All right everyone… it is time for another edition of the Antipas Audio Journal… the May 11^th, 2006 edition that is… I’m Sean Mayfield and I’ll be your tour guide of sorts.  As I said earlier this week… from now on I am going to do my best to do these broadcasts twice a week… on Mondays and Thursdays.  In the long run it will work out for the best… I think.

I think we’ve got a really good show on tap for today… It shouldn’t be overly long… but I do nonetheless have some interesting things to go over today.  Plus, we’ll also have Part 8 of S.R. Shearer’s series on George Bush, the Promise Keepers, and the Principles of Messianic Leadership.  Hopefully… everyone has been listening to all the past parts of this series… because it really does contain a very important message… and a warning.  I also hope folks have found the time to go back and read the original article from which this series springs.  The article… like all of our past articles… can be found by clicking on the link to the Topical Directory… on our homepage at www.antipasministries.com.

Also… I want to encourage everyone to be sure to go back and read the transcripts of these audio broadcasts as I release them on the ISRP Journal… over at our other website… www.isrp.org. When I put the transcripts together… I always included tons and tons of links to articles and various types of information… that substantiates the evidence offered and points made during our broadcasts.

Well… now that we have gotten all that out of the way… let’s jump into the middle of things.  One of the big news items over the past couple of days is the release of the contents of the letter, which Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, sent to George W Bush recently.  The 18 page letter… essentially called Bush to task on religious terms… for claiming to be a Christian… but totally eschewing the doctrines and teachings of Jesus Christ… insofar as America has acted in Iraq, Afghanistan, through globalization, and what it plans to do in Iran.

It is very sad that Ahmadinejad also included so many anti-Semitic statements in the letter… since because of this… it will immediately be discarded and disregarded in the minds of most Americans who read it.  I say this because the points the Iranian President made regarding the character of Bush’s type of Christianity… a type of Christianity which rules the roost insofar as the United States is concerned… but anyway… his points on the validity of Bush’s Christian character were right on the mark.

Also in the news this week is Porter Goss’s essentially forced resignation from his post as Director of the CIA.  Now Steve Shearer already clued everyone in on most of the details concerning this in yesterday’s special broadcast.  In that broadcast he really hit the mark insofar as showing that this was really all about a power struggle between Goss and John Negroponte… the Director of National intelligence… which is a position Bush created under the guise of consolidating the results of the various intelligence gathering activities of America’s various intelligence, defense, and law-enforcement organs… In actuality though… the position was created in order to diminish the role played by the CIA… an entity, which Bush and company deem as hostile to their goals… due to the tendency of careerists within the CIA to not offer intelligence solely suited to the Imperial goals of the Bush regime.

Well anyway… Steve went over all of the ramifications of this yesterday… so I won’t rehash everything now… but I will say that no one needs to feel sorry for Porter Goss… He is totally and completely tied into the Right Wing Neocon Power structure… and the only reason he was even appointed to the Directorship was so that he could essentially destroy the power of the CIA.  This was done to insure there will never again be the sort of duality of information that existed in the run-up to war with Iraq… and to also take away the leverage of any quote-unquote “do-gooders” within the CIA bureaucracy… opposed to the domestic and international game plan on tap from evil men like Negroponte, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Hehr Bush.

There was a really good article about all of this written by Sydney Blumenthal and I really encourage everyone to check it out.  It should be available on several places throughout the web… one of which is Der Spiegel’s website.  I’ll include a link to it when the transcript for today’s audio broadcast is released.

Welcome back to the May 11, 2006 version of the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host, Sean Mayfield.  Before the break I was offering some additional insight on the recent power struggle between John Negroponte and Porter Goss… this was a power struggle, which saw Goss resign as Director of the CIA… but not before he was essentially able to defang and neuter the agency.  Now the thing is… if it weren’t for the fact that the new reality is so much more ominous… the death knell of the CIA would be a good thing… After all… these are the guys who frequently assassinated for leaders, trained and ran death squads in the third world, collaborated with drug cartels to raise funds and assisted in the importation of said drugs into the ghettoes of south central Los Angeles.

