Now that the US has "all but secured Iraq"...
lots of folks are asking what's next? Well, more and more
info keeps coming out about Washington's interest in Syria.
This is actually nothing new, since Syria has been in
the crosshairs of the necon hawks for about
3 years. The more pieces of the puzzle that come together,
the more it seems Damascus may be next on the Washington
hitlist. A review of the
basic facts of the situation... and the similarity
of Washington's current talk to the It's modus operendi
when preparing to invade a country, lead one to believe
it may not be long before the war show moves west of Iraq.
Already the US has "blocked"
a pipeline moving Iraqi oil to Syria... and
talks of sanctions and/or worse have already begun.
It kind of makes one wonder about Isaiah
17: 1, which says: "The
burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from
being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap."
Now in Damascus' over 4000 years of being a city, it has
never once been taken away from being it a city. while suffering
seige and calamity several times, it has always remained
in some capacity. Yet in it's history it has never come
up against the full power of the most powerful nation the
world has ever known... Babylon the Great i.e. the USA.
Might the US mete out this future judgement against Syria
and Damascus? Let us watch and see.
Recently actor Tim Robbins has been disparaged from all
corners for his vocal antiwar stance with an engagement
of his at the Baseball Hall of Fame even being cancelled
by its rightwing President. This was due to Robbins' and
wife Susan Sarandon's supposed endangering of American troops
by speaking out against the war. Well recently Robbins gave
lengthy comment on this and the "state of the nation"...
I think his comments
are worth examining.
As Iraq's cities, Baghdad included, are being burned and
looted by the mobs... there are a few safe places remaining
in Baghdad. Namely the Ministry
of Oil building and the Ministry of the Interior
building. While most everything else is being looted and
destroyed, Bush and company have made sure these "valuable
assets for the Iraqi people" remain unharmed. How benevolent
of them...
Meanwhile the Venezuelan government claims it
has proof that Washington was behind the
failed coup in that country. My question is why would a
Christian man like our esteemed president, try to orchestrate
the overthrow of a democratically elected (twice) President
of a sovereign nation? Could the fact that Venezuela produces
huge amounts of oil and has a nationalized oil industry,
thereby cutting the US petroleum multinationals out of the
pie have anything to do with it? Nah, a man who calls on
the name of Christ wouldn't do such a thing... Would he?
As all this happens, the Bible thumpin' flag waving Republicans
in the House and Senate are doing all they can to gut the
Bill of Rights during this time of maufactured crisis (i.e.
the terrorist threat). Leading the charge is Mormon neo-conservative
Orrin
Hatch. It's funny, 30 years ago the evangelicals
wouldn't touch someone like Orrin with a ten foot cross...
now as along as the money and the cause are in common, they'll
hop into bed with anyone.
And believe me... the evangelicals are weilding enormous
power in this whole affair. While we spend most of our time
exposing their forrays into the worlds of politics and big
business... let us not forget they wed this to their perverted
form of the gospel and a missionary
zeal unmatched since the crusaders... Whose
footsteps and methods they eerily seem to be retracing.
This will no doubt further inflame the Arab world, which
they mind not one whit. Since they have long ago accepted
the fact that a big battle is coming. So when news comes
out, like the fact that Iran
won't recognize any US led government in
Iraq ... they take it all in stride. Since they plan on
dealing with the Iranians as well.
In closing... let us not forget that this is all about
the big
bucks. This war, the future wars, and the
solidifying of the American empire... it's all about the
green. While the Church thinks it is riding this beast to
accomplish it's own ends, it is dead wrong. The beast isn't
going to share its stage with anyone, and at the appropriate
time it will turn on the Church and devour it, even more
mercilessly than it is currently doing to Iraq.

That's right I'm back... whether you like it or not. To
paraphrase Chuck D, "A nation of millions can't hold
me back."... nor a fried motherboard. So much has happened
since my computer went down.... Baghdad fell, Tikrit fell,
the unemployment rate rose, etc. etc. Rather than go back
and rehash a week's worth of news you have probably already
seen, I'll just jump straight ahead to the events of the
day. First off though a huge thanks to Jack for lending
me his machine to put out this journal (my machine won't
be back up until this weekend), and a big thanks to all
of you for sending me the emails you did the past week.
There were so many, and I will answer them... just be patient
as I get caught up.
First up is the next stop on the all war all the time channel:
Syria... seems the Syrians have placed themselves firmly
in the crosshairs of the Crawford
Caligula. This continues the US's theme of
attacking smaller nations who we can "defeat easily".
What do you expect from the bunch calling the shots? This
is only the beginning of their "wargames"...
and just like a good "ball-team" they want to
take on a few lightweights before locking horns with a larger
force.
