to go off.  As much as I love the food, the music, my friends, and family this is why I left many years ago.  It was being taken over by the worst kind of people.  If anything good can come out of this tragedy, it is that N.O. can rebuilt without this element.”

What this email reveals is a sentiment shared in one capacity or another a huge number of Americans… a great many of whom stridently claim to be followers of Christ.  It was incredibly easy for most people to believe that poor blacks in New Orleans were capable of committing the worst kinds of atrocities during the dark days after the storm.  Yet, follow-up investigations by the New Orleans Times Picayune, other media outlets, and independent researchers have revealed almost all of what was earlier reported was blatantly untrue.  Whether one attributes this misreporting to “the fog of war” type atmosphere during and after the storm or to something much more sinister… the fact remains that it was all too easy for most Americans to believe the worst of the people who were trapped in what was a living hell.

Why is this so?  Because the very act of dehumanization and demonization, which has been applied to America’s enemies abroad has also been applied to the poor (black and white) within.  The poor have to be treated this way in order to justify their exploitation.  The poor have to be painted with this brush so that they can be scapegoated at the appropriate moment.  The poor have to be characterized this way in order to “neutralize” them when necessary.  In this sense the poor in America have been turned into enemies in the same way as the peoples of the Third World.

Still… the people refuse to see or acknowledge these things.  People choose to ignore what is happening before their very eyes…. And in this sense it doesn’t really matter if the people in question live in the US or elsewhere… because the fact that the US is becoming what it is becoming at such a rapid pace is going to have a very real effect upon the lives of every person on this planet… and especially so in the context of Biblical prophecy is concerned.

What happens to most people though… is that they fall into the trap of thinking that if they somehow avoid learning the details of what the US is up to in Iraq, its persecution of the poor both throughout the world and at home, or the complicity of the Church in it all… they will be excused from God’s judgment on that day.  In doing so they also are able to “free up” their conscious in order to more effectively partake of the spoils of empire and the fruits of domestic oppression or to justify not being a testimony for the truth in Christ when said testimony means placing one’s self at risk in this present world.

None of this will wash with the Lord though… He truly knows the score… and as the Word says, He will deal with every man, “according to his deeds.” (Romans 2: 6)  Think about that for a moment… He will deal with every man “according to his deeds.”  What does this say about those within the US?  What does it say, not just about the leadership and those who have committed the atrocities we highlight on these pages, but about those who acquiesce to what their country is doing in the name of Christ?  What does it say about those who are partakers and beneficiaries of these actions?  Will the Lord not judge them on this account?

Additionally… what does it say about those of us scattered throughout the world who choose to pretend that these things are not happening… or that we have not yet reached the point where we… as true believers in Christ… are called to bear His testimony on these things?

I am fairly close to wrapping things up for this segment… but before I do so… let’s take another break so that we can listen to another message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I am your host, Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was speaking about the statement that is made when so many people throughout the world choose to ignore what is happening at this moment…

In answering the questions I posed before the break… we especially need to consider that the crimes committed by the US in its quest to establish an empire have been committed while claiming to operate in the name of Christ.  For that is the rubric under which the US has undertaken its quest for empire and it is on this standard that the US is to be judged.  Rather than being Christ-like in any way, the US has instead operated more like the Mafia… terrorizing when necessary, stealing when able, murdering when appropriate.  Charley Reese pointed this out in his review of the book, Confessions of a Hit Man, which reveals just how ruthless the operators of the American New World Order System have been.  The Reese review says… and I quote:

"We did that to Mohammed Mossadegh, a democratically elected nationalist who thought Iran's oil should benefit Iranians. We painted him as a communist, and the CIA engineered a coup that replaced him with the Shah. In case you're curious, that's why so many Iranians hate us. We did it to a Guatemalan patriot, Jacobo Arbenz, when he tried to implement land reform and thus ran afoul of the United Fruit Co., which orchestrated the campaign that led to his overthrow by the U.S. Omar Torrijos, a Panamanian reformer, and Jaime Roldos, president of Ecuador who locked horns with big oil companies, both died in planes that exploded.