Considering this… how much worse can the alternative be?  Well… sadly the answer is much, much worse.  Like I said though… I won’t rehash everything Steve Shearer went over yesterday during his special broadcast on Negroponte and the CIA… instead I’ll encourage everyone to go to our homepage at www.antipasministries.com... The next thing I want to talk about is Theocracy within America… specifically how it fits into America’s Youth Culture.  It should already be apparent that the Theocrats, Dominionists, Reconstructionists, whacko, militant, rightwing, Christo-Fascists… or whatever you want to call them have infected and taken over the mainstream Church within America… the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the US government… its military… its intelligence organizations… and that it is firmly aligned with Americas corporate Elite.

What is also going on though… is something similar to the Hitler Youth movement… which sprang up in Nazi Germany after Hitler assumed power.  I ran across several interesting articles lately… which detail the efforts of the militaristic, ultra-rightwing, Dominionists youth organization, Battle Cry.

Battle Cry is the creation of Dominionist, Ron Luce… a heavy-hitter in Religious Right circles who is plugged in with guys like Gary Demar, Pat Robertson, and even quote-unquote mainstream right-wingers like Bill O’Reilly.  His movement… known as Battle Cry… is essentially a hyped up, militarized, MTV-styled, teenage version of the Promise Keepers and their rallies of the 80’s and 90’s.

They have drawn hundreds of thousands of teens to events in stadiums throughout the US… and once they get them there they bombard them with loud, tacky, Christian rock bands, military imagery like hummers, camouflage attire, and automatic weaponry… now the military angle is played off as being symbolic in the sense of being a warrior for God… but the line between spiritual warrior and literal warrior is destroyed once Luce and the other powerhouse speakers he always brings along start spouting their message.

It is a message copied straight from the writings of hard-core Dominionists like R.J. Rushdooney, Gary DeMar, and more mainstream Theocrats like Ted Haggard, James Kennedy, and Franklin Graham.

The kids here are essentially being brainwashed into serving as the foot-soldiers in the new Christian-fascist state that these guys want to unleash within America and upon the world.

They want to execute homosexuals, adulterers, those who lose their virginity before marriage… and a host of other such offenders.  They glorify US military efforts as being an extension of God’s Work upon the earth… and they are doing all they can to enlist all the middle class white kids throughout America into serving their vision of what must come to pass.

A commentary on the Counterpunch website, titled Meet the Shock Troops of the Christian Youth… written by Sunsara Taylor provides many details as to just what this movement is really all about.  In the commentary Taylor writes:

“If you've been waiting until the Christian fascist movement started filling stadiums with young people and hyping them up to do battle in "God's army" to get alarmed, wait no longer.

In recent weeks, Battle Cry, a Christian fundamentalist youth movement, has attracted more than 25,000 to mega-rally rock concerts in San Francisco and Detroit and this weekend they plan to fill Wachovia Stadium in Philadelphia.

They claim their religion and values are under attack but, amidst spectacular lightshows, hummers, Navy Seals, and military imagery on stage, it is Battle Cry that has declared war on everyone else! Their leader, Ron Luce, insists: "This is war. And Jesus invites us to get into the action, telling us that the violent--the 'forceful' ones--will lay hold of the kingdom."”

Do you see what Luce and this movement are doing here?  Luce says Jesus is inviting us and especially America’s youth… to get into a violent battle to lay hold of the kingdom of God… Can any say blasphemy?  It sort of reminds me of that Simpson’s episode where Bart and friends are recruited to start a boy band that is actually a front for the Navy to release subliminal propaganda encouraging enlistment to young people… But I don’t want to trivialize any of this in any way… because this is very serious and very ominous business.

The reason for this is because this is a huge mega-million dollar operation that is connected to the most powerful people in American Christendom.  On this subject Taylor writes:

“Behind their multi-million dollar operation that sends more than 5,000 missionaries to more than thirty-four countries each year, are some of the most powerful and extreme religious lunatics in the country. Their partners include Pat Robertson (who got a call from Karl Rove to discuss Alito before the nomination was made public), Ted Haggard (who brags that his concerns will be responded to by the White House within 24 hours), Jerry Falwell (who blamed September 11th on homosexuals, feminists, pagans, and abortionists), and others. Their events have been addressed by Barbara Bush (via video) as well as former President Gerry Ford. This weekend's event will include Franklyn Graham who has ministered to George Bush and publicly proclaimed that Islam is an "evil religion."”