Meanwhile, esteemed "Christians" such as the
honorable Reverend Falwell are too busy saving us from the
evils of Tim Robbins and Danny Glover to
offer any worthwhile pronouncements on what our Savior may
actually think about all this. Plus by zeroing in on the
decadent, lascivious, prurient, traitorous tendencies of
the "pinko" Hollywood crowd, he can more easily
avoid all of the lies
and hypocrisy disseminating from the Grand
Potentate... GWB.
Anyway, it seems some folks are actually questioning what
patriotism actually means... meaning
love of country as differentiated from love of government.
This is no new thing. Those who support rapacious conquest
have always wrapped themselves in the cloak of patriotism.
Sadly the Church has always been at the forefront of this
blind worship of American might. Mark Twain, possibly the
most famous of all American authors, battled this type of
imperialism
disguised as patriotism back at the turn
of the last century. For that he was labeled as blasphemous,
a traitor, and several other things not worthy for print,
by the mainstream lemmings of his day (the Church included).
His most forceful anti-imperialist message, "To
the Person Sitting in the Darkness,"
caused a fire storm in its day... when he dared to question
the imperialist ambitions of the US in the Philippines (where
over 1 million Filipino's ended up dying as a result)...
Seems times haven't changed that much over the 10 decades.
As a matter of fact they are probably worse now, seeing
as America no longer has to even share the stage with troublesome
"junior partners".
All of this is lost on Christendom, however. Rather than
live their lives as citizens of Christ's Kingdom (Hebrews
11) they would rather spend all of their passions
and resources in rallying around the cause of old glory
and perverting the scriptures to justify their clamoring
for war. Now as Christians we are most certainly called
to subject ourselves to the "powers that be" (Romans
13), yet in this nation, those that claim to
be Christian are the "powers that be". They even
go so far as to claim this to be some sort of Christian
nation... when it serves their purposes. Check out this
deluded commentary from the much esteemed million dollar
pastor of the gargantuan Second Baptist Church of Houston,
Texas, Dr.
Ed Young. It seems Dr. Young felt compelled
to ease the conscious of his parishioners about the criteria
for just war... I don't know about Ed, but the way I read
it... after the Cross, we as Christians are to be called
out from among the nations. We are to be a separate and
holy people... not bound by geographic, ethnic, or national
boundaries, but united with all those who through Jesus
Chris,t are heirs of the Kingdom to come. I will not trade
that glorious reward to do as the good Dr. Young says "choose
between the lesser of two evils." I will choose the
totality of victory in Christ. I will choose the redemption
that will occur upon His return... not a victory for Exxon-Mobile,
"going to the shopping mall", and the blue chip
industrials. Guys like Ed Young are compromised, deluded
ministers of this world. Follow them at your own peril...
If this sounds harsh to you... read the words of Christ,
He doesn't need me to speak for Him... His word speaks for
themselves... Amen

Its been a while since I last posted, so I have lots of
links to share with you. As the war coverage goes on, the
marketing aspect of it all is quite interesting. While in
reality war is a "tough
sell"... the networks are using all
the soundbites, slogans, and catchy graphics they can to
make this all palatable to the American people.
Believe me... I am no British apologist, but in times past,
when Queen Victoria's empire spanned the globe, The Brits
were somewhat pliant towards indigenous cultures. Seems
some former subjects don't
see that trait in the American Empire. Even
British soldiers in Iraq have been
baffled by US heavy-handedness towards the
locals. Much of this probably stems from America's overall
lack of experience as a long-term occupying force... yet
the demonization of the enemy in general (Arabs, Muslims)
also has much to do with this.
Waiting in the wings for a role in any Iraqi interim government
is INC lead Ahmed
Chalabi... this guy has much more in common
with the American and British elites than he has with his
own people. Yet he is the choice among the Washington hawks
in spite of the fact most Iraqis don't even know who he
is.
Changing the subject... The US prison population has now
surpassed
2 million. We lock up more people than any
nation in the world. It will only get worse... The folks
who end up in jail will be poor and minority people for
the most part. Eventually even those who dare to speak out
against the evils of the system. The real criminal element
will never face jail time though... You know the guys who
have overseen the deaths of thousands upon thousands world
wide and have fleeced the pockets of not just third-world
citizens, but of the American people as well. A group of
these types will be meeting
in Lisbon, Portugal very soon to make their
plans for increasing their spoils in the war without end
scheme they helped to hatch. Take refuge in Christ and nothing
else my friend... because the world is fit only for judgment.
Meanwhile US troops are pressing in on Baghdad as I write
this. Some reports say the Iraqi army is setting up for
the
final battle. There are also battles on our
own streets, as Oakland
police opened fire on protesters and Longshoremen
over the weekend. Questions have once again arisen about
the use of excessive force by the police. As things continue
to unfold in the permanent war footing we are on... these
kinds of clashes will increase, especially if the economy
continues to suffer. Some are saying Bush is running
out of time to mend the economy. They are
even speculating that it could be his downfall, just as
it was for his daddy after the Gulf war in 91. I believe
we are at a point where these guys won't give up power no
matter what happens. Whatever it takes to prevent that from
happening... they'll do.
