of my comments in the Antipas
Audio Journal of March 22, 2006]
Hello to everyone and welcome to today’s Antipas Audio
Journal. Today’s date is Wednesday, March 22, 2006 and
I am your host, Sean Mayfield. I’ve got a lot on the plate
for today’s broadcast. I’ve got some news and commentary
to share with you… and then we have another installment
of Steve Shearer’s segment on the imperative to flee Babylon.
With so much ahead of us I really wanted to jump right into
things.
Before I do though… I want to quickly encourage everyone

Yesterday I received a link to a bombshell of an article
from a friend of mine. The article is from the March 19th
edition of the New York Times and its title is:
Task Force 6-26: In Secret Unit's 'Black Room,'
a Grim Portrait of U.S. Abuse
by ERIC SCHMITT and CAROLYN MARSHALL
The article reveals the extensive use of torture by the
US military in Iraq. Specifically it shows how much of
the torture and abuse of detainees that has taken place
has been done by the hands of America’s “elite Special Operations”
units.
Overall these types of units are playing a much larger
part in US military operations than ever before… and this
includes not just the torture cited in the NY Times article…
but increasing involvement in what can only be described
as “death squad activity.”
There is a common thread here… which stretches through
this latest revelation of US torture activities, directly
to the center of the religious right, Dominionism, and American
Christianity as a whole… and even on through to US supported
death squad activities throughout Latin America and Southeast
Asia. The activities of these “elite Special Operations
units” are where we are going to start though… so let’s
get going.
The New York Times article I mentioned moments ago highlights
the involvement of special operations units in serious cases
of torture and abuse in Iraq. The particular unit in question
is Task Force 6-26.
I want to read some specific excerpts from the Times article
pertaining to all this… so bear with me while I jump around.
I do though… definitely encourage everyone to read the article
in its entirety at the NY TIMES website, whose address is
www.nytimes.com.
The following are quotes from the Times
article:
“As the Iraqi insurgency intensified in early 2004,
an elite Special Operations forces unit converted one of
Saddam Hussein's
former military bases near Baghdad into a top-secret detention
center. There, American soldiers made one of the former
Iraqi government's torture chambers into their own interrogation
cell. They named it the Black Room…
…Task Force 6-26 was a creation of the Pentagon's post-Sept.
11 campaign against terrorism, and it quickly became the
model for how the military would gain intelligence and battle
insurgents in the future. Originally known as Task
Force 121, it was formed in the summer of 2003,
when the military merged two existing Special Operations
units, one hunting Osama bin Laden
in and around Afghanistan, and the other tracking Mr. Hussein
in Iraq. (Its current name is Task Force 145.)
The task force was a melting pot of military and civilian
units. It drew on elite troops from the Joint Special Operations
Command, whose elements include the Army unit Delta Force,
Navy's Seal Team 6 and the 75th Ranger Regiment. Military
reservists and Defense Intelligence Agency personnel with
special skills, like interrogators, were temporarily assigned
to the unit. C.I.A. officers, F.B.I. agents and special
operations forces from other countries also worked closely
with the task force.”
Now there is something very specific to make note of here.
The task force now known as 6-26 was formerly named Task
Force 121. For those of you who don’t remember… Task Force
121 is the one started by Right Wing Christian Dominionist,
General Boykin. I’ll have more to say about this facet
of things in a little bit… but I want to divert things for
a moment to look at another aspect of the big picture.
William Arkin, of the Washington Post wrote in his blog
last month about the way the military is shifting its structure
toward an expanded use of special operations units like
Task Force 121. With research to prove it… Arkin shares
how the US military is rapidly moving in the direction of
making special operations units the primary action force
in the various “war theatres” the US is involved in.
Here are a few quotes from Arkin on this subject… and the
dangers inherent in this shift in US military strategy:

“Convinced that the Joint Special Operations Command
needs more authority and responsibility to fight the war
on terrorism, the Pentagon has decided to give the commander
of the secretive and expanded organization a third star
-- a tangible step toward increasing
the role of special operations as called for in the
Quadrennial Defense Review and other Defense Department
plans.
“This phenomenon of the "SOCization" of
the military -- which
I have already written about -- needs a much greater
degree of transparency as well as American popular support
and consent. The shift of the American military towards
special operations forces inherently makes it less accessible
and accountable, while also increasing the number of secret
operations. These secret operations have already been
shown to be at the root of scandals that have had a dramatic
impact on the war on terrorism itself: Just look at Abu
Ghraib, renditions, torture, secret prisons, and aerial
assassinations to name a few…
… Instead Army
Maj. Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the commander of JSOC will
get a third star, a significant elevation.
JSOC (pronounced "jay-sock") is headquartered
in North Carolina and commands and controls clandestine
and elite U.S. military operations of the three services,
as well as the military's special mission units -- the best
known of which is the Army’s ‘Delta Force.’”
So as I made note of earlier… it is quite clear that the
US is shifting toward a model, which will rely more and
more upon special operations units… in spite of the record
already accumulated insofar torture, assassinations, etc.
are concerned.
The thing is though… and I’m now going back to what I was
speaking about earlier… Task Force 121 (now known as Task
Force 6-26) is deeply rooted in militant, Dominionist Christian
theology. Its founder is General Gerry Boykin… and as we’ll
go over in a few moments… he has been quite transparent
about the type of Christianity he practices… and about integrating
(from both directions) the goals and actions of the US military…
with those of the American Church.
Back in October of 2004 Katherine Yurica wrote an excellent
piece on this entitled General Boykin’s “Kingdom Warriors”
On the Road to Abu Graib and Beyond. With the recent
news of Boykin’s “Kingdom Warriors’” involvement in the
continued torture of Iraqis… as reported in the NY Times…
I guess the beyond Yurica referenced has now become a reality.
Yurica provides some critical background on the Christian
roots of the leadership and makeup of Task Force 6-26… and
at this point I want to share some excerpts from her article
on General Boykin… Once again… If you have not as of yet
read this piece in its entirety… it is critical that you

Warriors” On the Road to Abu Ghraib and Beyond

“There is also evidence dominionists have infiltrated
the military with willing personnel and that the military
has similarly infiltrated the churches.
The next chapter of this story begins with Lt. Gen.