On the other hand, the ruthless and corrupt killers who play the game our way get rewarded with more loans and more aid. I know this sounds leftist and even, God forbid, liberal, but the more you get to know our government, the less you will think it's all sweetness and light. People fear the U.S. with good reason. We talk about spreading democracy, but what we do is extend empire and make war."

Where is the cause of Christ in this account?  Better yet, where is the voice of the true Church as a testimony against this sordid history?  Simply saying you weren’t aware that all of this has happened just will not cut it… because the evidence has always been there for even the simplest of people to see.  Saying that the time is not yet right to speak out on these things will not pass grade either… for the Lord demands that we ALWAYS have His testimony and that we ALWAYS remain “unspotted” from these terrible aspects of the world (James 1: 27).  Quite simply there is no excuse for the true Church to not have a testimony against the US and the false Church, which has whored itself and the name of Christ to the cause of empire.

Such a testimony will not yet fall upon deaf ears.  There are still people out there who are willing to listen.  Yet these people are the very ones who are vilified, dehumanized, and demonized by most of what calls itself the Church.  Most Americans care little about the these people… and in fact most throughout the world who have found any sort of comfort care either.  Included within this mass are many who claim to be servants of Christ.  And of these there are even a few who would go so far as to say that they agree with most of the message preached here at Antipas Ministries… but this agreement has not led them to take any sort of action.

It hasn’t led them to support this ministry… it hasn’t led them to separate themselves from the US… and it hasn’t led them to take a testimony of truth to the streets.  All it has really done is provide them with a little more grist for the mill.  It has given them their own little “niche” to inhabit as they go about the business of living their lives in this present world.  It has placed them into close proximity of fulfilling these words of Christ:

"…as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." (Matthew 24: 38-39)

And in this sense the same can be said for most people throughout the world… not just those within the US.  Yet, Christ has called the Church to so much more.   He is looking for a people who will lay it all on the line for Him.  He desires a Church that will have His testimony in season and out of season… in the best of times and in the worst of times.  In S.R. Shearer’s writings on the Church Life he speaks about what the Lord is looking for, insofar as His Church is concerned:

"The Lord is looking for such to follow Him - those that will follow Him long after the "things" are gone, the crowds have left, the popularity faded; when the clothes are tattered and torn, there is no food on the table, and persecution rages all around. These are the true disciples of Jesus - with such people one can repose trust and friendship, true love is here to be found!

These are the disciples who can say with the prophet Habakkuk:

"Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls –

"YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL JOY IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION." (Habakkuk 3:17-18)

It is in this kind of love that the TRUE Church will be "revealed," "disclosed," "manifested" (Romans 8:19)! It is this kind of love which will expose the hypocrites for what they really are. It is this kind of love which will separate the wheat from the tares. And it is only in tribulation that this love is truly revealed in all of its splendor and beauty. In this, God's glory can find rest; in this the presence of God securely dwells."

In light of the days in which we live... these words stand as true as they have ever been.  There are hard decisions and sacrifices to be made.  Yet the rewards outweigh the risks infinitely.  Let us not be counted among those who have been blinded to the reality of our present day.  Let us instead be counted among those in whom the true love of Christ is to be “revealed in all of its splendor and beauty”. Let us be counted among them TODAY… and during the times, which are to come.

This is what we are trying to do here at Antipas Ministries… and we are also trying to inform and equip others so that they can stand for the Lord as He requires of them.  This is what our training is all about… and in that regard we will release another training program tomorrow, which is Saturday.  It is also what these audio broadcasts and our writings are all about.

We are not trying to offer you entertainment or another diversion from the mendacity of life.  It is our hope that we can inform and equip you so that you will take action for the Lord… for the Truth.  In this regard… I do sincerely ask that you support us in our efforts… since the undertaking we have embraced is a full-time effort… which can be costly in many, many ways.  In addition to continuing with what we are presently doing… we also want to do even more to serve all of you… but we do need your help.