Plus, it is very likely that an American controlled Iraq
will spell the collapse
of OPEC. Which at the very least will increase
the already gigantic power of American oil companies to
the stratosphere. It also might allow them to use dirt cheap
Iraqi petroleum to begin jump starting the American economy...
And of course don't forget all the spoils to be divied
up in rebuilding Iraq.
Never one to shy away from impropriety, the American church
just keeps chugging along impervious to what she has become.
Recently, one prominent ministry even began setting up an
event for fellow-ministers at a military base... a kind
of commando-style
evangelism camp. Jesus
wept (John 11: 35). While all this insanity
is going on, nobody wants to talk about all the depleted
uranium Iraqis and US soldiers are being
exposed to from the munitions being used by the US in Iraq.
Nor do they want to talk about the fact that our occupying
army will be breathing and drinking the stuff during all
their occupation of the country. We at Antipas have discussed
the use
of DU munitions before... and why the price
of dead soldiers later on is worth minuscule casualties
in the field to the elites who run this country. Sadly,
in their lust for conquest the Church has bought into this
idea as well. Jesus wept (John
11: 35).
Instead of being overwhelmed by the imagery of the war
on TV, check out these pertinent numbers
on the conflict and the world in general...
And these numbers are only going to get worse, because the
real war has just begun. After this, in addition
to the troubles of occupation, America has Damascus
in her sights... as well as Tehran, Cairo,
Riyadh, etc.
While all this is going on, the CIA is busy reestablishing
its presence in our Universities. Just like
the good old days of the Cold War... only times 10. In all
of this so many are beginning to see what is behind the
mask of Lady Liberty. It isn't too hard to see if you want
to. Sadly, because of the Church's "fornication"
with America, those who see the US for the beast it is dismiss
Christianity as false. All they see is a kind of Bullets,
Bombs, Bibles, and Bush type of faith in
this country. It is up to those of us who truly love Christ
and His commandments to expose the Lies of Bush and his
religious underlings and to show the lost Christ's true
testimony. Men like John
Hagee and TD
Jakes are leading thousands and thousands
straight to hell. It is up to those who truly love the Son
to fearlessly share the True Christ with the world.
April 3, 2003
Leave to our old friend Pat Robertson to stir things up.
This time at Princeton University, He once again goes off
on how America
was founded on the Bible. Really, I guess
the founding fathers didn't have Romans
13 in theirs. With things heating up in the
war, an Ex-CIA director says the US faces WW
IV. He of course considers the Cold War as
WW III.
Bible prophecy paints a picture similar. In it the final
form of the "Roman Empire" establishes
the a final World Empire... This is exactly what the Right-wing
wants, an
enduring Pax Americana. You can't have a
free society to do that however, you need something much
more akin to fascism.
The way this war is being covered, you can see the beginnings
of the mindset leading to all of this... a sort of arrogant
propaganda, where the government isn't even
worrying about its lies being discovered. Some see this
as a kind of hubris
from the hawks calling the shots. Thinking
that not realizing the failings of their plans, these guys
will lead the US into a terrible quagmire. Yet they want
this to all escalate, so they can apply all of their plans
for the "big picture". This will all send the
world into a degenerative cycle of barbarism,
which is just what they need to straddle the globe. In such
a Darwinian environment, the most powerful ends up on top.
Poor GW... the strain of the war is really getting to him.
Yet a close friend says, "He
knows that we're all here to serve a calling greater than
self''... My question is, who's calling is
he answering? Ringed by ideologues committed to the cause,
an adoring "Christian" population, and a compliant
media, he no doubt will overcome this "strain."
A funny thing happened during the course of reporting this
war. While the networks play like super-patriots, the only
critical voices you hear are coming from the retired
Generals serving as expert talking heads.
Something no one is talking about though, is the effect
US treatment of Guantanamo detainees is having on the enemy's
treatment of American
POWs in Iraq. Meanwhile... unprecedented
in the annals of history, Bush and co. are actually trying
to use the war to sell
his tax cut... just where pray tell, will
the money for all those JDAMs, cluster bombs, and cruise
missiles come from?
Meanwhile in the heartland, a war
protest is met by rabid opposition drummed
up of course by the local radio conglomerate. Radio stations
creating the news isn't the only unethical thing going on...
The business
connections of the hawks pushing this war
is well worth examining. Which leads to the question of
really who
will profit from war in Iraq?
There is much more war to come folks... this is just like
the appetizer in one of those 20 course Roman feasts. Yes,
that's right... Iraq
is just a trial run... but it gives them
all the diversion they need to also ram the Patriot
2 through Congress.