William G. “Jerry” Boykin, the Pentagon’s senior military
intelligence official. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic
Institute and State University with a bachelor’s degree
in education in 1971. That same year, he was commissioned
in the U.S. Army where he rose through the ranks to Commanding
General of the U.S. Army Special Forces Command (Airborne)
Fort Bragg, N.C. and then in June 2003 to the present
to Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence at
the Pentagon.[19]…
…Boykin became the focus of media reports when he spoke
about his involvement in the war on terrorism at twenty-three
Baptist and Pentecostal churches across the country, accompanied
by two military aides. According to a 10-month internal
investigation conducted by the defense department’s deputy
inspector general for investigations and reported by the
Washington Post, Boykin received reimbursement for his travel
costs from one of the sponsoring church groups and failed
to report that fact. He wore his uniform and gave the impression
that he was representing the military. [21]
The investigation confirmed that Boykin said that
the U.S. military is recruiting a spiritual army that will
draw strength from a greater power to defeat its enemy.[22] In fact, he told the First Baptist Church
of Broken Arrow, Okla. on June 30, 2002, “What I’m here
to do today is to recruit you to be warriors of God’s kingdom.”[23]
Wait a minute! He was speaking to Christians—so he
was not seeking to evangelize them to become Christians.
What then was he recruiting for? If Boykin is a dominionist,
then those words have a concrete meaning: He was recruiting
soldiers to fight a war to set up God’s Kingdom on earth![24]…
…When we consider Boykin’s speaking and recruitment tour along with the fact
he was addressing Baptists and Pentecostals who are the
backbone of the religious right dominionist movement, alarm
bells should go off. It may be that the Army’s Inspector
General’s office is simply ignorant of the goals of the
religious right, but there is far more evidence that
link the hard right religious world with the U.S. Military.
Boykin not only went on a speaking tour to recruit
“warriors,” but prior to the tour, he’d invited a select
group of Southern Baptist pastors to meet him at the John
F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg,
NC on April 22-23 of 2003…
…The planned meeting was scaled back after attorneys
for Americans United for Separation of Church and State
complained that Boykin was “using his official position
to advance the religious mission of the Southern Baptist
Convention’s FAITH Force Multipliers program.”[27]…
…Some months later, following the “scaled back” meeting
at Fort Bragg, Lt. General Boykin’s name appeared in the
second controversy I mentioned above. In October of 2003,
Boykin and/or his Department of Defense bosses decided if
he couldn’t bring the churches to the military bases, then
he could take his program to the churches. But this stirred
the largest media controversy. Some organizations began
calling for Boykin’s resignation.[28]
Immediately the hard right dominionist church world
vigorously jumped to Boykin’s defense. Most of Boykin’s
supporters are believed to be members of the secret Council
on National Policy.[29]
In an excellent article, Deborah Caldwell, a senior editor
of Belief Net, revealed that among Boykin’s “staunchest
supporters were Focus on the Family’s James Dobson; religious
broadcaster Pat Robertson; the Family Research Council;
the Christian Coalition and the Rev. Bobby Welch.”[30]”
As you should clearly see… Yurica has laid it out there
plainly for everyone to take notice of. The US military
is in fact being infiltrated by Dominionists… and while
they may not have taken control of the whole apparatus…
as of yet. Under the direction of such powerful officers
as Boykin… Special Ops… is pretty much completely in the
fold.
Because you see… that is what Boykin and his allies have
been up to over the past few years… they have been about
the business of “recruiting a spiritual army” in order to
defeat their enemies. This is exactly what Yurica said
when I once again quote:
“The investigation confirmed that Boykin said
that the U.S. military is recruiting a spiritual army that
will draw strength from a greater power to defeat its enemy.[22] In fact, he told the First Baptist Church
of Broken Arrow, Okla. on June 30, 2002, “What I’m here

Once again… Boykin was recruiting soldiers to fight a war
to set up God’s Kingdom on earth!… The fruit of His labors
is Task Force 6-26… formerly known as Task Force 121… Their
methods of fighting this war include torture, rendition,
assassination, and systemic abuse of indigenous populations…
as highlighted by all the evidence in the Times article.
This is the war and type of warfare that the Southern Baptists,
Assemblies of God, Pentecostals, and other Right Wing Christian
denominations in the US want. This is what they support
when they blindly serve the demigods of war.
Now what has happened recently is just the last chapter
in what is sure to be a continuing story… Our own S.R. Shearer

In the article Steve shows how Boykin’s Task Force 121
has its origins in the death squad activities of the Phoenix
Program, birthed by Boykin's mentor, the legendary "mastermind"
behind the use of the modern-day death squad, Major General
Joseph A. McChristian. I now have an extensive quote from
Steve’s article to read. It is as follows:
TURNING INTO A "CHRISTIAN" MONSTER
FOR "CHRIST AND THE CHURCH"
This, of course, is exactly the kind of thinking that
undergirds the death squad activity of Task Force 121 -
and in this connection you might be surprised to learn that
Task Force 121 is the brainchild of one of the Army's most
outspoken (and decorated) "Christian Warriors,"
LT. GEN. WILLIAM BOYKIN, the new Deputy Undersecretary
of Defense for Intelligence at the Pentagon, and that the
"MAN-HUNTERS OF TASK FORCE 121" are mostly
"born-again" Christians.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN CHRISTIANS INVOLVE THEMSELVES
WITH THE AMERICAN NEW WORLD ORDER SYSTEM. THEY INEVITABLE
TURN INTO MONSTERS - and that's what will
eventually happen to YOU if you don't get
out. Don't be so naive as to think that the danger to you
in staying in the United States is simply martyrdom. That's
not such a bad thing! No, the real danger is that you will
be corrupted like the "Manhunters of Task Force 121"
- or how else should one understand the warning,
"... come out of her, my people, THAT YE BE
NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS ..." (Rev. 18:4)
You didn't know that Task Force 121 is made up mostly
of "born-again" Christians?
Well, it's true. Indeed, Task Force 121's Christian
pedigree is pretty impressive, and can be easily traced
back through the years to its origins at the Wycliffe Bible
Translators jungle training camp in Limonocha, Ecuador in
the early 1960s - specifically, to Boykin's mentor, the
legendary "mastermind" behind the use of the modern-day
death squad, Major General Joseph A. McChristian. McChristian
justified his use of death squads by recourse to the concepts
of "Christian Dominionism," the belief that, according
to the late R.J. Rushdoony,
"In winning a nation to the gospel, the sword as
well as the pen must be used."