Alright welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I’m your host Sean Mayfield.  Before the break we were talking about Battle Cry… a huge and well-connected youth movement that appears to be gathering serious steam as it sweeps through stadiums throughout the US… where hundreds of thousand of Christian teenagers are turning out to hear a militaristic, Dominionist message… which is total and complete blasphemy in regards to the true message of Jesus Christ.

The true message of course is about Grace, Love, sacrifice, loving your enemies, turning the other cheek, compassion, humility, and a willingness to forsake power and riches in this present world for those of the kingdom to come.  Yet Luce and the minions he is co-opting want nothing to do with this sort of mealy-mouth Jesus… they want power and dominion now… even if they have to turn the world into a bloodbath in order to accomplish their goals.

I found another article touching upon all of this by Debra Hubert on the Indybay.org website.  Hubert offers some specifics as to what went on during Battle Cry’s San Francisco rally at the Giant’s PacBell Park.  She also goes a little deeper into what this movement… and the greater theology it is a part of… is all about.

Now at this point I want to offer a disclaimer of sorts… because a lot of what is written in Hubert’s piece… and even the piece by Taylor… is very critical of Christianity as a whole… and supportive alternative lifestyles that many of our listeners may themselves be critical of… The point here is not whether or not you are in support of or opposed to alternative lifestyles… the point is to recognize the larger agenda… which the ever-growing Dominionist-slash-Christofascists (I really love that term) have on tap for the US and the world.

What folks need to bear in mind is the following quote from Pastor Martin Niemöller about the (kwee-essence) quiescence of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group.  Niemöller said:

When the Nazis came for the communists,

I remained silent;

I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,

I remained silent;

I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,

I did not speak out;

I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,

I did not speak out;

I was not a Jew.

When they came for me,

there was no one left to speak out.

Now the reason I say this is because… if you think these guys are going to stop once they have dealt with all the Muslims… and then the homosexuals… and then the Liberals… then you are seriously deluding yourself.  The point to be made here is not whether you think such and such or so and so is right or wrong… That is a discussion to be had outside of the context of this one… the point to be made is that Christ does not teach execution of your enemies… nor of those outside of God’s will…

He teaches love… in all the ways I shared earlier… and He teaches that it is He who will judge the Earth… not self-righteous Right-wingers that are on some sort of twisted, hypocritical mission from God… which totally disregards the clear literal meaning of God’s Word.

What is sad… and now I am moving on to the next point… but what is sad is that these guys get identified is being those who stand by a literal interpretation of God’s Word… when in fact… they are the one’s who are guilty of blaspheming the Holy Spirit… due to the fact that they have twisted the clear meaning of Christ, salvation, and the Kingdom to Come into something, which serves the purposes of the Devil.

As I said though… these guys are not going to stop with their present list of enemies… they are going to expand… and as Niemöller makes the point… eventually they are going to come for you… and there will be no one left to stop them.

Welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… Sean Mayfield here holding court on today’s show.  Before the break we were talking about the Dominionist… the Christo-Fascists… and how they are working to capture the youth of America… as well as what their overall ascension to power means to you.

In the Hubert article I made mention of earlier… she really puts some dynamite information together on just how deep this all goes.  I have a quote to share from the article… which shows how even supposed “mainline” Baptists like Charles Stanley are swept up in all of this.  The quote also goes on to bridge things back to the youth movement being spurred by this heresy.  The quote from Hubert reads as follows:

“I accepted an invitation to go with Dr. Charles Stanley’s In Touch Ministry on a cruise to Alaska to help a friend with her five-year old daughter and so I could have a deeper look inside the mentality of these people who seemed to me to have gotten Jesus’ message all wrong, yet were claiming to be his most dedicated followers.

I discovered many of these people believe the vast majority of Americans, especially anyone disobeying God's laws, earn God’s wrath by their licentious and undisciplined lives. They believe "The government is put in power by God and if you question the government you are questioning God. So don't, in a nutshell." This was their faithful response when questioned about Bush’s ethics, "He is a Believer,” implying immediate allegiance is expected.

I received identical answers from virtually everyone. They were all plugged in and connected to the same belief structure as Dr. Charles Stanley, Rush Limbaugh and others. The media dominance of these fanatical extremist types means they can put out their messages in customized brain washing packages. They utilize all means of modern communication to spread their message. This version of “Pop Christianity” is now sweeping the country with its mind, heart and sex controlling traps.

