ISRP JOURNAL
By Sean Mayfield
March 14, 2003
I know I've been away for a while, but its been a really
busy week. I am leaving early Friday morning for Knoxville,
TN. I'll be there to meet up with Steve, Doug, and Jack
at the Latimer's house. They are like family to me, so I
really look forward to spending time with them... However,
I am going to leave you with a letter from a dear friend
and brother from India, along with links to two articles
backing up his point:
Dear Bro.Sean,
Today, I am just back from a Prayer Meeting in our Church
were we prayed specially for the people in Iraq and to the
suffering they might be exposed to. Our church is an independent
Baptist Church and so far it has resisted the tide of ecumenism.
Our Pastor and some elders have already been labeled as
narrow minded for their stand in this matter. Today, in
my conversation with our Pastor and an elder, I was pleased
to find that the Lord had given them wisdom to understand
what was going on. For instance our Pastor told me that
he had spoken to a number of Americans and he was appalled
that number of them were pro-war and were using the Bible
to justify it. He further told me he had already noticed
that it was a war of religions as! to which religion was
superior. He told me that Jesus does not need us to prove
that our religion is superior. Then this other elder I was
speaking to told me that most American preachers were twisting
scriptures to suit their purposes and he even went on to
say that they dont realize they themselves may be
Anti-Christ nation. I think what our Lord has revealed to
these people echoes what Bro.Dene wrote in Letters from
Babylon. It is true then, many Christians outside of America
dont buy the American view of things.
I thank you for you mail. Yes, I understand what this means
for the poor and middle class in your country. The same
will also happen for us including the fact that we will
be reduced to a state of servitude thanks to the super class
in our country who are pushing their own agenda (religious
fundamentalism, earning profits and ruling power) and selling
themselves and us out to globalization etc.
I have a deep regard for Uncle Steve Shearer and his exposition
of these verses of Rev 6.6 (A quart of wheat for a denarius,
and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not harm
oil and wine!"). Truly he is no less than a prophet
to have forseen how these things were going to come about,
and you people have done a phenomenal work to spread the
message, I am glad to be a part of the process, but as he
had also quite foreseen a prophet is not welcome and hence
neither are what they have to say well received. Sadly,
this is the case here just as it is in your country.
Here are some facts to give you an idea as to how we are
also quite burdened. This year form January 1st we had water
tax imposed on us here in Calcutta. Our Electricity was
privatized long back and ever since there have been unexplained
and unprecedented hikes in way of surcharges. Now, from
it has been officially announced that Bills will double
from April. The explanation given this time by the electric
company -CESC which is the body controlling our electricity
was quite ridiculous the companies were paying surcharge
and bearing the burden and now they have made it equal for
all and instead they will paying back some of the companies
the extra money they had taken from them.
Sensing this crisis many of us had looked into the possibility
of switching to solar energy which is touted as an alternative
energy, but when some of my friends and I decided to seriously
explore this option we found that for city areas the cost
of implementation was very very high. Ten times as much
as the cost of implementation in rural areas. I was wondering
what was the cause for this discrepancy. In rural areas
where there is hardly electricity in some areas our government
has implemented Solar projects for running pumps for irrigation
and drinking. This has been done by World Bank sponsorship.
But, our government is not really that keen or benevolent
in doing these things. Rather, it serves as a way to draw
in more money in the name of implementing these things.
Very recently I saw a business report in the newspaper which
gave me the needed insight as to why there was this discrepancy.
It talked about the fact that people sooner or later would
want ! to switch to this alternative energy when electricity
bills shoot through the sky, so when people opt for this
solar energy implementation things must be readied to make
profits on the way. Now they have cleared a number international
companies to sell solar energy products in our cities but
the prices are quite high and one would have to invest a
good deal of money to make the switch to this energy. So,
right now we have opted for power saving neon bulbs which
offer good light although not as good as tube lights to
save on the electricity bills. But, even these bulbs are
quite expensive to buy specially if they happen to be of
Philips make or some other international brand. I am sure
once more people start to buy the prices of these bulbs
will also increase.
A French company actually a sister concern of the one
in South Africa will put up the water meters to collect
tax. Today I saw the second part of this BBC Earth Report
program on Water which reported in the article Inside
the American New World Order System your site had
mentioned some time back what the US company Bechtel
had done by taking over the water system in Cochabomba,
Bolivia and also what was happening to many people in your
country in Detroit. The other day I was watching this Part
1 of Earth Report on the BBC which showed the impact of
globalization in South Africa. It showed a pitiable condition
of the people in the city of Durban. Poor people who could
not pay their water bills had their lines cut after two
or three months. S! o the people who could not do without
water resorted to tapping the water lines to get water.
As a result of that the police force cracked down on them
with heavy armaments and the poor people were left wondering
why they were being treated as criminals.
The program interviewed a mother from one such lower middle
class family and she was in tears. I presume she was a Christian
and she raised the question as to what she had done wrong
to deserve that. She told that she had no means to buy water
and perhaps the only resort would ultimately to sell herself.
The program also showed how some people were forced then
to filter the drainage water to cover for their needs. This
was really appalling and nearly brought tears to my eyes.
Another interesting thing that I noticed in this program
was that in some places their were water vending devices
were people had to insert some kind of pre-paid floppy disk
type card to get a bucket of water. This was indeed alarming.
Recently, our government has been trumpeting this project
of linking all the countries rivers. I feel this is part
of a Water Management Project. I had read somewhere that
this One World Government was going to use some kind of
Water Management Program to control a country. I think these
issues of water taxes and water management come as a part
of that. So what has happened in South Africa might catch
up with us as well.
In such a situation I would not like to be alive anyway,
or have to be forced to take a mark on the hand or the forehead.