McCHRISTIAN
As special assistant to the Joint U.S. Military Advisory
Group in Greece from 1949 to 1950 (which coincided with
the end of the Greek Civil War), McChristian had seen that
Protestant Bibles were distributed to every Greek soldier
fighting the communists. McChristian understood the value
of religion in America’s war against communism. He believed
that if soldiers could be made to think that they were "fighting
for God," they would be that much more imbued with
a "fighting spirit," and that much more confident
in what they were doing when called upon to engage in the
dirtier, more sordid side of counterinsurgency activity
[what Brooks (see above) calls "MORALLY HAZARDOUS
ACTIVITY"]. After all, not everyone is a sadist
and a pathological killer; it’s difficult to kill, and if
the killers can be convinced that what they are doing is
"killing demons" in the name of God rather than
killing innocent human beings, it makes the job that much
easier. It eases the conscience when one is alone at night.
McChristian introduced this kind of thinking wherever
he went. He believed in it! He wasn’t just pretending for
the sake of convenience. To McChristian, spreading the Gospel
was synonymous with spreading the American "free enterprise"
system and expanding the financial interests of people like
the Rockefellers, the Milbanks, the Swifts and the Morgans.

SINGING HYMNS, SPEAKING IN
TONGUES AND BUTCHERING DEMONS
It’s no accident or flight of fancy, therefore, when
peasants in Central and South America - in describing the
activities of McChristian's death squads - inevitably tell
stories of death squad members praising God, singing hymns,
and "speaking in tongues" as they go about their
gruesome business of butchering people. This is what McChristian
and people like him believe! - and this is precisely what
makes it possible for death squad members to also be "members
in good standing" in countless numbers of Protestant
evangelical groups throughout Latin America. This is why
- in following Oliver North and members of his entourage
around the Contra-training camps in the 1980s - one reporter
could describe it as similar to having followed a "traveling

LIMONOCHA
McChristian conceived of Phoenix (which is the progenitor
of Boykin's Task Force 121) while serving - naturally enough
- at Cam Townsend's Wycliffe Bible Training Camp at Limonocha,
Ecuador in the early 1960s. When McChristian arrived at
Limonocha in April 1962, he arrived with the silver leaf
of an American Green Beret Lieutenant Colonel. Actually,
that was just a cover; he was in fact a major-general working
in army intelligence as chief of the Western Hemisphere
Division.
His counterpart in the CIA was Colonel J.C. King - another
CIA confident of Cam Townsend’s Wycliffe Bible Translators
who had gotten Townsend and Wycliffe heavily involved in
the overthrow of the Arbenz government in Guatemala, which
- like Goulert’s government in Brazil - had threatened to
nationalize various American business enterprises there
in the early 1950s, and which had cost the lives of thousands
and thousands of peasants, many of whom had been converted
to Protestant Christianity through the efforts of Wycliffe
translators. It seems, sadly, that in instance after
instance when "push came to shove" and the interests
of the Gospel clashed with the interests of Townsend’s business
backers, the business backers always won out. [Please

McChristian was only forty-seven years old when he made
Wycliffe’s Limonocha jungle training camp the unofficial
headquarters for his counterinsurgency activities in the
Amazon basin which had by then been set afire by the adherents
of "Liberation Theology" and Fidel Castro's Che
Guevera.
McChristian was imbued with the belief that in fighting
socialism in Latin America he was fighting for "Christ
and the church," and he was reinforced in that belief
by his many connections with conservative Christian churches
in the United States which he had developed through his
association with another military intelligence officer,
General A. Van Fleet, an evangelical Christian who - like
McChristian - genuinely thought of himself as a "Christian
Warrior" in the service of "God's Redeemer Nation"
(i.e., the United States). Van Fleet was McChristian's father-in-law.
Van
Fleet was then a top counterinsurgency consultant to the
Secretary of the Army on guerrilla warfare. He was also
an outspoken critic of President Kennedy’s handling of the
Bay of Pigs Invasion, and was closely connected to many
of the shadowy figures within the intelligence community
who were later implicated in the Kennedy and Martin Luther

Can’t you see how twisted all of this is? The idea that
God’s Kingdom can be brought to earth by such vile action
is as twisted as they come.
There is clear evidence connecting what is going on in
Iraq today directly to the Christian death squads originated
by McChristian… and carried on to this very day by Boykin’s
Task Force 121. As recently as 1994, Boykin was involved
in US Special Forces training of Latin American death squads,
when his command was involved in such training in Ecuador.
Evidence of this is available on the Democracy
Now website in their articled titled: Haiti's
Lawyer: US Is Arming Anti-Aristide Paramilitaries, Calls
For UN Peacekeepers. [The relevant quote from the article
reads in part:]
“Another figure to recently reemerge is Guy Philippe,
a former Haitian police chief who fled Haiti in October
2000 after authorities discovered him plotting a coup with
a group of other police chiefs. All of the men were trained
in Ecuador by US Special Forces during the 1991-1994 coup.”
This is the type of Christianity that America is exporting
throughout the world. The kind that tortures, runs death
squads, assassinates, overthrows governments, terrorizes,
and indiscriminately kills all deemed as foes… whether or
not they are women, children, or unluckily innocent bystanders.
The Christ being exported by the US… and its neo-SS
“Special Operations Units” is one who sanctions such bestial
activity… but I tell you clearly… this is not the real Jesus
Christ. It is a false Christ.
And make no mistake about it… this force is very much the
American Christian version of Hitler’s SS troops. Additionally…
make no mistake on the fact that this is the type of Christianity
that will eventually consumer everyone inside the United
States… just as surely as the horrors of Hitler’s National
Socialism eventually consumed everyone within the Third
Reich… including the German Church.
As we at Antipas Ministries have said a thousand times…
the pressure upon true believers, who decide to disobey
God and remain within Babylon the Great will force their
silence and complicity to the sins of the state and its
harlot church… just as assuredly as that same pressured
cowered the average German into silence.
Eventually though… the conscience fades… and with it even
silent protest… and what you have remaining is one who becomes
a partaker in her sins… and therefore destined to receive
of her plagues… as it is written in Revelation 18:4.