To answer my question about the war in Iraq and pointing out that "there were some 100,000 casualties in this war led by a self proclaimed Christian,” Stanley and his followers proclaim defensively and somewhat eerily "we are not fighting people, we are fighting Satan and Evildoers," and "George Bush claimed God counseled him to go to war for our country and furthermore, sometimes God favors war.” Charles Stanley boasted repeatedly about G.W Bush being his good friend and intimate prayer partner.

Famous Right Wing Christian stars such as Pat Robertson, Billy and Franklin Graham, Dr. Charles Stanley, Ted Haggard, James Dobson, John Ashcroft, Jerry Falwell, Tom DeLay, Gary DeMar, Tim LeHay, author of the bestselling End Times Apocalypse "fiction" series and others, are moving aggressively into the arena of recruiting youth from pre-teens into early adulthood.”

At this point I am going to start working toward wrapping this segment up… but I do want to once again tie all of this together.

What we are dealing with here is a virulent strain of Christianity, which has infected the whole of the American Church and state… from extremist like the late Rushdooney, Gary North, and DeMar… to quote-unquote mainstream guys like Stanley as well as Billy and Franklin Graham… to powerful yet crazy celebrity leaders like Tim LaHay, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, James, Dobson, Ted Haggard… and on through to political, judicial, and military leaders like George Bush, Dick Cheney, John Ashcroft, Antonia Scalia, Tom Delay, Bill Frist, and Gerry Boykin… through this broad spectrum of powerful men… the corrupt foundation of America’s future has been laid.

Theirs is a plan for world dominion, exploitation, and plunder… They use this damnable version of Christianity to give credence to their bloodlust for riches and power… and as such will never be separated from the Corporate Elite of which many are already a part of… but all serve at heart.

This is not a situation, which can be changed… sadly… America is lost.  God knew this was coming though… and as such He commands that those who love Him… come out of that nation.  We have written reams about all of this… so please do check it all out.  Do know though… because I will say briefly… that the pathology at play here… the forces at work… will eventually overcome all who remain within the United States.

People who remain will either be swept up into supporting the American Beast in all that is to come… or the threats of what men like John Negroponte can do when allied with a theology of execution and murder… will cower folks into silent complicity.  Once again… God’s solution… His respite… is for those within the US to come out… before it is too late.

As I have been saying repeatedly… at this point there is still time… how much more time though… I do not know… when war erupts in Iran will there still be time?  If there is another 9-11 in the US will there still be time?  Once the Gog/Magog War starts will there still be time?  Once again… I do not know.

What I do know however… is that when we become aware of, understand, and believe something regarding God’s Word and His commandments… then we are obligated to begin acting upon that belief NOW… otherwise we really don’t believe.

To bring things to a close here… All of this is also headed toward the coming to power of a strongman… to take the reigns of the Beast… which the US state has become… To understand what exactly this means… and how it is going to place… let’s go ahead and conclude this segment of the journal and jump into Part 8 of Steve Shearer’s series on George Bush, the Promise Keepers, and the Principles of Messianic Leadership.  Before we do that though… let’s listen to another message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

That’s right… It’s Monday, May 08, 2006, and once again it’s time for the Antipas Audio Journal.  I’m your host… Sean Mayfield… and I’ll be the one seeing you through this thing.  Like I said last week… from now on these audio broadcasts are going to air on Monday’s and Thursdays in an attempt to put them on a regular schedule… so to speak.

We have a lot to go over for today’s show.  I have some really significant news and analysis to share with all of you… and we have Part 7 of Steve Shearer’s series on George Bush, the Promise Keepers, and the Principles of Messianic Leadership.  After Steve’s segment I’ll come back one more time to briefly wrap things up.  Like I said though… we have some really good information to share today… so let’s go ahead and get things started.

Lately we have made mention of the fact that George Bush has a super solid core of supporters… that make up around 34% of the population.  These are people who identify themselves as Christians… by and large… and they, more than any other group, are willing to believe all the propaganda concerning why the US went to war in Iran… why taxes on the rich must be reduced, why corporations must be given free reign, why the defense budget must be constantly increased, and why the US must begin ramping up to strike Iran.  These people are analogous to that 33% of the German population, which stood with Hitler… when his National Socialist Party government first came into power in 1933.