I feel that the Lord may be preparing me just as He is probably
preparing you people at Antipas where we have to take a
stand against these Anti-Christ forces, where we have to
lay down our lives. I dont thing Christians have contemplated
this very much for some time now. But, please pray for me
that when this is required of me the Lord will help me lay
down my life. I really desire this, it will be an honour
to lose my life for my Saviour.
Other things that are on the cards due to our country
agreeing to Free Trade, Globalization and Signing Up for
WTO is that it is going to open up for giant MNC Agro-Industries
to buy up land in our country and produce food. This is
going to happen as our government is doing away with subsidies
on fertilizers etc. and causing many farmers to go on debt
because they do not get enough for their produce. Some farmers
have already committed suicide due to this. This is similar
to what is happening to the coffee growers in South America.
I think I have already shared with you the fact that inspite
of the fact that our country is producing surplus grains
they are either rotting in the granaries or being dumped
in the ocean thanks to the what the WTO stipulates that
if grains cannot be sold for a profit they are not to be
given away free or at a subsidy. There have also been issue!
s over using genetically modified grains which have the
genes of animals. This will go with the Eugenics program
I guess.
This is happening and I have collected plenty of news
data on this. I would recommend you to watch these movies
Omen 1 and Omen 2, especially Omen 2, this movie makes no
secret of how the anti-chirsts henchmen will take
control over the world by using MNCs with huge corporate
greed to take control throughout the world. Although I dont
endorse this movie, this movie which is essentially worldly,
depicts exactly what Satan has in mind to build the empire
before presenting the throne to his son the Anti-Christ.
In fact as I now look back I think this movie is kind of
bragging as to how he would bring about the kingdom of his
son into this world. Let me know your views if you see the
movie.
According to the material in your site which had foreseen
how Blue & White collar jobs would be axed and reallocated
to third world countries. This is true to the letter. Recently
BBC was showing how many Call Center companies are reallocated
to our country from the US and Britain. Very recently a
number of companies made this move. Here the Call Centers
encourage and train their employees to pick up American
accent by watching morally bankrupt programs like Friends
etc and then on top of that they are taught to lie to American
public as to where there true location is if they are ever
questioned by their American clients. The conditions under
which these people are working is now pathetic. Initially
they created job market ! under Medical Transcription and
Call Centers where they were paid between Rs.7000 to Rs.20000.
This was very lucrative initially to people and it got the
buzz. Now the people are being swindled, the pay has come
down drastically to Rs.4000-Rs.7000.
The same happened with IT industry. Many Indians who had
moved to the US under H1B visas to work as software professionals
had been offered jobs at the expense of their American counterparts
who were paid around $5000 and they were being offered employment
for only $2000. This was huge money in Indian currency nearly
as much as Rs.60,000 according to exchange rates three years
back. The Indians who jumped on that bandwagon were in it
for greed and did not stop to consider that they were taking
up a job where others (American counterparts were paid higher
salary). Furthermore their false pride also made them think
that they were better than the Americans, and if they were
(in some cases) they did not stop to think why they were
not paid more than the Americans.
Three years back when I was reading the articles at your
site on Globalization and Economic meltdown and some of
these facts which Uncle Shearer had already foreseen the
Lord had really made me stop to think about these issues.
Now shamefully, many Indians have been shown the door from
the US after the meltdown started.
But, people were not to be cowed down. The software development
was reallocated to our country by a term called outsourcing.
So people here were developing codes for as much as $10-11
an hour. Now, Chinese programmers has taken the wind out
of the Indians by developing code for as low as $2-3.
I got into IT industry for my love of computers, and any
job that I would get out it was welcome for me, and I was
not interested in money. But, while doing my course from
the Institute I was enrolled under it switched our course
from traditional Software course modules like VB, Java,
C++, VC++ programming to E-Commerce. This was disgusting
for me personally because I dont like E-commerce one
bit. However in the course of my study I discovered that
more emphasis was given for embedded technologies and implementation
of databases for E-commerce purposes. It was then that I
found direct co-relation with what many people have been
saying in their interpretation of prophecy pertaining to
Rev. 13:16-18. I now realize that we are the ones who are
implementing the Control Process over the Buying & Selling
Process. I hope to give you more input on this later on.
With love & prayers,

REFORMS
Globalization
in India Impacts of the World Bank and multinational
corporations
I have taken the time to focus on India, because like all
of the world, it has fallen prey to the American empire.
Not all fall by the sword, some are bled slowly by the Corporate
Elites. I'll get back to all of you next week when I return
from Knoxville...

To start with, I'd like to inform everyone that we never
made it to Oregon this weekend. Dene's RV began overheating
in the foothills of the Sierra's around Red Bluff. So...
we had to let it cool off and fill it up with water so we
could ease back to Sacramento. Luckily it was a downhill
run (literally) and the RV didn't begin overheating again
until we got into stop and go traffic back in Sacramento.
All in all we just took a 6 hour drive in the country. The
Lord has His reasons for these things, praise Him for that...
Now lets check out some news...
Hey, it looks like Walmart, Kmart, and all the other marts
have found another way to get sweat shop manufactured apparel
to you. Now they are purchasing from sweatshops in Jordan...
where the workers are imported from India, Bangladesh, Sri
Lanka, and other Asian locales as essentially slaves in
a foreign land. I guess those sweatshops in Latin America
and Indonesia just couldn't compete, what with their 50
cent an hour wages and such...
The big story is of course, the pending war in Iraq. Even
some secular folks are beginning to wonder if the type of
person who is prepared to destroy a nation and kill 10's
of thousands of innocents preemptively is not the true evil
madman. Check out this quote from Hal
Crowther: "More than 80,000 Iraqi
civilians died as a result of our limited "surgical"
strikes during the Gulf War. This time the Pentagon plans
to hit Baghdad with 800 cruise missiles in the first 48
hours. If you saw Dresden after the firebombing, Hiroshima
after the fireball, perhaps you can imagine the effect.