Well, our email addresses are working again... so for any
comments, you can reach me at sean@endtimesnetwork.com.

With all the death and destruction taking place in Iraq...
American Evangelicals haven't missed an opportunity to promote
the king, George Bush. Apparently the soldiers are being
given
"pledge cards", which they are
being asked to mail in pledging that they will pray for
GW. All of this is being done by apostate-patriot minister
Charles Stanley's Intouch
Ministries. He is very fervent in securing
the soldier's and all of our prayers
for Bush. My question is was he praying for
our past presidents, Clinton included, as the Scripture
admonishes us to do? Meanwhile, elsewhere in Christendom
the talk is on how to get into the
right frame of mind for Christian's coming
battles in war and politics. Our Lord surely weeps at their
lust for mastery of the things of this world.
They ought to be praying for the people on all sides who
are trapped in this war. War changes people and makes them
much more willing to do things they otherwise wouldn't countenance.
Just examine this harrowing account of US
Marines at "the bridge of death"
to see how war consumes the best of us in terrible, terrible
ways.
Many are focusing on how difficult victory will be in Iraq,
seeing it as a sort of "Bay
of Pigs Meets Blackhawk Down". The are
even saying the odds
are against success. Yet what is happening
as witnessed in the linked articles above is the resolve
of the soldiers and shortly the American people to be willing
to do "whatever is necessary" to attain victory.
Keep an eye on this site: Iraqi
Bodycount. As the level of violence escalates,
watch the number rise. The alternative is for the US to
take on shocking
numbers of casualties itself. With these
choices Baghdad, Basra, and other population centers will
surely be leveled if necessary.
Meanwhile it all plays like the ultimate in reality
TV at home... without the more gruesome pictures
of what bombs, grenades, bullets, and mortar rounds do to
the people whom they obliterate, be they Iraqi soldiers,
civilians or our own GI's. We can't see it here, but a less
censored account of what is occurring (with a pro-Arab bias)
is that of Al-Jazeerah. The NY Times says the Arab
network is important, if the US is sincere
in its talk of establishing democracy in the region. For
whatever its worth, here is a link to the English
language version of the infamous site...
proceed at your own risk. Actually, those of us who love
the truth have nothing to fear from either Al-Jazeerah or
Fox News. Both obviously are pushing an agenda, but neither
are a threat to Christ. The world may obfuscate the Truth,
but it cannot overcome it. This is why the testimony of
true believers in Christ is so important. I say let everyone
have their say and the Truth will ultimately win...
Sadly those within our administration don't feel that way.
They have sold the conquest of Iraq and subsequently the
rest of the Middle East under a false
bill of goods, knowing this first step will
lead to a prolonged sequence of events they hope will secure
US hegemony over the region. This bears a striking resemblance
to Biblical prophecy doesn't it?
March 28, 2003
Well, I have been saying for some time that the so called
"nightmare
scenario" for US forces in Iraq plays
right in to Bush and the right-wingers plans. they feel
turbulence is their ally, since their plans for regime change
run far beyond Iraq. Let us not forget the importance
of oil however... they are not interested
in that patch of desert for any old reason... its geopolitical
importance for building an empire are predicated on the
oil.
This is why they are willing to throw away all the alliances
built since WWII... Its not that they necessarily want to
throw them away, its just that when faced with preserving
them at the price of forgoing empire, they choose empire.
The line of thinking in the hawk circles now is that "the
United Nations is now finished", along
with NATO.
One of the prime authors of the startegy of empire took
the fall this week as Richard
Perle resigned his Defense Policy Board Chair
this week, after allegations of his potential postwar profiteering
came out. That's alright he served his purpose in the grand
game... Now that the banner has been picked up, Rumsfeld
has already begun sizing up the next target and it might
be Syria.
I don't know if you heard about Michael Moore's speech
at the Oscars, but it was a doozy. Well, here is an Op-ed
in the LATimes where he explains what
led him to make the speech.
Also, lets not forget the electronic voting machine scandal
I keep mentioning here periodically. Now the Washington
Post is running a piece about it. I'm telling
you, there is no way Bush will lose in 2004. Those machines
will probably be programmed to ensure it doesn't happen.
With no paper receipt to prove how a person really voted,
how would anyone ever know?
Back to the war... it some diluted neoconservatives actually
thought this war and subsequent establishment of "democracy"
in Iraq would improve
our image in the Mideast and the rest of
the world... what were they thinking? Obviously the are
secular and not Christian, because the Christian leaders
in this administration know this will set off events leading
to the big battle they really want. Even if the Bible dead
set against their lust for war... Just ask Pat Robertson.
He has dropped all pretense and now says, "The
question is not one of what the Bible says. It is just practical
politics. We don't have an effective United Nations. We
tried it with the League of Nations and it didn't work.