Hey this is Sean Mayfield and you’re listening to the Antipas Audio Journal.  It’s Monday, June 19, 2006… and welcome to my little world.  I think we’ve got a pretty good show on tap for everyone today… though I don’t plan on it being a super-long one… of course I think I say that just about every time… and rarely does it end up being true.

I have a few things that I want to go over today.  First I want to speak just a little bit about the situation between Iran and the US… this is of course I subject, which I covered in some detail on the last audio journal.  I also want to speak about what it means to be locked up and detained by the US as a “terror suspect” or any other sort of bad guy in their wars against Iraq, Afghanistan, and terrorism.  And the last thing I want to speak about today is the theology, which undergirds the religion of the US Empire.  It is a theology, which Steve Shearer termed as Luciferic Christianity… in an article he wrote last year… and I have some quotes to share from some of the big movers and shakers in the Christian world… which will expose just how Luciferic their beliefs really are.

Additionally… we also have Part 3 of Steve’s series, The Rich Have Seized Control of the Church… so all in all I think we have a pretty good program on tap for today.  For starters I want to talk a little bit about what we have been up to here at Antipas Ministries.

Well… as is obvious… we are always plugging along insofar as researching, writing, and recording these audio broadcasts are concerned… but we do also have a few other things going on as well.  In between everything else we are still working on re-releasing a print version of Steve’s book the Antipas Papers.  This release will be an updated version of the book… and in many ways will serve as sort of a “study version” too.  It is our hope to have the print version completed by the end of the summer… which is a little later than we wanted.  Yet, the time and resources to get it finished any sooner… just have not been there.

Once it is completed though… spiral-bound versions will be available for sale… not so that we can make money off of you guys… but because there is no way we can afford to offer something like that for free.  Like I said though… we are shooting for the end of summer to get it completed and once it is done… we’ll make an announcement to everyone and provide a way for folks to order a copy for themselves.

We do have some other projects going on as well… right now we are working on releasing a handful of additional books that we feel provide critical information for those serious about this message.  These are not books written by us… but are instead the works of others.  What we are in the process of doing is getting this information formatted so that it can be viewed on our website.  Some will be in HTML and others in PDF format.  We are not going to be breaking any copyright laws here… just to ease everyone’s mind… but what we want to do is make it extremely easy for you to have all the information you need to fully understand that big picture I talk so much about.

Specifically… the content I am talking about here is going to pretty much be “required reading” for those who are participating in our training course… but don’t worry… once we finally make this information available… we will allow ample time for folks to digest this information.  Two of the books I am working on right now are Miller’s Church History… and Michael Hudson’s, Super Imperialism.  Both are extremely difficult to purchase on the market… yet both provide critical insight in their respective spheres.  There are a couple of other titles we are working on… but no work has taken place toward making them available to you… as of yet.

O.K. I guess I have rambled on for long enough… and ought to go ahead and jump into what today’s show is really all about… so I will.

I spent a great deal of time last Thursday, going over the details on the present stand-off between the US and Iran.  I talked about how the US fully intends to use military force against Iran… and I shared how things could well escalate to the point where the US will unleash nuclear weapons and full-scale destruction against the Iranian state.  I also shared how Iran may be duped into facilitating their own destruction as this whole thing unfolds.

Now I do not want to go back over everything I discussed last week… but I do want to stress a couple of points here.  First of all… the one thing, which I believe everyone needs to understand here is that the US Elite do not intend to allow any solution to this present situation, which:

1. Allows Iran to remain as any sort of regional threat to US hegemony and/or Israel’s safety.
2.  Denies the US Elite control over Iran’s huge oil reserves.
3. Allows Iran to follow through on their threat to break ranks with the Dollar-system… by establishing an alternative oil market.

Now notice here… that I never once mentioned nuclear weapons… since in all honesty… this whole nuclear weapons thing is for the most part just an excuse… a pretext… for the US Elite to use… much in the same way WMD’s were used as an excuse to invade Iraq.