This danger… and this pressure… will surely be felt all
over the world… but nowhere greater than in the belly of
the beast. Nonetheless… true believers all over the world
must stand in testimony against this evil entity. They
must stand against the type of Christianity produced by
General Boykin’s Task Force 121. They must stand against
the leaders of the American Church… men like the above-mentioned
James Dobson and Pat Robertson, along with their cohorts…
including, Tim Lahaye, Franklin Graham, Joel Osteen, C.
Peter Wagner, John Hagee, etc.
The battle for the soul of the Church is one to be fought
all over the world… yet it is not to be fought by the methods
of Task Force 121… but by the power of our testimony and
the fulfillment of our calling Christ… to serve as His Witness.
As I said earlier though… within the US… the call is to
first flee… and it is the prayer of everyone here at Antipas
Ministries… that all within the US obey the Lord on this
count… and that all who love the Lord worldwide… serve as
a testimony to Him.
[The following is a summary and addendum of my closing
comments following Steve Shearer’s segment on the March
22, 2006 Audio Journal.]
Just recently a friend of mine sent me some further verses
pointing out the eternal consequences inherent with disobeying
God, insofar as fleeing Babylon the Great is concerned.
It should be common scriptural knowledge that when the Bible
speaks of virgins it is speaking about those who are pure
and undefiled before Him. Knowing the truth of God’s Word
we should clearly understand that the only way for someone
to appear pure and undefiled before the Lord is to be “in
Christ.” It is His blood, which cleanses us of our sins
and it is only through are salvation in Him that we are
deemed virgins in His eyes. Christ reinforces this premise
in His parable of the foolish and wise virgins in Matthew
25: 1-13. When the Bible is speaking of virgins in
this context… it is speaking about the Church… i.e. those
who are betrothed to The Bridegroom.
With this in mind let’s turn to the passage of scripture
my friend sent to me. The following is a reading from the
King James Version of Isaiah 47: 1-15:
1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter
of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O
daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called
tender and delicate.
2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks,
make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall
be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee
as a man.
4 As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name,
the Holy One of Israel.
5 Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter
of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The
lady of kingdoms.
6 I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance,
and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no
mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy
yoke.
7 And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever:
so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither
didst remember the latter end of it.
8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given
to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine
heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as
a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment
in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall
come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of
thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast
said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath
perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am,
and none else beside me.
11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not
know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon
thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation
shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude
of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth;
if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest
prevail.
13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels.
Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators,
stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come
upon thee.
14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall
burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power
of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor
fire to sit before it.
15 Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast
laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall
wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.
(Isaiah 47: 1-15)
What I see written here are words meant for the American
Church… i.e. the “virgin daughter of Babylon.” The message
contained therein is one that should be quite sobering for
those within the US, who claim to love the Lord. God is
telling them that He no longer will count them as being
among His. He is saying that He (Christ, The Bridegroom)
will not “meet thee as a man.” In other words… the sins
and abominations committed by the Church in Babylon are
so great that He no longer considers her as betrothed to
Him and therefore will not meet her as a man.
Following this the passage runs through a description of
the state of the virgin of Babylon… and what the repercussions
are to be. This part bears a striking parallel to that
given in Revelation 18: 4-8.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come
out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath
remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto
her double according to her works: in the cup which she
hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived
deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she
saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and
shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death,
and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned
with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
(Revelation 18: 4-8.)
The point to be made in all of this is that God is warning
His children of what is to come. He is providing them with
clear evidence of not just the identity of America and it’s
Church… but also of the judgment to which they are to fall
SHOULD THEY FAIL TO OBEY HIS COMMANDMENT TO COME
OUT OF HER.
More than anything else it is our prayer that all within
the US who love the Lord… would take Him seriously on this
matter… and obey His Word. It is also our prayer that all
throughout the world stand as a testimony for Him and against
the Christianity practiced and portrayed by the American

As the season will soon change from winter to spring,
so to does it appear that world affairs are again starting
the process of heating up. The US has recently launched
some of the largest
air strikes ever over in Iraq. The rhetoric between
Iran and the US continues
to heat up… and the Iranians are still working
toward opening a new “oil bourse” or oil trading market…
in which Iranian oil
can be bought with Euros instead of dollars... though
major, US-led efforts are underway throughout the world
to
stall this opening from occurring before the US
can deal with Iran militarily.
Meanwhile GW Bush has been able to push Patriot
Act renewal legislation through and weather the
criticisms of how totalitarian the whole package is.
The US Church of course is heating up as well. They are
heating up in their lust for the spoils of being the religion
of the “imperial
state” that the US Elites are striving to create.
All in all things are really starting to pick up steam…
and I truly hope that everyone out there is keeping their
eyes on the ball. Thankfully we were able to get our
audio broadcasts tentatively established before the coming
storm and will now be able to use this new tool of ours
to bring the message to all of you much more rapidly,
when the need for such occasion arises.
I also want to let everyone who reads and supports Antipas
Ministries know how thankful we are for this. Often times
it is tough sledding for us, but you always come through
for us when we need it most. I praise the Lord for this
and also pray He will continue to keep His hand on this
ministry… and the volatile message we preach.
In the most recent Antipas Audio Journal, accessible
on the top right of our homepage at Antipas Ministries,
I shared a few thoughts that I would like to once again
go over. Firstly, It is exciting to see the website growing
as it is. The site-ranking index on the Alexa
Search Engine shows that the past three months
have seen the reach of our message greatly expand.
According to Alexa, “Reach measures the number of
users. Reach is typically expressed as the
percentage of all Internet users who visit a given site.”
The way Alexa calculates the reach of a website is
to record the total number of individual user visits to
the site. They then provide that number to the public
in percentage form on a per million users basis. Lastly,
and based upon past recordings they show the growth rating
of each site in percentage form.
The Antipas Ministries website has a reach of .35% per
million Internet users. What this means is that 3500
out of every one million Internet users visit the Antipas
Ministries website. This .35% is up 75%
over the past three months. Additionally, ISRP.org has
a reach percentage of .20% (2000 visits per million users)
and this is up a remarkable 300% over
the past three months.