Otherwise you cannot. I believe that anyone who supports
such an attack--on a country that has not attacked the United
States (or anyone, recently)--is in some sense clinically
insane. Anyone who orders the attack is close enough to
an Antichrist to suit my limited secular specifications."
Meanwhile, the Turks may have voted no to US troops, but
that still hasn't stopped us from unloading
them and moving them towards the Iraqi border.
This is the type of thing that will cause the Turkish government
to fall to fundamentalist. Just as our secret
positioning of troops in Saudi Arabia may
do the same thing there... and Pakistan's
Musharraf could also be ousted due to Iraq.
So then what we'll have is a great majority of the world's
Muslim governments ready to take drastic action to stem
American Imperialism... can anyone say Gog
Magog?
I know you're not buying all the lofty reasons we've been
given for going into Iraq. Turns out its worse than we thought.
Not only is this little affair about money and empire, but
it turns out guys like the Defense Policy Board's Richard
Perle, stand to make some big bucks themselves.
Interestingly, Perle's response to the New Yorker Magazine
writer who documented this compromised position, is to call
him a terrorist... Yes there is no doubt,
the New Yorker is a terrorist organization and must be purged
immediately (please!). These men have no shame... some day
soon they'll be labeling you and I as terrorist.
None of that stuff really matters to guys like Perle and
Bush though, Bush especially has given himself over to the
Crusader
mentality of his Dominionist Christian cronies.
All that matters to these guys is ridding the world of evil,
in all its forms... Ironically, they have set themselves
against the very God they claim to serve in this endeavor.

If Australian and British news reports are correct, we could
see GWB issue a 72-hour
ultimatum to Iraq as early as next week with
an invasion starting as early as March
17th. Combine that with the belligerence
he displayed at tonight's press conference towards any course
besides attacking and one gets the sense things are going
to start very soon.
Interestingly, as unimpressed as the left is with GWB,
the cult
of worship developing around him in conservative
circles is beginning to rival that of Reagan. The Church
of course is at the forefront of this worship, just as they
were for Reagan. See, with these guys, you can bomb whomever
you want and pillage whomever you want, just say God's name
every now and then, sprinkle your speeches with religious
imagery, and above all else deliver the cash-money to the
Church leaders... and you're in like flin. Heck, they'll
not only let you do anything, but they'll let you do it
in
the name of God.
Speaking of... boy is the press inundating us with stories
of Bush's faith... in the mainstream press they attempt
to be evenhanded about reporting on Bush's
"higher calling". This is pretty
hard for most of them to do since they have no
real understanding of how Evangelical Christianity
(origin of Bush's foot-soldiers) actually work. Because
of this, they totally miss the boat on just how far down
the path of destruction all of this will go. It disables
them from understanding the reality of Bush's and the Church's
vision for the Middle East and how that vision is totally
in harmony with that of the Bryzenski's, Kissenger's, Rumsfeld's,
Rice's and Wolfowitz's of the world whose sole vision of
of American Empire on a worldwide scale.
Well, that's it for tonight. I'll be out of town this weekend.
Dene and I are making a trip up to Portland, Oregon to meet
with believers in that area. After that, I am heading back
to be at work Monday, while Dene is going to make his way
up to the Seattle area to meet with folks up there If you'd
like to meet with us in Portland or Dene in Washington state,
just call Fred Palmquist of Antipas Ministries at (916)
730-7099 for more info.

I know everyone is completely caught up in what is going
on with Iraq... and rightfully so, but we should all pay
closer attention to N.
Korea. I realize this isn't the first time
I've said this, yet the potential for 100's of thousands
of deaths in even a limited war is quite possible. The biggest
thing is this, the US is being very passive towards them
at the moment, because of their agenda in Iraq... but when
they finally do decide to strike, the won't have to worry
about reprisals from 1 billion Muslims, so I am sorely afraid
the use of nukes by the US is not out of the question. More
on this as it develops...
It was surprising to see the Turks vote against US forces
passing through to Northern Iraq. The US can still accomplish
the goals in Iraq without coming in from Turkey, but it
will be riskier
and more complicated. Maybe we don't know
the whole story though. The US is already pressuring Turkey
to place the measure before parliament again and US
military equipment is still being unloaded in Turkish ports.
The real thorny issue is if the Turks do take part in the
invasion and clash with the Kurds in Northern Iraq. The
Kurds have already vowed
to fight any Turkish invaders.
Let us not lose sight of the big picture in all of this.
The US has designs that reach far beyond Iraq and in fact
plan for an all-encompassing world empire. There will obviously
be serious consequences to this, not the least of which
is the prospect of blowback.
Meanwhile GW's boys are already plotting out the 2004 campaign...
with plans to raise up to $250
million for the campaign. Bush has told told
his planners though, that he won't start campaigning until
we are through with the Iraqi war. Things like this make
it easy to see that recent Iraqi concessions won't
alter Bush's war plans.
Its not just the friends and families of soldiers who are
worried about there safe return from the Mideast, but those
of private defense contractor employees as well. There are
literally thousands
of nonmilitary support personnel assisting
US forces in the region. Meanwhile, the CEO's of all the
big corporations are converging on Boca Raton, for a secret
powwow. Guys like that can meet in secrecy,
but the time is fast in coming when most people won't...
especially if Brother
Ashcroft has his way. This does not bode
well for antiwar leaders, since they are planning an escalation
of their efforts.
Believe me, Ashcroft and his masters aren't going to let
a few "peaceniks" get in their way. The guys who
began
formulating this plan of empire are not to
be deterred. They have bided their time and have meticulously
put everything in place, so they could seize this moment
to achieve their far reaching goals of global hegemony.