Yet the thing is… there is indeed an underlying sentiment… which affects a much greater majority of the American population… that also makes them a “ready made terrain” (to use a term Steve has been making use of in his broadcasts), but anyway… there is an underlying sentiment within the greater part of the American populace that makes them a ready made terrain for becoming supporters of the expansionist, Imperial agenda… which Bush, the Right wing, and the leadership of the American Church have in store for the rest of the world.

In an article titled, Blood Pact: American Hegemony and the True Bush "Base" written by Chris Floyd… Floyd exposes just how this larger portion of the American populace is actually already on board.  What Floyd shows is that Americans have become cheerleaders of aggression, war, and cut-throat foreign policy to one degree or another… because they have bought into the basic premise that there is something inherently just about “the American Way of Life”… even if they do not tacitly approve of the methods, which Bush and the Neocons are employing to secure it for them.  In the article by Floyd… which can be found at his website, www.chris-floyd.com he wrote:

“The chief reality, of course, is that the invasion and occupation of Iraq is primarily about oil and the preservation of the American way of life. It is based on the premise that the latter is a question of supreme importance, a moral value overriding all others. That "the American way of life" is itself riddled with gross inequalities is beside the point here, for these inequalities greatly benefit all those who have the power to make or influence policies in "the national interest."

Once this basic premise is accepted, the conquest – which otherwise seems a pointless, reckless paroxysm of elitist greed – can be seen as a logical if difficult step undertaken in accordance with a carefully reasoned strategy. War, mass death, torture, repression and the monstrous lies surrounding the instigation of the conquest can thus be justified as "necessary evils" to secure a greater good.”

Do you see what he is saying here?  It is from the mindset he is describing that springs the support for occupation of Iraq and attack of Iran… that you find among leaders of the Democratic Party within the US and many others who identify themselves as critical of Bush.  It is this mindset within the American people that gave Bush 85% approval ratings, overwhelming support to invade Afghanistan, over 50% support to invade Iraq, and carte blanche to destroy the Bill of Right in the aftermath of 9/11.

What we are talking about here is a whole population that to one degree or another has bought into the American mythos that is drummed into every citizen as soon as they are old enough to comprehend such things.  This idea that the quote-unquote, American Way of Life is not just worth defending… but is also worthy of taking proactive measures upon… even measures that eventually lead to war, mass death, torture, repression, and many a monstrous lie to cover up the true nature of what is going on… is that which is going to eventually bring the majority of the American population into the fold… so to speak… just the majority of Hitler’s German population was eventually brought into the fold.

You see folks… the honest truth is that what the United States is doing in the Middle East… and what it has been doing throughout the world over the past several decades has nothing to do with securing any greater good attached to the mythical American Way of Life.  The actions of the US over this time period have been fueled by the greed and avarice of the US Elite… and by the willingness of the American population during most of this time… to look the other way and turn a blind eye to what is actually being done in their name all across the globe.

In and of itself… this is not just a bad thing… it is a horrible thing.  It is totally and completely damnable… when you look at it with any sort of functioning moral compass.  If preserving your way of life means you must support war, mass death, torture, repression, and a pyramid of lies… then there is something fundamentally flawed with your way of life.  If holding on to what you’ve got requires the enlistment of evil men and evil deeds… in order to secure the greater good… then there is something tragically amiss insofar as what you define as the greater good.  And if maintaining your preferred level of existence means that others throughout the world must suffer and die… then you are not serving any sort of greater good at all… no matter how you define it… you are instead serving the darker side of your own lusts and desires.

Now I have a lot more talk about concerning all of this… but before I continue… lets pause long enough to listen to the following message… from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Hey… welcome back to the Antipas Audio Journal… I’m your host of sorts… Sean Mayfield.  Before the break we were talking about how the foundation is there… and has always been there… for the majority of the American people to come on board insofar as supporting the murderous efforts that will have to be undertaken to secure the posterity of the American Empire.  As I have said many, many times… in and of itself all this is bad enough.  Yet, there is another element involved… another piece to this puzzle… which makes things much, much worse.

What I am speaking about here is the fact that the American Church… that group of people within the United States who identify themselves as disciples of Christ… are those most supportive of the present program of conquest and destruction.  It doesn’t matter what sort of propaganda is enlisted to spin American actions in the light of freedom, democracy, blah, blah, blah…  What matters is the truth… and the truth clearly shows that the US is about the business of securing rule of the world… so that a relatively small number of extremely rich men and women can further engorge themselves on the spoils of empire.