Needless to say we are very excited about this. We knew
from bandwidth usage and our subscription rate that more
people were “tuning in” to the message, but it is still
encouraging to see further evidence of such. I say this
not because we are trying to win some sort of popularity
contest… or massage our egos… or anything like that.
The reason we are excited is because we are truly and
completely convicted that the message we preach is that
which the Lord desires of us. As such we are encouraged
IN HIM… that He has enabled us to reach a larger number
of people with this message as the time has passed.
On the negative side of our numbers… our page views ranking
is down. I attribute that to the fact that one web page
on the Antipas Ministries website is like 25, 35, or even
as much as 80 pages of printed material. Therefore folks
aren’t going to be hopping around viewing scores of pages
when they visit the website. Indeed… sometimes it can
take a person several days to go through one of Steve’s
articles, which encompasses only one webpage and because
of this I think our “page view ranking” will never set
the world on fire.
Enough of all that stuff though… There are more things
remarked upon in the last Audio
Journal that I want to expound upon today.
The Bible is by and large a very straightforward book.
Regardless of what those within the religious institution
would have folks believe, the Bible is not that hard to
understand. The message of scripture is one of harmony.
It is a message without contradiction. It is also ultimately
a message of peace, love, and hope. The fulfillment of
every aspect of the Bible’s message is found in the one
and only begotten Son of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.
The Words of His testimony and the record of His life
on earth, as recorded in the Bible are the ultimate authority…
in fact the total consummation… of everything related
to knowledge, understanding, and faith in God. The model
by which we are to live our lives is that set forth by
Christ. It is His Words and His example that are to be
our compass.
Every action of a believer’s life should be held up to
the life of Christ and His commandments. In short… His
life and testimony are our benchmark, our guidepost, and
our inspiration. That for which we strive should be that,
which is pleasing to Him… and in accordance to His Word.
In saying that though… let us be clear… Even in Christ,
as human beings we are destined to fail… to come up short…
far more often than we succeed. As Jesus said, “the
spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.”(Matthew
26: 41) Thankfully though… the glorious truth
is that even in our failures, His grace is sufficient.
All that is required is to confess our failings and sins
to Him… and go forward in His footsteps.
The point I am leading up to with this is that those
who truly love the Lord should nonetheless be those striving
to go forward in His footsteps. Even accounting for the
weakness of our flesh and the fact that we will always
stumble… our failures should occur during our efforts
to serve Him. Our stumbling should take place during
a life in which we strive for Him… and as such will have
His commandments revealed in the actions of our own lives.
When I speak of His commandments… I am speaking specifically
of those given by Christ in the New Testament. For you
see… He (Jesus) IS THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW… including
the commandments given to Moses. Christ and His words
are the authority and point of understanding around which
all other scripture relates. All scripture… whether Old
or New Testament is of equal value and equal weight of
course (2 Timothy 3: 16), but even in this
context the commandments of Christ [who is THE WORD] are
those around which all other scripture must be understood.
In this… the proper context… the commandments I am speaking
of include the following:
“But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:
but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue
thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have
thy cloke also. And whosoever shall compel thee to
go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that
asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn
not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that
curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for
them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
(Matthew 5: 39-44)
What is remarkable… what is truly astounding… is that
everything I have just went through… is the complete opposite
of what the American Church is up to. Today the US Church
embraces a worldly lust that it has deceptively labeled
as faith. It is truly all about getting the most out
of the here and now… as opposed to serving Christ and
the Kingdom to come. It has embraced a doctrine of revenge
upon its enemies and has dressed its violence up as service
to the Lord.
In essence… The American Church has taken the clear and
obvious message of the Bible and turned it upon its ear.
They have denied grace, forgiveness, long-suffering, and
humility. They have taken the commandments of Christ
and rendered them of no effect… insofar as their religion
is concerned… and not content to be alone in their blasphemy…
they are exporting their twisted version of Christianity
to all corners of the world.
A recent article by Charles Sullivan on the Information
Clearinghouse website reveals these things… and much more.
The name of the article is Parasites
of God and Sullivan, who is not even a believer
seems to have no trouble seeing and understanding what
that which calls itself the Church is actually all about.
Sullivan has no trouble seeing things for what they are
and neither should anyone else… especially those in Christ,
who supposedly are following the leading of His Holy Spirit
to be shown “all things.” Yet this is certainly not the
case. By and large the Church is blinded and complicit
in the sinful direction in which Christianity, American-style
is headed. Sullivan sheds light on the “sea of imposters,”
when he writes:
“Being Christian amid a sea of impostors cannot
be easy. It is dangerous work. As in the case of Christ
himself, it may lead to crucifixion. Real Christians…
…will always find themselves in formal opposition to U.S.
policies of global domination and empire. But the
apostles of wealth and empire, those who merely claim
to be Christian, will sanction these same polices and
proclaim they are the work of God. They are not.”
Why is it that so many who claim to be servants of Christ
cannot see this same truth? How is it that those who
more than all others should be standard-bearers of peace,
love, and truth are those who are instead the standard-bearers
for global domination and empire?
Quoting the recently martyred Tom Fox, of the Christian
Peacemakers Team, [of which our friend Rey
Lopez is also a member] Sullivan wrote:
“In a piece called “Fight
or Flight?” written on November 30, 2005, Tom
Fox made an important distinction between real Christians
and the much more common impostors who misuse religion
to serve empire and material conquest. He wrote, ‘The
French theologian Rene Girard has a very powerful vision
of Satan that speaks to me: Satan sustains himself as
a parasite on what God creates by imitating God in a manner
that is jealous, grotesque, perverse and as contrary as
possible to the loving and obedient imitation of Jesus.’”
What truly insightful words those are. The vision Girard
shares is harrowing… but oh, so true. Satan does sustain
himself as a “parasite on what God creates.” Additionally,
he certainly does this by imitating God in what Girard
describes as being a “grotesque, jealous, perverse manner.”
This manifestation is also very much the “total opposite”
of the “loving and obedient imitation of Christ”
that every true believer should strive for.
Let’s be clear at this point on something else as well…
the servants of Satan… at least the truly effective ones…
are those who choose this same tact. Those who control
the American Church, men like Pat Robertson, Tim Lahaye,
John Hagee, James Dobson, Jerry Falwell, C. Peter Wagner
… as well as wealthy and powerful “Christian leaders”
like George W. Bush, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, John Ashcroft,
Tom Delay, General McKinley Boykin, Kenneth Lay, Bernie
Ebbers, and more… have chosen this same deceptive path.