We at Antipas have for sometime been talking about these
things. The articles linked to on the right menu of this
page are our perspective of all this in light of prophecy.
I encourage you, if you haven't as of yet, to find the time
to read them and the many more available at the past
articles section of the Endtimes Network.
Also, if you haven't checked out our multimedia presentation
Collateral Damage,
I would encourage you to do so as well (be kind, it was
my first attempt at doing that kind of thing). Also keep
Steve, Doug, and Jack (who are out visiting with people
across the US to confer on these issues) in your thoughts
and prayers. You can follow their exploits and read their
insights while on the road by reading Doug's Travel
Journals.
God Bless!

Attention everyone... Dracma is back again. Please be sure
and check out his latest seditious ramblings on Letters
From Babylon. Today's journal will be a short
one. Either tomorrow or Monday I'll post a large one.
To begin with, I'd like to say how interesting it is that
the Turkish
Parliment voted against hosting the 60,000
American troops preparing to enter the country. The troops
were to be used to establish a northern front against Iraq.
This really makes you wonder where Turkey is going to end
up, which camp they'll end up in I mean. Will they remain
on the side of Babylon (America) or will their overwhelmingly
Muslim population have its way and see Turkey side with
the other Islamic nations in the coming civilization
war.
Make no mistake, this attack on Iraq is truly an escalation
of that war. Purportedly this is about freeing the Iraqi
people, yet in actuality we are going to be freeing
them to death. This is not about freedom
or safety for the peoples of Iraq or America. It is about
oil, money, and power. That is why it is truly a civilization
war, because the right wing elites of this country believe
their path to more riches and long-standing American hegemony
lies through the middle east... And they believe as Kissinger
that, "Oil is too valuable a commodity to be left in
the hands of the Arabs".
Apparently not everyone involved with the Bush administration
lacks a conscience on these things. Career diplomat John
Kiesling recently resigned
over his disagreement with the administrations unilateral
rush to war.
In closing I offer more info
on Rummy's past involvement with the Butcher
from Baghdad... seems they used to be regular pals.

Be sure and check out the updated Antipas
Journeys Travel Journal...
More and more it seems folks are beginning to talk of faith
and prophecy. Sadly it is in the light of the Dominionist
Dreams of Bush and his fellow neocons. Romans
2: 24 says, "For the
name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you,
as it is written." Once again I must say, because
of Bush and right-wing Christians, Christ and Christianity
are being disparaged by the world. An example of this is
the spate of left-leaning articles I have highlighted lately
which not only take Bush's perverted eschatological views
to task, but Christianity in general. Here
is another example of such an article. They are right-on
in dismissing the avarice for conquest displayed from the
right as being anything from God, but in their justifiable
revulsion, they have thrown the baby out with the bath water.
Bush and Co. are swearing they have great plans for some
kind of benevolent
reconstruction of Iraq for It's people...
That and either threats or bribes are what they are using
to convince Mexico and other States to support or at least
abstain from voting against the war. Those thinking America
"the Gentle Giant" is going to lovingly remake
Iraq and the Mideast into one great big democratic oil-pumping
client region, think again. We have a "martial
plan, not a Martial Plan." As if this
isn't enough to worry about, now news is coming out about
the Administration's plans to "de-form"
America's pension plans.
I am not one to make this all about politics (my kingdom
is not of this world), but for whatever its worth, here's
a list of Bush
lies...
We've been discussing it a lot lately, but here is some
more info on Shock
and Awe... Funny how they won't estimate
how many civilians will be going from shock to awe to death
in this plan. Despite tons of protests and the fact that
almost all the UN is against this war, Bush and US officials
say war is inevitable and the
future of the UN is at stake... meaning a
No vote makes it irrelevant. It is almost humorous how all
the right-wingers and conspiracy theorist (Pat Robertson,
Jerry Falwell, Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, et al. included)
were telling us how the UN was going to take control of
the US, etc., etc. and institute their one-world government.
My guess (an educated one at that) is that a one world government
of sorts will be instituted, but Uncle Sammy will be carrying
the big stick.
In a prophetic sense, this war is just what the War-Church
wants. Former military leaders are even saying this affair
will radicalize
the remainder of the Islamic world... That
however is exactly what they want... to wound the animal,
back it into a corner, and when it lashes out... utterly
destroy it. This is why the US is going to use a huge
force to occupy Iraq... So they can be right
there to finish the job when the time is right... which
in their estimation, may not be to much longer.
In closing I'm leaving you with two articles concerning
Norman Mailer. The first is his take on the situation, which
is that America is in the process of overtly building
an empire. The second is a recent interview
Mailer did with American Conservative Magazine on the same
subject and more. The entire interview was very good and
I have even pasted a few excerpts below:
"But lately, there are two
profoundly different kinds of conservatives emerging, as
different in their way as the communists and the socialists
were before and after 1917, yes, two types of conservatives
in America now. What I call value conservatives
because they believe in what most people think of as the
standard conservative valuesfamily, home, faith, hard
work, duty, allegiancedependable human virtues. And
then there are what I call flag conservatives,
of whom obviously the present administration would be the
perfect example."...
"I dont think flag
conservatives give a real damn about conservative values.
They use the words. They certainly use the flag. They love
words like evil. One of Bushs worst faults
in rhetoric (to dip into that cornucopia) is to use the
word evil as if it were a button he can touch
to increase his power. When people are sick and have an
IV tube put in them to feed a narcotic painkiller on demand,
a few keep pressing that button. Bush uses evil as his hot
button for the American public. Any man who can employ that
word 15 times in five minutes is not a conservative. Not
a value conservative. A flag conservative is another matter.