And you know something… there is another issue here as well… I think in some ways the US also wants to attack Iran… and maybe even use quote-unquote, tactical nukes… just show the world that it IS WILLING TO GO THAT FAR.  You see… since the days of the cold war… it has been US policy to always keep every option on the table… and to always make the threat that it reserves the right to quote-unquote, defend itself with every weapon at its disposal… Well… I think in some way the Elite want to show the world that they are not issuing empty threats to the world… but instead threats they are willing to follow through on.

As I was saying earlier though… in whatever capacity they strike… I do believe the full intention is to strike Iran… regardless of how diplomacy and the whole nuclear issue play out.  And as I said last week… the American Church… will no doubt support this coming attack just as firmly and vocally as they did the invasion of Iraq back in 2003.

I mean… these guys are shameless… and they have been so corrupted by their partnership with the Elite… and by their love of the things of this world… that there is no amount of destruction in the name of America and their God… which would make them blanche.

Alright… Sean Mayfield here and you are listening to the Antipas Audio Journal.  Before the break I was talking about the situation with Iran… and how the American Church will support whatever carnage the US Elite eventually unleash upon that nation.  I mean… these guys could care less about the actual words of Jesus Christ… they want nothing to do with He who is truthfully, the Prince of Peace.  No instead they worship the god of war… the god of destruction… the god of this world… they just call him Jesus… but we both know that this is really not his name.

To move on though… in addition to what the US has planned for Iran… I do want to point out that the same is in store for Venezuela… the parallels here are eerie in their similarity.  Both are huge oil producers… both continue to resist US hegemony… and both resist not just passively… but in a very real sense… actively.

This is something, which the US will not take lying down… and if you don’t believe me just ask Salvador Allende, Patrice Lumumba, or Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh what happens if you go too far in resisting US  Imperial design… oh wait… you can’t ask them because they are all DEAD… assassinated by the CIA or CIA-backed stooges… their countries returned into slave-states of the American New World Order System.

Of course Mossadegh’s Iran… once again broke free… once the Shah was deposed by the people and the present Islamic government came to power… thus bringing us to where we are now.

So you see… the overall theme here is that resistance is futile… at least that is theme insofar as the US Elite play the game.  They do not plan on allowing Iran to remain any sort of a thorn in their side… nor do they plan on allowing Hugo Chavez and Venezuela to continue the present course.

Just this weekend a pro-left, pro-Chavez newspaper director was assassinated in Venezuela.  I think this signals that the US is beginning the process of isolating Chavez… stripping him of his allies… so that he can be dealt with down the road.  I am not happy about this now… No Way!... yet it is inevitably what I see taking place.

And once again… isn’t it oh so telling… that the US Church is supportive of these sorts of assassinations?  Isn’t it telling that the American Church fully endorses the violence necessary to maintain and expand an empire?  It is funny… in my lifetime I have seen and heard extensively about the threats of the Soviet Union and China.  The warning to Americans has been that these godless hordes were intent upon dominating the world and destroying the US… but I’ll tell you something… these are or were… no doubt terrible nations… but at least they never feigned to be Christian nations.  At least they never justified their actions as being sanctioned by Christ.

You see… this is what the US has done… and is doing… and I tell you what… the long dead citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah are going to fair better on judgment day… than are those who have linked the name of Christ to all the crimes of the American New World Order System.

And just what sort of crimes am I talking about?  Well… in addition to the wars, assassinations, and thievery… we also have the prospect of torture and the worst sort of inhumanity perpetrated against those jailed as enemies of the empire.

Just look at the news to see what I am talking about… also… just go back and read some of Steve’s old articles, which deal with America’s use of death squads and torture in Latin America and previous to that in Vietnam.  In the recent news though… we have multiple reports of scores of suicides taking place at Camp X-Ray… there in Guantanamo… we also have reports of the US taping detainees eyelids open and placing them in small metal boxes while blaring loud music at them in Iraq.  There have also been reports of mutilations, beatings, and other extreme measures used in Afghanistan… and by US proxies in secret jails throughout Eastern Europe and the Middle East… and of course the torture used by US forces at Abu Graib and other such facilities in Iraq.