They call themselves believers. They justify their actions
by drawing sanction from the name of the Lord. They sit
in self-righteous judgment over the masses. Yet what
they are actually doing is SATANICALLY OPERATING AS PARASITES
ON GOD’S CREATION WITH THEIR GROTESQUE, PERVERSE, ABOMINABLE
FORM OF CHRISTIANITY.
In the Sullivan article, He too made this distinction
when he wrote:
“The astute observations of Rene Girard that so impressed
Tom Fox defines exactly what George Bush, Pat Robertson,
and Jerry Falwell are. They are parasites of God masquerading
as men of God for evil purposes. They imitate God in order
to fool their sheepish cohorts into following what are
in essence satanic policies. Their motives are betrayed
by their hateful rhetoric, by acts of unprovoked violence
against innocent civilians and the systematic killing
of hope. Their allegiance is to Satan, not to God, as
they profess.
Have we become so indoctrinated by the
language of empire that we can no longer see the disconnect
between these acts of terror and the non-violent teachings
of Christ? Why are so many who call themselves Christians
worshiping the parasites of god and empire, while shunning
and betraying the genuine article?
George Bush, Pat Robertson, Falwell and the rest,
have not so cleverly donned the garments of Christianity
in order to deliberately mislead their helpless flocks,
to press them into the service of Satan, while convincing
them they are doing the will of God.”
What is truly significant here… as I made note of earlier…
is that it is not just the leadership who have chosen
this route… but the overwhelming majority of the flock
as well. The Church within the US has allowed itself
to be brainwashed into believing and serving in this grotesque,
parasitical form of Christianity. This unholy religion
is the bedrock upon which the American
New World Order System is established. It is
the ideological under-pinning that keeps “the people”
on board insofar as serving the interests of Babylon
the Great are concerned.
It is within this twisted, religious mindset that the
American people feel justified to follow their leaders
in support of the coming war
with Iran. The false Christ they worship gives
sanction to the type of preemptive carnage the US and
Israel plan to unleash upon Iran. The Darwinian religion
they practice has no problem dividing the world into what
are for all practical purposes, sub-species of humans,
which can be righteously tortured, murdered, bombed, shot,
starved, and irradiated without eternal consequence.
In this frame of mind they have taken on the same grotesque
faith practiced by those involved in US run death squads
in South and Central America.
This is the kind of faith in which it is justifiable
to torture, maim, and kill… when done in “service to Christ.”
In the article, The
Death Squads: Bringing in the Kingdom of God Through Terror,
Torture, and Death, S.R. Shearer proves this quite
clearly when he shares the following:
"’Killing for the joy of it is wrong, but
killing because it is necessary to fight against an anti-Christ
system ... is not only right, but the duty of every Christian.’
[quoted in Cubie Ward's Paralife Ministries' newsletter,
Living Word.; Paralife Ministries is associated with Larry
Lea in its work in Central America, specifically, in El
Salvador. Both Ward and Lea say they have dedicated the
work of their ministry to "God's redemptive purpose
in Central America.]"
And…
" Take the example of an evangelical pastor,
Clemente Diaz Aguilar, who was detained by government
forces in Guatemala and tortured by mistake: ‘My captors
stole everything from me ... Those who captured me ...
divided up my money, and later they led me into the hands
of the torturers. In the long hours of torture, they asked
me constantly about other pastors ... of some churches
in the capital; they asked me also about my views on liberation
theology ... The torturers, tired of doing so much damage
to me, rested for a while; then I recognized some of them:
two are members of a singing duo from these churches (i.e.,
Verbo and Mision Elim); I begged (them) to recognize me
because I recognized them; then they asked me questions
about my capture, my complete name, my address, my church
and my activities. When they realized I was not the person
they were looking for, they begged my forgiveness, saying,
'Brother, we are also Christians'."
And…
"Then there's the story of Dr. Myrna Cunningham
in the Miskitu Indian border area between Honduras and
Nicaragua. In December 1981, she was captured by Contra
forces - elements of the same Contra forces supported
by Pat Robertson, Tim LaHaye and Larry Lea - and was beaten
and repeatedly raped. Dr. Cunning-ham described the
bizarre rape scene during which the Miskitus were singing
hymns and praying. The Contras who had been involved in
the rape later reported that they had been told by their
pastors that killing and even torture (when necessary
to obtain vital information) were permissible in a 'just
war' against an anti-Christ system - and, if in the heat
of the moment excesses like rape should occur, well, that
certainly wasn't good, but that if they later confessed
their sins, God would forgive and understand; after all,
the purpose for which they were fighting was just."
This is the direction in which the American Church is
headed as well. Already the Christian leadership of the
US is torturing its enemies… Already the Church stands
supportive of these measures… as well as all the bombing,
shootings, and other sorts of death and misery brought
to bear upon the enemies of America… “God’s redeemer nation”.
I guess it’s like what the Miskitus pastors told their
soldiers… “after all the purpose for which they (are)
fighting (is) just.”
Let me be quite clear though… there is nothing just about any of this. This type
of Christianity is anathema to God. He hates this perversion
of His name and that of His Son’s. He despises the practitioners
of such and has promised to execute HIS JUDGMENT UPON
ALL WHO PRACTICE, ASSOCIATE WITH, OR ARE IN ANY WAY COMPLICIT
to this damnable, parasitic, satanically inspired imitation
of the true faith.
As I made note of earlier… the US Church is not content
to wallow in its own mire by itself either. This isn’t
like Aryanism… in which only those of Germanic descent
could hope to be fully blessed when the Reich was ultimately
established… No indeed… the US Church and its perverse
religion have an open-door policy. Anyone willing to
sell their soul is welcome to join the ranks of the deceived.
Anyone willing to mute their conscience and quench the
loving flame of Christ within them is eligible to take
part in the construction of the final empire.
On this premise American Christianity is being exported
to all corners of the globe. Its power and reach is growing
exponentially… and in each and every case the results
are disastrous for the souls of those ensnared. Just
look at what has happened with British Prime Minister,
Tony Blair. As bad as it already is that he is complicit
in the carnage taking place in the Middle East [Iraq specifically]…
Blair has now taken things one step further and made the
claim that God led Him to make the decisions he has.