They rely on manipulation. What they want is power. They
believe in America. That they do. They believe this country
is the only hope of the world and they feel that this country
is becoming more and more powerful on the one hand, but
on the other, is rapidly growing more dissolute. And so
the only solution for it is empire, World Empire. Behind
the whole thing in Iraq is the desire to have a huge military
presence in the near-East as a stepping stone for eventually
taking over the world. Once we become a twenty-first century
version of the old Roman Empire, then moral reform will
come into the picture. The military is obviously more puritanical
than the entertainment media. Soldiers can, of course, be
wilder than anyone, but the overhead command is a major
pressure on soldiers, and it is not permissive."...
"I think Americans took a
hit that is not wholly out of proportion to what happened
to the Germans after World War I when inflation came and
wiped out the fundamental German notion of self, which was
that if you worked hard and saved your money, you ended
up having a decent old age. It is my belief Hitler could
never have come to power ten years later without that runaway
inflation. By the same measure, I think 9/11 did something
comparable to the American sense of security."...
"Well, to begin with, I would
say that flag conservatives are not Christians. They are,
at best, militant Christians, which is, of course, a fatal
contradiction in terms. They are a very special piece of
work, but they are not Christians. The fundament of Christianity
is compassion, and it is usually observed by the silence
attendant on its absence."...
February 24, 2003
Things are certainly starting to get serious with North
Korea. Kim isn't backing down and the Japanese have already
said they will preemptively strike if N. Korea makes a real
move to launch missiles at them. On top of all this the
Pentagon is already putting their war-plan
together for this conflict... and it is total war, with
potentially 1 million casualties in the first few days of
any war.
Another Counterpunch
article detailing Bush's Armageddon fixation
is up... this one also quotes Steve's article on the Principles
of Messianic Leadership. While the article
rejects any truth in prophecy (incorrectly) it does shed
light to the very real fact that Bush and CO. with their
Dominionist belief structure are truly trying to usher in
the Apocalypse... me thinks they may get their wish, but
not in the way they imagine.
On the money front... big oil already has their maps out
and are staking their claims in the coming new
Iraq. It doesn't seem there is much left
to be done for this thing to regrettably start. Just today,
the Turkish
Cabinet approved US troop deployments in
their nation.
The spinmeisters have been working round the clock to sell
this upcoming carnage as a "just
cause", not only to the US populace,
but in the former British empire as well. While this is
going on, we have already started pounding
Iraqi defenses in anticipation of go-time...
yet it apparently still doesn't matter that the monster
we are about to destroy is one we created and armed.
I promised everyone a mail bag yesterday, but was unable
to do it. So without any further adieu, here are just a
few of the emails I've gotten lately:
-----------------------
Maybe you already knew this one, but if you take the
phrase 'department of homeland security' , translate it
into Russian and then take the first letter of each word,
you get - (big surprise!) "KGB".

In response to my earlier comments on Matthew 5:
Hi Sean
Reading over Matthew 5, I thought it needed to be brought
up to date in order to reflect the mentality of the current
church. So here's the new and improved version:
Blessed are the rich and proud of spirit, for theirs is
the kingdom of heaven as it finds expression on the earth.
Blessed are those who have no need of mourning, for their
lack of conscience is their comforter.
Blessed are the strong, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who don't know hunger and thirst because
their wealth is evidence that God has shown them His goodwill.
Blessed are those who don't show mercy to the unrighteous,
for there is no room for mercy in righteous indignation.
Blessed are the pure in their religious practices, for they
shall see the evidence of God's approval in their bank accounts.
Blessed are those who hate the peacemakers, for they will
be called God's avenging army.
Blessed are you when you insult, persecute and falsely
say all kinds of evil against "evildoers" because
they have incurred your righteous wrath. Rejoice and be
glad, because great is your reward on earth, for in the
same way they persecuted the "prophets" and so
are receiving their just reward.

Hi
Just a quick email to tell you about TBNS latest
endorsement on the up coming war.
I live in London, England and I dont usually watch
TBN (Charlatan channel) but I sometimes I flick through
to find out what they are up to. On Wednesday night on their
Praise the Lord programme, I could not believe my eyes or
ears.
They were openly endorsing the coming war and rallying
everyone to get behind GWB and his New World Order. Interpreting
the scriptures relating to the Gog & Magog war to this
coming war saying that: Forces of good will enter Babylon
from the North (Turkey) and will destroy Babylon and also
from south (Saudi Arabia) .What a lot of nonsense!
This was clearly deliberately done to mislead their
viewers around the world. Dont American Christians
know about Biblical prophecy or are they easily lead by
the cash & Cadillac preachers who twist the truth for
their own secret agenda?
I didnt catch the Guys name that sounded and looked
like an aggressive and intimidating Hoover salesman, which
at one point ordered everyone on their knees to pray for
their great Christian leader GWB.
Of all the phoney and money grabbing preachers I have
ever seen he must be the phoniest one and I could not help
thinking why American Christians listen to these people?
At this time I was so angry that I changed the channel
.I suppose this rallying the Christians comes after the
religious broadcasters conference the other day.
One more thing, I dont Condon Sadaams regime
in fact we all know he is an evil dictator .He started the
Iran Iraq war in 1980.He bombed Tehran Iran where
I am originally from and lived in Tehran for 15 years with
my family which we were a Christian minority group (Armenian
mother &Chaldean Catholic father)
I left Iran in 1979 after the Islamic revolution, but
my mother and my sister and aunt (who worked for the American
Air force in Tehran for 25 years) were in Tehran when Sadaams
air force bombed Tehran.
However lets not forget who put these puppets
in government. Both the Shah of Iran & Saddam was put
in by the American foreign policy.
Just to let you know that you guys are doing a grand
job and I also wanted to know if you have any groups in
London. I did email you guys about this 2 months ago and
someone came back to me saying they will look into it.
The church That I go to in London believe in the pre
trib rapture .The teaching is good ,but I have never heard
any end time bible prophecy being taught .I suppose if you
believe in pre trib rapture you dont want to bother
the congregation about things which will not concern them.