You see… the point I am trying to make here… is this is what is necessary to cement an empire in this present world.  Empires… by their nature… are oppressive and detrimental to their subjects.  They do not act in the best interests of the little people… they serve to enrich and empower the Elite at the top… and as such… in this present world… the little people will resist.  Sometimes they will resort to violence… and the counter-measure against this… sometimes used proactively… is murder, torture, and intimidation.  This is how people are kept in line here in this present world… and this is exactly what the US has been up to since its aspirations of empire began… many, many years ago.

Like I said earlier though… there is a significant difference between the US empire and any rivals on the world scene.  The US claims… no claims is not the right words… the US demands that the world recognize that it is a Christian Nation.  It proclaims quite clearly that it is a nation favored by God… and that it is the vehicle through, which God’s will is to be expressed upon the earth.  And just to be clear… we are not talking about some dead religion that is kept on life-support because it is subsidized by tax dollars… No we are talking about a religion that 80% of the American people identify with positively… of which around 50% are zealously committed church-goers.

This is what makes the US unique among the nations… and in light of how terrible the actions of this nation are… it is this fact, which identifies the US as the nation the Bible deems as Babylon the Great… and let me be clear here… this is why the US is singled out for the destruction to come at the end of the age… a destruction so complete that all who remain within that nation are going to be judged by God as partkers in its sins… and therefore will receive of that destruction… or in other words… judgment.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was talking about the Christian-factor… insofar as the American Empire is concerned… Now there can be no doubt that the Christianity practiced by the US Empire is one devoid of any sort of truth… There can be no doubt that in actuality there is nothing at all, which is quote-unquote, Christian about the religion preached and practiced by the American Empire.

So what is it that they preach and practice then?  Well… back in February of 2005 Steve wrote a little article called Luciferic Christianity… and this is no doubt what it is.  It is Luciferic to the core… and by this we mean… both Steve originally… and me right now… that this religion is not based upon the doctrine or actual teachings of Christ… it is not in anyway friendly to His message of love, humility, compassion, or forgiveness.

Rather… it is the message of Lucifer… or Satan, himself.  It is one in which this present world is the focus.  It is one in which money is the focus.  It is one in which power is the focus… and it is one in which the goal is to not merely be a son or servant of God… but to actually become God yourself.

What utter blasphemy this is… but there is no doubt that this is the religion endorsed by the good old U.S. of A.  Over the weekend I found some quotes by some of the most powerful men in American Christendom… which proves that they aspire… just as Satan did and does… to become God… to place their throne above the throne of the High.  In Isaiah 14… the Bible records the following:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14: 12-15)

And that was Isaiah 14: 12-15… and it is this same spirit of rebellion… this same spirit of Lucifer… which has infected the American Church today.  Check out these quotes from some of the biggest names in American Christendom… to see what I am talking about… and I will provide links to the source material… when I publish the transcript of this audio journal.

Now I realize that was a lot of information to throw at you… but do you see where this is all going?  These charismatic types are linked up to the more conservative Dominionist types… who are linked up to the Southern Baptist and other huge evangelical denominations in the US… and through this nexus they control and define American Christianity.  In a very true sense… the leaven has reached throughout the whole lump.

Additionally… these guys make it clear… that they do not see themselves as the adopted sons of God… which is the only true biblical interpretation… no they see themselves as Sons of God… exactly like Jesus… and just as Jesus IS GOD… these fools blasphemously say that they are God… just like Lucifer did way back in the day… And as for what they have in store for the earth… as it was quoted earlier… it is to “manifest the kingdom of God”… and let me tell you… they are not just talking about the spirit world here… they are not merely talking about a spiritual manifestation.

They plan to manifest this kingdom through the power and military might of the United States… they plan to execute those who are in their eyes… sinners, unrepentant, or heretics… And let me be clear… anyone who believes the message we preach here at Antipas Ministries will be deemed a heretic.  Maybe that is why our ranks are so thin huh?