An article I recently came across comments upon Blair’s sharing
of how his own faith in Jesus and belief that he was following
God’s orders are what led him to involve the UK in the
slaughter taking place in Iraq. Just like George W. Bush,
Blair is saying God led him to undertake an effort, which
has to date seen thousand and thousands killed, wounded,
maimed, tortured, and visited with extreme misery of the
worst sort.
So let me get this straight… God led him to do this?
Blair… like his boss GW Bush… was merely obeying God.
Therefore he cannot be held accountable for the lies and
manipulations used to start the war; all that has gone
wrong during its execution; or the death, destruction,
and misery visited upon millions throughout it all.
“Don’t hold him accountable” seems to be the message
to detractors of the war… but more importantly… and just
as is the case with George Bush… the message is that God
has sanctioned our violence. It is His will not only
that we have done what we have done… BUT THAT WE DO
WHAT STILL MUST BE DONE.
Into that one should read the continuance of war in Iraq,
the coming war with Iran, as well as possible strikes
against Venezuela,
Syria, Libya, North Korea, and God only knows where else.
This is what Bush and Blair mean when they say such things.
They are implying God has told them to choose their present
course of action. As such they are beyond reproach insofar
as they are merely acting upon His will. The truth though…
as noted by Charles Sullivan in his above linked article…
is that:
“Real Christians… …will always find themselves in
formal opposition to U.S. policies of global domination
and empire. But the apostles of wealth and empire,
those who merely claim to be Christian, will sanction
these same polices and proclaim they are the work of God.
They are not.”
Additionally, I encourage everyone to read about the
efforts of our own Eugene Bonsu. In his most recent international
update from Ghana,
Eugene once again shares how the malignancy of Western,
i.e. American-style Christianity, has saturated his country.
He relates how the battle for the true faith taking place
in Ghana is one in which the primary adversary is indeed
Christianity, American-style.
If this is the case in far away Ghana… which is of little
to no strategic importance to the US… and if this is the
case in Great Britain… where it is of no political advantage
to proclaim one’s self a Christian, doing God’s work…
then how much more malignant is the situation in America
itself? How saturated has the lump within the
US become?
The truth is that there is going to be a point in the
future where the leaven of the grotesque, parasitical,
satanically inspired imitation of Christianity, which
is consuming the US will eventually consume all who remain
within the country. It is because of this that God is
earnestly calling for His children… for true believers…
TO COME OUT OF HER [The US] (Revelation 18:
4). This is no mere suggestion… but a commandment
of Christ.
The reality is that no one knows exactly when they will
become so blinded… so consumed by the leaven… that they
begin to totally believe THE LIE. This is true in the
same way that a heroin addict probably can’t tell you
exactly which injection is the one that turned him into
a junkie. One day you wake up… and without even realizing
it… your desire… your urgency… your yearning… is to serve
the addiction. No longer does one serve his or her best
interests in such a state and most assuredly not the interests
of Christ. They are instead prisoners and servants of
something else entirely.
As I said though… the junkie usually cannot pinpoint
exactly when this happens… it just does. So too with
the reality of God’s warning in Revelation
18:4. It is not as if one can know for
sure that they can stay within Babylon until the next
to last day with their soul intact and then take the last
lifeboat off the sinking ship. You see… the pathology
with the heroin addict is that if you use the drug enough
times… YOU WILL BECOME ADDICTED.
The pathology regarding Revelation 18:4
is as follows: If you do not “come out of her”
[Babylon the Great, i.e. the US] you will become
a “partaker in her sins” and will also as such,
“receive of her plagues (judgments)”.
Consider this is as well… though there is a slight probability
that a heroin user will never become addicted… God leaves
no such “out” for those who refuse to obey His Word on
this point. The pathology involved in failing to come
out of her, partaking in her sins, and receiving of her
plagues is absolute. NONE WILL BE SPARED… BECAUSE
ALL ARE TO BE DEEMED GUILTY.
It is not as if you will realize you have become blinded.
It is not as if you will recognize that the reflection
in the mirror is not the same one of former times. You
will eventually become a partaker in her sins. You will
then be counted among those who receive of her plagues.
The Solution of course… is to act upon God’s Word at
the moment you hear, understand, and believe it. Anything
else is disingenuous at best… and outright mockery at
worst. And believe me when I tell you… God is not one
to be mocked. As such... do not allow this pathology
to take hold of you.
And if you are already out of the US… or have never been
in… then stand strong in the Lord with His testimony.
The call to testify as His
Witness is that to which the Church at the end
of the age is destined. It is surely no “easy road”…
but the reward is our place with Christ in His Kingdom
to come!

Boy oh boy… it sure does seem like a lot has happened
since the last ISRP Journal. For starters… we have really
concentrated on our broadcasts of the Antipas Audio Journal…
and this, more than anything else, has kept me from updating
things here on ISRP.
Enough of that though… I am back… and firing with both
barrels. First thing I want to express is our appreciation
for all the positive feedback relating to the Antipas
Audio Journal. I also encourage everyone to let us know
what you think… what you’d like to hear on the programs,
etc. etc. The next audio journal should be released tomorrow
and many of the things I discuss tomorrow will be those
written of today. So by all means pay attention to what
is written today… and check out the links within this
journal. It will help you follow along tomorrow.
Recently we’ve spent a lot of time discussing America
as Babylon the Great… and the role she plays in this present
world… as well as the world to come. Also of great significance
insofar as these matters are concerned… is that of the
role to be played by the American Church.
As we have documented scores of times… the American Church,
which is as the forefront of what is known as Dominionism
is an institution devoid of love, absent of truth, teaming
with hypocrisy, and hell-bent on pushing the United States
into establishing “Christian Dominion” over the whole
earth. In his article entitled, Dominionism
and Its Human Empire, Johan Malan noted many frightening
aspects of the American Church’s push toward dominion…
not just in the spiritual realm… but in the geopolitical
as well.