I found out about the Pastors view point when I asked
him does he believe in pre trib rapture about 2 years ago.
He said he did and I gave him some material to read and
he said he might do a sermon on the subject. He never did.
Last Christmas I gave him copy of a chapter of a e-book
called EXPOSING SATANS LEFT BEHIND by Hammick
and he said he will read it. But 2 weeks ago I asked him
if he has had a chance to read it and what does he think
about it? He told me he has yet to read it.
Dont get me wrong he is a very learned and able
pastor and very kind and I dont have anything against
him But I think the Lord is challenging me with regards
the end times. I even got a group from the church to come
to my house to watch a video by the Late BARRY SMITH regarding
the Mystery Babylon and they were all amazed by this .Ive
got other videos and books which I pass round to friends
but I wish I could do more. I keep telling my 2 boys about
this, but they dont believe it and they are not born
again. Please pray for them (Robert and Daniel)
I think its time to get ready for the end times
and prepare. After leaving my well paid Job at the BBC last
November because I didnt agree with the secular system
and I felt more and more each day that I did not belong,
I am now looking to sell my house and become debt free and
have a Mobile home in Portugal, but still live in London
and try to find another job.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my nonsense.
Drop me an email when you get a chance.
God Bless you all

That's all for today. God Bless...
February 22, 2003
Well, the guys left from Santa Cruz yesterday to begin
their cross country trek. They'll be sending out updates
as the go and I will of course let you know whenever an
update has been sent out. I received an email the other
day from a family member in Clarksdale, MS (which is where
I was born). The email had an excellent article from the
local paper attached, which was titled: What
Would Jesus Do About Saddam? What the US
government is planning on doing is staging the
mother of all war shows.
More news on Patriot
II and why it is much more scary than the
first... Seems Brother Ashcroft has big plans for keeping
all of us in line. It will only get worse
my friends, because this thing is not
stopping with Iraq. Bush and Co. have big
ideas extending
far beyond Iraq. That is why unlike Afghanistan,
the US plans on being
in Iraq for the long-term. For a really good
overview of the origins of this situation, checkout the
PBS
Frontline report.
Bush loves the military right? I mean that is all we hear
about... especially as a contrast to Clinton's "loathing
of the military". Funny though, it seems Bush doesn't
love the kids of the soldiers that much. I mean, he has
rammed through billions in tax cuts for his rich cronies,
yet is also slashing
education budgets for children of soldiers.
I guess all that "no child left behind" stuff
was just for show...
Lest we forget about N. Korea, check out this Stars
and Stripes article on a possible troop build
in Japan. Also, take a look at all the American
companies that supplied materials for Saddam's weapon of
mass destruction. Kind of reminds you of
Prescott Bush and his trading with the Nazis.
Remarkably, in all of this evangelical Christians have
been the most gung-ho about going to war. Christian leader
Charles Colson even says, "Sometimes
going to war is the charitable thing to do."
... I say what a farce. Colson and his ilk should read the
first article I linked to today, since they have apparently
never learned anything from their readings of the Bible.
These guys are only about the money though, so what should
we expect? Believe me, there is a ton of money out there.
These guys are making billions, especially in broadcasting.
To close I offer you this synopsis
on the origins of the right-wing movement. I know everyone
thinks Goldwater started all this, but this link is interesting
in that it shows how big-business and conservatives were
joined together... That's all for today. I am going to try
and get a "mail bag" up tomorrow.
February 18, 2003
I'll be short on comments and long on links today. There
are lots of articles to share with you. I hope you have
had a chance to read our latest
article. I encourage you to do so as soon
as possible. Gore Vidal is quoted in that piece and his
essay on The
Enemy Within is quite compelling. The questions
it raises about our administration's fore-knowledge of the
9\11 attacks are important for everyone to consider... especially
in light of what is coming down the pike.
Don't believe a word about our attacking Iraq having anything
to do with humanitarian concerns. Like most wars, this one
is about economics.
Without an understanding of where all of this headed (a
biblical understanding), it would be easy to say the
US has gone mad in their lust for battle.
However, when considered in a biblical context, that their
strategy is overt world domination, one sees that the cat
is just finally being let out of the bag.
There was a past time, when a pluarality of views was available
in the American media. That time has passed as news conglomerates
control almost all the press, and their media holdings simply
parrot the line espoused by the mega-rich ownership of said
entities. A prime example of this is billionaire Rupert
Murdoch and his media empire.
Homeland Security... don't you feel safer just mouthing
the words? You shouldn't... it's not about protection
from terrorists, but about surveilling the
populace and cracking down on those who "kick against
the pricks"... Meanwhile, trouble still
brews in Afghanistan. Yet, we hear nothing
about it in the US. The moral of the story is this: no matter
what really happens in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, or whoesver's
next; most Americans will only hear what Bush and Co. want
them to hear.
There were big protests last week, but the American press
downplayed it as much as possible. There are actually millions
in this country and Europe who are not only oppposed to
war in Iraq, but are actually willing to take
to the streets. From Pensacola,
FL, to the capitols
of Europe, to the Big
Apple, millions made a public statement to
their opposition to war. Sadly though, Christianity not
only supports the war, but is openly campaigning for it
from pulpits across America. Here is a story of one pro-war
church recently picketed.
What is about to happen in Iraq is a scenario that will
inflame
the world's Muslims against the US. This
is actually what the Right, Christians included, is secretly
hoping for. Then they'll be able to escalate their plans
to take dominion over all the world. Funny thing is, if
I had said that 3 years ago (which I was), many folks on
the left and Christians who are seeing it now, would have
considered me delusional... yet it doesn't seem so far-fetched
now does it? The Bible foretells of this very scenario occurring
and Antipas Ministries has been writing about it for years
(check out the articles on the right hand menu to see what
we have been saying).