You see… this is the truth… the spin doesn’t matter.  The evidence clear shows what the truth is… and those who refuse to see things for what they are… are merely making it all the easier for themselves to be numbered among those who finally cross the line into becoming partakers in all the madness, which is to come.

To get back on point though… what makes our present situation all the more worse… is the complicity, which the American Church has in all of this.  They have moved beyond the already terrible role of cheerleader… into that of full-fledged partner.  American Christianity is an active participant in the war in Iraq.  American Christians lead the charge among those who are calling for strikes against Iran.  They are the one’s who are prepared to destroy the last vestiges of American democracy in order to right all the perceived societal wrongs that they fear as being the downfall of their beloved land.

As for the war in Iraq though… the level of involvement is extreme… and sickening.  This goes beyond tacky Televangelists hawking for war during their early morning broadcasts… and mega church congregants worshipping the American Flag and the US military machine.  We have moved well beyond this point… to that which now sees the doctrine of the American Church being rewritten to not just excuse the horrors of war… but to glorify and require them… in the service of the United Heavenly States of America.

A friend of mine sent me a link to an article, which contains several letters from soldiers serving Iraq.  The letters are so sad, horrifying, and disturbing on many, many levels.  They reveal what is actually going on over there… and one letter in particular also reveals just how deep in the muck… American Christianity actually is.  The link to the website is really long… so rather than provide it now… I will instead do so when the transcript of this broadcast comes out tomorrow.  What I want to do now though is read an excerpt from one of the letters that reveals how fallen the American version of the faith has truly become:  The excerpt reads as follows:

“If I Killed a Child am I a Murderer? I Need to Know!

From a Christian soldier in Iraq with blood on his hands  April -- 2006  Someone, anyone, can you help me?

Please, please, find me a pastor or a preacher who can give me a real answer. I really need to know, because I think I’m going to hell for what I did yesterday. I know I was not really responsible, but it was me that did it: my hand, my finger, my eyes that aimed, and my 249 (Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), M249 Light Machine Gun http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m249.htm ) that fired the bullets. Even if I didn’t mean to do it, I have to blame myself and admit it was my fault. I need to find out if I can ask for forgiveness and make it all right.

I went to the chaplain and he wouldn’t even talk to me about it. He just told me that it was during war, and we were in the right, because God was with us. He told me that during war things happen that can’t be helped. He told me that God would forgive everything we did, and I didn’t need to worry about it anymore.

That’s not an answer I can live with and when I got mad and screamed at him he wrote me up on a counseling statement for being disrespectful and insubordinate! So I can’t go back and talk to the Chaplains because they will never talk about it when you try to get a real answer from them. I am afraid they will give me another counseling form or try to screw with me.

I can't afford to loose rank and pay, because my family is sharing a house with other family right now. We can't even afford to rent our own place so we live with my sister and her three kids. So getting in any more trouble and having any pay taken away would hurt my family, and the Chaplin told me so already! He threw that in my face like it was supposed to just make me shut up and go away! I need to keep my family safe and he used it against me and then acted like he was doing me a favor for bringing it up!

I killed a kid yesterday and I have to know if that makes me a murderer or not. It was the first time I knew for real that someone innocent was dead. I mean, we were under fire, and I just looked up and saw my bullets hit this kid in the side of the face and blow his brains all over the wall.”

What a terribly saddening letter this is.  My heart goes out for this young man, who has been placed in such awful circumstance and is going through such hell.  My heart also goes out to all those who have been casualties of this war of conquest… Yet what I also want to relate here… is that which I referred to earlier… which is that the level to which the American Church has gone over to the dark side is completely revealed in the posting of this soldier.  Before I continue speaking about this… let’s pause long enough to take another short break and listen to another message from those of us here at Antipas Ministries.com.

Alright, welcome back to the Monday, May 08, 2006 edition of the Antipas Audio Journal.  I am your host… Sean Mayfield.  Before the break we were reading the beginning of a tragic letter, which a US soldier wrote.  The letter truly encapsulates the horrors of war… and it also encapsulates just how involved the American Church has become in its murderous execution.