Malan also provides a very succinct outline of the Dominionism’s
ultimate objectives. He depicts a church, which is totally
wedded to the apparatus of state power… under the auspice
of gaining control of it. He reveals a church that believes
it to be their duty to engage in warfare against Satan
and his forces. He also reveals a church willing to abridge
or throw out “divisive” doctrinal matters on repentance,
salvation, and the Gospel… all for the sake of bringing
ever larger numbers of people under the covering of what
is to eventually be a “one world church” indissolubly
wedded to the elite power structure of the American New
World Order System.
What needs to be understood though… insofar as all this
is concerned… is that America’s fallen church… and the
false form of Christianity, which it practices… are JUST
AS, IF NOT MORE RESPONSIBLE, than the American Elites
for all the sorrow and destruction sown by the hand of
the American New World Order System. It is they who have
made the mantra of wealthy the slogans of the Christian
masses. It is they who have denied ALL THE COMMANDMENTS
OF CHRIST () in order to serve the interest of money and
power in this present world.
Karen Horst Cobb reveals this fact quite clearly in her
recent article, America’s
Moral Decline and the Rise of False Christianity.
In that article she states:
"It seems today there is a need for a tougher,
meaner Jesus, a government issue Jesus (GI-Joe) who comes
complete with state of the art Kevlar tunic, two edged
sword, and secret code book (the book of Revelation).
Evangelical Christians are organizing and conspiring to
manipulate governments to use weapons if necessary to
kill some of God’s children so that prime real estate
goes to people whom they believe God likes best.
This immoral clarity was reported recently in the
Jerusalem Post. Rev
John Hagee is the organizer and leader of the
Armageddon war cry and has now created the powerful political lobby, Christians United for Israel (CUFI). Christians untied for Israel
(CUFI) includes Jerry Falwell, Benny Hinn, Jack Hayford,
George Morrison, Rod Parsley and Steven Strang and many
other media evangelicals. According to Hagee, “ The goal
is to be strategically placed to successfully lobby Washington
on behalf of Israel… Every state in the Union, every congressional

we know, congress alone has the power to declare war.
Will it be Christians who pressure elected officials into
war? Will it be people who declare themselves to be Christ-like,
who use his name to sound the collective war cry which
unleashes the deadliest weapons on earth? George W. Bush
said recently that “all options are on the table” when
it comes to Iran."
Horst paints a chilling, yet accurate picture of just
what the American church… in all of its Dominionist fervor…
is truly all about. Christianity, American-style is all
about wealth, power, and force. To put it in the vernacular…
it is all about judging your neighbor, stealing all he’s
got of value, and then killing him before he can do anything
about it. This is what Christianity… as it is partnered
with the American New World Order System… is all about.
As Horst points out… it may well be Christian voices that
pressure elected officials into war with Iran, Syria,
Venezuela, and God knows where else. It may well be these
same Christians who push for detainments, internments,
and the further restriction of civil liberties at home.
In a world turned upside down, those whose voices should
in humility be declaring compassion, forgiveness, and
equality are instead those that in self-righteous hatred
shout for bloodshed, revenge, and further inequality.
In this world there are no rules of engagement. Might
makes right… truth is defined by those in power… and dissension
is a crime of the worst sort.
Think about it now… these are the guys who are GW Bush’s
foot soldiers. They are his “34%” so to speak. They
are the ones who are going to stand by the move toward
war with Iran… no matter the terrible consequences. In
fact they will be the ones who encourage both Israel
and the US to go forward with the attack. They will be
the ones to swallow whatever lies can be conjured up to
justify such an atrocity… and they will be the ones who
work to ostracize, marginalize, and demonize any Christian
voice in opposition to such a ghastly
undertaking.
And make no mistake… what we are discussing here is truly
a “ghastly undertaking”. At a minimum we are looking
at thousands dead in any bombing raids conducted by the
US or Israel. In a worse case scenario… if nuclear weapons
are used… we could be looking at tens of thousands dead
and the whole region exploding into a cauldron of hostility
leading to WW3.
What is truly ridiculous though… is that rank and file
church goers in the US will by and large wave their flags,
watch O’Reilly and continue to sing God Bless America…
while the “blowback” from such a venture hits them squarely
where it counts. For you see… the American Elites and
the wealthy leadership of the American Church will feel
no pain from all that is to come. They will be enriched
and empowered all the more. Rather it will be the average
pew-sitter (as well as the average American) who will
reap the consequences [though these consequences are
not nearly so bad as those who are to be murdered once
American bombs start falling]. It is these poor, deluded
souls who will suffer the consequences of oil prices rising
to $130 per barrel or more. It is these blinded naïfs…
as S.R. Shearer would say… who will see their sons and
daughters drafted… their civil liberties infringed upon
all the more… and will have their hearts further heartened
toward their complicity in all the carnage.
Ridiculous but sad this all surely is… but this is how
this game always plays out. The wealthy… and the church
leadership who serve them always reap the spoils… while
the peasantry always reaps the chaff. Just look at America’s
recent history insofar as illegal
immigrant labor is concerned for an example.
In fact… just look at America’s overall labor history
of indentured servitude, slavery, and immigrant exploitation.
But to get back to the subject of illegal immigrant labor…
who do you think pays the price? Do the Elites pay the
price? Do the CEO’s of Cargill, Monsanto, Wal-Mart, Exxon,
Tyson Foods, or 3M pay the price for all the illegals
working in the US? Of course not… THEY PROFIT FROM THIS
SITUATION. Wages stay depressed by the constant influx
of cheap labor into the market… therefore they all profit
greatly from this situation.
Conversely… it is the poor, the working poor, and the
middle class who are ravaged by this present situation.
Their wages are pushed down and an overcrowded labor market
negates their rights and opportunities for leverage.
Ironically though… or should I once again say ridiculously…
many of those taking the gas here are on the side of the
Elites through their blind, delusional devotion to the
American church. If they would just look down they would
see the hand, which is cutting their throat, is their
own.
Yet as I mentioned above… the price to be paid economically
or even insofar as the military draft or abridgement of
civil liberties is concerned… pales in comparison the
eternal price to be paid by having one’s heart hardened
against the TRUTH IN CHRIST. And this is exactly what
is taking place insofar as the American Church is concerned.
They have rejected His words. They have turned away from
His commandments. They have in effect become the enemy
of the cross… and like Esau have sold their birth right,
i.e. all the riches of heaven for a “bowl of beans”. (Genesis
25: 29-34)