Seriously though… this is what happen when the rich seize control of the Church… you get a church which strives for the things of this world… money, power, dominion… and though most of the pew-sitters will never attain the money, power, and dominion that their Elite masters will… they nonetheless have given themselves over into serving a lie… and into worshiping the creature as creator as it says in Romans 1: 25.  They have done so because they too lust for those things of this world… which they are to turn their gaze from… once they come to know the Lord.

And you see… this is where we are at… this is the struggle before us all… regardless of where we are… we are called to serve, THE HEAVENLY KINGDOM.  We are called to bear testimony for its commencement… its King, who is Christ… and to bear testimony against that which claims to be of Him… What we want to do here at Antipas Ministries… is spread this message of truth and equip those who desire to take action as the Lord requires of His servants.  In that regard I want to quickly remind everyone to help us out in the regard… and I also think I am ready to shut this segment down.

Alright everyone… It’s time for another Antipas Audio Journal… and I am your host… Sean Mayfield.  It’s Thursday, June 15, 2006, and I really do think we have got a pretty good program on tap for everyone today.  Whereas our last journal was a very serious affair… today’s broadcast will not quite go that deep.

This is not to say that there are not some very relevant things to go over today… just that we are not going to delve into doctrinal-slash-theological matters to the same degree, which we did on Monday.  Now of course… sometimes these programs turn out completely different from how I set them up… so who knows… this one may turn out to be just as deep and serious as the last… but at this point that is not the plan.

What I do plan on talking about is the situation between Iran and the United States… as it is developing… and in this light I have a few articles I’ve read lately that offer some insight that is worth passing along.  I also want to talk about the fact the number of US casualties in Iran just hit the 2500 mark… and specifically I want to talk about the effect… or lack of effect this is having on the American people.

I also plan to discuss what several of the snake oil salesmen in the religious right-slash-televangelism racket are up to… in a new segment called “The Price Is Right”… which I am going to start running from time to time… and lastly we have part 2 of Steve’s segment, The Rich Have Seized Control of the Church on tap for everyone today.

So without any further adieu… let’s go ahead and jump into what’s on tap for today.  Now for starters I want to once again thank everyone for all the positive feedback I have received for these audio journals… and I also want to thank those who have offered some constructive input as well.  I do think these broadcasts have been fairly effective and have improved since we started this back in February… I think… but one thing I do believe can be improved upon is the mood of the show.  These are no doubt serious issues we discuss here… but in truth… I am a much more up-tempo person in real life than comes across in these broadcasts… so I am going to try to convey a bit more of who I really am… of course that might be the worst thing possible here… but hey… let’s find out.

Though it hasn’t been as prominent in the news over the past few weeks… the situation between the US and Iran has certainly not gone away.  In fact over the past several days… I have managed to find several interesting articles discussing various aspects of this situation in what can only be described as the alternative press.

One such article I found on the Information Clearinghouse Website, written by Mark Gaffney… which is titled: “Showdown Looming With Iran - Can we break the cycle of history?”… goes into just what the US might be getting into by forcing a military showdown with Iran.  The article puts forth the notion that Iran has the ability to inflict severe damage upon US forces… particularly its naval forces.  Now… I am still not sold on the idea that the Iranians have the ability to sink US ships with missiles or anything like that… but Gaffney does bring up one very good point… in my view… that I want to share now.  He says:

“In all of this world there is nothing more dangerous than a wounded superpower. Imagine the reaction here at home should Iran manage to sink even one US warship in the Persian Gulf, causing the death of a thousand American sailors. The pertinent fact that the Iranians were defending themselves will matter not at all. Suddenly every super patriot and demagogue in America will be hysterically screaming in unison for revenge. Jingoism and war fever will grip the land, all fueled by the US media. The phrase of the hour will be: “Victory at any cost!” In such a mood the peace movement will have little chance to influence events. The pressure to punish Iran will grow by the hour, pressure that a president with a policy of nuclear first-use may find irresistible. How ironic that a US air campaign launched for the said purpose of preventing the spread of nuclear weapons will have brought the world to the brink of their use.”