In the letter, the soldier iterates that he went to his chaplain to seek counsel in the aftermath of an episode which saw him mistakenly shoot and kill an innocent child.  Rather than provide this young man with any love, compassion, care, commiseration, or comfort… the Chaplain instead does his best to steer the young man into a mindset that will enable him to forget about what he has done… not in the context of seeking God’s forgiveness… but rather so that he can soldier on… as a part of the force God has ordained to execute His justice.

Think about it.  The chaplain told this kid… that we (i.e. the US) were in the right… because God was with us… and therefore… all the actions committed by US soldiers receive some kind of “blanket pardon”  since they are fighting on the side of God.  The historical irony here is that Hitler’s SS troops had on their belt buckles the expression “God is with is”.  That is not the main point to be made though… the main point is that this is just one small slice of evidence, which proves that the American Christianity is not just a cheerleader here… but a participant.  In fact… American Christianity supplies the cultural foundation and ideological base… upon which the present form of the US military is built.

This doesn’t mean that every soldier identifies himself as a Christian… what it does mean though…is that the Church not only sanctions the actions of the US state and its military apparatus… but they also supply the justification and context… through which US forces go out conquering and to conquer.

To go back to the letter though… This poor kid also shares the fact that when the pastor couldn’t effectively get him back in his right mind through empty platitudes… he then resorted to what is essentially extortion… in that he let the kid know that if he didn’t shut up about his remorse… he would be disciplined resulting in a loss of pay.

How sad and grotesque is all of this… especially in light of the truth in Christ?  For a long time those of us here at Antipas Ministries have been writing about the terrible end that was to come to American Christianity… once its alliance with the State was complete… well… I do believe it is safe to say that this moment has been reached.

At this point we should be aware of the fact that the painting of the present conflicts and those to come in moralistic, religious terms… is going to intensify, not abate.  When a people give themselves over to this sort of madness… they are not going to stand for voices of dissent either… They are not going to allow their consciences to be pricked by the testimony of those who refuse to imbibe of the madness.  Those who justify and glorify slaughter in the name of Christ will next be lead to brutally stamp out those who would dare to speak the truth and expose the charade for what it is.

And this is the pathology, which has been set in motion within the United States.  From this base, i.e. the American Church… the whole of the country will eventually be polluted… until all who remain within that nation eventually become partakers in its terrible sins.

All that is left now is for the catalyst on the other side to set events in motion… which will bring about the next level of misery.  What I am talking about are those within the Muslim world… who rightfully see that the US wishes to destroy them as a people, culture, and religion… but who wrongfully believe that they can take the fight to the beast and come out victorious.

Within the Muslim world… a world overwhelmingly stricken by poverty… due to the structure of the American New World Order System… and the complicit of their own rulers… who have sold their people like chattel in order to serve Imperial America… within the Muslim world there is a rage that has almost built up to the point of crescendo.  The general population of the region… a region which stretches from the sands of North Africa to the hills of Pakistan… is in the throes of a madness all their own.

They are being galvanized into striking back at the American New World Order System.  On a cultural, racial, and most importantly on a religious level… they are being radicalized to the point of no return.  From this pathology spring suicide bombers, the militant implementation of Sharia Law… and eventually a militarization that will bring about the Gog/Magog War, a.k.a. World War 3.

Concurrently… the US is being galvanized to yearn for the same confrontation… not knowing for what they ask… both sides are bringing about their own destruction… one in the immediate aftermath of this coming conflict…[Quote from the afore-linked article by S.R. Shearer: "The very real fact of the matter is, THE AMERICANS ARE ABOUT TO PERMANENTLY DISSOLVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH RADICAL ISLAM BY DISSOLVING ISLAM ITSELF - AND IN DOING SO, THEY ARE PERFECTLY PREPARED TO LIQUIDATE THE PEOPLE OF THE MIDDLE EAST."] the other a scant 7 years or so down the road… and sadly the latter destruction is to be much more terribly in deed.

How long till we get to the first point of all this though?  I don’t know for sure… but I would have to say… NOT LONG.  More news has come out this week, which shows that Iran is pushing to have its new Oil Bourse or Market operational within the next week or so.  What this means is that Iranian oil will no longer be traded in dollars… nor any other oil sold through this market.  If this effort is left unimpeded… it could spell doom for the American economy… and as such the Masters of the American Empire will not allow this to happen.