Isn't it funny how news stories just kind of hang around
under the radar? One such story is that of voting
machine fraud. I don't know if anything will
ever come of it, but there is quite a bit of evidence that
misdeeds can easily be done. Keep your eye on this story
as the 2004 election looms.
Meanwhile, 100,000
US troops are ready to begin combat operations
in Kuwait. This of course doesn't count the forces in Qatar,
Jordan, and other locales in the region. The official line
is still to "liberate the Iraqi people". Robert
Steinback asks, "We're
going to liberate a population by killing them? How many
Iraqi deaths have we decided are worth sacrificing for Iraq's
freedom -- 500? 50,000? More?"
Finally, after much consternation and grandstanding by
France, Germany, and Belgium, the EU
agrees to a quasi-backing of the American position
on use of force in Iraq. Also, at the end of the last article,
U.S. Undersecretary of State John Bolton says, Syria, Iran
and North Korea will be dealt with after Iraq.

I realize I've been away for awhile, but I was pretty busy
this weekend... it happens sometimes ... I have lots of
stuff for the journal tomorrow. In the meantime, there is
a new article up on the Endtimes
Network. Here is a link to the article: Lies
And Deceit In The Service Of The American New World Order
System. So
dig into that one and stay tuned for a journal
update...
February 13, 2003
Good news everyone... Dracma is back again with another
letter posted on Letters
From Babylon. Also be sure and check out
Dene's
Diary, which was updated yesterday. Dene
has been quite busy, eh? Now lets throw some more logs on
the fire...
As if the major media's propagandizing for Bush and Co.
isn't enough, now GW is encouraging
religious broadcaster to get in on the act...
I thought they already were. I have never seen a group of
people more sycophantic towards someone undeserving than
what is occurring i.e.. Bush and the Church. Glenn Plummer,
Chairperson of the National Religious Broadcasters, actually
said Bush's faith... and I quote... "has served as
an inspiration to millions of Americans,"... Oh really.
What evidence of faith has been shown? I know I just went
over this the other day, but come on. Find a Bible, open
it to... say Matthew
Chapter 5. Even if you are not a Christian,
find a Bible and open it to chapter 5 of Matthew.
Start with verse 1 and read through to the last verse, which
is verse 48. Compare the words of Christ to the words and
actions of GWB. Take each scripture, point by point, and
look at the conduct of our President in contrast. It just
doesn't add up. On almost every point the supposed faith
of the man just doesn't manifest itself when compared to
the Word.
Now this all just came to me. I didn't even plan on writing
this tonight. It's 12 PM and I have to work tomorrow, but
still, the second I read that quote it came to my mind to
mention Matthew 5 to
all of you. So read it... like I said, even if you aren't
a Christian, read it. Compare and contrast. It is not that
hard. Email
me with your comments on this whether you
think GW's witness stands up in the light of Matthew
5 or if it doesn't.
Then ask yourself this question, if you and I can see that
Bush in no way represents Christ, then what does that say
about the purported "millions" to whom his faith
serves as an inspiration? Does callousness inspire them?
Does violence inspire them? Does warfare and shedding the
blood of innocent women and children inspire them? Does
oppressing and stripping liberty away from the people you
took an oath to serve inspire them (more on this later)?
If these things inspire them, which they must... being that
your average Christian is so ate up in Bush worship they
can't see the forest for the trees... as I was saying, if
these things inspire them, then just what God are they serving?
Just because the man says he is a believer and is a man
of faith, really means nothing if the facts don't bear it
out. I can say I love animals and would never hurt them,
but if I kick my dog every day, you probably aren't going
to believe me. Then again, if you are a Christian, you probably
will believe me and will give me all your money so I can
buy a pair of steel toed boots...
Anyway, read Matthew 5
and compare it to what we have been reporting about Bush.
Just type his name in on the search
engine at Endtimesnetwork and check out the
articles I have been linking to here at ISRP and get back
to me. Now on to other things...
Ari Fleischer and Russell Mokhiber are at it again... be
sure and check out the latest
installment of Ari & I.
Lest we forget, Iraq is just the beginning of all this.
After
Iraq, Bush and co. have plans to remake the
whole Middle East... Meanwhile the citizens of Iraq are
waiting
for the bombs. What else can they do?
In closing, I'm going to leave you with a link to the Patriot
2, a.k.a. the Domestic Security Enhancement
Act of 2003 , which I have uploaded to the ISRP sight. This
is a huge PDF file (7 MB), but if possible I encourage you
to download and read it. The measures enclosed in this legislation
will forever change this country and are the beginning of
the end for those of us who love the Truth. While neither
endorsing or rejecting all of the content of the following
web site, a very good short analysis of Patriot 2 is available
here.
Read the original document, which is available above and
compare it to what the analysis says. This is intimidating
stuff. Rejoice in Christ however, because the victory is
His.
"What shall we then say to these
things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that
spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It
is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is
Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is
even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession
for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy
sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as
sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are
more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am
persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things
to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which
is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8: 31-39

First things first... The initial posting to Letters
From Babylon is up... just click the link
to check it out. If you are familiar with C.S. Lewis, you
should get a kick out of the letters... if not, you'll still
enjoy them, but just remember they are not real. I know
it seems obvious to state that, but we did something like
this a couple of years ago and numerous people emailed us
saying they were appalled that we were in cahoots with Beelzebub...
We have thus learned to state the obvious, since some folks
are quite oblivious...
An article today is touting the "religious...
sense of calling" pervading the Bush
White House. I just wonder whose calling they are answering
to to. Many are at odds with the record to date of the Bush
presidency, most specifically their lust for military action
in Iraq. One such person at odds with the Bush presidency
is Joe Simonetta, a former U.S. Army artillery officer and
commander of a nuclear missile team. He has eloquently framed
"the
insanity (which) has gripped our country".