In my view… this is definitely something to consider… because I guess the question of the hour is just what will it take to push the US over the edge.  By that I mean what is it going to take for the US people to support the use of nuclear weapons in Iran?  What is it going to take for the US people to offer the Bush administration the kind of overwhelming support necessary for them to unleash all the violence at their disposal upon the Iranians?

I have to tell you… something like this just might do the trick… since there is an historical precedent attached to the fact that the quickest way to harden the resolve of the US populace into support for the barbarity and butchery of war… is for them to suffer some great loss of life.  Not only did this work insofar as 9-11 and the subsequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are concerned… but it also worked in Vietnam… with the Gulf of Tonkin Incident… in WW2… with Pearl Harbor… and even way back in the Spanish American War… with Spain’s supposed sinking of the USS Maine… while in harbor in Havana, Cuba.

Now there were differences in all these instances.  9-11 had nothing to do with Iraq… but propaganda and the sustained American desire for revenge were enough to convince Americans that Saddam had to be taken out… even it meant the whole country had to be quote-unquote, liberated.  Of course… the whole Gulf of Tonkin incident was a lark… a fabrication meant to deceive the American people into supporting an escalation of US military action already taking place in Vietnam… As for Pearl Harbor… most evidence now available shows Roosevelt and company new the sneak attack was coming… but to one degree or another let it happen so that the American populace… which previous to Pearl Harbor was against joining the World War raging in both Asia and Europe… would instead support America’s joining in the fighting.

So how does all of this relate to Iran… well… as the situation stands right now… there is enough apathy and false belief among the American people… that they probably can be manipulated into allowing the US to conventionally bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities… if the case can be made that Iran intends to disobey the US order to cease any nuclear related activity.

Yet I do not think the support is their for Bush to drop atomic bombs on the Iranians… or to even bomb the Iranians to the degree necessary to accomplish what they really want to… which is to destroy Iran’s military, overthrow it’s Islamic government, and destroy its abilities to both control its oil fields and project its power on a regional level.  So how can Bush get the blank check necessary from the American people to accomplish all these things?  Well if the revenge card can be played… he may very well be able to do so… and if the Iranians were to actually destroy or severely damage a US warship or two… inflicting a great number of casualties in the process… those old spirits of revenge and bloodlust may just be rekindled within the American populace one more time.

Needless to say… this all speculation… but at this point there is nothing wrong with speculating… since this impasse between the US and Iran is not going to go away.  Now listen… I am just getting revved up here… so stick around… before I continue though… let’s pause so that we can listen to the following message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host… Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was speaking on how any successful Iranian counterstrike against US forces… in the aftermath of initial US bombing efforts against Iran… may result in providing that sea change of sentiment among the US populace necessary for the ruling Elite to inflict the level of damage necessary upon Iran… to accomplish their goals… included in this is the prospect that something like this just may be the lever, which enables Bush to use to quote-unquote tactical nukes that those on the hard right seem to be so eager to use.

Now I don’t want to be accused of putting the cart before the horse here… so I guess we should take a little time to discuss how the US is going to be able to create an environment where they will even have the tacit support necessary to begin any sort of military action against the Iranians in the first place.  On the Antiwar.com Website… Jorge Hirsch puts together a very compelling case for how the Iranians are going to be deceived into facilitating their own demise.  In Hirsh’s article… which is titled: Trapping Iran With A Trip Wire…  Hirsch describes how he sees it all playing out.  He says that the US has no desire to find a diplomatic solution to this crisis and instead wants to merely create the right environment to garner support among allies and the American populace for the coming US attack.  He says that the Iranians are going to be induced into suspending any nuclear activity while talks are to take place between the US, Iran, and whatever third parties are invited.  He then says that the US will work to sabotage said diplomatic efforts in one way or another… so that the Iranians will then be faced with a choice… if they choose to resume any nuclear related activities… though legally having the right to do so… the US will declare Iran to have shown that they do not desire a diplomatic solution as evidence by their returning to active status insofar as their