This is one of the major reasons for the coming military strikes against Iran… and should this new Bourse go online… the clock will ticking… and it will be ticking fast… insofar as the countdown to a strike against Iran is concerned.  When this strike happens… all bets are off.  The potential is there for the entire Muslim world to go up in flames.  The governments in Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan may well rapidly fall to the forces of radical fundamentalist Islam within their borders… and when or if that happens… we are truly on the threshold of the World War 3.

Recently, my friend who lives along the Afghan-Pakistani border shared some more thoughts with me on this matter… and how it specifically relates to Pakistan.  Here is an excerpt from his email… which reveals the crux of what he had to say:

“Dear Sean,

We speak at an interesting time....the rising oil prices may be what touches off the collapse soon to commence in Pakistani society, or they may start a smaller fire which will grow as the other events in the region gather pace...

The country's main alliance of Islamic parties known as the MMA has now announced that it will start a series of protests this month aimed at overthrowing the military ruler Musharraf. Among the usual list of grievances they cited was the rising oil prices, which have caused deep anguish. Although such melodramatic announcements are not uncharacteristic of Pakistani politicians, this time there is more to it. There is surprising ignorance regarding petroleum depletion in this society. The common people here hold their government responsible for raising the prices of oil products, not seeming to realise that these are actually part of a larger global trend over which their government has no control. And they are certainly not aware of Peak Oil per se, or its significance, even those who are educated. (Neither would the government like to enlighten them in this connection, for reasons so obvious). The politicians and demagogues give it this colouration too. But in a way, it can be said, the people too are right: if their elites (part of the global Babylonian "Davos" elites - as Steve Shearer so aptly calls them) consumed less rapaciously, there would be more resources going around for everyone.

Since Petroleum underlies all else in a modern economy, the prices of basic commodities such as flour, sugar and cooking oil have also shot up here as have other staples like eggs, milk and meat, and rising inflation has gripped an already

impoverished and agitated populace. Shopkeepers are starting to hoard stuff and speculate on prices. Tension is rising. Although the socio-political potentials for revolutions may form years beforehand, history shows that the actual events start moving when the bread disappears from the markets... Therefore the rising oil prices alone may touch off street agitation, that could lead to, or "be led" to something larger as time passes... But a US attack on Iran will not only instantly trigger and inflame the passions of the populace, it will also instantly send oil to anywhere above the $100 a barrel mark - leading to an inflationary oil shock with all the attendant consequences: a very potent "double whammy" revolutionary effect. The possibilities here are thus fraught with a potential never before seen, but then that is appropriate, considering the historic (prophetic) significance of the times themselves, in which they are occuring...”

As I said earlier… we are absolutely on the threshold here… as my friend said in conclusion… the potential for things to completely unravel within the Muslim world are at a point never before seen… but insofar as the historic/prophetic context of the times we live in are concerned… we should not be altogether surprised that we have reached this point.

What is left now for those who truly love the Lord is to decide what they are going to do about all of this… because the Lord does require action from all of us.  He does not want us to take back America from those who have hijacked it… He most certainly doesn’t want us getting involved in the bloody game of politics… He also doesn’t want us to take back or even reform the institutional Church… either in the United States or anywhere else throughout the world.

Instead… what the Lord requires is obedience… and a testimony.  He has called His children out of the United States… and most especially out of its wicked Church… as His Word says in Revelation 18: 4 and in Jeremiah 50 and 51.  God say explicitly to “Come out of her my people, lest you partake of her sins and receive of her plagues.”

Christians within the United States… all those who love the truth… must understand this and they must act in obedience to God’s Word on this matter.  Throughout the world… there is a call upon all of us to stand as testimony for Christ and against the evil empire being falsely established in His name… This testimony is one that will require a great price from us all… but the rewards are eternal in nature.

Like I said earlier… we are really on the threshold of seeing things move to the next level.  As all these other factors, which we discussed today continue to play themselves out… the US will also continue to move toward dictatorship… and the man who will eventually seize these reign will be none other than the man of sin himself… At this point I want to transition from my segment on today’s audio journal into Part 7 of Steve’s series on George Bush, the Promise Keepers, and the Principles of Messianic Leadership… because everyone out there needs to understand that history is not just running its course unchecked… we are headed in a certain direction… and the coming of this quote-unquote Messianic Leader is very much a part of all this… So please do pay attention to what Steve is saying here… and take to heart the message being delivered.