"
Wow Pat... what kind of Christianity is that where practicality
wins out over the Word of God? Well for starters, it is
the kind embraced by not just Robertson, but Bush, Ashcroft,
Rice, Rove, Reed, Adleson, Kennedy, Crouch, Hinn, Stanely,
Hagee, Wagner, and a host of others... a kind the Bible
exposes as false... in a very real sense, antichrist.

Newsflash-- we are still in the
process of getting the EndtimesNetwork
site back up. Most of the pages are up, we are just working
out some details. The links on this page to most articles
on the other site should be working. Hopefully email and
everything else will be back later tonight.

Newsflash---- the server hosting
the EndtimesNetwork website has been crashed by some entity.
We are getting the site up on another server as we speak.
Everything should be back up by tomorrow (03/27/03). Additionally,
we have not been able to receive emails during this period.
Once the site is back up, you may resume emailing us at

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the
president, or that we are to stand by the president, right
or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally
treasonable to the American public."
--Theodore Roosevelt, 1918
Well Teddy would surely be run out of town in this day
and age. If you are not for the war you are for the terrorist...
even though Hussein and Iraq had nothing to do with the
9/11 terrorists who were largely Saudis and Pakistanis.
Now we see Bush
and Rumsfeld accussing Iraqis of war-crimes
for mistreating American soldiers, as well they should be,
but don't you think they brought this on the troops themselves
by sanctioning the type of treatment we did on Taliban and
al-Queda capturees in Afghanistan? Why would they be suprised
that Iraq won't live up to standards that the US
government only does when it is convenient?
Meanwhile, it seems the oil fires in Iraq aren't the only
smoke-screen in operation. Bush's apostate Atorney General
is getting ready to ram Patriot2
through Congress under the smoke-screen of war. For an in
depth report the past two year's vast erosion of civil liberties,
check out "Imbalance
of Powers," a 96 page report in PDF
format on just how the Homeland Security Act, Patriot I,
and the upcoming Patriot II are gutting the Bill of Rights.
Many folks are asking just how
we got to where we are now. Most operate
under many misconceptions on how this war plan got started,
but when you look at the eschaetology of Bush and his cronies
(Dominionism), it all makes since. Eventually, they will
drop the hammer on any resisting Iraqis and quite that hate
Saddam have vowed
to resist US control after his ouster...
so what this means is much blood will be shed in the long
run... because Bush and Co. have a long range plan.
This plan is of course American
Empire. While some folks are beginning to
see this, most completely miss the crucial component in
all of it, which is Christianity. Empires are built on the
blood of the masses... and even callous men realize you
must undergird hegemonic ambitions with the cause of religion...
in America's case that religion is the apostate form of
"Cultural Christianity" that the Religious Right
embraces.
Some military analysts are very critical
of the "Rumsfeld plan" of achieving
victory in Iraq. Once again, poor planning at the top will
lead to an overcompensation of force that will devastate
the region... sadly the men in power have no problem with
this. They figure they'll have to seriously depopulate the
Muslim world to control it anyway.
March 24, 2003
As I sit here watching the war unfold via CNN and the Internet,
I want to make a few things perfectly clear... Number 1,
I and everyone else at Antipas Ministries desire, above
all things, for our soldiers and everyone involved in this
conflict to be spared from death and injury and that this
conflict come to as swift a conclusion as possible in order
to diminish the opportunity for greater suffering and loss
of life than has already occurred. I also wish to stress
that pointing out the true origins of this conflict and
the duplicitous motives of our Christian leaders in clamoring
for it, is in no way indicative of feelings of ill-will
towards the men and women of this nation who are doing the
fighting. Most of these soldiers come from humble background,
many are minorities, and most all joined the military for
reasons other than desiring to conquer the world and/or
kill other human beings.
Sadly the power brokers in this affair, almost all of whom
either claim to be or are allied to Christians/Christianity,
have revealed themselves to be the apostates they are. They
have done so by rushing headlong into an endeavor, which
at best is going to cost several thousand lives in the short-term
and at worst will be the "beginning of the sorrows"
i.e. the instigation of a series of events that will bring
about an incredible war between American/Western forces
and those of the Muslim world. These "Christians"
in their lust for riches, power, and literal dominion in
this world eagerly anticipate the opportunity to wipe the
Muslim world off the map. They truly see this as the opening
salvo in a so called "civilization war" in which
the forces of God (America, the West, and Israel) will destroy
Islam, what is left of communism, liberalism (as they define
it), and any other religion that refuses to bend knee to
their version of Christ.
I tell you, their version of Christ is in no way, shape,
or form related to the actual Son of God, Prince of Peace,
and King of Kings, Jesus Christ. Theirs is a God and religion
that knows nothing of grace and even less of love or compassion.