Which leads me to once again ask, whose calling are they
(Bush and Co.) answering to? Simonetta, is not looking at
this from a Scriptural standpoint. If he were, he would
be even more upset that he already is.
There are a litany of scriptures that lay out how Christians
are to live in relationship to Christ and to their fellow
man. When Christ came and fulfilled the law, dying on the
cross as the "perfect sacrifice for our sins",
He gave us a new commandment, "love your neighbor as
you love yourself". He also spoke at length about our
(a Christian's) conduct toward family, friend, and enemy
alike. In all instances he stated quite plainly that we
were to love them and "return good for evil".
My question is, how can dropping 80 million pounds of explosives
on Iraq be construed as returning good for evil? Bush must
think the Bible says, "blow off your enemy's head before
he can take out your eye". Thankfully it says no such
thing.
As terrible as this situation is "in the natural"
it is even that much more sickening for Bush to pass himself
off as a Christian and do these things. Pretty harsh words
you say? Well all we can do is "judge a tree by it's
fruits" (Matthew 7: 17-19)
and raining fire down on your enemies is not what I consider
good fruit.
Remarkably, of all the people clamoring for war, large
parts of the Intelligence community are against it. One
group of former CIA agents has even written a memo
to the President, stating their case.
An ironic fact that keeps surfacing is the US government's
instrumental hand in creating and funding Islamic terrorism...
a relationship that is still
in tact. We have commented in the past about
American support of terrorist in Chechneya, Kosovo, and
It's spawning of the whole gamut of networks throughout
the Middle East(for supporting articles about this, go to
the search
page on the Endtimesnetwork
and type in Chechneya, Kosovo, Islam, terrorist, or any
other relevant words).
What is ironic is to once again look at things from a Biblical
perspective. Jesus said, "Every
kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation;
and a house divided against a house falleth."
Luke 11: 17... So if
America created the terrorists they are now trying to destroy,
what kind of implication does that leave for the country?
If it is truly a godly country, then it is divided against
itself and will fall... or if it is not a godly country,
but instead under the dominion of the prince of this world,
as the Scripture intimates, then sowing destruction, rebellion,
terrorism, conquest, etc., etc. is in no way contrary to
what It's core make-up is all about.
February 7, 2003
All those Christians looking for the New Age AntiChrist
need to wake up. The most powerful nation of all time, the
nation which will produce the "son of perdition"
is an overwhelmingly
"Christian" nation... Christian
at least in a Laodicean sense (see
Revelation 3: 14-17). Yet the compromised,
dare I say perverted form of godliness embraced by the American
Church has nothing to do with the Prince of Peace and much
to do with the god of war. They do everything they can to
beat the world at its own game, lusting for money, power,
and the spoils they bring, no matter the cost. Their mimicry
of all things bad in this world is astounding and truly
fulfills the words of Paul, "For
the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through
you, as it is written." Romans 2: 24
Now Paul was speaking to the Church in Rome, telling them
they were so hypocritical, polluted and misguided, that
their testimony was causing the unsaved of the nations to
speak ill of the name of Christ. Bearing that in mind, consider
good old "brother" Ashcroft... Not only is this
guy trying to extend the powers
of the police state by pushing a secret draft
bill to expand existing legislation with Patriot
II ... but he is even doing all he can to
get the federal courts to sentence
more men and women to death... How Christian
of "brother" Ashcroft. No wonder those outside
the Church want nothing to do with his brand of religion.
They don't have to come to Christ if they want to be oppressors,
exploiters, or executioners; so why bother.
All of this kind of reminds me of a quote by the late Ted
Knight's character, Judge Smails, from the 80's movie Caddyshack.
Smails is talking to this teenager and tells him in a dead-serious
way, "...You know Danny, I've sentenced young men,
younger than you, to the gas chamber. I didn't want to do
it, but I felt I owed it to them..."
That is where we are at people... just like the Mai Lai
massacre, Bush and company along with most of the Church
feel that in order "to save the village" (the
world) "we have to destroy it." How sick is that?
How far away from the gospel of Christ is that? how can
someone dare to think America, as an entity or group of
people, is some kind of "redeemer nation"? That
God will somehow be with us, while we "rid the world
of evildoers"?... It would boggle the mind if the Bible
hadn't foretold of this happening.
Things are to the point now, where Colin Powell can stand
before the UN and offer up a report citing Iraq's guilt
that was plagiarized
from some University student's 1991 thesis? To bad they
didn't choose one of my old college papers to cheat off
of; because then everyone would be able to see how ridiculous
this whole thing has become... Yet America and the Church
could care less. Nothing is going to stand in their way
of getting what they want, not even the truth.
Speaking of truth... the last time we could actually verify
Iraq's having a real bio-chem weapons program is when they
were still using the stuff the US sold them in the 80's.
These were deals that were presided over by none other than
our esteemed Secretary
of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Not only did
Rummy push the deals through, but he and the US government
were aware they were being used on Iranians and Kurds, while
also providing logistics
and endorsement for their use.
None of this makes any sense until you realize what this
is truly
all about. This war is about oil, riches,
power, and empire. It has nothing to do with terrorism...
or democracy for Iraq... or protecting America... or any
thing other than being the next step in the establishment
of world domination... just as we have
been saying and as it is written of in the
scripture.
The only alternative is to seek out Christ. He is the only
salvation from this train-wreck. Nothing is going to stem
the tide of the US juggernaut until the end... Neither democrats,
libertarians, socialists, anarchist, activists, nor any
other group have any solution that will work. Christ
is the only way. He is our rescuer in this
situation and He alone can "deliver us from evil"...
and that is what the American empire and it's Church truly
are... evil.