They are a people who can open their Bibles and not see
plainly the commandments of Christ concerning our conduct
towards one another. They are also a people who professing
to have faith, actually have no faith at all. The Bible
defines faith as, "the substance
of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
(Hebrews 11: 1) This definition by God's own
word is certainly lost on them. They place their faith in
their own riches and the riches of this country. They place
their faith in the military supremacy of this nation. Theirs
is a faith based on tangible evidence of their worth, which
they deduce by counting their money and all of the abilities
(including to make war) that it will buy.
They are lost and barring divine intervention are beyond
repair. Does this mean that I will not continue to speak
the truth to them on all occasions offered? No it does not...
What it means is they have been given over to their baser
instincts and are rightly summed up by these passages from
the New Testament:
"For the time will come when
they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own
lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,
and shall be turned unto fables." II Timothy 4:
3,4
"These are wells without water,
clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist
of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak great
swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts
of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean
escaped from them who live in error. While they promise
them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption:
for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought
in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions
of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome,
the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For
it had been better for them not to have known the way of
righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from
the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened
unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned
to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her
wallowing in the mire." II Peter 2: 17-22
These are serious issues. Those who would not consider
the ramifications of all that is happening in our day set
themselves up for a very hard fall. To not recognize the
intentions of the "Christians" who are setting
the "policy objectives" of this country and their
pew-sitting lackeys that fervently wave the flag is to close
your eyes and hope you can stumble along without falling
into the ditch. The odds are against you. Christians reading
this need to examine who they are truly serving, the Christ
of the Bible or Uncle Sam on a cross. Because chasing after
the latter is sure to put you in the category of those described
by the above passage from II Peter.
Non-Christians reading this need to open their eyes as well.
The men in charge of this country have a plan and it is
very explicit. What is occurring now is only the beginning
of what they see as a glorious victory over the "forces
of evil" (of which they certainly consider you and
I to be), which will usher in a World Empire they will present
to Jesus upon His return.
You say this seems too wacky to consider... Well, open
your history book and tell me it cannot occur. Even if you
do not believe in prophecy, surely you believe in "self-fulfilling
prophecy"... Well let me tell you, these guys have
400 billion dollars per year at their disposal to ensure
their version of prophecy comes to pass. So the warning
to you is to look at the endgame on the horizon and examine
what the possible alternatives are. I know, through faith
in Christ (the true Christ) what my alternatives are and
am more than willing to share that alternative with you.
Yet if you reject that, do not reject my warning of events
to come. These guys are never giving up the power they now
have. Even if a Democrat wins an election rigged against
him in 2004, he will never be allowed to take office. We
are truly at that point where naked use of power and force
(even to derail our pseudo-democracy) is not beyond their
scope of "reasoning".
Watch as this war churns on and the nation becomes more
and more galvanized in its support not just for our soldiers
(who deserve it), but in their worship of GW Bush and his
fellow apostates. Watch how much harder it is about to become
to utter any view conceived as critical of the Commander
in Chief. Watch how Christians who in times past were sitting
on the fence either get swept up in the "patriotic
flood" or get beaten down into cowering silence...
Also watch how those such as myself are marginalized, ridiculed,
and even threatened for merely quoting the Bible when the
word that is quoted exposes the lies of those in power.
This may all seem very ominous and depressing for those
of us Christians in the good old US of A. We are accustomed
to the good times and now that the storm is upon us it will
be difficult to acknowledge it may actually be time to put
our money where our mouth is.
I believe Christ will prevail in us. Those who cling to
Him and the hope of His return, while showing His love to
a world gone mad; will find peace and joy. He promises us
that in our testimony on earth we will face trials and tribulation.
Yet He also promises that as He has overcome, so shall we.
So let us rejoice in His victory and let us go about the
business He has commanded us to do; the business of testifying
of the hope of glory, which is Christ Jesus, through our
words and our deeds, among which first and foremost is to
love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

There are a few article I'd like to share today...
Bush is using all that is evolving to his advantage. What
9-11 began, this war amplifies... and that is to keep Americans
in a perpetual
state of fear, which will be used to solidify
power at home and abroad. Shock
and Awe is but one such manifestation of
the Bush policy of fear. The long term strategy is to place
the American people and the world in such a tenuous state
that they will accept any and all measures required to guarantee
safety i.e. prosperity.
Because this is just the beginning my friend... The plan
after Iraq involves, a "radical
reform of the UN, regime change in Iran and Syria, and "containment"
of France and Germany." Think that will
stir the pot enough? Our Christian president certainly knows
how to turn a phrase... according to Time
Magazine, Bush said, "F**k Saddam. We're
taking him out." Way back in March of 2002. I guess
its OK for the president to use such coarse language...
whenever we at Antipas quote stuff like that, we usually
get excommunicated... but I guess the POTUS exemption applies
here.
One thing that is still making me sick is how this war
is being glorified like an NFL game by the compliant American
Media. They need all that pizzazz to make up for the fact
that their scripts are being written by the
administration.
Last but certainly not least... Keep an eye on the situation
with the Turks. Don't be surprised if when all is said and
done, they end up firmly in the Islamic camp in the future
escalation of conflict. Despite being warned by the Americans
to stay out of Northern Iraq, the Turks say
they
will put forces in Iraq.
Also, be sure to check out the latest Dene's
Diary... which was just updated this past
week. Also check back on ISRP often as I will try and become
more frequent in providing these journals.
March 20, 2003
I guess everyone has been glued to WarTv since last night.
They have glamorized this all so much that I don't quite
know if I'm watching war coverage or the NFL on Fox... Nonetheless,
the news is happening very fast. By the time I finish this
journal all this news will be old. I had all these articles
I found earlier today (during breaks at work), but by the
time I got home... a lot of them were obsolete. Plus, the
server had problems with the Website today... hmm... Anyway,
things have finally begun. This is truly the beginning of
the sorrows. Yet GW isn't too sorrowful about all of this.
Knight
Ridder reports that minutes before President
Bush's Wednesday night speech, "an internal television
monitor showed the President pumping his fist. 'Feels good,'
he said." Senator Byrd of West Virginia is none too
happy, stating, "Today
I weep for my country,"...
Everyone saw last night's attack intended
to assassinate Hussein, but you may not have
seen Hussein's plans for a Stalingrad-style
defense of Iraq... Of course if things keep
going as they are, the whole regime might collapse before
Shock and Awe or urban combat are ever needed. While this
would no doubt be a good thing, as it would spare many lives...
it would in no way impede the US thirst for empire, nor
would it alter this countries destiny as Babylon
the Great.
And in a prophetic sense, things with Turkey are playing
out very interestingly. If Turkey is to be one of the attacking
nations of Ezekiel
38, then now would seem to be the time for
them to be drawn away from the West... This does seem to
be happening, 1st with their voting against US forces attacking
Iraq from the Turkish border and now with the US' firm warning
to stay
out of Iraq... Even though the Turks did
agree to US warplanes using their airspace, this wasn't
enough for our government to approve the multi-billion dollar
aid package Turkey is going to need to keep its economy
afloat during this war and its aftermath. All of these factors
could very well accomplish what fundamentalist Muslims within
that nation have dreamed of for years: Islam's return to
prominence in what is now a secular state.
On the home front, guys like former Entertainment Tonight
host Bill O'Reilly are openly calling anyone who protests
this war after its commencement a traitor
in a very literal sense of the word. Guys like O'Reilly
are really starting to show their true colors now. They
care not one whit for democracy, free speech, etc... instead
they care only about enriching themselves and their masters,
and demonizing anyone who dares question the actions of
the Elites. Sadly and prophetically, the time is coming
when they won't differentiate between those who protest
and those like me... who as believers in Christ stand testifying
against the false Christians who are leading the charge
for American Empire.
Make no mistake about it... they are gunning for a paradigm
shift... not just in the efforts at establishing a century
of conservatism, but in redrawing the map of the whole world.
It really is not
about terrorism, WMD or liberation; but is
instead about constructing a beast that will dominate the
world and "brake
in pieces, and stamp(ed) the residue (of the nations of
the world) with its feet"... with terrible
weapons like the B-2
stealth bomber, its 2000 LB bombs, and such
monstrosities as thermobaric
bombs one can see how this will happen and
can truly understand the words of Revelation
13: 4, "...Who is
like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"
If you are getting tired of the corporate spin machine's
reporting of things, you can always check out some of the
warblogs being posted on the web. Here is a link
to one such up-to-the-minute type war news site... and believe
it or not, the antiwar protesters haven't given up as of
yet. Thursday was a huge day for protests in many US cities,
including San
Francisco. But aside from sicking pitbulls
like O'Reilly on them, Bush and Co. are also using the terror
threat angle to keep the populace in the proper state of
fear. They are already prepared to blame any mishap on protesters
disrupting terror security efforts and have used the rainbow
colored threat warnings to squelch every negative surge
in public opinion against this war... A recent Spiked
article
says, "In such a climate, the propaganda offensive
on the home front seems to have shifted from convincing
us of any value to the war itself to scaring us about the
potential for attack." This is so true, as the
thinking seems to be that if you keep the populace fearful
enough, they'll acquiesce to any military action abroad
or suspension of rights at home. Isn't it apropos that Saint
Benjamin Franklin of the American Church of Manifest Destiny
said, "They that can give up essential liberty to
obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty
nor safety." Bush and company can't even keep the
sayings of their own gods, much less those of the God.
Or better yet, take the words of US Supreme Court Justice
Robert Jackson, US representative to the International Conference
on Military Trials, Aug. 12, 1945:
"We must make clear to the Germans that the wrong
for which their fallen leaders are on trial is not that
they lost the war, but that they started it(emphasis
mine). And we must not allow ourselves to be drawn into
a trial of the causes of the war for our position is that
no grievances or policies will justify resort to aggressive
war. It is utterly renounced and condemned as an instrument
of policy."
... Doesn't leave much room for a policy of preemption
does it?
Seems as if the Republic has died and we have now moved
on to the Empire...
can the time
of the Emperor be long in coming? and when
the Emperor rules, the coffers of him and his cronies are
always enlarged. Just ask Mr. cheney about that while he's
setting Halliburton up for all those contracts to rebuild
Iraq. Contracts that while delayed
in the Senate, are due to be fast tracked
soon.
Sadly, as our soldiers are charging in to Iraq, they are
also being fed the gospel
of the guns and bombs, Dominionist Jesus
from their Chaplains and from America's churches. It is
my prayer, that all these battle field conversions will
lead to a true seeking and finding of everlasting faith
in the real Jesus Christ... and these young men are not
just being proselytized into the Emperor's crusader version
of Bayonette-Christianity.
When the smoke is all settled in Iraq, I'm afraid the latter
will be true. The Emperor's plans run far beyond that ancient
land and entail reshaping
the entire Mideast. These plans have been
in place for quite some time and they will not be deterred.
March 17, 2003
Well, I made it back from Knoxville late last night and
am just now getting caught up. Tomorrow I'll write a little
on how wonderful things went there. In the meantime, I thought
I'd share a few news articles with you.
Things are happening so fast in the news that I can barely
keep up. I tell you, working a full time job and then putting
this journal together is not overly difficult... but when
events move as fast as they are moving now, it gets tough
to keep the links I provide from becoming dated before I
post them. Finding the information is not hard, but paring
down the 30 to 40 articles a day I go through, to the 10
or so that end up on the site is a real race.... Anyway...
It looks like its time to get this war going. As everyone
knows by now, Bush has given
Saddam 48 hours to vacate the premises. It
comes as no surprise he decided to forego the trouble of
putting it before the UN. It also comes as no surprise that
tonight's speech was just more of the same lies about Saddam's
link with terrorists, Iraq's oil being for the Iraqi people,
and our plans to liberate the country. Sadly, the American
public seem to be buying this stuff, especially the Church.
I don't think they are so much buying it as they are just
going along with the president because they too want to
kick some a$$ (pardon my French). However, don't be surprised
to see US forces jump
the gun and begin eliminating Iraqi threats
as soon as tonight... As if we haven't already been doing
that through our continuous bombing of the country since
the end of the Gulf War.
As if we had any delusions, even the State Department's
own analysts are saying the idea of a once established democratic
Iraq causing some kind of democratic "domino effect"
throughout the Mideast is "not
credible".
As we all know, Bush's true aims having nothing to do with
dominos and whole lot to do with the big bucks to be made
in the region. Not the least of which are the hundreds of
millions a handful of firms who were big
contributors towards Bush's 2000 election
stand to rake in upon being invited to rebuild Iraq.
Another issue I've been looking at lately is how all of
the Christian conspiracy theories of the UN or the EU rising
up to surpass, usurp, or replace American hegemony are collapsing
like the dominos mentioned above. I mean really, tonight
George Bush truly did make the UN irrelevant. Looks like
Kofi Annan, Butros Butros Gali, and Gorbachev weren't the
ones flying those black helicopters after all.
Then of course the mad rush as of late has been to prove
how the EU was going to rise, especially when its currency
replaces the dollar as the world's oil currency. Well, the
US has now gutted the EU just as completely, if not more
so, than they have the UN. In addition to Britain and Spain
allying with Bush, the whole of Eastern
Europe is firmly in the back pockets of your
old Uncle Sammy. The issue with those Christians looking
for the UN/EU Beast is once again their failure to truly
admit that their little patch of the American dream is just
as bloodstained, sinful and corrupt as anybody else's They
either cannot or will not accept the fact they are truly
living in the belly of the beast, and just as Pharaoh was
raised up for his purpose... so too has the United States
of American been raised up to play the role of the beast
(aka Babylon the Great).
Gore
Vidal sees this, and he is not even a Christian.
Why can people like Vidal see this, yet the supposed "Bride
of Christ" remain blinded? Most probably because the
Bride began a long time ago to whore herself out to the
moneyed
elites for the riches and political
power she lusted after in her own heart...
and due to that she is blind to the truth, and as Peter
said,
"For if after they have escaped
the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled
therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them
than the beginning. For it had been better for them not
to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they
have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered
unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the
true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again;
and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire."
II Peter 2: 20-22
